Morning and hello!

Hi there! I have been playing with this lovely sponsor image that I used for a challenge over at Passion for markers earlier this year. I had fun colouring it and wanted to use the image again. 

 I have been using an old paper pad from First Edition, but I don't have the front of the paper pad anymore and don't remember the name of it. The flowers are made of fabric and I have used some nail art butterflies as details for my card. 

It was fun to create this and have some happy time with colours and markers!

For my card have I used the lovely image called Bunny rabbit with spring carrots. Isn't it cute? I adore it and had fun working with the image. I have coloured with my promarkers and it became really colourful this that is my creation for this challenge. 

The image is perfect for an Easter card or a spring birthday. I have been digging in my stash for some designer papers and found these from First edition. I didn't have the cover with the name on it but I know that it is First Edition. It's fun to use the old stash. I do it quite often as I have too much stash and don't have any place for new stash. That means if I use up the old stuff can I bring in new things. 

I have used some gemstones, an old punch and some new flowers made in fabric, I have also used some butterflies that really is nail art, but I am not kind to my nails and use the tiny decorations for cards instead. I just love them. I did also put a little lady bug on the carrot where there was one drawn. A perfect fit!

Christmas over at Passion for Markers

 Morning and hello!

Hope you had a good start of the week and are ready for a new challenge over at Passion for Markers. This week's theme is set by me, and I have chosen the theme of "Christmas". It will soon be here and in two weeks will "my" window cleaner come to prep my windows for the winter and Christmas. Time flies doesn't it?

For my card have I used the lovely image called Santa Snowman Gift. It's so cute and fun to colour. Highly recommend their images. They are totally adorable! I have coloured with a mix of copic markers and spectrum noir markers. It is lots of fun to colour these modern traditional mixed look images. There is plenty in the Polkadoodles store. 

I have used a paper pad from Maja Design paper pad called Woodland Christmas from Maja Designs. It is from last year's Christmas release. It's a lovely paper pad with lovely patterns. I have used some gemstone to decorate the image as well as the snowflakes and to that have I added some paper flowers and a snowflake charm. The border die is from Lawn Fawn. I just love their border dies. They are amazing and perfect in size.

Spring colours over at Passion for Markers

Morning and hello to you all! 

Hope you all have had a good start of your day and that you are ready for a new challenge over at Passion for markers? Our challenge this week have the theme set to "Spring colours", and I for sure would love to have some spring now. It's so cold during the evenings and I keep freezing the whole time.

Well then, for my card have I used the sweet image called Butterfly flowerpots. You find the lovely image in Polka Doodles store. I have coloured with copic markers and spectrum noir markers. After having tried to colour this lovely image a while ago and totally fail it due to my hands acting up again but the other day did I manage to colour it fairly ok at least. 

I am so pleased that I chose to colour one of the pots in black, as I have black flowerpots myself, it doesn't always have to be a terracotta pot. :) My designer papers are a mix of Echo Park papers, paper pads that is almost gone. I have mixed them up and also have some Easter papers that is almost gone. A last try to use them a few more times even it it's just scraps left of them. No waste here!

The only decorations on this card is a sweet die cut border from Lawn Fawn and some pearls made by Nuvo Drops in white. There is so many colours going on in this creation so I decided to keep it to a minimum.

Christmas Cheers 17-23

Morning and hello!

Time for a bit of a cozy Christmas. We are soon there, only around 2 more months left now. Wasn't it Christmas the other week? This year have passed by so totally crazy fast. I guess it's best to hold on and follow the flow. 

 I have played with an image from hÄnglar and Wings again. This little cutie is found in the set called Tomtenissar. It has two lovely images and, two sentiments and two different berries and Leafs. It's one of my favorite Christmas stamp sets. Supersweet! And fun to color.

I have dug into my stash of Echo Park paper pads. These papers are from the paper pad called Lumber Jack Christmas. Lovely. It might be a mix of papers as well as I can't find one of them in the pack. Oh well, it became a card of it, and I love how it become and I have also used a bit of well paper and some cheese cloth. I have also used some pearls for decorations as well.

Go wild! Passion for markers

Morning and hello!

Hi! I am back again, finally! My computer gave up on my a few weeks back but now have I gotten a new one and are on to things again, still I miss my old laptop, but I will start to love this one as well. It might just take some time as it becomes really warm, fast. I am not fond of that at all.

Back to cardmaking, we have a new challenge up for you today over at PFM where we have the theme of "GO WILD!" That means we want to see any kind of wild animals, wild flowers, wild acting people/pets/animals in your images.

I have used the image called Earlie Hedgehog with balloon for my card this week. I had a bit of trouble coloring this one. I am not used to color fur. I avoid that as it frustrates me. This time was I clever enough to change brand of what markers I colored with, well after two huge fails. With the help from the markers, I have from Spectrum Noir and Copic did I manage to make something that isn't a totally disaster at least.

I picked up some of my left overs or scraps from way back and used them to make this card. I had a period when I used a lot of primary colors, and this was perfect for this card.

Christmas Cheer 14-21

Morning and hello!

Here comes a cheerful Christmas card from me. A totally adorable image from Polkadoodles. I just love the image, it's so sweet! I have coloured with my Promarkers for this card and had lots of fun doing that. 

My designer paper are from Pink Fresh Studio, last year's collection in lovely colours. I have dug out some old enamel dots and shapes from Marianne Design to decorate the card with. And of course have I also used some Nuvo Drops. I love how the colours was a perfect match even if it's "only" a bunch of left overs from different brands.

Anyway, sweet and short today. I wish you a great day and do take some time and do something that makes you happy!

Morning and hello!

Time for a new little card just for the fun of it. This is an image from Polka Doodles and their Honey Pie series. Is't she cute?

 I have coloured with my Promarkers and a glitter pen from Spectrum Noir. It's mega sparkle when you use these markers. My designer papers are from Echo Park and some left overs from other cards. I think that they are from Echo Park as well. The pearls are Nuvo Drops in a golden colour. Ribbon and flowers are from my stash.

Just for fun 15-2021

Morning and hello!

I have been playing with markers and paper again, just because I never grow too old to enjoy colouring and crafting. 

 This time have I played with an image from Honeypie series. They are from Polka Doodles and are really cute. To be there is a bit too big parts to colour without details but I guess I will learn to master that if I keep practising. The hair is one of the hard places to colour for me. Still all the images are super cute and I have to give them a try. 

She is paired up with a paper pad from First Edition. I don't have the front of the pad anymore so I can't help you with the name of it. However it is really old. I thought I would try to use up some of the papers before I decide if I should keep them or not. I am not to impressed by glitter and sparkle on the papers and half of the pad has that. Anyway, creating is fun and I have had a good time creating this card. I have also used up some old prima flowers and some brads as well. A few Nuvo Drops finish this card off together with the ribbon.

Just for fun 40

Morning and hello!

I am at it again and this time have I used a lovely image from Polka Doodles. I have lost a bunch of files so I don't remember what it's called. It is from the summer of 2019, that is as much as I remember for this lovely kit. I bought it all. 

The paper pad is one that I don't have the brand or name of. All I know is that it's with kittens on it and it's themed for cats. I think I have covered that part pretty well have I not? All material for this creation is from my stash that is growing each week as it feels. 

Speaking of kittens, one of my cats is here now and wants his daily cuddle. That means hanging of my shoulder while I massage his back and chest.

A card just for the fun of it

Morning and hello!

Here comes a new card made by MI just for the fun of it. I have used a fabby image from Polkadoodles. Sorry I don't have the name of the image in my head at the moment, but I bought a full set of images and cut files and tons of other fun thing in the same set with a beach theme. Now I just need a cutting mashine.

Anyway, the image is really cute and I love it to bits even if I had some trouble colouring the hair as it has tons of little details and I have really limitied light where I do most of my crafting at the moment. I have used some glossy accecents for the swimming glasses and now it as also cracked so they look smashing for this card. LoL The gloss is put around the whole card to make some water effects both here and there.

The image is paired up with what I think is a old paper pade from maybe Echo Park. It's almost finished by now and only small pieces left of the paper pad. Always good to use up some old stuff because the papers are really, really old.

My cards these days are pretty clean and simple because I have a bunch of stash beside my bed that I use to create. And I am too lazy to go and get more stuff, besides that I don't have the room for more of it. It's a tiny space. I have a whole room with colour mediums, paper and decorations still I prefere to create in my bed when I can't sleep. Oh well, it probably changes but for now it's how I do it. On the good side is that I use up stuff that I probably shouldn't have used up in a million years this way.

Well then, enjoy the rest of the day and do something that makes you happy!
