It was a really long time since last...

Finally some time to make a card and blog it as well. I always think that it will lots more time with Mats is home to do things that I want to do = make cards. But it never turns out that way. Family has to come first as it only is four weeks per year we can spend together like this and in the evenings I'v had too much pain to do anything card related. I spend a little while every day helping my brother and his wife to be with their wedding stuff, at the moment that is placement cards for the dinner. I am not a very fast calligraphic writer any longer, but now when half is done I'm getting there! :)

So a card made over the last couple of weeks, a really slow progress on this one. The image is one of the new lovely stamps from Joanna Sheen with kittens and puppies. A very long time needed for me to colour this one in. DP are from Panduro, one of all the lovely Tilda pads. Flowers are from Prima and cardcraft candy in the middle mixed with some glitter glue in cotton candy. Half pearls from Bunny Zoe and the leafs are punched.

It's time to hit the basement and the placement cards again, and then another wedding project but I won't tell what it is, just in case someone that shouldn't see it drops by... :)

I enter my card to these challenges:
Friday sketchers - The sketch of course
Passion for promarkers - distressing
Papertake Weekly - Cutie Patootie

Take care everyone, I've missed you all and your sweet comments. They mean the world to me! Thanks!
Hugs,
Marie

My final card for today

My cards has kind of been stacked up, so I have a third and final card for today. It's Christmas time again and my image is from Sugarnellies at Funky Kits. I'v coloured her in different kinds of ink and distressed around all edges. Snowflakes is made by a woodware punch and they are also glimmer misted with old lace. I've cut pieces from a "lace" made MS punch, one of the deep ones. Decorated with tons of pearls from BunnyZoe's. DP are from DCWV. Wonderful green colour! :)

A bunch of challenges to enter with this card:
Friday Sketchers - The sketch
Stampavie and more - Anything goes
Everybody art challenge - Holiday
Fancy and Fussy - Christmas in July part 2
Winter wonderland - Tas was the night before X-mas
Christmas Stamping all year around - open challenge
Bah humbug! - For someone special

And this was all from me for today!

Marie

Just Magnolia

Hi and hello!
This week at Just Magnolia we have a little recipe to follow: Three flowers, two papers and one ribbon. So when all that was done I was kind of pleased. Find it hard with those recipe thingis to follow. On top of that I saw that I had cut the DP totally way off and didn't see it before I had put it all together. With that said we can learn the lesson; Do not finish cards early in the morning or late at night depending on how you see it. This was done 2,30 in the morning. Too hot and I was kind of expecting some thunder and rain. Only a small amouth of rain came. First in almost four weeks so I guess we have to be happy about that. :) It smelled wonderful! The lovely DP are from Donna at Bearly Mine design. Lots of yummi to be found there.

My stamps for this card is from the Yummi for your tummy collection. And do you know what? Today did the new summer kit came in the mailbox. :)

Oh dear! The colours are really strange, it was just a little too dark to take the pictures this hour.

Well anyway have a wonderful eve!
Hugs,
Marie

LOTV challenge

I am so in love with the LOTV stamps and the new christmas stamps are totally adorable. I really have to order some of those as soon as I posible can. In the meanwhile I have to play with the ones I already have. For my card this time I've used "DIY bear" which totally fits my dad, when it comes to having a cup of coffe and the news paper first of all, and spending as much time as posible with it. Then get to start with what ever was planed. :)

Dear old bear is coloured with vintage photo only of TH distress inks. Kind of in love with that colour as well. Really clean and simple card this one. Thanks for looking!

A little passion for promarkers

Hi there! Finally some time to blog this little card of mine! Busy all day with birthday celebration and the kids last day at kindergarten for this semester. Willy loves the fact that he doesn't have to go there for a long time. And Philip? Just the opposite! Should have named my sons Day and Night I think. Guess that's what's make them fun, especially when they are able to play together, and are happy about it. Like today. :)

The theme this week at Passion for Promarkers is "Make us laugh". I kind of only own to funny stamps, so I had to go with one of those. This card turned out way different than the first one I made a coulpe of months ago, thanks to Donna at Bearly Mine design. She makes the most amazing DP and this one is actually a free bee. Pop on over to Donna and see what she has to offer. It's really worth it, promise! Who needs tons of decoration when the DP are like made for you stamp? :)
So my stamp is from High Hope and so is the wonderful sentiment as well. It always make me smile when I see it. So now some time stitching and then some use of my new heat therapy. Yes, I know! It's crazy but my shoulder really need it deep in. I will probably melt away, but I prefere that to be in more pain.

See you soon and enjoy your time at the crafting table!

Marie

Finally a day that doesn't cook us all!

Only little over 20 Celcius degrees today, have been around 30 for about a week now. Shouldn't complain but it totally drains me of energy. So today I have finally managed to make a card, a Christmas one once again. This time it's a Xriss Xross Card, my first ever and that's the challenge at Just Magnolia this week.

I'm also entering this one to the Winter Wonderland Challenge which has Punch it as their theme. I've punched snowflakes like crazy here. :) And glued them to the edge of the xriss xrossy edges. I wanted to use a pom pom laze but didn't have any as I thought, so this is plan B how to speak.

For my last challenge which is found at Fussy and Fancy the challenge is simply Christmas in July. The stamps I've used is form a couple of different places. My dear Snowman is from Magnolia. He is coloured with distress inks. DP are from DCVW I think. Have also used some polar white on Mr Snowman. For the inside of the card I've used the same snowman, some swirls from WOJ and a text stamp from Panduro.

This was all from me for today. I wish you a wonderful day!

Sunshine day

Another day filled with sun and heat around here. Glad I got to the gym in the morning hours. Totally out of energy now. Have finished a card of mine as well. Thought I would blog it before I go out and rest for a little while in the sun.

This card is made after a sketch from Just Magnolia and the theme I followed is from Passion for Promarkers. Theme is numbers! So once again ice cream Tilda for my card. Tends to be drawn to that image in this weather. :) Stamped in London Fog Memento Ink. Have to stop using it, a little too pale I think. Well, DP from DCWV "Back to basic", some flowers from WOC and some numbers and letter from sizzix. A few cardcraft candies to finish this off.

Have a very good day!
Hugs,
Marie

OK, winter time again.

Yes I know we have about 25 degree celicius outside and I am making Christmas cards. Totally nuts, I know, I know. But it is very relaxing I must say. No hurry just do as many as I like to and feel good about it.

So this card is for Winter Wonderland - Strawberries and cream (for me that's red and white)
and then we have Die Cut Dreams Christmas Club - Artic Winter (That will be tons of snow for me that)

I've used one of my images from Prairie Fairy, I don't remember the name of it but is cut isn't it? Not a lot to colour as it is a little snow man. I have put some polar white flower soft here and there to give him a more "snow" feeling. First time I used that stuff and you will be seeing more of that in my X-mas cards. Love the little 3D feeling it gives. Snow flakes are punshed with MS Artic flake in red and the coverd with more Flower soft. Some cardcraft dots are also used. The DP are all from Pink Pretticoat. Love the clean and simple look of those. Of course it's all coloured with promarkers.

Now it's time to hit the gym before it gets too hot. Have a good day everyone!

Hugs,
Marie
