Shabby Chic or Vintage

Hi there! Wendsday again and I am back with a new card for the Paper Shelter challenges. This week we have something to put your teeth into. We have the theme of Shabby Chic or Vintage.

My card is vintage, I hope somewere in that area at least. I am not very good with this theme buts that's why we have them isn't it? To challenge ourself and others. That's the fun part about crafting. I have used the Geisha Doll image from the Shelter of corse. She was such a joy to colour. It was a good hour or two. :) She is paired up with some smashing vintage papers from the Bearly Mine Designs. Love these ones have used them over and over again.

Some flowers from Kort og Godt and wild Orchid Crafts. Golden pearl maker pen, lace and metal corners from Wild Orchid crafts. The charms are from Pagoni here in Sweden. The best service ever! Love them. I have also put a little decorations inside the card, just a little to make it looked dressed.

As always we have a gift voucher up for grabs if you use a TPS image, it's worth $20. If you play with with another brand you can win three digis of your choise.

A chillin' challenge

Good morning and hello! Wendesday again and I am double posting once again. Hope you are having a fine days so far. I'm Ok, and will soon be going to the hospital for a new X-ray of my knee and foot. Still working hard to make it work, but it feels like something is wrong in the foot. Hope they find something that can be fixed.

Oh well, that's just life I guess. We skip the thought of pain and illnesses and go straight on to what's fun in life, crafting. I have made this card for the challenge over at For Fun this week were we have the theme of snowmen! How fun is that in the beginning of the summer? The lovely people over at Dearie Dolls are sponsoring us this week. Thanks so much for that. Please do pop on over there to have a look at some lovely images.

I have used some lovely designer papers from Bearly Mine Designs once again. This time the papers are from the digi set called Christmas Wishes. Love the wonderful colours in this. Just yummi! For the decoration I have used a couple of wooden snow flakes from BunnyZoe and a ribbon from Joanna Sheen. I have also used my new gadget Sew Easy and stitched around all the edges. Looking fab I think and stitching suddenly got way much easier.

So I hope you need some cooling of and come and play with us over at For Fun this week. Unfortunatly this will be the very last challenge over at For Fun. We in the team have had a blast during this time and it has be great having all of you playing with us during this time. So let's go out with a bang and have lots of entries for this challenge, shall we?

Tuesday again

Hello there! Tuesday and I finally have a new card to show you. I have been out riding my new bike. Not the motor version. I hate high speed if I don't make it myself. Put me on a bike or in a rowing boat I will be a happy gal. That's speeds for me. We have some splendid summer weather as well with 20-25 degree Celcius. Nice and lovely but I don't get much done. LoL

So on to my card. I have used an old stamp that never have been used from Bildmålarna. Coloured it with distress inks. Yes, I know, again! How will this end? My poor Letraset family. The designer papers are from Bearly Mine Design and the digi set Floral Breeze, one of the newest sets over at the Bearly Mine Store. Some stunning papers in there. Don't miss out on these.

Some flowers from I am roses and my stash. I am roses is also our sponsor this week over at the Bearly Mine Challenges. Our theme for the week is Anything goes, so I bet I'll be seeing one or two of you there. That's what I am hoping for at least.

Love n hugs
Marie

When the sky is blue...

That's how a kid's song starts here in Sweden and then it goes on with something like this "how good it is to live...". And I think that's how my little guy on my card feels. LoL This is one of the most wonderful images from the Paper Shelter with boys on them. I do hope there will be coming more of these guys. I totally adore them! They are fantastic! This guy is from the set called Happy Times and you find three lovely guys in this set. Then there is a singel one who is playing baseball. Wish we played that game here in Sweden. LoL

Anyway, here I am just talking and talking. Let's see the set is called Happy Times and I have paired him up with some designer papers from the fabby company Echo Park. I love the paper with the amusement park theme on it. It's so cheerful and fun. You know happy times! Always tons of fun bright papers that I love to play with when it comes to cards for boys and LO's for my boys as well. They are just perfect. I have also used a net ribbon from Bunny Zoe and some die cut clouds made with a die from Memorie box. The kid is coloured with my Letraset family as always and the sentiment is from Magnolia. It says Happy Birthday!

So now we have it, the theme of the week over at the Paper Shelter is to make a card with a birthday sentiment on it. Love to see an image as well and the sentiment not to forget. Otherwise you won't be in the draw. And as usual you can win a gift certificate worth $20 if you a drawn by Mr Random and have used a Paper Shelter image. Otherwise, if you have played with another brand you have the chance of winning three digis of your choice.

So why don't you jump on over to the Paper Shelter blog and look at what my teamies have done to amaze you all this week. You will be blown away! See you over there!

It's time again

Hi there! I am back again with one of my flower gardens. Well, I always manage to get too many flowers on my card but this time, it actually doesn't matter as the theme is Flowers, flowers, flowers. Always something. The card is made for the For Fun Challenges and we are sponsored by the lovely people at BugaBoo. Be sure to pop by and see that they have in their store.

I have used the lovely image called Girl daisies. Now, I wasn't in the mood to have just white and yellow flowers so on with my favourite colour blue and then some colouring with distress inks. My ink printer has no ink and lucky for me I always keep some ink papers (not water colouring papers) at hand if that should happened and now it did. And for once the papers even worked with me and didn't get it more messy than I make it myself. LoL

Flowers are from my mixed stash of flowers, lace from Wild Orchid Craft and the designer papers from Bearly Mine Designs. They are from the sets Petunia Parade, Floral Breeze and inside is the Fancy Circles used as well. My card is not quite as bright as it seems here, much more soft but the light is bright at this moment.

Hope you come and join our flower garden over at For Fun this week.

Love n hugs
Marie

A new pink card

Hello and how do you do? Hope everthing is bright and lovely where ever you are. I am in a happy mood, not because I want to, because my pills makes me feel this way. LoL Maybe it is a good thing after all? Oh well, life is strange and you really have to do the best of it even if it brings hard times every now and then.

Lucky for me I have my family, the best physio trainer around and not to forget my crafting and friends. It makes things a little easier. So you all know which day it is? Wendsday, yes once again! And there is a new challenge up over at For Fun. This time we want to see cards made for the best gal in your world. It might be a friend, your mum, sister, sister in law etc, a card just because you care.

I have made a card using one of the sweet and lovely Lili of the Valley stamps. They are such joy to colour and I love how cute they are. I have paired these Best Friends up with some lovely designer papers from Bearly Mine Design. They are from the set called Rose's Dream. It came on the marked last Friday and is filled with stunning papers. Very pretty! :) The inside is decorated with papers from the Just plain set and from Rose's Dream as well. I have also used Fancy Circles where you can write your message for your friend. Hopefully I remember to take a pic of the inside tomorrow. :)

The sea of flowers is made out of flowers from WOC and I am roses. There is some frosted lace stickles on and a few leafs made by a Magnolia die. The image is as most of the time coloured with my Letraset Family.

I hope you join us in our challenge for your best gal over at For Fun this week.

Love n hugs

Marie

Bewinged friends

I can for sure say that I am not much of a fairies gal but every now and then you need to let the bewinged friends to take over your life. You need to believe in the magic of these little creatures. LoL I hope that I one day got to see them for real, that would be magical! Wouldn't it be totally wonderful?

I have used this pretty little thing from Lili of the Valley. Isn't she the cutest? A really adorable little one. A bunch of flowers from my ever growing stash. The lace is from WOC, the butterfly charm is from a cross stitch magazine. The pins from WOC as well. The stunning designer papers are from Bearly Mine Designs and are called Flowers delight and Just Plain. You find them over at the Bearly Mine Designs. There is tons of goodies over in the store and there is three new digi sets relized the last couple of weeks. The news sets are called Rose's Dream and Petunia Parade. Two stunning sets that I will put to good use the coming weeks.
Sponsoring this week is Bearly Mine Designs. So come and join in and take the chance to win some new digi sets. You will love them. You can win two of those stunning sets if you are the lucky winner drawn by Mr Random.

A forgotten one

Good evening, a short little note from me. I kind of what to get of the computer for an hour or so, so that I can get back on it a little later to write some more for tomorrow. I just need a break from it before that. LoL

I found a card that I have not gotten up here yet and since the challenge over at Just Magnolia is Anything goes with the option of swirls and pearls I thought I could enter that challenge with this little card. I have use a lovely Tilda that I believe is called Tilda with Tulips. The designer papers are from Basic Grey, Wisteria Lane. Lovely combo of lilacs, green, grey and blue.

Sweet little Tilda is coloured with my normal Letraset family. Flowers from WOC. Film strip from Tim Holtz, pearls from Bunny Zoe.

Now time for CSI on the telly. See you later!

Sketchy time!

Morning! Hope you have had a really good day so far. Mine is OK and that is pretty good at this time of my life. When everyone is waiting for the spring and summer, I keep longing back to the winter and cold when I feel so much better. Spring is absolutly terrible! Love to see the plants and trees coming to live again, but I hurt so badly. Oh well, if it wasn't for this I could not feel the good times right?

So on we go...This week I have a pretty busy card to show you. The designer papers are from Slöjddetaljer here in Sweden and from the beginning they where just black and white. Did some colouring on one of them. The markers bled quite badly on the paper but I think I have covered most of that. Now, this is not my normal kind of colours and I had a hard time getting it together. Luckly for me there is flowers! Big ones that can make anthing look a little bit more pretty. LoL

The image is from the Paper Shelter and is called Acrobat Little Doll. Isn't she the cutest? I have coloured with my Letraset family as I normally do. The big butterfly is from Bo Bunny, the small one came from Altheas Mix, flowers are from WOC and so is the lace. A pice of film strip from Tim Holtz, a few doilies from Panduro and pearls from Bunny Zoe and you get this mess. LoL The card is also made following the sketch we have over at the shelter for this weeks challenge. It's made by our lovely Shirley from the A team. Thank you hun! You find the sketch over at the Paper Shelter Challenge blog.

And as we always do over at the Shelter we have a $20 gift voucher up for grabs if you are the lucky winner choosen by Mr Random. Picked by the same Mr Random and you have played with another brand of stamp you are the lucky winner of three digis of your choice. Hope that just you are the winner! But to have a chance at all you need to get crafting, so off you go!

Good morning!

Hello and welcome back! Cheerful right? I have finally managed to get a doctor to take a look at my knee and foot. I have to wait about a month but hey, they will even X-ray them both. Yeah! Only took me about a month to get them to understand that I have a leg that goes two ways. Uper part goes to the left, lower part is heading right. And in the end there is a foot that doesn't know where to go so that part doesn't want to go at all. Confusing for the poor foot!

We have a challenge for you over at For Fun as well. This week we are doing a colour challenge. So this week we want to see Blue, Green and Cream as you main colours. Stunning colour combo and really hard to find papers for. :) At least it was here til I found my Top Hat papers from NitWit Collections. Some stunning green and blue and some cream cardstock made it all come together. I hope you can manage to find some in your ever growing stash as well. Isn't it strange? You never have enough of crafting goodies. I know I don't and I am outgrowing my crafting room for sure. LoL Lucky for the there is always the digital stuff that I tent to use most anyway and I never run out of my favourite papers.

Oh well, I leave you with this and hope that you join us in our colour combo challenge.

Love n hugs
Marie
