Die cuts over at the Paper Shelter

Morning and hello! It's time for yet another post here in my little card making corner of the world. The only problem is that I don't have my card ready at this moment. I have some bad trouble again with my joints as I had to quit taking the meds I have struggled with during the winter. I can't be in the sun without reacting to it and it doesn't have to be much of it. It's like having burn blisters under your skin. There is better things in life.

Anyway, the theme for this week is set to "Die Cuts" so our theme should be an easy one. Just use a few die cuts on your creation and you are good to go. You don't even have to do any colouring on your creation. Just add a few die cuts!

For my card have I used the image called A cheerful Hummingbird. I have used Veros pre coloured image and it's really good  quality just like all the Paper Shelter images. I highly recommend you to try them out if you have not already. You always get the pre coloured image as well as the out lined version.

I have used an old Kaiser Craft paper pad for this card. It was a perfect back drop to the colours of this image. I have used a bunch of die cuts that I had laying around. Like the Magnolia border die, the butterflies, the frame and flowers. Some glitter right on top of the gesso on the butterflies gave them a bit of structure and a doily for another fun layer. And add to that a bit of wonky adding of the layers and it's a more playful card than it would have been with straight lines.

As always do we have a gift voucher worth $30 for a lucky winner. That is if you use a TPS image. Playing with another brand gives you the chance of winning three digis of your choice.

Banners or anything goes X-mas over at TMCC

Morning and hello! How are you doing? I hope everything is OK and that you have gotten some sunshine in your life. The spring is here. How I know? Soccer season is in full bloom.

Still even if spring is here I keep going with my Christmas projects. This time it's a bit simple but from time to time you have to do those projects as well. Our new weekly challenge is up over at The Merry Christmas Challenges. The theme this week is Banners or Anything goes Christmas.

These are a few cards/tags for gifts. I normally make a bunch of small cards for my pen friends. Yes, I still have this old fashioned hobby. I totally adore getting real letters in my little cabin shaped mailbox. It's the best thing. As good as getting a home made card in my letterbox. LoL These ones are made so I can use them as either cards or tags. I have left some plain inside and some has some sentiments. But as I prefere to keep them personal I will not show that.

But now I hope that you feel a bit inspired to make a project for our new challenge over at The Merry Christmas challenges this week. Anything Christmas or banners also Christmas themed.

Take care and do something that makes you happy.

Love n hugs

Celebrations over at Passion for Promarkers

Morning and hello! Hope you are having a good week so far. It's time for me to show up here in the blog world again. I have a few card that I could show for you but for now will it be these ones as needs to be scheduled. So here we go! We have a really lovely theme here over at Passion for Promarkers this week. Our theme is set to celebrations.

And our sponsor this week is The Paper Shelter, so you will all see a whole bunch of TPS cards this week. They will also give one lucky winner a lovely prize of 3 digis. You will be one luck winner as the images are fantastic.

For this card have I used a lovely image that is called Wrapped in cotton. A perfect image for a cat lover just like me. I love the lovely cosy look of this image, it makes me smile and think about Bullen who we lost three monts ago. Anyway, back to the card then. I have coloured with my Letraset/Winsor/Newton markers. I kind of started light but then started to mix up all the colors and mixed colours that I normally wouldn't use together. Anyway, for some kind it ended up in a good way. I really love the out turn of the card. I had fun making the card. My first in quite some time. Wish I had some stuff down here in the basement so I easy colour start doing me coloring and have my stugg with me. A bit off topic again, aren't I ? Sorry about that.

The designer papers I have used for this card is from Victoria. I used some leftover paper pieces that have been laying around for a really long time. They are colourful and quite lovely. Maybe I should start doing more cards with this paper pack. Well, there is always so many pads waiting just around the corner. The only decorations for this card is some paper flower and a few tiny butterfly. Really pretty. Love the colours in this card as well. Two cards that makes me feel happy. The stamp saying Grattis is from Gummiapan. I need to stock up on their text stamps. Really good sizes.

Oh well I need to finish this post off for today. Anyway, do play along with us. The only must is that you use your Letraset /Winsor and newton marker. Then you have a chance of winning the fabby TPS prize of three digis. Come on and let us see all of your fabby celebration creations. It will be a joy to come and visit your blog and leaving you some love.

Take good care and do something that makes you happy!

Cute Christmas Critters over at Winter Wonderland

Morning and hello! Friday again and time for a new challenge over at the Winter Wonderland today. Our theme is set to "Cute Christmas Critters". It shouldn't be that hard to get the inspiration going. :)

We have all gotten some lovely images from our sponsor called

and the prize on offer is three images of the winner's choice

I have used the sweet image called Cool Winter Penguin With Snowman and coloured it with my Letraset / Winsor and Newton markers. It was nice with an easy coloured image as it has been a busy week with lots of meetings and doctor appointents.

I took a dive into my stash of left over decorations that I keep at my desk and got some stuff used up. Like a bunch of snow flakes in different shapes and sizes. Magnolia fences, some card candy etc. Made a fun colourful Christmas card for a kid.

Anyway, I hope that you come and join us for our challenge this two week period and have some fun with our Christmas challenge.

Take good care and do something that makes you happy!

Love n hugs

Flowers over at The Paper Shelter

Morning and hello! It's time for a new challenge over at the Paper Shelter today. I missed out on the last challenge so I feel more than ready for this one. It's hard when you body decides that you can't do what you really want to do. But for this challenge have I had plenty of time to finish of and I didn't have that much pain during the weekend the week before. So a card got done. You might want to know our theme this week? We are going for the theme of flowers. Nice and easy isn't?

For this card have I use the lovely image called Enchanting Butterflies. I have used my winsor/Newton former known as Letraset. I printed the image with my Epson 940 photo printer. It's a good printer as long as you use the original inks in it. It can't be too much alcohol in the ink when you colour with markers that has alcohol in them. They will smudge. Ok, got side tracked a bit here.

Back to the card, it's coloured with my markers as I said and I paired the image up with some designer papers from LOTV/NitWit collections. Up and away I think the pad is called. I tried to go with lots of light colours in pastels. Looks really nice and fresh if you ask me. I used a few of all the flowers that I have laying around in my stash. This time I went for the cherry blossoms. Nice and pastel coloured. I did use a few leafs that I painted with a white acrylic paint. And after a few minutes when it had dried for a little while did I spray them with a spring green mist from H.S. I think the colour is called sea foam or something like that. Doing this made them look a bit more pasellish. And the shines lovely. :)

I am happy about this card. Love how it turned out and the colours are really pretty. Well it's done now and my crafting goes on. At least that what I am hoping for as I have quite a lot of pain my my finger joints at the moment. I hope that you will come and join us over at the Shelter this week and have fun with our challenge. It's nice and easy as you only have to add some flowers to your creation. I really hope to see you there.

As always do we have a gift voucher worth $30 if you play with our brand. Playing with another brand gives you the chance to win three digis of your choise. Really nice isn't it? It would be wonderful if you would play with any of our great images and they are great to colour and if you don't have any time to colour you can always use the pre coloured image. Nice and easy!

Take good car of yourself and please do something that makes you happy!

Love n hugs
Marie

Trees or Anything Christmas over at TMCC

Morning and hello! Time for a new fun challenge over at the Merry Christmas Challenge. Our optional theme this week is Trees or you can always use our Anything goes theme if you prefere that. I have some trees on my card so I think I can say that I follow the theme for once. :)

I have used my Lawn Fawn stamp and die set called Winter Village. I have used some left over from a few cards that I made before Christmas. I never got the inspiration to finish all the pieces I had prepared and the design is pretty much the same as the cards I made by then. I am glad that I managed to use up a bunch of left overs again. The scalloped frame is a die that I have no name for. Don't really know where I have gotten it. But the size is perfect for cards like these and make it possible to make cards that doesn't cost a fortune to send either.

I have coloured the tiny little images with distress inks and have stamped in archival ink in some kind of brown shade that I love. I can't remember what it's called at the moment and I don't have any energy to go checking either. :) The hill shapes are also from Lawn Fawn by the way. The text sentiment is from Bildmålarna if I'm not misstaken.

Well then, now it's time for you to get your Christmas stash out and start making a card or two for the challenge. You know that you will really soon need those cards. December is here sooner than later even if it doesn't feel that way right now.

Take care everyone and make sure to spend some time doing what you love!

Love n hugs
Marie

Blooming days over at PFP

Morning and hello! It's time again for a new challenge over at Passion for Promarkers and I hope you are ready for my new theme that I have set for this week's challenge. The theme is set to "blooming days" at that means we would like to see at least one or two flowers on your creation. Should not been that hard, right?
Denise Morgans foto.

We are sponsored by All Dressed Up stamps which is offering two digis to a lucky winner. Thank you so much for that! And good luck to all who enter our challenge.

I have done some stash bashing again and used a bunch of old supplies for my card. But in this speed I will be 104 before it really shows that I have used anything. Only thing that I can notice that I have less of is white cardstock. LoL Anyway, what I have used is an old paper pad from First Edition called Spring Drop. The image is from Bildmålarna but I can't find what it's called.

Sorry about the mega bad photo. I didn't realize how bad it was until I added it. Will try to fix it...

I totally adore this image as it remind me of my granny who was always hanging her laundry outside. As soon as the spring winds was on, the laundry was out. And I can't for my life figure out how she managed to carry out all of that wet stuff and then back into the house again. I have a way shorter way between my garden and laundry room than she had and I wouldn't for my life carry out the laundry even if my life was depending on it. LoL

I did actually use some of my super seldom used Letraset cardstock to stamp my image on. I have about one and a half pad left of that suff and I can't ever replace it with any better paper. So much better than all the rest. Why, whhhyyy did you stop making it? :(

I grabbed a bunch of flowers from my stash and did some kind of decoration with them. There is also some ribbon in white and a lace bow. A bunch of pearls from PY-hobby and so is the charm hidden in the flowers. I used my butterfly punch from Martha Stewart as well. The only thing fairly new on this creation is the piece of lace. So pretty proud of myself, making use of all that old stuff. Maybe I should give some more away, but for now I am happy using stuff up on my own. ;)

Anyway, now take some time and play along with us. You need to use your Winsor & Newton former Letraset markers of any kind to have a chance to win our prize of the week and some lovely comments from our brilliant team!

Take care and do something that makes you happy!

Love n hugs
Marie
