Have a card made with the cute images from Bildmålarna to share with you tonight. I combine it with the lovely sketch from Friday sketchers.
Bildmålarna has started a new challenge that is on the go each month from now. This time they want us to make a summer card with one of their images.
DP are freebees that has been laying around for ages. I kind of don't know if I like this card or not. It feels like something is missing. Guess I have to add it when I find out what it is. :) Or do another one which is probably the best solution. The little guy is coloured in inks. And flowers are from WOC and Prima, just as always. Dew drops from the local flower shop.
Have a lovely eve,

Paper take weekly and LOTV
Another stunning day here in Sweden. A little too hot to be outside at the moment. So here I am writing this before I go and pick up my boys a little early today as the little one have his first visit at the dentist today. Hope he wont freak as the other one did. They didn't even touch him, still went crazy.
So for this card I've used a LOTV image, coloured with different inks. It was a while since I used them and that shows. Have to practise more there again. I mainly use my promarkers nowdays as they are so fabby to colour with but every gal need a change every now and then. :) All DP are scrap pieces laying around the desk. Flower from WOC of course and some dew drops. Sketch provided from LOTV.

Paper take weekly, finally
Hi out there in the blogging world! We have had the most wonderful days here in the South East part of Sweden this weekend. So not many cards has been made. But I have managed to finish one at least.
This lovely sketch is found at Paper take Weekly.
I have just flipped it up side down. I have used a Stampavie stamp coloured with aquarell pens. Not used for ages, so it was great fun to use them again. Flowers as usual from Wild Orchid Crafts. MS punch for the lower part of the card, and the DP are from Basic Grey. Love the colours in these!
So now we off to granma and granddad and some strawberries and ice cream with the boys. A lovely summer treat!
Have a good day!
Hugs,
Marie

Lazy summer days...
... just around the corner. We are having one of those warm nice days today and my body decided. Hey! This is a good day to increase the pain a little further. Lucky for me doctors appointment tomorrow. A whole lovely day at the hospital. Can it be better? Just try not to think about it too much. Friday is coming up with it's Midsummer celebration and that is always fun, especially with my autie around.
So today I have to cards to show you. At Just Magnolia the theme is "In the garden" and at Passion for Promarkers the theme is "Your favourite thing". This is a great combo for me as there is nothing I like more that going out in the garden eating ICECREAM! There is not much I love more than that. All kind and all flavours there is. So much better than candy. So there you have it, my favourit thing ice cream in a warm summer day, or a cold winter day for that matter of fact. :)
My second card is actually also a favourite thing, but not for me. My cousin as she loves frogs, and I truly by heart hate them. However this was such a joy to colour and I was extreamly pleased with how she ended up. That was til I used the spica pen in her cute little face. Well. I prettend I don't see that. :)
For my ice cream card I've used stamps from Magnolia.nu and the DP are from a paper pad of the Tilda range from Panduro. For the froggy card DP are from the Wild Rose Studio, a MS punch and half pearls from BunnyZoe. Very clean and simple both of them.
So enjoy your day!
Take care and hugs,
Marie

X-mas time again
I was supposed to be outside repainting the garden furniture when it suddenly started to rain. Surprise! Lucky for me I hadn't started yet. So with that out of the picture I decided to put this all white card up before I go down in my little oasis and finish of some curtains that has been laying around for a little too long.
This card did I make with my oldest son yesterday, well he decided to make a bunch of them. Once he got he hang of it was nothing stopping him. You know how three year olds can be. We do now have a forrest of Christmas trees in the basement. :) He has glued buttons like never before.
So we are entering this card of ours to the
Winter wonderland challenge - as a festive tree and for the
Die cut dreams Christmas Challenge - all white. It's time to fix the curtains.
Take good care everyone!

Passion for Promarkers sketch and theme
Good evening to you all! here comes another card made by me for the PFP challenge. Pop on over and look at the great sketch on the blog. Up this week is a sketch together with a theme. Many blogs out there want us to make male cards this week as it seems to be Father's day around the corner. Here in Sweden it comes in November or maybe October so it feels a little bit early to do a card for that day. But we have many brithdays coming up and then it will be really useful to have a few male cards around as well. :)
The image is from Lili of the Valley. DP are from Papermania. A die cut star made with the Spellbinders and some old buttons from stash. Not many left of those wonderful wooden ones now. How will I survive? :) Much more fun to work with those than the plastic ones.
It's short and sweet today as I have spent "some" time writing letters today. And my body says - Hey, enough is enough and I better listen to that. I don't want to get sick again.
Take care all of you!
Hugs,
Marie

Lili of the Valley challenge no 55
So another card is finished and it was as always really wonderful to work with the stamps from LOTV. They are wonderful to colour in and the promarkers are perfect for those images.
As we have many, maaaany birthdays coming up in the family during July I thought that it would be a good idea to start work on those right now. It's only a few weeks left then we have July here isn't it amazing how fast time flies?
This sketch is made by Dawny for the challenge at LOTV and it was so easy to work with. I have however flipped it around a little bit as it suited my image better.
My DP are MME and I love them to bits. For embellishment I've used some wooden buttons that I got from my friends at the cat shelter. Perfect for this male card. Wish it would have been more of those buttons left in my stash as they are wonderful. :) The flowers had to stay away I'm affraid as it didn't look right at all on this male card.
Not much more to say about this card. Clean and simple. And this is how my card looks.
Enjoy the rest of your evening, I will!
Hugs,
Marie
Another one
Back after my training at the gym and I thought that I should do another card blogging as I have one laying around just waiting to be published. :)
This one is for the Friday Sketchers. Hope me slightly changing the LO is OK. I needed the ribbon to go all the way down on the card as my image is so big.
Time to hit the shower and relax for a bit before it's time to pick up the boys.
Have the most wonderful day!
Hugs,
Marie
A sunny day...
...finally and so good it feels! Just a few clouds in the sky and the it's really warm outside. Wonderful! On top of it all did my little mummy call and asked if the should hit the gym for a while. How could I say no to that? It was some time ago we was there now as I have been sick and all. This really cherred me up that's for sure and how good to have it all done during the day not having to go there in the eve when I'm totally drained of energy. This will be a good day! :)
My card for today is made for the Winter Wonderland Challenge. The theme is traditional X-mas flowers. Yes I know, X-mas in June but it feels so good to be on top of the cards for that lovely season. My stash is slowly growing and I'm having a good time making them. Can't be any better than that.
My image used today is from Prairie Fairy and it's called Roocat decorating the tree. It's so sweet and such a joy to colour with it's clean and simple look. Perfect for my promarkers. I've used a single poinsettia as my christmas flower cause I doubt the tree counts as a flower in this case. ;) Have used the sketch from Lili of the valley as it's a really wonderful one to work with. Have done another card with it for that challenge that is drying at the moment. Half pearls and ribbon are from BunnyZoe craft and the DP are DCVW. Perfect for this card. Enough said here comes the card!
Have a good day!

Hi there!
All of my boys are out fixing the garden. Cutting down trees and cutting grass while I am here by the computer. I start to cry when the grass gets a cut. Oh no! It's not by choise, I'm allergic to it. But at least I get some computer time because of it. :)
I started this card well the image colouring for last weeks challenge at PFP but got sick and never finished more than this "Lady Tilda". How ever the theme this week at PFP is "Pink Birthday" so I'm happy to use her for this week instead. The sketch comes from Just Magnolia and it's really nice and easy to work with. We all love those don't we? The sentiment stamp is from LOTV. DP are from the Tilda range Flowergarden of Panduro. I just couldn't help myself but had to put a tiny bit of green in to the card, to catch the colour of the rose leaves Tilda has in her hand. Also a tiny piece of pearl string and some dew drops from Bunny Zoe.
I see that Tilda looks a little pale on the picture here. I probably did something to the poor thing when I edited the photo. IRL the colours are much closer, and not so much shadows around Tilda either. The light is really strange outside today. Sun, rain, wind, cloudy... a real fall day. I really need to learn how to take good pictures of my cards.

The ribbon is bought at Wild Orchid Crafts in white. Always buy in white and the colour the ribbon in with my promarkers to get a good match to the rest of the card.

My flower kind of got showered in glitter glue with a little help of one of my sons, Willy. He was only helping and managed to get a half bottle of glitter out on the flowers before I could say stop. Well he is proud of his work and why not go a little crazy with the glitter every now and then? I do have removed quite a bit of it. Does that show? :)
After that I gave him a couple of card bases and a ton with stickers to play with. He has done a few creations by now and says we have to go and get some more stickers as he needs to finish his cards. Then he added maybe some glitter too?
Have a good eve!

Two cards for you today
I got lucky and won at Susie and Vikki's Christmas Club last week and got a chanse to guest design for them, and here is the two cards I made for this purpose. The challenge has by the way change name since Vikki has left it to spend more time with her family and have also gotten a new job. Congrats to that! The challenge is now called Die Cut Dreams Christmas Club. Pop over and join the challenge. It's nice to get a head start with all those X-mas cards, even if it's a bit strange feeling making the cards in the middle of the summer. :)
The lovely sketch is made by Vikki, thanks for that. It was such a joy to work with and suited more than one style of card. That is always good.
The red one is made for my youngerst nephew Felix. He will be about one year old when it's X-mas again. Nice and clean for kids that age. The image used is also from my prize last week, a digi stamp called "Roocat in Stocking". It's really cute and of some reason it reminds me of Felix's dog Rocky a huge rottweiler. But he behaves like a big kitten, he and one of my own cats are the best of friends. DP are all from PinkPrettycoat. The image is coloured with promarkers. The image is by the way from Prairie Fairy Designs which you can find here.
My second card is made with an image from Whiff of joy from last year. DP are all Magnolias. Flowers are prima and wild Orchid crafts. Half pearls from Stämpelgården. This one is coloured with distress inks.
Time for some rest and maybe a little card making as well. The weather here reminds me of fall with lots of stong winds and rain every now and then, so what better do than go and make a card and rest for a little while?
Have a good day everyone!

Marie

Susies & Vikki's X-mas Club
Finally back after one and a half week with a terrible flue. On top of the I had a bunch of posters to make for my cousins oldest son M and for my cousin P who both finish school today. Well now are all of that done and we're going to the party in a few minutes. Feel the stress! :) I just need to enter my card in those challenges and then of we go. With two cranky kids and bad weather. Couldn't it be better?
So the challenge is
Susies and Vikkis Christmas Club - Snowflakes
Now I'm on the way. Kind of getting late.
Have a good day every one!
Hugs,
Marie
