Just 4 fun 10/24

Morning and hello!
Hi, I am back with a card made with one of my latest Magnolia stamps. That doesn't mean that it's new, but I don't buy so many stamps anymore. Anyway, this one is a few years old, if I remember correctly.

I have coloured with my promarkers and I have used an old paper pad from my stash, it's a kind of BuJo paper pad that I have adapted to suit my needs. I like the colours that  the paper pad has in it, so I wanted to (finally) put it to use. I have used a scalloped die cut to frame the image, and used some liquid pearls from Nuvo to decorate it as well as the corners of the card. I have also used a couple of heart shaped enamel dots from Amy Tagerine.

Hope that you find some inspiration from this simple creation of mine.

Mini Monday 5/24

Morning and hello!
Here comes another one of my mini cards. Filled with silver snow flakes stickers. This time have I cross stitched  a little Christmas card.

I have had fun stitching a few small Christmas images with left over fabric and floss. I have had so much fun to making these cards. Why not dig out some stitching material and stitch yourself a little piece of cheer?

Take care and do something that makes you happy!

Flower Friday 4/24

Morning and hello!
Friday again and time for a new card from me. This time is it a flower card that have focus. I don't remember from where I have gotten this wonderful image. I love tulips as they remind me of my granny. She loved these flowers but her favourites was red ones.

I love the pink ones, but these became a little too pink, but still. It's cheerful and happy. For this card have I used some left overs from a couple of Easter paper pads that I am finishing of. There is really only small pieces left of both the pads, but I can probably make a few more cards from the left overs. We'll see. The white Nuvo drops have collapsed a bit for me, but not the blue green ones are still fine. I love the drops as decorations. Nice and fun to work with.

Take good care and do something that makes you happy!

Check it out over at Passion for Markers

Morning and hello!
Hi! It's time for a new challenge over at Passion for Markers. Today is it time for Team 1 to inspire you all and our theme this week is set to "Check it out!" It means that we want to see something check on your creation. Gingham, check pattern etc. That's what we want to see.

Our lovely sponsor this week is the lovely people over at Lili of the Valley. They offer one lucky winner 4 digis of winners choice. Thank you for that!

My card then. I have used the Sweetpea digital stamp that I love. I have coloured with my promarkers and took a dive into my huge stash of Magnolia designer papers and came up with this.

Now my checks isn't that clear as I managed to put my panel with checks on it way too high up on the card. It's the lower panel with lilac. There is also checks on the little bow on my card. I had fun colouring this image and I love how muted the colours are and how they match the designer papers. I hope that you all find some inspiration from my creation and that you will take some time and play along with us over at PFM.

Take good care and do something that makes you happy!

Christmas Cheers 5/24

Morning and hello!
Hi to you all! It's April and the other week did we had a bunch of snow in the South East of Sweden. It's totally crazy and I hope it won't come more of the snow this winter or spring. It was terrible with that snow storm. There was many accidents that day, and the even closed the bridge over to Öland. It was too slippery and two accidents happened on the bridge before they closed it.

Anyway, the snow made me come to something of a Christmas feeling. And this is the result. I played with my sweet winter hippo from hÄnglar and Wings and I paired it up with designer papers from Echo Park. It's not the typical Christmas colours but I like the colour combo in this paper pad. It's great to be able to make Christmas / winter cards in other colours than red, green and gold.

Hope you find a little inspiration form this winter / Christmas card and start your collection that have to be done before December comes around again.

Just 4 fun 9/24

Morning and hello!
Hi! Here is a birthday card I have made for a friend of mine, turning 50. It was a bit fun, as I made this card did I don't know what we should give him as a gift but when that day and he got his gift did we give him a voucher where he will drive a fast car on a racing track. He loves sports cars and have once himself.

I chose between this image and a golf image from Lili of the Valley. Both had been a good match, but this got perfect together with the gift we gave him. I am not really sure which brand my designer papers are from, but it's a dark paper pad with lots of metal looking papers, maps and things like that. It's perfect to make male cards with.

Hope you have gotten some inspiration to make a few male cards. Lili of the Valley have some lovely images with a bit of vintage look to them.

Take good care and do something that makes you happy!

Just 4 fun 8/24

Morning and hello!
Hi! Happy Friday to you all, hope you have had a good week and are ready for the coming weekend.

I have spent a little time creating again. I have used one of the lovely images from hÄnglar and Wings. I don't remember the name of it and couldn't find the stamp set in their shop.

I have coloured with my Promarkers and fussy cut the image and place it on a die cut circle that I have decorated with another die cut in black and under that is a piece of patterned paper. The designer paper is from an Echo Park paper pad. I have also used a die cut border from Lawn Fawn for the middle border. The black Nuvo Drop has spread a little too much but it is what it is. Anyway, I had fun making the card and hope it spread some joy around the blogging world.

Take care!

Monochrome over at PFM

 Morning and hello!
Time again for a new challenge over at Passion for Markers. This week do we have a real challenge for you. Our theme is set "Monochrome". That is one colour + white and black in small dozes if the black isn't the main colour of course. We have a great prize up for grabs this week, so it is well worth giving the theme a try!

Our sponsor this week is Dies to Die for and they offer one lucky winner a gift voucher worth £15! It's an amazing prize for one lucky winner!
Thank you!

As I, once again have some trouble with my hands and fingers which gives me trouble colouring did I get really happy when I came to thing of my little stash of coloured poppies. I have them in a few different shades but I was in the mood for blue shades this time.

I dug out my flowers from my stash and my die cutting up a whole panel with a nice grid of geometric shapes. I had planned to use it for left over small pieces of papers from other projects so I don't have to waste so much lovely papers. However, this time did I use card stock as a back drop for my flowers. I am pretty pleased with the result and got to use a butterfly that I had coloured as well. The flowers is a little too big for my liking, but it's totally ok. Oh, the flowers are by the way from Alternew.

Anyway, I hope that you have had a good Easter and that you now feel up to playing along with us over at PFM.

Have a good week and do something that makes you happy!

Easter fun 3-24

Morning and hello!
This is my last Easter card for this year. I have used another Easter image for this card. It's called Äggjakt. It's so super sweet, the image and the whole set is really sweet.

It's yet another Echo Park paper pad that I have used for this image. It's a spring themed paper pack that I don't have the name off. I have kept this card really simple with only a few paper flowers as decorations. Have a lovely end of the Easter weekend you all!

Easter fun 1-24

Morning and hello!
It's time for a few days off for many of us and it gives me a great excuse to make Easter cards. I love making them, almost as much as I love making Christmas cards. But we never do anything special for Easter.

The image is from hÄnglar and Wings and I find it super cute! The designer papers are Echo park and it's so bright and colourful. Just make me smile. Nuvo drops and some Easter eggs that I have fussy cut and some glitter on them finish this card of mine.

Christmas Cheers 4-24

Morning and hello!
Have you started making your Christmas cards yet? I know, it's March and it's a long time to December, but I can't help myself. I just love making winter and Christmas cards.
The image is from hÄnglar and wings and this little cutie is from the set Snöskoj. It's something with these cute snow people that is hard to resist.

The designer papers is from Echo Park, I don't remember if it's the snowed in or another of the paper pads with lots of blue and some green, snowflakes etc. They are perfect for my snow people. On this card have I used a few die cuts to give the card some interest. A border from Lawn Fawn and the oval that I don't remember where it is from, but I was so happy that it was such a good match in size for my little snow guy. A piece of corrugated card board have I put behind my sentiment that also is from hÄnglar and wings.

Take some time and do something that makes you happy!

Mini Monday 3/24

Morning and hello!
It's time for me to show off one of my mini cards again. I have a whole bunch of these little mouse winter /Christmas cards that I have not shown yet. I made a whole bunch of them during the winter to be prepared for my pen pals X-mas cards.

I have only used different die cuts as to build the little scenery and only some white splatters to add a little extra. I love these cards as they make me smile!

Just 4 fun -7-24

Morning and hello!
Hi! It's time for another card that have made me relax and not think about the pain I have in my left arm /elbow. Anyway, I have used an image that I have coloured ages ago. I don't remember what brand it is from. But it's sweet, isn't it?

I have coloured with my Promarkers and the designer papers are from Echo Park, a lovely spring paper pad or maybe a mix of two as I have almost finished all my spring paper pads. Only small pieces and some whole papers left in them.

I have used my beloved nuvo drops in white and a bow below the image. That's the only decorations on my card. I have used corrugated paper behind the image to make it lift from the papers and to finish it all of have I used a die cut saying "congratulations" in Swedish.

Easter over at Passion for Markers

Morning and hello!
It's Tuesday and time for a new fun challenge over at Passion for Markers. This time are we in middle of March and soon is it Easter. And therefore is our challenge theme very fitting, "Easter". So all your lovely Easter creations is what we want to see this week. Can't wait to see what you come up with!

Our sponsor this week is All dressed up and they offer our lucky winner 2 digis of winners choice.
Thank you so much for that!

The image is called Butterfly Bunny and you find it in the store of All dressed up. Hmm, while writing this I can't find the image in the shop, but it might come back. It's such a sweet and delicate image that I loved to colour and create with. My designer papers are from Echo Park, or maybe Carta Bella, but I think they are Echo Park. Anyway, I went for a little darker designer papers for this card, normally would I have picked something more bright but as I went with a white rabbit was these papers perfect and there is a spring feeling there anyway, or is it just me? LoL

Anyway, I have used the classic to decorate my card: flowers, lace, pearls and gem stones. Can't be any better than that, can it?

Well then, now is it your turn to start creating and don't forget to link up to Passion for Markers. You know that any alco markers are ok now days? Looking forward to visit you all!

Flower Friday 2-24

Morning and hello!
Hi there! It's time for a new Flower Friday. I had a lot of fun making this card as it was so easy to put together for once.

It just came together with an ease. I am not totally sure from where I have gotten the image. I just can't remember from where, it was there but now is it gone again. My brain need a boost to get working again. LoL The designer papers is from LOTV and NitWit. I have also used a punch for a boarder. Some lovely lace and paper roses together with some black Nuvo drops finish this card off. Oh, a butterfly charm have I also used. I have bought way too many charms but it's such a great finishing for a card. I love them! The sentiment is from hÄnglar and Wings.

Now is it time for some rest and some sleep as well. I really need it. The pain make my sleep really bad. Have a good day and take time to do something that you enjoy.

Just for fun 6-24

Morning and hello!
Hi! It's me again and I have been having fun playing with my papers, digi stamps and rubber stamps again. I have had a few hours of colouring a while back and a few weeks ago did I start to make cards with all my coloured stuff. Now do I have to start to colour again as I only have a few left to make into cards.

This image is a real blast from the past, do you remember Sugar Nellie stamps? This is one of a few of these lovely girl faces that they had in their store. I loved them then and I love them now. They are such sweet images that stands out from the rest around during these days.

I have paired this lovely sunflower girl up with some matching designer papers from Maja Design. Such great match! I love it when my papers can pick up on something from my images. Turned out well this time!

Hope you can take some time and do something that make you feel good today!

Just for fun 5-24

 Morning and hello!
It's time for a new card from me, one that I have made just because for the fun of creating. Can't be any better than that can it? I have tons of pain in my hips and need to keep my mind away from it.

The image is from the Paper Shelter but I don't remember the name of it. What I know is that I love this fun and charming image. It's fun to colour and she looks like she is full of mischief. It must be her sneakers that makes she look like that...

This image is coloured with my promarkers and the designer papers is from Maja Design and the tropical days paper pad. I added a die cut boarder and decorated it with a lilac lace. Nuvo drops in white and some fabric flowers make the the card pop. I really love how this card turned out.

Have a great day and do something that make you happy!

Spring colours over at Passion for Markers

Morning and hello to you all!

Hope you all have had a good start of your day and that you are ready for a new challenge over at Passion for markers? Our challenge this week have the theme set to "Spring colours", and I for sure would love to have some spring now. It's so cold during the evenings and I keep freezing the whole time.

We are sponsored by the lovely company Polka Doodles that offer one lucky winner a prize of three digital images of winners choice. Thank you for that!

Well then, for my card have I used the sweet image called Butterfly flowerpots. You find the lovely image in Polka Doodles store. I have coloured with copic markers and spectrum noir markers. After having tried to colour this lovely image a while ago and totally fail it due to my hands acting up again but the other day did I manage to colour it fairly ok at least.

I am so pleased that I chose to colour one of the pots in black, as I have black flowerpots myself, it doesn't always have to be a terracotta pot. :) My designer papers are a mix of Echo Park papers, paper pads that is almost gone. I have mixed them up and also have some Easter papers that is almost gone. A last try to use them a few more times even it it's just scraps left of them. No waste here!

The only decorations on this card is a sweet die cut border from Lawn Fawn and some pearls made by Nuvo Drops in white. There is so many colours going on in this creation so I decided to keep it to a minimum.

Now is it your turn to make a spring card or project. Have fun doing that and don't forget to link up to our challenge blog over at Passion for Markers!

Christmas Cheers 3-24

Morning and hello!
It's the end of February already and I have a new Christmas card to show you all. This is a none colouring card. I have used one of the lovely toppers that Maja Design provides in their paper pads and paper packs.

I decided to use this one to make an A6 card that I hardly never make. It was a good way to use up some left over paper pieces from another project. I don't like to throw away my expensive paper pieces. I try to use up as much as possible and smaller cards is a way to do just that. I have even started to make 10x10 cm cards for the same reason. And I have a bunch of small card bases to use up. It's a win win thing, don't you think? The gemstones and the glitter card pieces is also left overs from other projects. Felt good to make this one and I hope you like it and may be even got a little inspired?

Mini Monday 2-24

Morning and hello!
I am back with another stitched card today. Another Christmas themed card I made in December for a pen pal of mine. I have also used other old stuff from my main stash of threads, aida and card bases. I am believe that I have enough to last me a lifetime.

I did found a bunch of peel off stickers in the huge collection of card bases, I making good use of them as well.

Now time to write a letter or two. Have a good day and do something that makes you happy!

Morning and hello!
Hi! I am back again with a little creation of mine. I found this Sugar Nellie image in my printed stash and just had to make a card with her cute face on it. I have used a paper pad from Simple Stories; Better together or something like that is it called.

I love the dark designer papers with the green addition. I have been in my flower stash again and made a classic flower arrangement on my card. I even remembered to use a charm together with the flowers. And to finish it all off did I tied a bow and added some gemstones to give some extra texture to my creation. Hope you like it! I really enjoyed this blast from the past1

Take care and do something that makes your happy!

Dies and or punches over at Passion for Markers

Morning and hello!
It's that time again, time for a new challenge over at Passion for Markers. Our theme this week is set by me and I have chosen "Dies and/or Punches". A favourite of mine but for some reason was this one a bit hard to put together.

Our sponsor this week is Dr Digis House of Stamps. They offer one lucky winner two digis from their store, your choice.
Thank you for that!

I have used the image called  Nitty Nora.  Wish I could knit but I do know how to crochet and find more joy in that yarn hobby. Knitting have never appealed to me the same way as my crochet hook. But the image was fun and I really want to learn how to knit warm socks! I had fun colouring but my photo didn't come out well. I couldn't access my accounts to do what I normally do. Took a while to get it fixed, my brother was my savour. Anyway, I have used designer papers from Maja Design, Denim Girl. And I used a die from my stash for the border which got covered a fair bit with another die cut from my stash and I wanted to add some punched details as well and ended up with butterflies from a punch from Martha Stewart. I couldn't find anything that suited better. Flowers and butterflies you know.

I hope that I have managed to inspire you at least a bit. Come and play with us over at Passion for Markers. Just make sure that you use some die cuts or punches on your creation. Nice and easy!

Take care and do something that makes you happy!

Flower Friday 2-24

Morning and hello!
Hi and hello! And all that! It's Friday again and I have another flower card to show off. I have coloured with my markers from Winsor and Newton and I have paired my card with designer papers from... well, who knows. I don't have the pad next to me when I write this.

Sorry about the strange photo by the way, I had problems with all the photos taken today. Anyway, I have used some lovely lace that I have used pretty often lately but it's so lovely that I can't help myself. Some gem stones are also added for an extra bling and detail and of course as it is me, lots of layers as well.  Some sparkle here and there on the flowers and I am pretty happy with my card.

Hopefully have I given you some inspiration and do take some time and do something you love!

Mini Monday 1-24

Morning and hello!
It's Monday and I pop in with a little card that I have cross stitched and at the same time did I manage to use up some old card bases I fond in the basement. I have had them stored for ages. I had a quite long time when I stitched pretty much all the time. However when the kids were born and life got a little more busy it had to take second place. On top of that did I start to make cards and scrapbook and that took out lots of time from stitching.

Now am I spending lots of time writing, crocheting and make cards in very unregular periods. Anyway, last December did I found joy in stitching really small motives and made them in to cards for my pen pals. And at the same time did I get to use up some scraps from my stash!

Hope you liked what you saw and that you find some kind of inspiration from it.

Love n hugs

Just 4 Fun

Morning and hello!
Hope you are having a good day today with some time to do something for yourself. I am trying to get rid of some anxiety and keep busy creating cards at the moment. Something that keep my thoughts away from a struggle that goes on at this point. I just wish for some peace and quiet, it would be really nice for a change.

On the good side this week is that I have finished one of my doctor appointments for a while now. I have got help for my jaws and now do I have a chance of getting a better sleep thanks to a specialized dentist. Let's hope it will work out!

This is an image from hÄnglar and Wings and it shows a giant ice cream. The set is called "kulglass" and is a wonderful set of stamps with this huge sundae and the set also have a girl with a large spoon, some cheeries and some sentiment. A fabby set to play with. I had a bit of problems with photographing this card as it have sparkle on the image as well as the designer papers that I can't remember the name of. However the pad has tons of papers and I don't even know why I bought them. I don't like glitter on my designer papers. But the colours in this pad is so soft and lovely. I had to get over the glittery fact. Now do I want a warm summer day and a really good ice cream to that.

Use red and/or hearts over at Passion for Markers

Morning and hello!
It's Tuesday again and time for a new challenge over at Passion for Markers. We're having a really windy day to day, well it's actually the third day with these heavy winds. It's sunny at least!

Well then, our new challenge have the theme of "Use red and/or hearts". A great theme now when we are getting closer to Valentine's day isn't it? I however is not one that celebrate that day in particular but I love hearts!

Our sponsor this week is the lovely people over at Dies to Die for. They offer one lucky winner a gift voucher worth £15. Such great prize isn't it? I wouldn't mind winning it myself.

And now to my creation for this card. I have used a digi image from hÄnglar and Wings that was a bonus image in last years advent calendar. I don't know the name or anything, but it is sweet and it have 5 hearts on it so I thought I would use it.

She is coloured with my alco markers of different brands. A great mix of them all, but mainly promarkers. I have been digging around in the mute colour shades and got happy when I realized that I have coloured the image to match up with this paper pad from Pink Paislee Indigo and Ivy.

I had fun using some paper roses to decorate my card. I have also used a silver charm shaped as a heart. A die cut heart is also used to decorate my card. Some pearls and Nuvo Drops in white on my lace border.

I did have fun making this card and I hope you will find some inspiration from my creation and come and play with us over at Passion for Markers. Remember the theme is Use red and/or hearts.

Have fun creating!

Christmas Cheers 2-24

 Morning and hello!
Here comes a new Christmas card from me and this is my second Christmas card for 2024. I have had this image coloured for quite some time by now and it was time for the image to get to be the focal point on a card. The image is from Magnolia, Sweden.

I have use a blue paper pad from Crafters Companion. I don't remember what it's called. It's filled with blue, grey and silver coloured designer papers. It's really lovely but a bit hard to match with each other as it is quite strong colours

Anyway, I have also used a part of the corrugated cardboard as a back drop to the image. It is a great match for Christmas images in my mind. Pearls and chrystal clear snowflakes and a silver corner is also added to the mix. A sheer ribbon with white dots is also used to finish off my Christmas card. Hope you find some inspiration from it.

Take care and do something that you enjoy!
