Make it Digital

Morning everyone! It's a new week and a new challenge over at Passion for Promarkers and yours truly is hosting it with the theme of  "Make it Digital" - in other words, use a digital image together with digital papers or use digital papers with a stamped image. That's up to you, or why not use both on your creation?

As always playing with us over at Passion for Promarkers means you need to use your Markers and aqua markers from Letraset to be in the prize draw. Sponsoring us this challenge is Polkadoodles. The prize is the image I have used on my card.

Polkadoodles - 5 winners each receiving a Dollie Daydream 'Glitz' digistamp

And now the card. lol Starting off with the image used from Polka doodles and I had no clue on what to do. Looked at her for a while and decided to go with a green and blue card. I love the markers special edition from 2012. They are so lovely and the blue ones especially. I would call it "åskblå" in Swedish, that would be something like thunder blue in English, that dark almost warm blue that the clouds get a really bad rainy day. It's kind of ironic that I love this colour as I suffer from Bronto fobi which is un natural fear of thunder. LoL

Anyway, back to the card colouring her and enjoying that I also knew what designer papers to use. Yepp, you are so right! It was time to dig out those lovely packs from Bildmålarna again. Well, no digging required, they are always on my desk. As there is a big peacock feather in her outfit I decided to go with blue and green for this card. I was a really good gal and used up some scraps of the dp's as well as some old gem stones from BoBunny. A metal corner, a pin, a butterfly charm and my usual flower cluster. A feather too of course to complement the one the digi, and that's why I used the metal pin the way I did, to pick up the look of the peacock one on the image.

Also added a bigger version of the gem stone to the image's hair piece to make it pop a bit. A border die from Memory box called pearl lace is also used. And as always some lovely pearls from Bunny Zoe's. Not to forget, I have had my fingers in the treasure box again, the one filled with lace that I got a little while from my teamie over at the Paper Shelter. Thanks again Gail! It's Christmas each time I open it up.

Punshes and dies over at the Paper Shelter

Morning everyone! Hope you are feeling a lot better than I am. It's so moist outside that my body is really in a bad mood, well pain. Once again, I am only feeling one half of my left arm and it's driving me nuts. It's like one half is a sleep and the other awake.

Well, I have managed to get a card done for the TPS challenge using the lovely image There's a fairy in my tea. Very cute and lovely. Great fun to colour too. :) It's done with my normal collection of Letraset markers.

The image is paired up with designer papers from Bildmålarna, isn't that a surprise? This time the papers are from the Soft collection. And as the theme of the week is "Punches and dies" I have used plenty of those too. There is also some lovely laces added to the card in a really soft pink colour that I got from my dear teamie Gail. Thanks again! A left over piece of pearl string in one corner, some post mark stamps is also used to fill some empty space around the image.

I am also having a little guest designer on my blog this week. My five year old son. After weeks of nagging to make a card with the "How U doing?" image, I finally caved in and let Philip have the image coloured ages ago. And this is what he came up with, using a lot of my left overs, pearls and card candy. I am so glad that I have saved some of the designer papers that comes with stamp magazines for the kids to use. It doesn't get that expensive to have them crafting then. LoL

As always we have a gift voucher worth $30 up for grabs if you play with any TPS product. Playing with another brand gives you the chance of winning three (3) digis of your choice.Don't miss out on this! You have plenty of stunning images to chose from and last night there was a new image released called "Hey Baby!" It's to die for, so do pop on over to the store to take a look at it, and maybe treat yourself to some goodies.

Ok, time to lay down and try to rest that bloody shoulder and arm of mine as I really want to get back to school tomorrow. So tired of this pain and numbness that is haunting me.

Have a heart

Good afternoon everyone. Sorry that my Passion for Promarkers post is late today. All of last week is a big blur in my mind as it has been very painful with tons of well, pain in my neck, left shoulder and left side of my back. I've been working hard to get back on track with my studies. Almost there now, but still in pain. At least I am not feeling like I've got the tummy flu anymore. No meds. this week, I have to handle the pain so that I can start over again. Hate being in pain, but then I have the fun of crafting even if it didn't work too well last week. I am actually quite proud that I manage to make a card for this week's lovely challenge over at PFP.

I have used the wonderful new paper pad from Bildmålarna called cute collection. Lovely pack of spring pastel papers. Will be using them quite a bit I think, just as the new sweet images. But this week however I have chosen to use an older image from the Paper Shelter. I'm sorry but I don't remember what it's called. But it's cute, right? Of cours as this is a Promarker challenge I have used my big bunch of Letraset markers to colour the image. It's a really simple card, but it's good to do those as well sometimes, cards that isn't drowning in embellishments and flowers like mine does from time to time.

This is what it says on the Passion for Promarker blog about the challenge

Onto this week’s challenge which has been set by Shelly from Team 1 and she has chosen “have a heart”.  Shelly would like you to include a heart or hearts on your project this week and as it’s one of the most romantic weeks of the year that shouldn’t be too difficult should it!!! 3 or more designer papers

Good afternoon lovely crafters! Sorry being late with my TPS post today. I'm in terrible pain at the moment and have to write one handed. Not that simple I must say. My neck and left shoulder is killing me today well and has for the whole week, just not as badly as it is now.

So better make this one short. We have a new challenge up for you over at the Paper Shelter. This week we want you to use three or more designer papers. A really good reason to use up all of those scraps that we all have laying around. I managed to use up a few of my od pieces of designer papers together with some new sheets, but no left overs this time. Yippie!

My image is called Victoria and just click her name and you come to the TPS store. I love the look of this sweet gal. I love the old fashion looking type of image she is mixed with some kind of modern twist. She is paired up with some lovely looking dp's from Maja Design, Vintage spring. Just love this pad, well and the rest of the Vintage collection. LoL

I coloured little Miss with my Letraset Marker family in pink and grey shades. I do love my grey markers, especially the warm greys but this time I went with some of the others. A whole flower gardern from WOC and I am Roses is also used. A joy butterfly border and a Magnolia Doo Hickey border is also used for some fancy cutting. To back the image I used an old piece of corrugated paper and covered it a little here and there with some paint. Also used that on the flowers for a shabby chic look. The butterfly border is also covered with a thin coat of glitter spread all over when the paint was still wet. A row of pink gem stones from Bo Bunny anchor it all. Also did some faux stitching around the panels with a white pen.

As always we have our great gift voucher up for grabs if you play with a TPS product. Either image, paper or some of the other products you can find at the shop. Playing with another brand gives you the chance of winning three digis of your pick.

Ok, finished for today. I think I will take a really hot bath now and see if my pain can ease a bit. I knew it was bad to remove the painkillers but I got like flu symptoms like my youngest had last week, and I had to find out if it's the meds or the flu I got. Well, both is really bad I will tell you, but at least if it had been the flu it would have been gone faster. Now I need to find something that helps a bit and doesn't make me feel sick. I really need to get back to school but with this pain I can't.

Love n hugs
