Embellish it! over at Passion for markers

 Morning and hello!
It's time for a new challenge over at Passion for Markers and this week am I the host of the challenge. I have chosen the theme of "Embellish it!" It would be nice to see you decorate your creations from time to time. And as you understand this week do we focus on that. It don't have to be much but a little here and there.

Our sponsor this week is Star Jam Lines which is offering one lucky winner a prize of  2 digi images of their choice (the Etsy store is currently closed but Olya will liaise with the winner to sort out choosing their images).

I have used a sponsor image called Gnome Christmas Decoration. I have not used the main image as my hands refuse to work with me at this point. Therefore I used the coordination image that just has a few Christmas decorations on it. Easier for me to colour.

I have used a few different embellishments for this card: some die cuts (a perfect embellishment), some gemstones, pearls, a bow and glitter card to that as well. Lots going on maybe a little too much but some days are more others less. :)

I have coloured with copic markers this time, to lazy to go downstairs to get my promarkers. :) I have also used an old paper pack from Dove craft that I have had in my stash forever, Back to Basic Christmas I believe.

Anyway, I hope that you play along with us over at PFM this week and I look forward to visit your blogs.

Anything goes over Passion for Markers

 Morning and hello!
I am back after a little break due to pain. Still not fit but I can at least write my post this week. Our challenge this week over at PFM is "Anything goes".

Our sponsor this week is UNIKO stams  which is offering one lucky winner a stamp set of their choice.

For my card have I used an old Whimsy stamp coloured with promarkers and the papers are from Crafters Companion just as the white embossed panel and DCWV if I'm not totally off. One pad is new and the other is superold.  I have used a bunch of layers but I printed my image a bit too large so it cover a lot of my card. I have exchanged the printed snowballs with "real" ones. They are covered in glitter in silver and gold, some with white glitter. Some stickers in silver makes the snow fall over the little friends.

Well, this is all from me for today. Sweet and short as I keep having trouble with my joints.

Love n hugs,
Marie

Just 4 Fun 26-22

 Morning and hello!
I am back with a little creation here on my blog again. I don't have as many posts this year as I had last year. I have made more cards than I show here but I have very little time on the computer this year to see if I can make my fingers and hands to heal. It has not helped so far but it saves me some pain.

This card is made with my favourite brand of stamps and one of my fave brands of designer papers. This one comes from the pack of Bohemian Harmony. I am now waiting for the Christmas news. I love a good Christmas pack of papers. I have used some vintage photo distress ink from Rangers. I have coloured with my distress reinkers for a change. An old Martha Stewart punch is also used. Some nuvo drops finish my card off.

Well, this is all for today. Have a good day and do something that makes you happy today!

Christmas over at Passion for Markers

 Morning and hello!
Another week have passed and it's time for Team 1 to share inspiration for a new challenge over at Passion for Markers. This week's theme is set to "CHRISTMAS". It's not that long before we December here again and by then at least I need to have a huge pile of cards ready. I have never enough of cards for Christmas. :)

This week are we sponsored by the lovely people over at Lili of the Valley. They offer one lucky winner four digis of winner's choice. Thank you so much for that!

For my card then, for once have I used a sponsor image. I need images that is easy to colour at this point and this little birdy one was perfect even if I printed it a little larger than I normally do. I have coloured with my promarkers and coloured very simple. After putting colours to the birds an their cracker did I dig out a very old paper pad from WRMK called silver and gold. The paper pad was a great match to the coloured image.

I have used some ribbons to decorate the card. I used two in the same colour of green and then added a bow under the image. If I feel like it can I put a sentiment over the image later on when I know for who the card will be sent too. I have also used up some of my dots, not enamel or pearls or gems, just dots in a mat colour of red that I love. It was a great match to the paper and image.

I look forward to come and visit your blog and see what you come up with for this challenge. I would love to get some inspiration for my Christmas cards. Take some time and create something!

Things with wings over at PFM

 Morning and hello!
I am back again with a new post for Passion for Markers. We have a new challenge up for you and the theme is set to "Things with wings". It's a nice and easy as a theme as you can come up with everything from litlle bees to birds, to angels etc.

Our sponsor this week is Color of Love which is offering one lucky winner a price of 3 digital images of winners choice. Thank you for sponsoring us!

For my card have I used an image from hÄnglar and Wings. My image is from the set called Uti det blå. A lovely set with a fabby sentiment and some clouds to that. Just love it!

I have coloured with my promarkers and paired my image up with some designer papers from Lawn Fawn, two of their rainbow collections.

I have kept my design very clean. My only decorations are the nuvo drops and some epoxy stickers from my stash in the shape of little stars. I did also use the fabby sentiment on the card with some masked die cutting for the sentiment..

I hope that you will play along with our challenge this week and I really look forward to come and visit you and see your fabby creations!

Take care and do something that makes you happy!

Spots or/and Stripes over at PFM

Moring and hello!
It's Tuesday again and I have a new card for our brand new challenge over at PFM. It's our birthday so both our fabby teams brings you inspiration for this challenge. Our theme is set to "Spots and or stripes". This should be a quite easy theme to follow as both spots and stripes are an easy pattern to use together with other ones. Goes well with flowers, hearts, wavy patterns etc. Nice and easy!

We have a bunch of sponsors for this challenge and you have to head over to our challenge blog to find out all the details. A big thank you to all of our sponsors!

I have once again used a mix of pattern papers. The black and white ones are from Honey Bee Stamps Back to Basic paper pad and the star paper is from Gummiapan. I love to use black and white together with red. It's a great combo in my mind.

My image is from... hÄnglar and Wings, are you surprised? I have such big collection of their stamps by now that I have more images not used compared to the ones I have used. And there is a whole bunch of images that I would love to add to my collection in the future. This guy comes from the stamp set called Pirater. I will show the other part of the stamp set in my next post.

I have used up a bunch of left overs for this card and that kind of made my design. I have coloured my image with Copic markers and some Promarkers as well. Lots of layers is used for this one. Some black and white twine from my stash and some wooden stars is also added to the mix. It was a lot of fun to create this card. Now is it your turn to create and join our fun challenge that has a bunch of prizes up for grabs as it is our Anniversary challenge.

Take some time and join the fun! For more information check out our challenge blog here.

Take care and take some time to have some fun!

In or on the sea over at Passion for Markers

Morning and hello!
It's Tuesday and time for a new fun challenge over at Passion for markers. This weeks theme is set to "In or on the sea". A little taste of the summer I hope you feel coming closer to you with this lovely theme.

Our sponsor this week is All Dressed Up which is offering one lucky winner 2 digis of their choice. How nice isn't that?

As I still have uncontrolled pain in my body, I have not used any sponsor image for this creation. I have dug into my stash of Lawn Fawn images and dies. Had a good play with the back ground with a little help from my Maine coon lady. She is always making sure that at least one paw get some colour on it. This time blue ink form Rangers. The size of the card is a mini slime line card, 6X3".

I have mixed and matched different stamp sets to create this little scenery of the sea. It was good fun and I am glad that I hade coloured images ready to use at this card. To make the card pop a little more have I used some glitter glue on the waves and some other details, cause the sea is always glittery and shimmering right?

Anyway, we hope that many of you will come and join our challenge. All alco markers are allowed you know!

Take good care and have a great week!

Animal Magic over at PFM

Morning and hello!
Time for a new challenge over at PFM and the theme of the week is set to "Animal Magic" Anything with an animal is allowed.

We are sponsored by the lovely people over at Di's Digistamps which is offering a $6 voucher to use in their store.

I was not sure that I would be able to take part in this challenge because of all my trouble with my body. So I have used an old Tina Wenke stamp from my stash.

I have coloured with a m,ix of different brands of alcoholic markers and used papers from Echo Park. I think that it is a mix from Welcome spring and Welcome Easter. A charm, some flowers, glitter glue and Nuvo drops in two different colours finish the card off together with some bakers twine in green and white.

I hope that you will all join us over at the PFM blog and play along with us this week. I look forward to see all your creations!

Christmas cheer 2-22

Morning and hello!
Time for February's Christmas Cheer. This image I believe is from Bugaboo but I am not sure. I have had it printed for a while now, and coloured too. It's a sweet image that is nice to colour as well.

I have paired my image with a few die cuts from Crealies (the rectangle) and the hearts are probably from Gummiapan. The designer papers are from Lawn Fawn. It's a really simple card but a nice to create. The sentiment is by the way from hÄnglar and Wings. I have used Altenew ink for that one.

Take good care and do something that makes you happy!

It's time for a new challenge over at Passion for Markers and this week's theme is set to "Things with wings"!

Our sponsor this week is Uniko Stamps who offer one lucky winner a stamp set from their store. Stamp set needs to be in stock.

For my card have I used another lovely image from hÄnglar and Wings. It's one of two super cute angels from the set called Konstflyg. It's a totally adorable set with fantastic sentiment "We are all winging it. That's what angels do!" Isn't that totally charming?

I have coloured with copics and promarkers as I normally do now days. I have paired my angel with some designer papers from Echo Park Welcome spring and Welcome Easter.

I have kept my card fairly simple as I wanted the sentiment and image to take focus on this card. I have used a few enamel shapes and some Nuvo drops to that. A few layers of designer papers and cardstock finish the card off. I hope you like it!

Do take some time to and play along with this weeks challenge. We are open to all alcoholic markers!

Just 4 Fun 10-22

Morning and hello!
I am back again with a little creation I have made just because it's such joy to colour with markers. This image did I see on FB a while ago and I realized that I probably had it on my computer. And I did so here is my first version of a card with this image. I have another version ready to colours and we'll see when I have that ready to make into a card.

Anyway, the paper pad used for this card is a Carta Bella paper pack called Farmhouse Market. Filled with lovely colours that makes me happy. Used up another bunch of flowers from my stash in a wild mix of colours and shapes. Butterflies made with a Marianne or Joy die. Probably from Marianne... The centers of the butterflies are made with Nuvo Drops and in the corners have I used up yet another batch of enamel dots that I have tried to use up the last weeks.

Ok then, I guess this is all from me for today. I plan to spend the weekend in front of the TV watching the final days of the Olympic games. I am sure there is something that can entertain me when it comes to the sports world.

With a sentiment over at Passion for Markers

Morning and hello!
Time for a new challenge over at PFM and it's my time to host. I have chosen the simple theme of "Add a sentiment". It should be nice and easy to play along with us this week, right?

We are sponsored by Crafty Sentiments Design which is offering 3 digis for one lucky winner! Thank you so much for that CSD!

For my card have I used Harriet with Ragga and coloured her with Copics and Promarkers. I have changed my colouring paper and it makes my colouring look kind of sloppy when I photograph it, it is not as bad IRL, I promise. But it is a bit frustrating as it is a great paper to colour on. I totally love it, but not the way it photograph. Have to make a decision about how I will continue with this. Or learn how to photograph for real...

I have mixed a couple of Spring / Easter paper pads from Echo Park to make the colours match my colouring. I have been digging in my old stash and found some old butterfly gems and some roses to decorate the card. A light blue ribbon finish my card off together with a bunch of different colours of Nuvo Drops.

Ok then, hope you will come and play with us. We are open to all alcohol markers now, not only Promarkers.

Take care and do something that makes you happy!

Embossing dry or heat over at Passion for Markers

Morning and hello!
Well, it's not morning any longer, it is later afternoon. My internet connection has been acting up since last evening so a late post today.

It's time for team 1 to host this week's challenge which is set to Embossing heat or dry. It should be a fairly simple challenge for you all out there. You know that all alcohol markers are fine in our challenges now, don't you?

We are sponsored this week by Sheepski Designs which offers two digis to our winner this week. Thank you so much for that!

For my card this week have I used the image called Tulips. Each year when the tulips comes to the flower shops and in the garden, I think about my granny who loved these flowers. I love them too, may be because she did?

I have only used a strip of patterned paper for this card. It's from the paper pad Basics from American Crafts. The die cuts are from Crealies and PY Hobby. The embossing is made with a stylus tool and my score board. I didn't have any embossing plate that fitted my design and my heat embossing was not kind too me. It looked really messy so this solution came up and I really love the look of it. Nice, clean and adding detail in nice calm way.

Well, this is all from me for today. Time to rest a bit again before the hand ball game starts late this evening. A derby game: Sweden - Norway!

Take care and do something for you!

Going Dotty over at Passion for Markers

Morning and hello!
It's time for a new challenge over at Passion For Markers. This week's theme is set to "Going Dotty". That means we want to see all kind of spots and dots on your creation this week.

Our sponsor this week is the Paper Shelter which offer a lovely prize of 3 digis to one lucky winner.

I have used an image from my big library of TPS images. This is a part of an image where the girl is riding a scoter. But I just wanted the head of this image. I have used it to decorate a note book with craft paper. I am not sure that I will keep it or give it away... I couldn't help myself and put a bow on the front even if I know that it will be hard to make it stay there.

I think that I will add a few Nuvo drops in black on the book as well. I have already messed up one note book so I decided to wait with adding them to this one.

Sorry for the short post today. I am really tired and have tons of pain in my body today as the weather keeps changing from warm to cold every second hour kind of...

Just 4 Fun 2-22

Morning and hello!
This post is a few days late, but better late than never. This is an image from Bugaboo which I really love. I do miss them out there in the digi world.

This time have I coloured with my Promarkers and the designer papers are from Maja Design, Enjoying the outdoors. It was perfect with the colours I have used to colour my image.

Well this is short and sweet and I will be back with a new post tomorrow. Team 1 over at PFM shares their first challenge of 2022. But for now will I end here!

Just 4 Fun 1-22

Morning and hello!
We are starting the new year with yet another hÄnglar and Wing card. This time with the cute baker girl from the set called Bagare. I just love that set it's so fun to work with.

I have been messing with my camera and the settings are a bit off. Way too much red on this one, but practise makes perfect. I keep working on it and will learn how to deal with that camera in a more effective way.

The designer papers are from a pad called Harvest from Pebbles. A nice pad with a bit of kitchen theme in it. It works totally fine for this kind of images. To decorate have I used some left over enamel dots as well as a piece of  left over ribbon in blue. It was a nice time to work on this card and it always gives me peace when I work with something creative.

This is all from me for today. I wish you a lovely day and do something just for you!

Christmas Cheer 16-21

Morning and hello!
Another day with a new Christmas card to show. This time is my image from hÄnglar and Wings again. I know but I am really enjoying using these images. This one is coloured with Promarkers and Spectrum Noir markers.

I have used some designer papers from Maja Design, but I don't remember which pad this is from. I have also used a border die from Magnolia again. Some green ribbon with a bow. Some wooden snow flakes and of course some flowers with a bit of white pain to give some snow feel to my card.

Hope you like what you see! Take good care and do something that makes you happy!

Christmas Cheer 12-21

Morning and hello!
December is here and now is it time to show mostly Christmas cards here on my blog. This is a stamped image coloured with promarkers and some white ink and ice drops from Nuvo. I have made the night a bit more live by adding some splatters representing snow flakes. I also added a few stars.

I have used designer papers from Magnolia, Sweden. For some reason I find the designer papers from Magnolia a bit hard to use but as this image is so large they was a good match. The white dots are chalk drops from Nuvo. They have the look of snow. I love them but they take some time to dry.

Anyway, a short post today. Have a good day and please do take some time to do something that you enjoy.

Christmas Critters over at Passion for Markers

Morning and hello!
It's that time of the week again, when a new challenge starts over at Passion for Markers. This week do we wish to see "Christmas Critters". A nice and charming theme, don't you agree?

This week's challenge is sponsored by Clearly Besotted Stamps. They offer a gift voucher worth £15 for one lucky winner.

I have not used a sponsor image this time as I have a wee bit of struggle with my medications and never know how I will feel. So here comes some Christmas Critters from Lawn Fawns Penguin Party. A super lovely stamp set.

I made two cards for this challenge as they are fast to colour and and I need the cards for my pen friends around the world. I have taken plenty of inspiration for my cards from Carrie Rhoades fantastic YouTube channel.

I have used a bunch of dies from Lawn Fawn and a few from PY Hobby as well. Distress Oxide is used for the back ground and some watered gesso for the snow splattered around my card.

For this last card have I also used a wonderful die making a  starfilled sky. I have had it for some years in my stash but never used it. I am so happy that I dug it out and actually used it. It gives a lovely detail to the card.

I had so much fun creating this card and now is it up to you to take some time and play along with us. You know you can use any markers for our challenges at this point.

Looking forward to see what you all comes up with for this challenge!

Just for Fun 53-21

Morning and hello!
I have another card for you this week. This is also made with a hÄnglar and Wings image that I love. I happen to love sunflowers as well, just as my sister in law. So always when I see them I think of her. This image is the boy version of the image, there is a girl in the set as well. And I used her for a card a few weeks back. The set is called Höst i trädgården. Two large images and two sentiments in English.

The designer papers comes from Authentique and is called Accolade. It's a paper pad with brown and creamy colours which is perfect for male cards. There is some images with students finishing school with the typical American hat. Those ones will not come to use here but luckily for me there is a print on both sides so I will find use for all the papers.

I have used some layers for this card both with designer papers as well as brown cardstock (Java from Bazzil). To that have I only added some gemstones from Honey Bee Stamps. They have a whole bunch of different collections with these lovely gemstones. I have used them a lot during this fall.

Well this is all from me for today. I wish you a happy weekend and please do take some time to do something for just you!

Love n hugs
