Bildmålarna goes Passion for Promarkers

My second finished card for today and I am pretty amazed that I got it together. The colouring took forever as I had a friend from Stockholm here this week and everytime we sat down to make cards and scrap we talked so much that nothing much got done. :) But it was a lovely time! Thanks Ewa!

The card is made with the sketch from Passion for Promarkers with the fall colours that is the theme. Bildmålarnas challenge has bling and glitter for a theme.

This image is from Bildmålarnas new August kit and this is the sweetest of them all in my mind. She's coloured with promarkers of course and so are the croched blings as well as they were white and green with silver in the middle. On with some fall colours and some golden glitter and the fall was suddenly here. Some punched flowers and leafes and half pearls. DP are Papermania and I absolutly hate them but this card tured out really great. The boarder is made with one of the new Magnolia dies.

So of for some TV-watching and hot cocco. Having a sour throat and are freezing. I do think fall is really here!

Take care and hugs,

Marie

The challenge at Altheas Mix goes in white

So I made it! Lucky enough to finish my "vitt i vitt" card for this weeks challenge at Altheas mix. There is a few different whites on the card and some silver details. Kind of fun to make as I normally don't do many cards without stamps at all. The text is made with a sizzix alphabet called Santas workshop. Really love that one. There is diamond glitter and stickles glitter here and there to make the card more alive. In the end turned out much better than I never thought it would. Looks a little grey but it's all in white, promise!

Have a good eve!

Another one for the Althea Mix Challenge

I was kind of thinking last night. Hmmm, I probably should have used both brads and buttons on the card for Altheas mix challenge. And my snowy had just brads. So what do a girl have to do? Oh yes! Use an old idea and build a Christmas tree out of buttons and this time, give it some decorations with the brads. Maybe baulbs or maybe christmas lights, it's up to you to decide. I also gave this tree a top star and kind of placed it outside with some flower soft as ground for it. I have only used black and white card stock and a bit of patterned white paper with some glimmer to it for a little sparkle.

Now it's time for some ice cream with the boys so I end here.
Take care and enjoy the rest of the day.

Hugs,
Marie

The third card from last night

Oh yes! Three cards it was and this is the last one. I decided to enter a Swedish challenge (at Altheas Mix) yesterday and this week there is a theme of buttons and brads. So this is used for this card, no buttons but a few brads which should be enought. Brads on the Snowy belly and the snowflakes. Snowy is coloured with copics and I try to learn how to handle them as well, not just the aquamarkers and promarkers. So far the promarkers are winning big. :) I find them easier to colour with, maybe the harder nib I don't know. But practise make perfect so in the end who knows.

Snowy is from last years Winter collection from Magnolia and the DP are from Dovecraft. Did some cutting in to it to get the swirls out but keept it very simple. That's me for this period of time, simple. I have also used some flowersoft in polar white to get some effect of snow on both the ground and on Snowy.
And as I saw the Winter wonderlands challenge, (walking in the Winter wonderland is the theme) right before I started this post I will enter my card to that challenge too. Snowy must fit there, doesn't he?

Take care! It's time to eat something and then pick up the boys from daycare. It's a short day today.

Hugs for you all!
Marie

Here we go again!

This is the card coloured with the Aqua markers

Christmas all year around! I sat down last night to make a thank you card. But did I found any inspiration for that, oh no! Christmas? Easy peasy! It worked out very well so I ended up making a couple of them. This post shows the two cards I made for Passion for Promarkers. And yes, both of them are coloured with markers from Letraset. One with the ordinary ones, promarkers and the other with the Aquamarkers. I totally had to try them and it is kind of hard to use them for me, at least so far. But it is great fun to learn something new. Think I find it hard because they are really intense and the blenderpen is really wet. So I went for brush and water instead. Worked so much better. I practise some more and see were I end up. :)

This is the one coloured with the original promarker pens.

So the DP are from Donnas Bearly Mine design. One of her lovely Christmas packs. The image is from Lili of the Valley  and some ribbon from the supermarket. To give it some extra X-mas feeling I have used some mirriboard as well under the image. The sketch comes from Papertake Weekly, but it's flipped and no text this time. A silver bow instead.

Enjoy the day!

Then there was another one

I actually have made two cards to day. This one involves no stamping at all. It's a freebee from Ladybug and Friends that I have used. I love this vintage style and it's such a sweet image. The best part is that I have a couple of others laying around that have not been used yet. DP are from Dovecraft and from Bearly Mine design. Pearls from BunnyZoe. Have used "some" copper glitter from T.H. I do love that colour and it was such a good match to this image. Hope you like!

Some time for myself

It has been a wonderful day so far! The boys are at day care and I have been able to relax for the first time in ages! So lovely! I got into X-mas spirit again and used the simple sketch from Friday sketchers this week and combined it with DCD X-mas Club which has the them of poinsettia this week. First time in ages I've been able to play. The image is coloured with my not (so far) friendly Copic pens. The image is from LOTV. DP are from Dovecraft and the flowers are from Wild Orchid Crafts. I just replace the middle of them with golden pearls instead of the yellow middle they had.

Thanks for looking and a wonderful day!

Hugs,
Marie

Just a card again

It has been a really busy time the last few weeks as I have helped my youngest brother and his new wife to fix the decorations, placement cards and other little bits and bobs for the wedding. Nothing eles has been done. The rest of the time have I been working on their wedding gift and the gift for their son F. Of course I forgot to photo them when they were done but I'm very pleased with my pictures that I stitched in sepia colours, a wedding couple and a baby playing with a rattle. I have really drained my self of energy for this and how much I still miss making my cards, I still don't have any energy for it.

This one however was made a while back and was the card I made for F. to go with his present. It's coloured with both promarkers and copic markers. DP are from NitWit collections. Really wonderful ones. I have not looked for any challenges to fit my card. I just place it here because I really like it. It's bright and fun, just like little F is. He is always similing and laughing that little toddler! Oh! The stamp is from stamavie and Mo Maning. A real darling and so lovely to colour in.

This is all for today. My boys will be home for another couple of days, but after that I hope to be back to normal again. Take care and enjoy life!

Hugs,

Marie

Such a long time ago

Shame on me not posting here for a very long time. I have been crafting like crazy, but nothing that can be shown at least not yet. I am working on a few projects for my youngest brother's wedding and it sure do take time to finish all those little bits and bobs. Friday 13 is their big day and my crafting can go back to normal. Can't wait even if it's fun to work with this as well, but it has been a very long time now.

So the other day did I finish two big projects and yesterday I celebrated that by making a card! Clever ha? A little mousie with a cake made by Tina Wenke who also draws the sweetest cross stitch designs seen in a long time. But I settle with this cute stamp of hers.

The sketch is from Passion for Promarkers (sorry that I have missed so many challenges lately. I miss it badly). It's very seldom sketches at this challenge so I thought it would be fun to join the fun. All the DP are from Pink Pretticoat. Flowers are made by retro punches and half pearls from BunnyZoe.

Sorry about the photo. It got a little blurry a little bit of MI problem and a little bit of wether problem and you end up with this. ;) IRL it's a little brighter...

Now of to some more wedding projects and hopefully I won't be away from my blog this long any more. Take care and thanks for dropping by!
