Make it digital over at the Paper Shelter

Morning and hello! Time for me to post a little bit something again. It's Wednesday and that means new challenge over at the Paper Shelter and this week we are really doing things easy for you all. We're having the theme of Make it digital and that simply means that you should use a digital image and or digital designer paper. It's as easy as that, you don't have to go banans with digital colouring or something like that even if you may do that as well if you want too. :)

I missed out on the last TPS challenge as it was heavy load at home with school arrangements and soccer games in the middle of the week. This week is a little bit easier but I am really tired, I have started to work for real now. I got my first pay check in almost 8 years the other week and I am so proud of myself for not giving up and I even managed to fix my Insurance office so that I don't miss out on a whole day of payment when my painful days comes. I will only miss out on 20% so I am really pleased with how I deal with things at the moment. Now it's only two persons have it coming to them...but I will be fair to them and keep quiet so this is all you get about that. Just had to get it off my chest.

So my card then. The image is called Lil' Cowboy and is one of the new images from the Paper Shelter. I have coloured all with my Letraset / Winston & Newton markers. I so like the old ones better than the new ones and my trias, I will miss you when you all have run out. :(

The designer papers are from NitWit collection and is called Little tumbleweeds. Filled with tons of cowboy stuff. Too good not to use with this image. I have used some golden brads, a star charm also golden and some hemp string to decorate my card. The tile letters are from Panduro and this is the orange version.

Well then play along with us one of the fabby TPS images or dp's or even the other kits to make stationery or boxes or tags with. All digital and you get them over at the Paper Shelter for a only a few dollars. All images comes with at least one dp to match the image. Using TPS products gives you the chance of winning $30 gift voucher to use in the store. Playing with another brand which you also can do if you prefere will get you a chance to win three digis of your choice. So do come and play with us, you won't regret it.

There is also a spot open on my team if anyone fancy joining us over at the Shelter. Just drop me an e-mail and I have a look at your creations.

Take care and do something that makes you happy.

Love n hugs
Marie

Hats and/or scarfs

Morning and hello! Back again with a little creation of mine. It's time for a new challenge over at Winter Wonderland and this week we want to see your hats and/or scarfs on your creation. It should be nice and easy to find an image that fits the theme.

Our sponsor this week is Sasayaki Glitter Digistamps and the prize is one digi for one lucky winner. Sasayaki Glitter Digistamps does also have a challenge blog that you find here.

For my card have I used the image Happy Winter which you find here. A sweet and happy girl well wrapped up in her hat and scarf. I've coloured with my Letraset/Winsor & Newton markers and some glitter pens from Sakura. Also is a white gel pen used here.

My designer papers comes from Maja Design and from the collection A gift from the heart. The antique gold charm and snowflake are from PY Hobby. The tree dies are from Magnolia and well covered up border die from Joanna Sheen. Flowers from my stash and then are covered in some glitter. I used some gesso on my trees, maybe a tiny bit too much, but it is winter. LoL

Well, I hope to see you play along with us and you can add your card to our challenge right here.

Take care and do something that makes you happy.

Make it manly

Morning and hello! Long time no seen. I have been busy with life and have not had much energy for creating. I am working again, for real with a pay check. It has been a long journey but now it has come to an end. I have reached my goal and is really proud of myself. It would have been so easy to give up. But that is not my road to take.

Anyway, in some bright sun shine have I finally managed to make a card with an image from the Paper Shetler. It's called physical and sprititual strength. A very fitting name for the image. All my three brothers are and are former matrial art athlets. Two of them in the national team, the third stared to play tennis instead. My olderst brother, 40 + actually managed to win a bronze medal in Portugal during the winter. A bronze in the open champion ships of BJJ. Quite cool as he never had that succes when he was younger. My youngest brother was a real super start when it came to jiu-jitsu with one silver and one bronze in the world champion ships and a victroy in European challenge cup which is a big tournament like the world champs. Now is my nephew and nieces following in their dad's foot step. One is in the national junior team at the moment.

Ok, got a bit side tracked here. LoL Of course I have coloured with Winsor & Newton / Letraset markers. That is something you have to do as well if you want to chance of the prize this week. The image is paired up with some simple storie and Echo park dp's. The real deal this time, not the digital versions. I used some puffy stickers to decorate and my beloved Panduro Foam letters to say congrats.

For my card have I used a TPS image that I had tons of fun colouring. I have used "punches and dies, bling and birthday" or "square card, bling and text" or "punches and dies, text and black & white". I love the shading of grey. Lots of fun to colour that way, but there isn't as many shades of grey left now when the Tria markers isn't around any more. That is sad as it hard to get those fine colour changes without more options. Please bring them back!

I have use a paper pad with only black and white dp's which is really nice. I just wish I had bought it as a 6 * 6 instead. Pearls, paper flowers, gem stones and a charm work as decorations. A punch for the border and a die cut flower is also used.

It would be great fun if you played along with us and help us celebrate our birthday. Tons of prizes to be won as well. Come on and join the fun.

Take care and do something that makes you happy!

Flowers

Morning and hello! I am having a blooming week this week. Two challenges in a row with flowers as their main theme, and both of them are set by me. Wonder what I was thinking doing that? Oh well it is spring and the flowers are really blooming at this very moment so I am not that off, am I?

Todays card is for the Paper Shelter and as mentioned the theme is Flowers. That means that we want to see some flowers on your creation. Either on the image, on the dp's or even some lovely paper flowers or what ever they might be made from...

I have used the very adorable garden gnom with the name of "Having a good time!". Isn't he adorable? I think he looks very relaxed and happy with his day. He has probably worked hard for his rest, don't you think? I have coloured him with a mix of Letraset markers and copics. I have a few of the last ones as well and I thought I give them another try. I needed some new colours to jazz things up a bit. Really pleased with his flower shorts.

The designer papers are from Echo park once again. Filled with happy colours and a pleasure to use. Once again they are digital and I think they are from Celebrate spring. I print a few at the same time and never write down what they are. Maybe I should? :)

As always playing with us over at the Paper Shelter you are free to use any brand of image or none if that's how you like it. Then you have a chance of winning three digis of your choice. Playing with a TPS image gives you a chance of winning a gift voucher worth $30. How nice isn't that and you get quite a few images from that price. That means tons of fun!

Ok then, time for me to sign off for today. I wish you a lovely week and hope to see you soon again.

Take care and do something that makes YOU happy!

Make it bloom

Morning and hello! I am back again, this time with a creation for Passion for Promarkers. For once it's a lovely day with sun shine but the wind is still cold. Yesterday I did some colouring and some painting as well. Redoing the stairway, from some kind of peach to black. It will look smashing when I am done with it. At least I hope so and together with some colourful wall paper it will be great.

Denise Morgans foto.

Anyway, sponsoring us this week is the Paper Shelter and the price up for grabs is a voucher worth $10. You will get a few images for that and it's all hight quality images and all comes with a backing paper as well.

And now to my card. I have used the image called Adorable Dutch girl. I probably should have gone with white blue and red but the cards is mine and I was in more vintage feel this time. :) She is coloured with letraset markers and some glitter pens from sakura. It probably doesn't show much on my photo but it's there.

I have used some of my Maja Design papers. It's time to use up some of the old stuff laying around. It is getting really crowded in my crafting room and I need to use some of that stuff up now. Wonder how it always become more in that room even if you keep making stuff? Hmmm a little helper maybe? The dp's are from Coffee in the arbour or something like that and I have used some vanilla card stock as matting for all the panels. Butterfly charm is from PY hobby, paper butterflies made with a Martha Stewart punch and the flowers are mostly from WOC. A piece of lace and some pearls from my stash as well.

This is all from me for today. Take care and do what makes YOU happy!

Love n hugs
Marie
