Life by the sea side

For at least a year or so have I had a whole bunch of stamps from Joanna Sheen just laying around. I love them to bits but I have been in no mood to colour with distress inks or water colours. Well, that was until my kids asked for a whole bunch of cards for their teachers at kinder garten. I was foolish enough to start that tradition at Christmas time a few years back when I didn't like the fact that the kitchen staff and cleaning staff didn't get anything when all the teachers got a little gift from the kids. So now each semester ends with me making at least 10 cards for the kids favourite staff at kindergarten. Lucky for me that includes their teachers too. LoL

So here comes number 2 of the ten cards I made, and seven of the cards was made using the Joanna Sheen range of Faye Whittaker stamps. The 1st was the card shown for the challenge over at the Paper Shelter earlier this week.

This card is made with the FW stamp, coloured with distress inks and markers. Gosh! those markers are really handy when it comes to skin colours. Love them for that. When I have a few more of them I might even like them better. So easy to bring out in the garden to paint with, maybe not the garden... The designer papers are from Maja design Skärgårdsliv. They came out last year and eveyone got nuts about them. Me too, so much that I didn't use them even if I bought double sets of them.

I will enter this card to the following challenges
Card Makin Mamas - Red white and blue
Chocolate, Coffee and cards - Anything goes
Emergency Crafters - Summer Sun
Joanna Sheen Challenges - Summer Daze

Again?

Hi there! I know second day in a row. A new record, at least for this month. LoL I was talking yesterday about how many images that I have laying around my desk, and now I thought it was time to use some of it. Maybe not my best colouring but not the worst either. LoL I tend to sit in front of the TV when I colour and now either my eyes has gone bananas or the lamp has. I prefere to think it's the lamp. So my images doesn't always turn out the way I thought the should. Oh well, one of my kind doctors tells me that things doesn't has to be perfect all the time, so we could say that this is an exercise in that subject, OK?

And before I get lost in my writing here again; a big thank you to all of those that gives me support for my "war" against my anti depressives. It means the world to me that you care and it makes me even stronger, so a big thank you.

And now comes my card. It's made for the new challenge over at Passion for Promarkers with the theme ice cream and or cup cakes. I have them both on my card. Yeayh! The card is also put together with the help from the sketch over at Papertake Weekly. It also fits the anything goes challenge over at I love Promarkers. So there I will enter my card.

The images is from Magnolia and coloured with the Letraset family, natural as I take part in these challenges. I have used a few die cuts made with the lovely spellbinder dies and the decorations are pearls from Bunny Zoes craft. Designer papers are from Dove craft, a very old pack that I got at a good prize. It's perfect for the boys to bring on to the gals when there is a party. LoL

Until next time, take care and enjoy your life. You don't know how much you have of it!

Finally!

Hi and hello to all of you that still keeps track of me and my very quiet blog. I don't know if I have told you that I am trying to get of my anti depressive pills at this moment. It has made me so tired and so dizzy that I spend as much time as I can laying down. Now that hasn't been an alternative this week as I have had tons of meeting the last week. So here I am now, very tired and a horrible headache. The same one as I got when I started taking these pills. Now this will be my fith day without them and I feel very proud of myself being able to do this. I have been on these for the last four years and I really feel that I need to deal with the things that makes me feel bad instead of keep it "closed in" forever, or how I should put it. It's good to have them to fall back on, but you also need to deal with what is making you feel down, and this is were I am at this point. And even if I feel crappy, I feel really good. I feel good about what I am doing and I feel really happy that I finally feel my ups and downs. And now I should keep quiet. I do talk too much don't I? LoL

We have a new easy challenge up for you over at the Paper Shelter today. Theme being Punches and/or dies should make the challenge very easy to enter. I have used the very cute image called Spring in the heart.  Such a pretty image. This card was by the way for one of my kids' teachers. Hope she liked it.

The image was coloured with the Letraset Family that lives with me. Punches from EK Success. The glitter stones is from WOC, the designer papers are from, oh well, I forgotten that too. I might find out where it's from and then I put it up here, but as this is scheduled to go live in time, today hopefully. Because when I write this, it's soon time for the Midsommer Murders to start on the tellie. I have followed that series since it started and I own about 50 of the movies, it's a must see. LoL

There is some new super cool and very sweet images up in the store now. For example the Happy times Beach Boy. I just love him! Well, I adore the whole gang of the Happy time series. There is some new super cool and very sweet images up in the store now. For example the Happy times Beach Boy. I just love him! Well, I adore the whole gang of the Happy time series. They are super cute images for boys and such joy to colour. I have a whole bunch of them laying on my desk. The problem is that I enjoy the colouring more than put them together to cards. I guess we all have our favourite parts of card making.

As always we have our gift certificate worth $20 up for grabs for one lucky winner. That is if the winner has used a TPS image. Otherwise the prize will be three digis of your choice which is not bad that eiter, is it?

A flowery card

Hello dear friends and a little welcome to new followers. Thank you for being a part of my blogging life, I am very grateful and humble for it.

So a quicky one here as I am off to the foot doctor today again, was there last week too but this time we will hopefully solve the problem so I can use my foot a little better.

Anyway, that is not why we are here. Having recovered from last nights thunder storm I am now on top of things again. I have a brand new card to show you and for that I have used the lovely Tea cup mousie from Tina Wenke. The cutest one around. :) The whole thing is coloured with my Letraset family and they do the magic for me.

Flowers is a mix from Wild Orchid Crafts and I am Roses. Butterflies and dragon flies are from Althea's Mix that is no longer around. The designer papers are from the digi sets Just Plain and Spring Blossoms. Lovely colours to these papers. Yum!

So the card is also a part of our new challenge at Bearly Mine Challenges, and the theme for the week is FLOWERS. How fun and so easy. We want to see flowers on you papers, around your image, your image might be a flower. We don't mind as long as it has flowers on it. So I hope to see you there. Our sponsor this week is Fred, She Said that is offering a $20 voucher to spend in their store. Isn't that wonderful?

My favourite bear

Good morning and hello! Hope you are doing fine today and enjoy your day. Sitting here really tired and very slow in movements. It's one of those days, but with some mind exercises I plan to change that after I have gotten this done. LoL Hopefully something will change. I will try to make this one a short post. I have been so chatty the last time that I need to keep quiet for a while. LoL

This card of mine features one of my favourite bears. He is so cute or is it a she. Doesn't really matter, it's cute! I have had this one coloured forever and I have another bunch still laying around. You never know when you need them. I find them good for card for kids in all ages and with two fellows going to parties all the time, you need these.

I have kept my card very simple this time. Just some card candy and a net ribbon as decoration. I have used a Basic Grey pad for my designer papers Max and Whiskers if I don't remember wrong. I love the colours in this pad and to make the card pop a bit I choose to put the paw printed paper what feels like up side down to me. Artistic freedom, isn't that what they call it? As always when it comes to digis my Letraset family has done the work for me.

Now this card is made for our new challenge over at the Paper Shelter and we have an easy one for you this time; Anything goes. I hope to see many of you joining us this week. It's such joy to see what you create, especially with our Paper Shelter images. As always we have our $20 voucher up for grabs if you use our images on your creation and if you don't you are still in the draw for three digis of your choice.

Love n hugs
Marie

A new card

The kids are playing with a friend this early evening and leave me alone for some time. It feels good. It's some kind of Police game going on as it sounds. I have will try to figure out a way to let the kids have friends over when I am home alone. That has not been working too well before as I have felt so bad and been in so much pain. Now I picked them up from kindergarten and allowed them to take a friend with them home. It felt really good and I feel proud of myself taking on that challenge that comes up when three loud guys get together. LoL

It was kind of strange not having to make a Wendesday post two days ago. I missed it after one week. How strange! Does anyone need a team member for the middle day of the week? LoL Anyway, I might get some more cards made that I could enter other challenges with this way. I have thought that I should play along with the Passion for Promarkers challenges for ages and have not gotten the time for it and the same with Lili's little fairies. This week I mangage this. Woohoo!

Back to my card then, sorry I really don't know when to keep quiet. I have use some wonderful Eco Park papers that only has spots, dots and lines on them in bright wonderful colours and since the theme over at Passion for Promarkers is red white and blue I used these colours for my card. The image is from Lili of the Valley and is called Big Present. Isn't it cute? And I got a card made for next week's birthday marathon. Two parties in two days. And three cards need to be done. The kids knows how to keep you busy don't they. As almost always the image is coloured with my Letraset family. Just some stars used as decorations together with a star doily and a happy birthday in Swedish together with the kids name. The star border is made with a die from Magnolia, the star doily is from Spellbinders.

Love n hugs

A new great challenge

Hello dear friends and crafters! It's Tuesday morning again and I am back with a brand new card. Sorry! It has been a week again. I don't know where my time goes. Some to my work outs to make my leg better and the rest to get new energy by sleeping I guess. The allergy that comes from Pollen makes me so tired, as I wasn't before!? Ha Life is still funny isn't it?

But to be honest and we should be that have I been told, if was a long time since I felt this good, especially about myself. Not my health, about me, being me is totally fabby at this time. Never thought that some brain storming and rethinking could make me feel this good, and so fast.  At the moment I don't see any problems. Just problems that hasn't been solved yet. There is a big different. I leave you think about that and move on to my card. (And at the same time a very very big thank you to my oldest brother that hasn't given up on me, yet! Couldn't do this without you! You are first on my grateful list every day! After me of course! THANKS!)

Over at Bearly Mine Challenges this week we  want to see a charm on you card/project somewhere. Metal corners doesn't count, so dig out the before so very popular charms and add them to your creations. I have a whole bag with these little metal things so I could very easy had put this challenge up for every week of this year, and the next, and next... yes? You know what I mean? So now time to dig them out and use them. Can't wait to see what you have in your stash.

This weeks winner will receive a lovely prize from Kenny K. It's five digis of winners choice. Fabby isn't it? I could do with a few more of those fun "cartoonish" digi stamps. We never have enough have we? Well, at least not me.
