A little Christmas cheers

Morning and hello!

Hi there! Now are we in the middle of September and we just have a couple of months left of 2026. My favourite time of the year is coming up, Christmas! While I am waiting for the Holiday do I keep busy making Christmas cards. :)

The image is from Lili of the Valley and I totally adore this image. It's the cutest one in a long time. I had fun colouring with my promarkers and pair the image up with some Maja Design papers. 

An old punch from Martha Stewart is used on the lower panel and some die cut snowflakes decorate the card with some Nuvo drops. Love how that turned out, also the ones in the corners. A ribbon and some tiny images from Maja design finish up the details on the card. Love how it turned out. Maybe a bit too much red? Oh, well too late to fix that now.

A card just for the love of creating

 Morning and hello!

Hi there! I have been playing with paper and markers again. The image is from Lili of the Valley. Love these supercut gals! They are fun to colour and play with. I managed to wash out the colours of the card for some reason. It is much more sparkly IRL. 

The designer papers are from Simple stories but I can't remember what the paper pad is called. It's a very colourful paper pad at least. The old punch from Martha Stewart have been working again. I have a big butterfly in sparkly colours and some fabric flowers is also added as details for the card. Some gemstones finish the whole thing off. Hope you like what you see and maybe get some inspiration to create something as well.

For my card have I used one of LOTV's sweet images. It's called Bunny Girl. It's super sweet! Had fun coloured with my copics this time. I had a bit of trouble finding pastel designer papers for a while but in the end did I find a paper pad from Echo Park called Happy Birthday or something like that. 

I just added a few pearls to the card. The only decoration for this card. I am lacking a bit of energy at this point, so now will I have a bit of rest before I come and visit you and see the wonderful creation you have made with pastel colors!

Christmas Cheers 6/24

Morning and hello!

Hi there! I am back with a new Christmas card. I know that it is May today, but you know me, Christmas cards is my jam! This time have I used an image from Lili of the Valley. I have paired the wonderful image with a paper pad from Poland if I am correct.

As the print on these papers are pretty bold have I not used as many layers as I normally do. But I have used a piece of corrugated cardboard as a backdrop to the image. A few paper flowers and leaves together with a bow and a charm is my decorations for the card. Hope you like it!

Just 4 fun 9/24

Morning and hello!

Hi! Here is a birthday card I have made for a friend of mine, turning 50. It was a bit fun, as I made this card did I don't know what we should give him as a gift but when that day and he got his gift did we give him a voucher where he will drive a fast car on a racing track. He loves sports cars and have once himself.

I chose between this image and a golf image from Lili of the Valley. Both had been a good match, but this got perfect together with the gift we gave him. I am not really sure which brand my designer papers are from, but it's a dark paper pad with lots of metal looking papers, maps and things like that. It's perfect to make male cards with.

Hope you have gotten some inspiration to make a few male cards. Lili of the Valley have some lovely images with a bit of vintage look to them.

Just for fun 30-23

 Morning and hello!

Hi! I am back today with a little creation I have made to keep me busy. I believe this image is from LOTV. I have had it colored for years to be honest and have not known what to do with it or how to use it. Even if you love your image can it sometimes be hard to get it on to a card, or another fun project.

I have paired this image up with designer papers from both Echo Park and Carta Bella. It has become a cheerful card with happy colors and a perfect card for one of my nephews. I have used a ribbon from Shien or Temu. I found this ribbon to be a charmig addition to my card making stash. I have also used some nuvo drops in white. 

My die cut letters are made with a lovely set of dies from Magnolia, Sweden. A decent price for these dies, around 140:- SKR. They will be very useful in the future. I bought three different letter die cut sets from Magnolia. Perfect size for cards and planners. I just love them!

Well, this is all for today. I wish you an enjoyable day and do take some time to do something that makes you happy. I will spend the rest of the day writing letters!

JFF25-23, Just for the fun of it!

Morning and hello!

Here comes a new creation made by me. This image is from Lili of the Valley, a favorite of mine from that brand, I have paired my image with some really lovely and old papers from Bildmålarna. They are no longer in business, and I still miss them like crazy. They had fantastic images in their stamp range.

Anyway, this is a summer card for me. I have also used a punch from my stash. Some old gem stones shaped as butterflies, some clouds and to that some Nuvo drops with golden glitter. 

Hope you like what you see and find some inspiration from my creations!

Traditional Christmas colours over at PFM

 Morning and hello from a snowy Sweden!

-8 degrees and it's snowing again when I write this. We have about 2,5 dm of snow and soon will it all be gone again. And today should the carpenters started to change our roof. What great planning! The worst thing is that we had 17 degrees last weekend. Totally nuts!

Ok, we have a new challenge up for you over at Passion for Markers. This week's theme is "Traditional Christmas colours". Perfect timing, right? Around a month before Christmas today and time flies by fast. I think I will have a few more cards to make and send.

I have not used a sponsor image this time, had to use something that I already had coloured as I am in a fight with my fingers/hands. They are not working properly at this time. Wonder how long that will last.? Anyway, I have used an image from LOTV that I find super sweet. I have coloured with my promarkers this time. I like the red colours best from that brand. 

I have paired this jolly fellow up with some designer papers from We R M called silver and gold if I remember right. I really need to start writing down what I use in my projects. A golden, red and green ribbon from my stash match up perfect with my papers. Some glitter glue from Nuvo is used as well as a few golden sticker stars and a few pearls in a deep red colour for the tree. The final touch comes from some golden gemstones. A white gel pen is also used for some extra details. 

Well, I think this is all from me for now. I hope you take some time to come and play with us. It's a really easy theme and fun to play along with a few challenges, Take care and do something you enjoy!

Christmas Cheer 10-22

Morning and hello!

It is already time for a month to come to an end. This time is it october that will close it's door. I have made a Christmas card that I have used some old stash together with a fairly new image from LOTV. It is always nice to use up old stash and this time it's some of the paper pad Nordic Christmas or something like that from Dovecraft I believe. 

I don't remember the name of the image either which is typical of me. All the strange dots in the photo is from my glitter pen that has a really glittery effect when I use the flash to take a picture. I have also used some ribbon on my card and then put a strip of paper that is left over from the same paper pad. Makes it look like it is a very fancy ribbon don't you think? To finish of the card have I used some Nuvo Drops with some pearl finish and it looks stunning on the card.

Christmas over at Passion for Markers

Another week have passed and it's time for Team 1 to share inspiration for a new challenge over at Passion for Markers. This week's theme is set to "CHRISTMAS". It's not that long before we December here again and by then at least I need to have a huge pile of cards ready. I have never enough of cards for Christmas. :)

For my card then, for once have I used a sponsor image. I need images that is easy to colour at this point and this little birdy one was perfect even if I printed it a little larger than I normally do. I have coloured with my promarkers and coloured very simple. After putting colours to the birds an their cracker did I dig out a very old paper pad from WRMK called silver and gold. The paper pad was a great match to the coloured image. 

I have used some ribbons to decorate the card. I used two in the same colour of green and then added a bow under the image. If I feel like it can I put a sentiment over the image later on when I know for who the card will be sent too. I have also used up some of my dots, not enamel or pearls or gems, just dots in a mat colour of red that I love. It was a great match to the paper and image.

Christmas Cheer 13-21

Morning and hello!

I am working on my Christmas cards and I love it. It's so my favourite cards to create. You can do them as detailed as you wish or as clean and simple you wish and everything in between! This is an image from Lili of the Valley. I don't remember the name but it is really cute and it was really nice to be able to colour an image from LOTV. They are a bit harder for me to colour for some reason but now when they are digital I can make them a bit larger than the rubber stamp versions that I have many, many of. They are lovely with a vintage look. Anyway, this little one makes me smile.

I have used a paper pad from Maja Design, one of the paper collections from last year called Traditional Christmas. The design is simple and quite clean. I think it will be a good card for my youngest nephew for his first Christmas. I think however that I will add a few more snow flakes to the card before I send it away. As always have I used a few different Nuvo Drop colours. The sentiment stamp is from Gummiapan. Gemstones finish the image off in the Santa hat!

Morning and hello!

How are you? Are you having a good week so far? I hope so. I have been playing a bit with some digital images from LOTV. Don't ask what the image is called because I don't know but I loved to colour this one. It was a joy. 

However I had a bit of trouble finding out what designer papers I should use to match the image up. I ended up with a traveling themed paper pad from Echo Park. The dots could go as wall papers from the'80s right?

The black spots are Nuvo Drops in black. I also used up a piece of black ribbon with stitches on it. A very clean and simple card when it comes to details, but fun to make.

Lace

Such wonderful theme we have for you over at Passion for Promarkers this week. The theme set by my lovely teamie is "LACE". Isn't that just wonderful for a theme? I love lace and have to keep myself from using it on every card I make because they would pretty much look the same then I think. But today it's ok to use it, and then I make a really simple card.

I have used James the bear from Lili of the Valley. This old is an favourite of mine and I coloured quite a few last year of them. Hope I don't send him to someone who has already gotten him on a card. LoL I have paired him up with the wonderful Paper pack from Dovecraft called Krafty Christmas once again. I love this pack, such lovely mix of craft, red, white and blue. I took inspiration from sketch 80 I think from PTW and started from there. I have really gone overbord with all the flowers on this one. Two different kind of glitter glue from TH is used. Red and Picked fence. Some pearls from Bunny Zoe and the lace comes all the way from my friend and teamie Gail over at the Paper Shelter.

Last minute again

Hi and hello! Just got back from my MIR and a little trip to a store that makes and sell ceramics. Tons of lovely stuff there. Good to go there and look without the kids. Relaxing, and I am so happy these exams are over with now. Hate going into that X-ray mashine. Now I just have to find out what is wrong with this back of mine. :)

So over at Passion for Promarkers the theme is to alter something, and it should not be square. I took an old lamp shade for a tea light and fixed it up for the coming season. As I want to take part in the LOTV challenge this week as well, with the theme Let it snow, I used one of the cute teddies out in the snow and some snow flake designer paper from the supermarket. Yepp!  I know, super market of all places, the paper is single sided and I really wanted that and it's not to thick either. Some wooden snowflakes from BunnyZoe and roses from WOC is my decorations together with a piece of lace. I've got to teddy bears on the lamp shade and to "fields" with snow flakes on them.

This was a long wait!

Hmm, Mr Blogger has been playing with me again and wouldn't let me write my post until now. Long wait from the morning. I have just been playing around again, trying to get the amouth of Christmas cards that needs to be done to a just little fewer. Long way to go here, about 70 more or so. LoL

This time I followed a very lovely and nice sketch from The sweet stop sketch challenges. I have used one of the lovely christmas stamps from last years collection from LOTV, coloured with copics and papers from Dovecraft. Some snowflakes made with a MS punch and Woodware, some golden pearls from BunnyZoe and a rose from WOC finish the whole thing of. My sentiment is from Magnolia I believe.

Good Morning to you all!

It's Wendsday again and by that you know it's double posting here in "MI" blogspot. So this is the first one here today. I'm starting off with The Paper Shelter challenge which is a sketch by Kevin. Feel free to rotate the whole thing, we just need to be sure to see the sketch in your design.

As always, be sure to use a PaperShelter image to have a shot at the fabby prize that is up for grabs every week at the challenge. A $15 voucher to use in the TPS store.

This was a really hard card to get together. This is my third attempt. The first two ones went in the waste basket quicker than glue dries! :) First one did I mess up myself, the second one ended up with cat  foot print on it and then some blood from a wound on the cat. Too bad it wasn't on my pirate card from last week. LoL Then it could  have worked out anyway.  After this totally crazy card making seans I didn't have any energy left for colouring any more images, so I went with this pre coloured lovely image called "Pretending to be a mum". The sentiment is from LOTV, flowers from Wild Orchid Craft and pearls from BunnyZoe. My DP are from Bearly Mine Design and is called "Summer's Lace Dream". The swirly stamp is from Stempelglade.

Some time for myself

It has been a wonderful day so far! The boys are at day care and I have been able to relax for the first time in ages! So lovely! I got into X-mas spirit again and used the simple sketch from Friday sketchers this week and combined it with DCD X-mas Club which has the them of poinsettia this week. First time in ages I've been able to play. The image is coloured with my not (so far) friendly Copic pens. The image is from LOTV. DP are from Dovecraft and the flowers are from Wild Orchid Crafts. I just replace the middle of them with golden pearls instead of the yellow middle they had.
