Morning and hello everyone!
It's me again. Long time no seen. I have been a bit lazy when it come to my cardmaking lately. I have spent more time with my crochet hook, making my small toys for kids at hospitals. It have been a good time when it comes to that.
Anyway, we have a new challenge up over at Passion for Markers today and this week's theme is set to
Use a circle
Our sponsor this week is Rachel Anne Miller who will spoil one lucky winner with a gift voucher worth £10.
Thank you for that lovely price!
For my card have I used a lovely image from RAM digital stamps called Friendship Mouse. Isn't it cute? I love it, it's so sweet and I love the lady bug. I have a special relationship to that insect. My grand dad used to call me Maria Nyckelpiga which is a character from a book. He always called me that and it was only him doing that. I think about him when I see one.
I have colored with a mix of markers from different brands. The designer paper is from Echo Park and the paper pad My favorite summer. As I printed my image pretty large was there not much space left for more than one dp. I added a ribbon to give some texture and details and I dug around in my flower stash and used a few of those as well. I also used a pink metal thread to give some more details with the flowers.
It was great fun to make a card again and use my metallic dies again. It was some time since I did that. This is one of those times when I wish I had a bigger die cut machine to get a larger circle but it turned out ok anyone. I have used plenty of circles on my card: for the image, the card shape and there is plenty of layers as well.
I hope you like what you see and there is plenty of inspiration over at our challenge blog Passion for Markers. We hope to see you there and I look forward to get some inspiration from all of you!
Love n hugs
Marie
