Anything goes optional texture over at Creatalicious Challenges

Morning and hello! It is time for a new challenge over Creatalicious Challenges today. We always have the theme of Anything goes and an optional theme. This time our optional theme is texture. We are sponsored by and the prize offered this time is Mari Digis.

Prize  -  1 of the 3 images the DT used on their projects

I have used the image called  c18 super girl versao md and used a bunch of left over papers from my stash once again. I have started to get good at that lately. Well, to be honest I have used tons of left overs the whole year and I don't have much of them left by now. Now it's all "new and fresh" again. That in the meaning of old papers and paper pads that has hardly been used. LoL

I have coloured with my Letraset / Winsor and Newton markers and some pencils to that for my card this time. I have also dived into my stash of die cuts and used them. The stars are actually new but made out of scrap card stock. Have been sorting that out too. I have also use a border punch, some ribbons from my stash and a few enamle dots. The glitter circle that shows up on two places is a circular frame I cut in two. So there is some glitter card, card stock, ribbon and some graphic paper under the image for different textures on this card. I didn't have the energy to pull out my die cutting mashine and do some embossing which was my first thought when I saw that we had texture as our optional theme. That doesn't mean that you can't do it. Or use some ribbon, lace, twine, fabric etc.

Anyway, I wish you a good day and hope that you will come and join us for our challenge this period of time. Do what you makes you happy and come and play with us over at Creatalicious Challenges.

Love n hugs
Marie

Anything Christmas over at the Winter Wonderland

Good afternoon! A bit late today as I have had a real struggle with my pain this week, but at least I got there finally with my card for today. We have a new challenge over at Winter Wonderland for you today. It is an easy peasy one as we have Anthing goes Christmas this two week period. Plenty of time to join us for our challenge.

Sponsor for this challenge is Le Ann's World 101 and here is so info about the sponsor and the prize for this challenge.

Hello all, my name is LeAnn Wariner. I have been painting and drawing since I was a little girl. I am a nurse by profession but, like many of you, am unable to work due to medical conditions. I began drawing again a couple years ago and now bring to you my digital "Stamps by LeAnn's World 101". I look forward to seeing your colorings and creations. Thank you from my world to yours.
And the prize on offer for the challenge winner is  2 digital stamps from LeAnn's World 101 Etsy store.
I have been using the image called  Decorating LeAnn and coloured it with my promarkers and the left overs of my Trias, I miss them and want them back. Ok, back to my card. The image is a lovely image that is working on her christmas decorations. One of my favourite things to do for Christmas. But it has become a little too much when it comes to my decorations. So a bit fewer this year, if I manage to keep that promise.

I have used some left over papers that has been in my stash for a long time, not a full year but nearly I think. I know they are from NitWit as I love their style of papers but I don't remember the name of them. I have also used a few dies that I got buying a magazine. Amazed by the sentiment die. Looks really lovely, just a tiny bit big for my taste. I need to make bigger cards. The bulbs dies are also from that magazine. I also used a bit a left over lace and a few enamle dots in pink. There is also a tiny bit of flower soft on the girls stocking. I have a tiny bit left over of that fabby product.

Well, so a pink and grey christmas card from me today. How will yours look? Because you will come and play with us over at Winter Wonderland, right? :)

Take care and do something that makes you happy everyday!

Love n hugs
Marie

Just for fun

Morning and hello! I am back again with another male card. I have quite many left to show I am affraid. LoL! I promise that I will take them one at time and with some other cards in between.  Just so I can enjoy to post more cards than just DT-cards even if that is great too.

At this moment am I looking forward to the soccer season to come to an end so we can get our weekends back and don't have to rush from soccer field to soccer field. The season has been really long to be honest. But I also know that in a month or so I will miss it terrible again.

Ok then to the card. I have used the lovely Maja Design paper pack Called Denim something once again and I have also made this one on the ferry to or from Poland. Gosh! It was a great trip! Got so much done.
Both the designer papers and the topper is from Maja design. This one is also paired up with some twine in black or maybe navy. I don't remember to be honest and I have been messing with the colours in my photo a bit as I try to figure out how to get a light photo without totally white wash it. No bigger success, but some day will I learn. It will just take some time.

Added to the twine is a fabby charm in the shape of a cowboy hat as I thought it was fitting for this topper. I also added a few wooden stars. They look good to all images and toppers. Perfect embellishment in my mind. As always have I used tons of layers to my card. It looks a bit bare if I not add all of the card stock layers too.

Anyway, I wish you a great weekend and do take time to do something for you!

Sentimental over at The Paper Shelter

Morning and hello! Hope your week is good so far. Only three more days or two before the weekend is here again and I really look forward to that. I am so tired and it's a bit hard to breath. I need to use more of my asthma meds I think.

Anyway, no more health talk today. We go straight to my card for today. I have a card for our new challenge over at The Paper Shelter today. We have a new theme and this week have I set the theme to "Sentimental". It simply means that we want to see a sentiment on your creation. Like Happy Birthday, Good Luck, Well done ect.

I have used one of our newer images called Leaf Blower and it's probably the most adorable image in many years from the Paper Shelter. He or she is totally adorable. For me is it a male unicorn today as I am kind of brain washed by unicorns today as I once again has written one or two texts about unicorns at work. They are everywhere and still unicorns are know to be shy and keeping away from other living creatures. LoL

I have coloured with my Letraset Winsor & Newton markers and some glitter pens on top of that. I have used a mega old paper pad from Basic Grey called Green at heart. It's from 2009 and that means I bought it when I started to scrapbook. It's a busy patterned paper pad but I will get a bit more of the papers used up before I send them on to a school or something like that. There is always someone they will be new to.

I have raided my stash of die cuts as well for this card. I have a fall die kit from Magnolia that I love. It's filled with pumpkins, leafs, and other fall related stuff and I adore the fabby leafs in that kit. I did also used a few hearts and flowers that is die cut earlier as well. I decided to add a few feathers from Lawn Fawn as well as decorations. They are coloured in different colours and they are in different sizes as well. Center of my flowers are some dew drops also from ages ago. Oh, almost forgot that I had added some golden string as well. Maybe I should have added all of these die cuts to a scrapbook layout instead but it was really relaxing to keep adding. A whole pile of leaves. Love that!

So here comes the final information about entering our challenges. Like that you can enter up to three times if you use a TPS image on at least one of your creations. That gives you the chance of winning our gift voucher worth $30. Playing with another brand gives you the chance of winning three digis or your choice.

I wish you a great week and I hope to see you play along with us for our challenge this week. Remember that you don't have to use one of our images but we will be really happy when you do and you have the chance of winning a whole bunch of our images.

Love n hugs

Anything goes over at Passion for Promarkers

Morning and hello! How are you all doing? Hope you're doing fine or at least better than we, me and my youngest. I have such headache and earache. My son is coughing like crazy and fever for the second week in a row. Tomorrow he has to write a test. I think my pain mainly comes from my med combo. Well not the earache but the headache. I have to stand it for a while longer and hopefully it will settle.

Anyway, we have a new challenge for you over at Passion For Promarkers. We have the theme of Anything goes and that should be nice and easy. The only thing that you need to do is to colour with Promarkers or their cousins aquamarkers or the missed tria markers the rest of the Letraset family.

Ingen automatisk text tillgänglig.
We are sponsored by A Day For Daisies which is offering one lucky winner a gift voucher worth $12. The store is filled with lovely charming images. Really tons to look at and fill up your digi library with.

I have used the image called Christmas Poinsetta and of course it's coloured with my Promarkers. Since I don't feel that well at the moment have I ended up with a easy and go to design once again. I have used an old paper pad from Panduro in red and browns of diffrent shades. Then some white card stock and it got a bit brighter. I also used a doily that I cut in half and by that streched it a bit. I also used some brown heart shaped pearls which is a perfect match in colours for this card.

Sorry about the photo. It is a bit redish but I will try to fix that tomorrow. Considering that I have taken the photo indoors in a black room with very little light it's a great photo! LoL Anyway, I sign off here and hope that you will come and join us over at PFP this week.

Take care and do more of what makes you happy!

Love n hugs,
Marie

Anything but a card over at PFP

Morning and hello! I am back and in time this time. At least I hope that my post has gone live when it should. It's the middle of a busy working week, I do only work 4 days per week so Tuesday and Wednesday is Mid week. Meetings and soccer will take up my time this week. I will be glad when the week is over actually. Or at least when it's Thursday evening and I can breath and relax again.

We have a new challenge for you this week over at Passion for Promarkers. And this week it really is a challenge as we want to see anything but a card. And you have to use your Promarkers or related markers to these to colour you image. So here is some thoughts on what you can make: tags, book marks, images on lay outs or like me, I pre prepped for a X-mas gift.

I have had a stash with boxes to alter as I never know when I need them. This is was my last one so it is a bit bigger than the others. I used some mega, super old designer papers from Dove Craft and I actually throw the rest of the in the trash! How could I? Well the patterns was really big and I would never ever use them and I don't think that any other person would either.

It was a lot of cutting but very simple and then some pearl ribbon and some gold string to that and a few metal corners to that. Nothing in the middle as I don't know who will get the box yet. That is yet to be added. To the box I made a tag which I coloured with my Promarkers/Brush markers. Then I could it so I had only partial of the image left over and added a sentiment stamp saying Merry Christmas  in Swedish. When time has come do I plan to add name and text to the back side of the tag.

Hope you will take the time to join our challenge as it is fun to be challenge for real from time to time. You have a whole week filled with crafting joy before our challenge closes for the week.

Love n hugs
Marie

Christmas Joy over at Winter Wonderland

Hello, hello, hello from Sweden and a very late post. Had trouble with my internet for a few days, but now it seems to work again. That means I am mega late with my beloved Winter Wonderland post which I am also hosting. It seems to be a week when nothing works out like it should at all, or at least not the way I had planned it.

Ok, things like that is supposed to tell you to slow down right? I have decided to handle it like that and here comes my card finally for my Winter Wonderland challenge. I have set the theme to Christmas Joy and that would simply mean that I want to see something that brings you joy for Christmas. It might be to sing the lovely songs, giving the gifts,  recieving them may be, decorate the tree or stuff like that. For me it's pretty much making the Christmas sweets and thinking about my granny. We always used to make it together and after we played card to three in the mornings. My grand dad was not really a fan of that as he thought he wouldn't get his breakfast in time. He couldn't cook at all. Granny did all of that.

So now when I make the Christmas candy with my partner and sometimes one or two of the kids we try to find a new playing list on spotify or and old CD with music on and that is played for the whole of December. Mostly we go back to the same old stuff as it's tradition.

We are sponsored by Imagine that digistamps

For my card have I used the lovely Christmas Bird trio. I have used the pre coloured version for this card. I had planned to use the other version of non coloured birdies as well but now I am not sure that I will have the time to play with it as well. We'll see how it goes.

This card is really simple as I was also getting the kids' cold that they have been struggling with the last few weeks so not much energy left over. I have used an old paper pack from Dove Craft I think and just used a few happy layers on my card. I did even make it A6 format this time. That way I could use up some left overs from other projects. I even tied a bow with some left over ribbon for a simple but cute decoration for the card. I can probably even send the card with a single stamp to one of my long distance pen pals when it's time to hit the post office in time for Christmas.

Anyway, sorry once again to all my teamies over at WW and here for my late post.

Love n hugs
Marie
