Here comes Bearly Mine Challenge; Flowers, Flowers, Flowers

We have a wonderfully easy challenge for you this time just as my title tells you; We had a  Flowers, Flowers, Flowers!

For my card have I used one of last years relizes from Bildmålarna. I truly think that this Tossa stamp is my all time fave from them. Can it has something to do with the flower she's holding in her hand? My favourite flowers! She's paired up with some wonderful papers from Donna's Christmas Wonderland. Love those colours. By the way, Donna has a whole bunch of new sets launching during this week and on top of it all she has a sale going on. You really should pop on over and take a look.

My flowers are from Prima and Wild Orchid Crafts, ribbon as well. The brad was a white one but coloured it in with a promarker. Some card Craft candy in the corner finish it up after a touch of glitter glue on top of them.

As always there is a whole bunch of wonderful sponsors that gives away prizes to the lucky winners.

Time is really flying!

And it's not just the time that is up in the air! This week over at the PaperShelter we have the theme of

For the birds!

I have been wanted to colour this birdie in for ages but not really got into it. I happy with how he(?) turned out. I'm guessing it's a male bird. They are usually more colourful. Anyway, he is teamed up with papers from Kaiserkraft, the Bubblegum collection. Bright and nice for the summer. Couldn't help myself and keept on playing with my black cardstock. Black leafs and details on this card, just to break the colours down a little. There is also a bunch of Card Craft Candy helping out on this card.

As usual we have a smashing voucher of $15 to be won if you use a PaperShelter image on your creation. If you don't you can still win one digi of your choice. Nice isn't it?

We love to see you around at the Papershelter and don't forget, anyone can play!

A new challenge over at For Fun again...

... and this week we are all inspired by spring! Sun, flowers, how about some heat? Just bring it on-we all would be very happy! We are sponsored this week by the lovely Sweet and Sassy designs. Be sure to pop over to them and look at their store. Just click the image.

For my card this week, I have used this little sweetheart for my main focos on the card. DP was ready to go as I should have used them to another card, but changed my minde when almost done. All papers are from Bearly Mine Design. My flowers are made with retro punches in two different sizes, and a McGill punch. Have also used a clear spica pen to add some sparkel on the flower. The other flowers has taken a shower in tattered angel spray in the old lace colour.

Be sure to check back later for another post today as it also time for The PaperShelter Challenges.

A new challenge over at For Fun!

A whole week has passed since I last got a card up here! Shame on me! My boys are sick again and absolutly nothing gets done around here. I started making a card but it's so hard to put it together of some reason. Lucky for me this card for the new challenge over at For Fun Challenges was not that hard to get together. The new challenge for the week is a color challenge. You have to use the following colors:

BLACK OLIVE AND PURPLE

Nice and easy right? So get those images out and start to color. Can't wait to see what you all come up with.

So for my card have I used one of the lovely Manga girls from Sugernellies. A really sweetie. I've colored her with my promarkers. The designer papers are from Papermania and the black and green one (black and white from the beginning, I do love my markers!) is from Slöjddetaljer. I've also used some cardcraft candy in black and given them a little glitter with black stickles from rangers. The sentiment is also from Card craft. The stickle is also used in her hair to give a little sparkle to this cool gal. Ribbon is from stash.
Well this is MI signing off for today. I will go back to my crafting table and start watching the glue dry again and hopefully my mojo hits me while I'm doing that.

A big thank you to all of you who have become followers to my little space here on the net over the last week. I do appreaciate each and every one of you and will do my best to come and see you regular. See you in the loving land of blogging!

Love n hugs

Passion for Promarkers

After a crazy weekend it was good to sit down today and make a plain and simple card. I have used one of the super cute stamps from Bildmålarna for this card and coloured him in with the promarkers of course. The papers are from Bearly Mine Design again. Both of them are freebees. I am so in love with this green and blue combo, and it fitted perfect for the birthday card for my youngerst nephew. 1 year old already! It's the most happy kid on earth and so in love with balls that it's strange if you don't see him with one in his little hand. :)
The theme over at PFP this week is distress and stitching. Distress OK, stitching I don't know but I did have my sewing mashine out as I have been making curtains this weekend. So I thought I give it a try. May be it gets easier with time? I have some more curtain and table cloth making to do so I might give it another go when it's already up and running. Who knows? :)

Anyway, have to eat a little something and then some more cardmaking I think. Need the distraction as my knees hurts like - - - -.

Another day, another Christmas Card

Hi all! Todays card is made with one of the sweet new Christmas stamps from Lili of the valley and as I give most of my cards to a cat shelter, what is a better fit than some Christmas kittens?
The card is made for the challenges that is going on at Winter Wonderland - holly, red and green. And Die Cut Dream's Christmas Challenge which has the the theme of Furry things. DP are from DCWV I think and some huge bling stones from Panduro, card candy in the corners, glitterations from Anitas and some stickles from TH. The image is coloured with my beloved promarker pens.

Now some dinner and then off to a meeting at Kindergarten.

Have a good evening!

OK, winter time again.

Yes I know we have about 25 degree celicius outside and I am making Christmas cards. Totally nuts, I know, I know. But it is very relaxing I must say. No hurry just do as many as I like to and feel good about it.

So this card is for Winter Wonderland - Strawberries and cream (for me that's red and white)
and then we have Die Cut Dreams Christmas Club - Artic Winter (That will be tons of snow for me that)

I've used one of my images from Prairie Fairy, I don't remember the name of it but is cut isn't it? Not a lot to colour as it is a little snow man. I have put some polar white flower soft here and there to give him a more "snow" feeling. First time I used that stuff and you will be seeing more of that in my X-mas cards. Love the little 3D feeling it gives. Snow flakes are punshed with MS Artic flake in red and the coverd with more Flower soft. Some cardcraft dots are also used. The DP are all from Pink Pretticoat. Love the clean and simple look of those. Of course it's all coloured with promarkers.

Now it's time to hit the gym before it gets too hot. Have a good day everyone!

Hugs,
Marie

Paper take weekly challenge Sketch 40

Hi all!
A little card made for the Paper take weekly challenge in the last minute. But better late than never isn't it?

Followed the sketch looking like this.
Have for my card used a the manga girl "sitting pretty" from Sugarnellie. Coloured her with my promarkers in pink and grey. Have used a gingham paper in black and white from Pinkpretticoat and some off cuts of cardstock in a bright pink and a bright blue. Sentiment from CardCraft... A few card candy dots from the same place. A dotty ribbon from a local store.

Have good eve everyone, now time for needle and thread for a while.

Hugs,
Marie

Lili of the Valley challenge No 50

Good evening!
Here comes my second card for tonight. Have recently bought a bunch of Lili of the Valley stamps. Just love cat images and they have the cutest little one called Thomas. :) My own cats are called Hasse and Tage after two old swedish comedians. They are soon two years and do try there best to be as funny as the originals.

Well then, the challenge at LOTV challenge is to use blue, silver and one other colour. Hope I've done that. Blue and silver and some pink. I've coloured this one with my distress inks and I kept asking myself why I didn't use my promarkers. My answer to myself was that it's good to challenge yourself even a little more once in a while and so I did. :)

The card comes here, a very simple one but the image is so cute that it doesn't need to be much on it. At least that's what I think.

The DP are from Pink Pretticoat all in in duck egg blue. (Little hearts, gingham, and solid) Fave colour of mine! The hat pins did I make myself with some silver pearls and blank hat pins. Very relaxing exercise! Ribbon from Wild orchid craft. The pearls are from Pagoni.se. Some card candy in the corners. Well, that's it I guess.

Now time for some relaxing television and then bed time. Will be a long day tomorrow as both my boys are at home. They always are during Fridays. And I always get really tired. :) Lots of energy, but now are one of them sick and really cranky. Not so much fun. Just hope that Willy won't get it as well.

A good night to you all,
hugs
Marie
