Christmas Cheer and Happy New Year!

Morning and hello!
Happy New Year! I wish you all the best for the New Year of 2022. I don't have much energy today, but I still wanted to get this card up.

It says Merry Christmas in Swedish but inside is wishes for a happy New Year as well. I have made a bunch of cards in this style for this years Christmas / New Year cards for my pen friends. They are a bit smaller and  is ok with a normal handwritten letter . It has been a lot of fun to make these cards. I still have a bunch of images left to make more cards in this style.

Anyway, it's time for me to go and take a bath before my parents comes over to have New Year's dinner with us and after that probably some board games. Just as our tradition takes us.

Wish you all a wonderful New Year with lots of joy and happiness coming your way. All the best for 2022!

With love n hugs

Marie

Just for Fun 54-21

Morning and hello!
This card was supposed to be a non Christmas card but I didn't manage to take a photo of my new card. However this is better than nothing, right?

This card is really tiny, around 7 cm * 5 cm or something like that. Really small and perfect to put in an envelope together with a letter to one of my penfriends. :)

The card is all Lawn Fawn, except for the cardstock. I have mixed a few sets together and used the fabby designer papers with silver details. I just love it but wish I had bought the 6*6 paper pad instead so that the print would have been a bit smaller. But it can't be perfect every time, can it ?

Anyway, I hope you like my mini creation and find some inspiration form it. Take good care and do something that makes you happy!

Love n hugs

Christmas Cheer 21-21

Morning and hello!
The last Christmas card for this year I believe. And this image is from the Paper Shelter. I coloured it a long time ago and made it into a card a while ago. I am thinking that the designer papers are either Carta Bella or maybe Echo Park.

I managed to get the photo a bit light but I have no energy left to fix it up. I hope that you all have had a lovely Christmas and have been able to spend some time with family and one or two friends.

Take care everyone! See you soon again!

Love n hugs

Christmas Cheer 20-21

Happy Christmas to you all!
Another day another Christmas card for you all to take inspiration from. I know we are in the middle of Christmas right now but there is more Christmases coming our way. At least I hope so.

I have been playing with some old stamps from Sugar Nellie. I think they are from around 2012 or something like that. Oldie but a goodie right? I love the style of this Santa and I have paired him up with some designer papers from Maja Design, Happy Christmas paper pad.

Some dies from Magnolia (trees and the fence), from Gummiapan: the sentiment saying Merry Christmas in Swedish. Snowflake die from unknown brand. Some little balls of cotton or something simular to that makes my little snowball light. I have also used some dark red ribbon and some Nuvo Drops in green to finish the whole thing up. My trees are decorated with some glitter snow from Aileens.

Well, this is all from me for today. I hope you have a wonderful Christmas!

Take care and do something for yourself!

Christmas Cheer 19-21

Morning and hello!
I have been busy colouring away with my distress inks lately and here is my latest Christmas card. I think that the image is from last year or the year before. It's a lovely image and great fun to colour.

This time have I used some designer papers from  Carta Bella called Farmhouse Christmas. It's a wonderful paper pad with lovely patterns.

I have used a bunch of layers for this card as well. I used the little tags that was on one of the papers and made an embellishment for the card with them. It was  a great embellishment for this card design and to finish it all of did I used some Nuvo Drops in postbox red.

Take good care and do something that makes you happy!

Christmas Cheer 18-21

Morning and hello!
Another Magnolia card from me to you! I have coloured with distress ink this time. And once again have I used Maja Design papers to make my card. It is probably from the paper pad Joyous Christmas but I am not totally sure of it.

I have used some silver ribbon and some wooden snow flakes to decorate my card. I have also used some gemstones to give the card a bit of bling. I have also used some of my flower stash to give some pretty finish to my card. I used some white acrylic paint on my flowers for that frosty feeling that we all wish for when it comes to Christmas.

Take good care and do something that makes you happy!

Christmas Cheer 17-21

Morning and hello!
Only two days before the big day. I still have a few Christmas cards to show you here on my blog. I have kind of already started on next years Christmas cards by now.

This time have I used an older image from Magnolia Sweden and paired the image with a wonderful paper pad from Honey Bee Stamps. I have used a whole bunch of layers for this card.

I have dug out some pearl string from my stash and used as decoration on this card. My dear border die from Magnolia is also used again. It's such lovely die that gives some lovely details to the card. It was perfect match it up with the pearl string.

Anyway, this is all from me for today. Take good care and do something that makes you happy!

Christmas Cheer 15-21

 Morning and hello!
It is a lovely morning and Christmas is getting closer and closer each day. Only four more days until we have our main celebration here in Sweden. And I keep making Christmas cards for the pure joy of it.

I have used another image from hÄnglar and Wings. It's the boy from the set called Kramtomtar. Isn't he the sweetest? I have coloured with Promarkers and paired the image with designer papers from Papermania. The pad is called Merriest Christmas.

The lace border is made with a die from Magnolia. The super cute gifts are made with a die from Gummiapan. It's amazing that something that small can give such perfect details. :)

Take good care and do something that makes you happy!

Christmas Cheer 14-21

Morning and hello!
Here comes a cheerful Christmas card from me. A totally adorable image from Polkadoodles. I just love the image, it's so sweet! I have coloured with my Promarkers for this card and had lots of fun doing that.

My designer paper are from Pink Fresh Studio, last year's collection in lovely colours. I have dug out some old enamel dots and shapes from Marianne Design to decorate the card with. And of course have I also used some Nuvo Drops. I love how the colours was a perfect match even if it's "only" a bunch of left overs from different brands.

Anyway, sweet and short today. I wish you a great day and do take some time and do something that makes you happy!

Christmas Cheer 13-21

Morning and hello!
I am working on my Christmas cards and I love it. It's so my favourite cards to create. You can do them as detailed as you wish or as clean and simple you wish and everything in between! This is an image from Lili of the Valley. I don't remember the name but it is really cute and it was really nice to be able to colour an image from LOTV. They are a bit harder for me to colour for some reason but now when they are digital I can make them a bit larger than the rubber stamp versions that I have many, many of. They are lovely with a vintage look. Anyway, this little one makes me smile.

I have used a paper pad from Maja Design, one of the paper collections from last year called Traditional Christmas. The design is simple and quite clean. I think it will be a good card for my youngest nephew for his first Christmas. I think however that I will add a few more snow flakes to the card before I send it away. As always have I used a few different Nuvo Drop colours. The sentiment stamp is from Gummiapan. Gemstones finish the image off in the Santa hat!

Take good care and do something that makes you happy!

Morning and hello!
Another day with a new Christmas card to show. This time is my image from hÄnglar and Wings again. I know but I am really enjoying using these images. This one is coloured with Promarkers and Spectrum Noir markers.

I have used some designer papers from Maja Design, but I don't remember which pad this is from. I have also used a border die from Magnolia again. Some green ribbon with a bow. Some wooden snow flakes and of course some flowers with a bit of white pain to give some snow feel to my card.

Hope you like what you see! Take good care and do something that makes you happy!

Christmas Cheer 12-21

Morning and hello!
December is here and now is it time to show mostly Christmas cards here on my blog. This is a stamped image coloured with promarkers and some white ink and ice drops from Nuvo. I have made the night a bit more live by adding some splatters representing snow flakes. I also added a few stars.

I have used designer papers from Magnolia, Sweden. For some reason I find the designer papers from Magnolia a bit hard to use but as this image is so large they was a good match. The white dots are chalk drops from Nuvo. They have the look of snow. I love them but they take some time to dry.

Anyway, a short post today. Have a good day and please do take some time to do something that you enjoy.

Christmas Critters over at Passion for Markers

Morning and hello!
It's that time of the week again, when a new challenge starts over at Passion for Markers. This week do we wish to see "Christmas Critters". A nice and charming theme, don't you agree?

This week's challenge is sponsored by Clearly Besotted Stamps. They offer a gift voucher worth £15 for one lucky winner.

I have not used a sponsor image this time as I have a wee bit of struggle with my medications and never know how I will feel. So here comes some Christmas Critters from Lawn Fawns Penguin Party. A super lovely stamp set.

I made two cards for this challenge as they are fast to colour and and I need the cards for my pen friends around the world. I have taken plenty of inspiration for my cards from Carrie Rhoades fantastic YouTube channel.

I have used a bunch of dies from Lawn Fawn and a few from PY Hobby as well. Distress Oxide is used for the back ground and some watered gesso for the snow splattered around my card.

For this last card have I also used a wonderful die making a  starfilled sky. I have had it for some years in my stash but never used it. I am so happy that I dug it out and actually used it. It gives a lovely detail to the card.

I had so much fun creating this card and now is it up to you to take some time and play along with us. You know you can use any markers for our challenges at this point.

Looking forward to see what you all comes up with for this challenge!

Christmas Cheer 11-21

Morning and hello!
We have now come to the end of month 11 of the year. Tomorrow is it December again and the lovely time of Christmas begins. How nice and cosy isn't that? After today will I show way more Christmas cards here on my blog. Have you started to decorate your home yet? Here is the stars up in the windows and that is the best part of the year when the Christmas lights are up and shining in the windows. Just love it!

I have been playing with my distress inks for this card. It's a Magnolia image. Pretty sure you see that. They do have a special look don't they? They were one of my first loves when it comes to stamped images. I still love them when it comes for Christmas images.

I have used up a bunch of designer papers from Dove craft if I am correct. It might be called Happy Christmas or something like that. Some Nuvo drops  finish the card off together with a mistletoe stamp from Magnolia as well. The sentiment stamp is from BildmÃ¥larna.

Take good care and do something that makes you happy!

Just for Fun 53-21

Morning and hello!
I have another card for you this week. This is also made with a hÄnglar and Wings image that I love. I happen to love sunflowers as well, just as my sister in law. So always when I see them I think of her. This image is the boy version of the image, there is a girl in the set as well. And I used her for a card a few weeks back. The set is called Höst i trädgÃ¥rden. Two large images and two sentiments in English.

The designer papers comes from Authentique and is called Accolade. It's a paper pad with brown and creamy colours which is perfect for male cards. There is some images with students finishing school with the typical American hat. Those ones will not come to use here but luckily for me there is a print on both sides so I will find use for all the papers.

I have used some layers for this card both with designer papers as well as brown cardstock (Java from Bazzil). To that have I only added some gemstones from Honey Bee Stamps. They have a whole bunch of different collections with these lovely gemstones. I have used them a lot during this fall.

Well this is all from me for today. I wish you a happy weekend and please do take some time to do something for just you!

Just for Fun 52-21

Morning and hello!
Time for a new card from my little crafting studio. This time have I be
en playing with a new stamp from hÄnglar and Wings. It's called Solrosor and also come with a flower without the stem. It's a really lovely set of stamps. Just love them!

For this card have I chosen to make a CAS card. Playing with my homemade circle stencil, just cut out the shape with a die in thick card stock or acetate and use as you do with a bought one. Works great for simple designs. I used some distress oxide ink but can't remember what colour it is. Have been using quite a few last weeks. I really should write down what I do, shouldn't I? ;)

Anyway, some fussy cutting of the image and raised the flower part with foam dots and glued the stem straight on the card. Cut a golden frame for the image and die cut the sentiment saying "Kram" (= hugs) about two times one in golden cardstock and one in foam from my stash. A bit hard to glue together with the thin end of the sentiment but it worked out OK. Some watered down gesso is used for some white splatter.

It's the first time in a very long time I am happy with a CAS creation and I hope you like it too.

Take good care and do something that makes you happy!

Just for fun 51-21

Morning and hello!
I am back on track with my fall cards. I have used a Bugaboo image and paired it up with some Honey Bee Stamps designer paper pad called Summer stems. I have used a some off cuts from other projects and I have made a smaller slim line card.

I have cut the image in three pieces and used some foam tape to raise the image from the card. I also decided to put the pieces in a wonky way. To tie it all together did I use some golden stickle to draw some golden lines to tie the colours together. Even if the card isn't straight or perfect I love how it turned out. The colours are wonderful together. :)

Anyway, take some time to do something for you, that makes you happy!

Anything Christmas over at Passion for Markers

                          Morning and hello!
Back for a PFM post again. It has already been two weeks since last and during this time have all four of us in the family got a visit from Covid-19, with and without vaccine. But now are finally some energy coming back to me. Just wishing that it won't take forever before I can feel different tastes again.

Anyway, back to my card for this weeks challenge which is set to "Anything Christmas" and we have a sponsor from Leann's World 101. They offer one lucky winner two digis of winners choice.

For my card have I used another image from hÄnglar and Wings. It's from the set called Grantomtar. It's a set with two persons, a tree, a star and a sentiment in English. I have coloured with my Promarkers this time and paired my image up with the new paper pad from Maja Design. It's called Happy Christmas and have some lovely designer papers in lovely brown, green and red.

To decorate my card have I used a few trees made with a die from Magnolia, a metal snowflake from PY Hobby, some ribbon in a dark lovely red and some buttons in the same lovely red colour. One part of the border is raised on foam dots to give a little dimension on the card. The stamps I have used to the left is a part of the die cut paper in the pad. I just cut away the part that makes them look like stamps. To finish it all up have I used some gem stones from Honey Bee Stamps in a light golden colour.

For this card have I also decorated the inside, however the photos I took to show it was so bad that I only mention here that the card is also decorated inside. I don't do that all the time but more often when it comes to Christmas cards.

Well, this is all from me for today. I wish you a lovely week and do come and play with us over at Passion for markers. We are now open to all kind of markers.

Take care and do take some time to do something you enjoy!

Just for fun 50-21

Morning and hello!
It's another day with a little creation that keeps me busy and helps me relax. I have used a Bugaboo image. I am so sad that the brand is not longer around. I loved to colour these images with their bold lines. Totally different from all other brands. I will miss them. Oh well, at least I had this one to play with. I have used some designer papers from Maja Design, Tropical garden I think the pad is called.

I used a off cut from a die to frame one of my layers. It gives a new dimension to the layer. I have also die cut some leaves and flowers in golden card stock and green of course. I used up some of the pearl swirls I have in my stash. Some golden drops from Nuvo is also used to give some fun details to my greeting card. I used another colour for the center of my flowers.

Ok, I am tired now so I finish up here. Take good care and do take some time to do something that makes you happy!

Just for fun 49-21

Morning and hello!
I am back again with a Just for fun card. This one is also one I have made of a bunch of left overs from different brands. I am pretty sure that the pink one is from Pink Fresh Studio but that is also the only one I have the name of. I am not sure from where I have got the image. It might be an image from Tiddly ink or something like that. Not really sure and I can't find the image on my computer either. The card is only 12 x 12 cm, so a bit smaller than I normally make my cards.

As always the last months have I finished the card off with Nuvo Drops and a tied bow in a lovely light blue colour. It always feels good to use up some left overs from my stash.

Take good care and do take some time to do something that makes you happy!

Just for fun 48-21

Morning and hello!
It's time for a new creation from me, just made for the fun of it. Today have I used an image that I believe is from Sassy Sherryl, ages ago. I have saved this image for such a long time, years actually. So better late than never have I now used the image.

I know that I am totally off when it comes to what kind of card this is. It has summer written all over it, hasn't it? Even the paper pad is named something with summer if I remember correctly. The border is made from Lawn Fawn. And to finish the card of have I used some Nuvo Drops and a white gel pen.

Anyway, it was fun to create something. Take some time to do something that makes you happy!
