Come fly with me!

Morning and hello! Midweek and time for a new challenge over at The Paper Shelter. This weeks theme is "Come fly with me". That means we want to see something that can fly on your image, nice and easy I hope. Our challenge blog is filled with inspiration for you to look at.

My shoulders is really acting up again so this week I have gone pre coloured. I have used the sweet image called The fairy and the Wizard. A super sweet image and Veronica have done a smashing job colouring this image up. Isn't it sweet? I have paired it up with some First Edition papers, spring something I think. I only have parts of it left.

I have added some lace and some pretty flowers in pink and white for decorations. All these are from WOC. Some pearls from my stash, as butterfly bodies. Pearl hearts also from WOC. A few butterflies made with a MS punch. The rose lace is also from WOC if I remember right. Some glitter to the Wizards magic and the fairy wings.

As always the Paper Shelter is sponsoring with either three digis if you play with a different brand and a $30 gift voucher if you play with any TPS product. It would be really nice to see some more TPS images used in this challenge. A gift voucher worth $30 is quite many images from the Shelter.

Sweet and short today to help my shoulders heal. I see you back here soon hopefully!

Fairies and sentiment

EDITED: Ops! Ended up in draft! So here we go, new try

Morning and hello! Today is my last inspirational post for the AUD sentiment team. - Sad - I need to step down from this lovely team to make time for my kids and their homework. There is also the soccer club where both me and my partner has take on tasks for the youth section of the club, and then there is my poor pen pals that have started to wonder where my letters are. On top of that I have my work training after many years of being home with all my illnesses. I so want to get back to working again and just not only spend my time crafting even if it's great fun. So a little less team work with my beloved crafting and some more family time, or maybe I should say soccer time. LoL

I want to thank both of "Ginnies" and Julie for having me on the team the last year. It have been fun. I have learned to use more sentiments on my cards, not only the ones for AUD sentiments. I have worked with lots of images from companies that I probably wouldn't have picked myself which have put me out of my comfort zone and I have learned from that as well. So a big thank you to the three of you and to the rest of the AUD team and good luck to the new line up. (see I have a few soccer lines...) ;)

So here it is, my final card for AUD sentiments. I have used Hot Chocolate fairy from Sweet Pea stamps. A fun and detailed image to colour. I went on with the pink and brown theme for this card, but had a hard time deciding if it was going to be a Christmas card or birthday card. It landed on neither one. The sentiment say something like "a balanced diet is chocolate in both hands". Now we're talking hot chocolate, but that's chocolate too right? The sentiment is from Bildmålarna if I remember correctly.

The card without the glitter and gloss.

The designer papers are from First Edition I think and I have no clue from what pad. I have lost the front of it. I think that might have been given away to my oldest school. I clean out once ever second year and give the stuff to them to use. I get more room and the kids can have some fun with expensive papers and stamps. A win win as I get to buy new stuff. LoL

With gloss and glitter look

I have kept the card very simple because, well I kind of hit designers block. I had a plan when starting this card a few weeks ago but didn't know how to get where I wanted to go and ended up doing nothing. You know how it can be from time to time. A wooden heart shaped button with some scrappers floss is used to add a little interest. Also some glitter is used on the wings of Miss fairy Chocolate. For the chocolate cup I have used some glossy accent to add a tiny more bit of interest. On the Aud sentiment blogg you can see how it looks with out the glitter and gloss. I decided late last night to add this stuff.

Sponsoring us this challenge is Sweet Pea Stamps. Do go and check out all their fabby images. Lots to chose from and the images will keep you busy as there is many with lots of details to them. So if you're up for a challenge that's the place to go.

Our teammates are using images provided by Sweet Pea Stamps who is pairing up with us to sponsor this challenge.  They are also generously offering a prize for the winner of this challenge!!  If you see an image you like or if you want to shop around in their catalog of images, you can click on their name to go directly to their shop.  Thank you to all the artists from Sweet Pea Stamps!

Sketch time

Morning and hello! Time for a new challenge over at Passion for Promarkers today. It's sketch time and this time it looks like this. Such great sketch to work with so do give it a try.

For about a year ago or so BildmÃ¥larna closed down their business and I still miss them. Around that time I did colour this sweet little image up. It's very pale in the colours and I have used lots of glitter for the wings and some glossy accent to give a feeling of dew drops around the little fairy.

The designer papers are from Victoria design. The paper flowers are prima's shabby chick. Button from an old shirt. Pearls from my stash. Have used a corner punch and a MS punch for the border. Some scrappers floss for the bow and to mark off the green dp. Maybe I should have added a butterfly or something to the card as well, but maybe later. For now it will be like this. :)

School is starting today for the kids, so soon we will be back to our normal tired selfs. Hopefully it will be a smooth back to normal period. I am feeling stressed about having to kids with homework already, but we get there somehow.

Sponsoring this challenge two lovely companies. Firstly we have DigiStamp Boutique who are offering one lucky winner a £10.00 voucher to spend in the online store.

Our second sponsor is Letraset who are offering one lucky winner a Promarker Collectors set (6 pack) in pastel tones.

Lace and/or ribbon

Morning and hello!

Another week is on the go and half way there. The kids last week of summer vacation, on Tuesday it's time for the school work to begin again. As always I miss the routins when it's school, work, practise, sleep, school, work etc. But it's nice to have these few weeks doing whatever comes to mind too. I have three weeks left of my work practise and then I have no clue what I should be doing. That feels less good, and at the moment I wonder why I am trying at all. Pain all the time and I just feel I can do nothing, good days I rule the world! LoL But at the moment I don't. I am a bit low at the moment and have trouble getting things done and feel the joy in what I do. Nothing like sharing is there? Sorry to knock you down like this summer morning.

We have a new challenge up for you over at the Paper Shelter this week and the theme is set to Lace and/or ribbon so either one we want to see on your fabby creations. That's a really easy one isn't it?

As always the Paper Shelter is sponsoring with either three digis if you play with a different brand and a $30 gift voucher if you play with any TPS product.

I have gone for a Christmas/winter card this time and used the image Winter blossom. I like that one. It got really cold look and paired up with the blue dp and the vellum it became even better. The designer papers are an really old pack from Dovecraft. I have really loved this snowflake paper but now it's almost gone, which is good as I can get something new, but still. The vellum is embossed with a snow flake embossing plate or what you call them. Not used in a long time either.

A few spellbinder dies, flowers, pearls and odd bits and bobs. Of course some lace and ribbon from different places and the card was finished. Came together quite nicely and is the first card I made in my almost finished craft room/office. Still miss real working light and a few pieces to put some need to have infront of me stuff on the wall, things that make it work smoothly you know. Slowly getting there.

In the meanwhile I wish you a wonderful week and I see you back here at Tuesday if not before. Still have a few unshown pieces from before the summer, but I might need them later on. LoL

Sketch challenge

Hi you all! A bit late with my post today. Still in heavy pain when it comes to my shoulder and an lovely ear infection to match it ut. How typical is that when we finally have a few nice days off sunshine?

Anyway, have to keep it sweet and short today. We have a second week left of our sketch challenge over at AUD sentiments. Do pop over an have a look what the fabby team have been up to. You can flip the sketch if you want to, just make sure that we can see the original sketch in your design.

Sponsoring the challenge is  Lacy Sunshine Stamps &  Stitchy Bear Digital Stamps for sponsoring this challenge!  They have provided images for our DT to showcase for your inspiration and they are providing the prizes for the challenge winners.

And then my card where I have used a Lacy Sunshine stamp called Rory - Maybe my prince. For those who know me this must be a very strange image image I am using. There isn't many things I dislike more than frogs, and I picked an image with that animal. Really strange. LoL Challenge myself, well, actually I it was the colouring challenge I as going for and there it happend to be a frog so two challenges in one. LoL

It's coloured with my Letraset Markers and some prisma pencils as I was in a different kind of pink scale this time. A bit harder as I am not used to it, still it went well with the dps from LOTV. This pad is called Always and Forever. Really lovely pad that will fit well for many card designs. I have also used the Magnolia doo hicky dies from the last club kit. I love the wheat die cut. You don't see as much of it here as I have cut it in black and covered most, but its wonderful as well as the little leafs. Theres is also a pumpkin swirl that is quite lovely but really covered up. Just poping throw here and there.

As decorations as you see, I have used tons of flowers, the circle element is represented by doily that got a bit covered up. Some blingstones and those popular dots is also used. Had a few of those dots left over from another project. Got those from Annelie by the way. The sentiment says "Congrats" in Swedish.

Summerlovin

Good afternoon! Hope you're having a good week so far and that the sun is shining whereever you are. Sun is working it's magic here and puts me in a painful state. Well, as it seems not only the sun as I have except the painful shoulder I have some kind of earinfection going on. Just like my partner and youngest one have. How fun!

Well, even if I couldn't make any card for this challenge I thought I could give it a try to at least post the challenge info for it. My shoulder made it impossible to do my colouring, like a five year old or something like that..., so no card for me today.

But the theme is "summerlovin" so something loveable like wedding anniversary, engagement etc is the theme of the week. Nice and easy for us all, don't you think? Sponsoring this challenge is Polkadoodles with this lovely prize.

So do come and play with us, I will at least be able to leave you some love. It might take a day or two before my shoulder is ok again, but I get there...
