Some flowers from Prima and Kort och godt (available over at Joanna Sheen's). Some net ribbon and the buttons of course.

As always we have a bunch of lovely sponsors that gives away lovely prizes for the lucky ones. This time we have these companies with us.

It's Christmas time again!

Good morning to you all. I'm back with a new card for you. Over at For Fun this week we are having a Christmas Challenge once again. And just as always when it comes to Christmas in the end of the month,  we are sponsored by the lovely Michelle Perkett. Such lovely images.

For my card this week I have used the lovely "Winter" from the Four Seasons set. She is totally adorable. I have coloured her up with my promarkers using only very pale colours in green. I have used some designer papers from Prima in wonderful blue green and red. Great combo! Tons of stickles is also added and I have used a punch from EK Succes together with a ribbon and some snowflakes. I might even manage the stamp limit for one stamp with this one. :)

So come on and join us over at For Fun this week. You know it's not that long before you need to have your Christmas cards done!

Here comes Bearly Mine Challenge; Flowers, Flowers, Flowers

We have a wonderfully easy challenge for you this time just as my title tells you; We had a  Flowers, Flowers, Flowers!

For my card have I used one of last years relizes from Bildmålarna. I truly think that this Tossa stamp is my all time fave from them. Can it has something to do with the flower she's holding in her hand? My favourite flowers! She's paired up with some wonderful papers from Donna's Christmas Wonderland. Love those colours. By the way, Donna has a whole bunch of new sets launching during this week and on top of it all she has a sale going on. You really should pop on over and take a look.

My flowers are from Prima and Wild Orchid Crafts, ribbon as well. The brad was a white one but coloured it in with a promarker. Some card Craft candy in the corner finish it up after a touch of glitter glue on top of them.

As always there is a whole bunch of wonderful sponsors that gives away prizes to the lucky winners.

It's Wendsday again, and it's double posting again

So first off is the For Fun Challenges. This week we are going Back to school and we do that with the lovely people over at Digi Doodles. The prize is a $10 gift certificate to spend in their store. Great isn't it? I for sure think so.

For my card this week I have use the image Day dreamer as I kind of use to do that when I got bored in school. Didn't we all? - smile - She's coloured with promarkers and the designer papers this week is from Prima. I don't remember the pads name at the moment. The flowers is from the same range and the roses is from Kort & Godt. I have used some golden rod (stickles) on the dp to make it a little sparkly, it gave the whole thing some more dimension. The butterflies are cut from left over papers. (Sorry about my picure, the cam battery died on me again.)

I really hope to see you over at For Fun this week.

Bling it on at Bearly Mine's

Another two weeks has passed and it's time for a new challenge for you all over at Bearly Mine Challenges. This time it's really nice and easy as the theme is Bling it on!

For my card this time I made it really easy for me as my hands is on vacation. Well that how it feels anyway. Having trouble to get in touch with my left arm and hand but it's there, I can see it! LoL I used one of the lovely papers from the Christmas Frolics digi sets and I just needed this one as it looks as it has many different designs on it. Perfect! I combinded it with some red ribbon and a few die cuts to get the card a little lighter. I back the sweet Lenny on gold card and added some gemstones in his tree to really let it bling! A few flowers from Prima, Wild Orchid, Kort och gotd and I am roses. Some pearls from Bunny Zoe and I was done. Lenny also got a tiny bit of flower soft on his clothers. Nice and fluffy.

So very easy this week, but I still hope you can get some inspiration from it. Until next time, I look forward to see what you come up with over at the BMC challenges. Oh, by the way my lovely friend Lenny here is from the Stamp Fairy and he has a whole bunch of lovely friends as well. Check them all out over at the Stamp Fairy. This week as well we have lots of lovely prizes up for grabs. How about all of this?

Morning to you all!

A very long night has finally come to an end. Someone that what wants to buy a fighting knee joint? I'm so tired of it! So much for an op, changing from one kind of pain to another. How fun! NOT! OK, I'm done complaining. On the bright side, I made a card during the night. It would have been a big waste of time just laying around doing nothing. So I used the PFP sketch again and came up with this.

The papers are from Papermania and the image is a Mo Maning one, I just adore it. Well I adore all images with cats on it, that's just who I am. Flowers are from Prima and Wild Orchid Crafts. The lace is also from WOC. Coloured with promarkers of corse.

It is time for a new BMC challenge

Hello and good morning! I hope you are having a really wonderful day. Two weeks has passed again and we have a new Bearly Mine Challenge for you. This period  has the theme of

Tag! You're it!

We can't wait to see what you are going to do with this theme. It will be so much fun! I bet there will be a huge pile of cards for us to look at.

For my card I have used a digi from one of our sponsors this week; Whimsy Stamps. It's called Here Fishy Fishy!  So fun and funky! I believe that my cats would look something like that if they got a chance to "explore" a fish tank. It's coloured with promarkers and some detail added with glossy accent. I have used designer papers from Donna's Spring Light again as I love the colours in that set. Some flowers from Prima, brads from Papermania, sentiment from Wildrose studio and the rest from stash finish up this card.

Our sponsors this week, be sure to visit them all.

 Whimsy Stamps - 5 Digi's of the winner's choice

Bearly Mine Designs - 2 Digi sets of the winner's choice

Di's Digi's Downloads - 3 Digi's of the Winner's Choice

Afternoon to you all!

Hot like crazy here today and I have got absolutly nothing done here today. Not a bad thing, I got a surprise visit from my sister in law, mum and two sweet kids. It's wonderful not doing anything just relax.

Lucky for me the weather wasn't that good the other day and then I got a card done. And as I droped by the challenge blog over at TOMIC I saw that my card fitted their challenge this week. Their theme is Shimmer and pearls this time. I got some glitter going on the flowers and then there is some shimmer sprayed on as well but the photo shows absolutly nothing of that. But it's there, and so is the pearls...

This time I have coloured with distress inks for a change, kind of relaxing. Flowers are from WOC, Prima and Kaiser Kraft for a change, pearls from Bunny Zoe. The white corners are also from WOC, but silver in original, covered with some hobby paint from Panduro. DP are from Bearly Mine, Summer's roses.

So with this I leave you today, short and sweet.

Love n hugs
Marie

A tiny bit lost in the days...

Ok, they say it's Wendsday again and I was about to forgot to post. My gosh! What shall I do about myself. Confused is just my first name! The theme over at For Fun this week is

End of the school year
As I don't have any kids going to school nor any graduations around me this year I kind of went for a summer look. We are at least having some vacation from daycare in the beginning of July. A "a few" weeks left, but it will probably pass by fairly quick. We have a long weekend this one with national day on Monday and there is a few extra red days as well in the end of this week. Will be nice to have everyone at home for a little longer, especially since Mats has been working way too much lately.

So this week we are sponsored by the lovely people over at Di's digi downloads. I have colored with my copics this time, in the darkness in the TV sofa, hope it doesn't show too much, or it might be a good thing. :) My youngest doesn't sleep too well, and sometimes the TV sofa is the only place that he can sleeps. Much due to the brace he has to wear when he sleeps.

Anyway, back to the card, colored with copics...some string to represent some boating life, and a few "exotic" flowers, some pearls and leafs and to top it all of a charm from BunnyZoe. The net thingie is also from her lovely store. The dp are from Dovecraft "Back to basic 1" if I'm not totally lost here.

So with this rumblings I end this post here and wish you all the best. The link to the challenge is up in my sidebar, just click it and join the fun!

It's time for a Bearly Mine Challenge again

Good Morning to you all! I nearly forgot it was time to post this challenge. It has already been another two weeks, and we are back with a new challenge for you all. This week we are doing
Die cuts and Lace

Tons of lovely dies and punches out there that you can use for this challenge and I bet there is almost as many different styles of lace as well. I've gone for a fabric one but you might like a paper one. What do I know? :)

As usually we have a lovely bunch of sponsors that support us this time as well. Be sure to pop by and give them your support. Where would we be without them?

Fred She Said - $20 Gift Certificate

Teddy Bo - Teddy Bo Trio

Bearly Mine Designs - 2 Digi sets of the Winner's Choice

With all this said I might show you a card for inspiration as well. Don't freak out now, but I have made a Christmas card. I know we're getting close to summer and all that but I totally fell in love with this image from Crafts and Me and knew I just had to make a card with it. Sometimes you can't help yourself, can you? LoL This wonderful image is called "Gift of Winter".

I have used lots of snowflakes that are punched out by my sons that believes punching is a way of life. They would probably do it for hours if I let them, but being three and four years old I think they should be out and play as well. That is so I can get left alone and keep doing my crafting. ;) The swirls are from a Marianne die, and the sentiment circle is made with two different spellbinders. Before I forgot, the sentiment is from LOTV, but I had to retype it as it didn't fit the style of the card, and it was kind of too small in it's original form, but I felt it was as made for this card so here it is. I have used a left over paper piece to "stamp" the snow flakes on the sentiment circle with Faded jeans distress ink. Suddenly my snow flake stamps had gone for a walk and still hasn't shown up. Hopefully they will be back in time for the rest of my Christmas cards.

I have covered my swirls with diamond dust and the snow flakes are cut in silver mirri board and silver card. All of them has pale blue pearls on them. The swirl stamps are from Whiff of Joy and to have even more bling and swirls I cut up one of the chrystal swirls from Prima. Still lots left to use for another card. Sneaky me! Lace is from Wild Orchid, the pearls from BunnyZoe. And the designer papers are from Bearly Mine's "Christmas Wonderland" and "Christmas Fun" (The lower one)

OK, I better let you go now, I talk waaay tooo much even here in my blog. Never knows when it's time to keep quiet. I hope you enjoy your crafting and pop on over to the Bearly Mine Challenge blog to see what my teamies has been up to.

Love n hugs for you all
Marie

The PaperShelter challenge for this week

Hi and good morning! It's mid week and once again time for the double posting on my blog. It is strange to have to challenges going up the same day. Anyway, the theme for this weeks challenge over at TPS Challenges is fun and brightful, we are all doing
Flower Power
Fun isn't it? I knew right away what image I wanted to use for this one. She is cute in a kind of neardy way and fits perfect to this challenge, meet the "Hippie Girl". Wonderful to colour and for this fun theme it was no problem to get a card together. Have kind of had some mojo problems the last couple of weeks. Mostly because I have so much problems with my neck and shoulders. Just hope that it won't last forever. -smile-

Anyway, back to my card. When I think hippie and flowerpower. Hade made stuff comes to mind, scarfs, crocheted stuff, hand made clothes that are "blinged up" in all sort of ways. So with this in mind I took out some yarn and crocheted a few flowers for my card and combinded them with flowers from Prima and Pentaloo. Also a kind of funky, bright coloured bunch of DP from one of the first scrap kits I ever bought. Never got used to any page in my albums as I got very mad when the papers was folded. No one would buy a folded paper. Nutsy people, I left that club very quickly. LoL. But I am glad I hung on to those papers. Perfect for this card! I have followed the sketch from Friday Sketchers this week. I do hope I remember to link it up when I get back home... -smile-

So now it would be great to see some of your flower power creations. You might even have a different approach to the theme than I have. I would love to find out! Don't forget to use one of the superduper cheep images from the PaperShelter to have a shot on the voucher of $15 that you can spend in the store. Now there is even some digi paper sets up for sale. They do look really lovely.

Till later on today I leave you with love n hugs

The second challenge over at The Paper Shelter

(this is one of two posts today, please scroll down for the For Fun Challenge)

Morning everyone! Such a sweet bunch of cards we had over at our first challenge over at the PaperShelter. I do hope you'll join us again this week. Don't forget to use a PaperShelter image to be in the price draw. A wooping $ 15 to use in the PaperShelter store. How great isn't that? Another week has passed by and here I am with a new card for you all from the cute and whimsical looking images from the Paper Shelter. The theme to follow this week is:

SEEING RED!

For my card this week I have used the lovely looking image called " My lovely Pet". The girl coloured in a bunch of red and orange promarkers and the little doggie in brow, after all there is a limit to how much you can use red on your image. :) My dp are from Bearly Mine as usual. This time from the "Love Dreams" and "Spring Fligth" collections. Flowers are a mix of Prima and Wild Orchid Crafts. The pins are from my stash. Leaf and butterflies from WoodWare punches. Bling stones from Anitas.

Sweet and short this time. Still horrable aces in sholders and neck. I do need to stay off the computer a couple of days. Do you think I can? You right, of corse I can't. LoL But I can give it a try and not be on line that much...

Love n hugs

Another Paper Shelter Card

In the middle of all colds and flues have I now finally managed to get a card together. So much easier when the oldest is home being sick. Then we cuddle down in the sofa with lots of pillows and blanchets watching cartoons and I can do my cards at the same time. At least the colouring part. :)

For this card I have used the fun image "Crocodile Love" from the Paper Shelter. They are coloured with a mix of promarkers and copics. Have also used a white gel pen on the thooth to make them sparkling white. The designer papers are from DCWV digi download, "madly in love". Flowers are from Prima, brads from Joanna Sheen, half pearls BunnyZoe as well as the webb ribbon. Cardwork Card Candy in the corners and leafs punshed with a couple of woodware punches. The pearl hearts are from Wild Orchid Craft. Card stock is from Bazzil.
Now time to dive in to bed again. Being around two sick boys has made me sick, again as well. My back is still killing me as well. Not a very good week this I would say, but it can only get better!

I enter my card to the following challenges:
Papertake Weekly Challenges - Anything goes + flowers
The sisterhood of Crafters - Anything goes
Do it with digis - Valentines
Simon Says Stamp - Love is in the air
Bunny Zoe - Love is in the air

Friday Sketchers meets The Paper Shelter

Hi and hello! MI is back in blogging land! Today I have managed to get a card together for the Friday Sketchers challenge. Their sketchers are always so inspiring and get me some mojo back when it's on the run.

We have had a wonderful winterday here in Kalmar today with a few minus degrees and sunshine. I even took the kids for a walk. I have to pay for that later by taking pills that totally knocks me out but it was so good to be out for a while and enjoy the sunshine!

So the sketch looks like this and it's made by Jorunn. Isn't it great?
For this card I have used one of the sweet images from The Paper Shelter. It's one of the new digis in their shop. She is so sweet. Just had to use her. I have combine her with a sentiment from Lili Of the Valley. She is coloured with my copic markers this time. I dont have that many of those so it's much more easy to grab them and sit down infront of the TV to colour. And yes, I do most of my colouring there in the sofa while I'm listening to the TV. If I don't colour I write or cross stitch. Very seldom sitting down just to watch. Anyway, back to the card. I have used papers from Basic Grey, from the Kioshi pad 6*6. Have added a few bling stones from Prima and flowers and pearl heart from Wild Orchid Crafts. The ribbon used for the bow is also from WOC. I kind of skipped the rest of the ribbon and only used a bow. :)

Time to get ready for the Semi final in the handball's World Cup again. Sweden VC France. It will be an ugly game, just as always when we play them.

Take care for now and love n hugs
Marie

Our second challenge over at Bearly Mines!

Never thought that two weeks could pass so quickly. We are already on our second challenge over at Bearly Mine Challenges. I am sure you want to join us. This week we have a reciepe to follow:

1 IMAGE
2 DESIGNER PAPERS
3 FLOWERS

Not so hard is it? So please come and join us in our game. We have some fabby prices up for grabs this time as well. Our sponsors this week is Peach Keen Stamps that offer one winner a $ 30 gift certificate, The paper shelter of 3 digis of winners choice and our lovely Donna at Bearly Mine offer one lucky winner two digisets of winners choice. Well worth playing for isn't it?

My card is made with one of the lovely images from The Paper Shelter and the Bearly Mine papers I've used is from one of the newest sets called Cheeky Days. Love the colours in those papers. "Little Sylvie" from the Paper Shelter is coloured with my copics and promarker pens. The look a little washed out here on my blop. I need to have a talk to my printer about that. In other words, I must have done something with the settings. :) Flowers are all from Wild Orchid craft and so are the hear pins. Swirls are made with a Marianne Creatable. Brads from Papermania. The butterflies that are stamped is made with a tiny prima stamp. And the fabric butterfly comes from Altheas Mix. Have almost ran out of them by now. :(

With this I leave you for today. I will try to get a better picture of my card later on as soon as the weather is a tiny bit better. Then you'll see that it's a least a little bit brighter than this.  So I leave you now so you can head of to your crafting table and start making a lovely entry for our challenge this time. Take care and enjoy your crafting time!

Love n hugs,
Marie

Long time no seen

Have been making over 30 Christmas cards the last week. Helping a friend out, only had about a week to finish them of and that is done now. Feels good but now I feel kind of empty. I had to hand the cards over last night and did not had any time to take photos, but they are done and away.

Nothing much has been going on here on my poor blog meanwhile so I thought I show a card I been struggle a little with the last couple of days. It's for my mother in law how suffered a stroke a few weeks back. She is one of the lucky ones that is not paralysed or have lost her speash. She says that it feels like having a wound on the inside instead of the outside and she's very tired. But luck I think. I do hope she realizes that herself as well.
So for my card then. The image is from my favourite company Lili of the Valley. The most adorable stamps. I so love the skechy style to them. :) The papers are from Prima and the flat blue flowers as well. The others are from Wild Orchid craft. Is there any better? I am so happy that they have flat round flowers to their range now as well. The lace is also from WOC. Pearls I bought ages ago, from Skaparlusten I thing. My darling image is coloured with my favourite medium, promarker pens. I kind of used last weeks sketch for inspiration as I love it. So thanks for that one.

So why tell all things that I love and adore here? Over at LOTV challenge blog this time the theme is just that "All the things that you love". Here it is LOTV image, flowers and happy designer papers. :) And as the cherry on top, my pearls. :) But the thing I love most in the world is COLOURS! All kind, pastels, brights, dark you name it I love it. :) :) I'm also entering this to the new challenge over at Passion for Promarkers that have the theme of  "Anything goes, just as long as you have used your promarkers or aquamarkers to colour with". The challenge goes on to 4th of January next year. It sounds like forever doesn't it? But it's only a few weeks left. Where does the time go?

So now back to the crafting table. Running a bit late with my youngers brother's birthday card so I have to work a little more on that before I go to bed tonight. But I sure am tired!

Take care and love n' hugs,
Marie

A sketch from Stämpelgården

About a week ago I found this wonderful and easy to work with sketch here at "home", in Sweden that is. This was found at "StämpelgÃ¥rden". Buy a lot of my stamps from there and the service is super. Thanks girls! I mainly go for blogs in the UK and I have kind of promissed myself to keep a little more busy in my "home town" as well. :)
For this little card of mine I have used a Bildmålarna stamp from the new Christmas collection, a little Tossa with a lantern. Really cute! The designer papers are from Bearly Mine Design. I love this deep red paper in the back ground and the little vintage feeling that comes with the paper with the red berries. Some squares to finish it off. I did also use that paper to make the flowers together with some prima and Wild Orchid flowers. A little gold stickles, pearl makers pen in gold (with foot steps from one of the cats. Had to repair down in the corner). Had some golden prints on the floor looked kind of fun, but not so fun that I wanted to keep them. ;) The "God Jul" sentiment is a bargin from Stämpelgården. I love it!

For the inside of the card I have once again gone for the square paper in green, it goes so well with this lovely insert from the digi set "Christmas Inserts". You find it over at Bearly Mine Design. The insert as I told from "Christmas Inserts" and the rest of the wonderful papers are from "Christmas Joy".

Time to deal with my headace. Probably try to rest or go to bed really early today and hope it's gone tomorrow.

Hugs,
Marie

Santa Claus is preparing for X-mas

With only a few weeks left till X-mas is here again, I've let our dear Father Christmas take the spot light for todays card. The stamp is one of the new ones over at Joanna Sheen's. There is a whole bunch of wonderful Christmas stamps in the Giordano stamp range. Fell in love with them the first time I saw them and are still aahhing and ooohhing over them. :)
In the corners I've used a stamp from Stempleglade grunge heart. Flowers are from Prima and Wild Orchid Crafts. My pearl maker pens has also been put to use after just standing at my desk calling out to be used. The ticket stamp is from Magnolia. For the first time in ages I have used my aquarell colours. It was such a joy to get them out again. Have hardly not used them since I had my big period of painting pictures 15 years ago. Have almost forgot how to use them. :)

I enter this card to the following lovely challenges:
* ABC Christmas Challenge - X is for X-mas
*Lexi's Creations - Traditional Christmas Colours
The Stamp man - Christmas

So far it's a really dull day over here in Kalmar and I am not in mood for much. I think I go and find something to watch at the TV and the rest for a while. Get some rest and then hope for some new inspiration to make a card or two. Hope you have a little sunshine where ever you are.

Hugs,
Marie

Just a little something

I've have decorated another little gang of match boxes. The coming weekend it's club championships at Calmare Cat Club and the catshelter "katthemmet Kompis" will be there. I support them and instead of just giving them cards that I've made, I thought that a few of these would be nice to give them. I am so happy that you gave me this idea Annelie! Thanks again!
For this little box I have used two of the new stamps from the Club kit from Magnolia, a flower from Prima and DP from Bearly Mine Design once again. I love those made by Donna. This time I made "handles" from ribbon instead of brads. A little easier to open the small boxes this way.

This is all for now. Take care and have a lovely day!

Hugs,
Marie

Passion for Promarkers, long time no seen...

Every single card I've made recently has been without any stampt images. This is the first image I've coloured in three weeks I think. Hard work to get back to it. :) The theme at Passion for Promarkers this week is "Make your own flowers". I have only made one and I hope that is enough? It's the big rose that is my creation. I made a couple more of them but it got too much on the card. To big and it looked silly. So I decided to combine a few prima flower to keep the rose company. I made the card for a neighbour how turned 50 this week. I've been taking care of their cats when they have been away on  holiday. DP are Basic Grey, flowers MI and prima, swirls from MD, pearls Bunny Zoe, alphas from TH die. And the image is from Whiff of Joy.

So this is all for now. I wish you all the best and have a great weekend!

Hugs,
Marie
