Make it digital

Morning and hello! How are you all doing? I hope you had a fabby week so far. I am still working my way through pain hoping not thinking about it will make it go away. You can always hope, can't you?

Well it's Tuesday today and we have a new challenge up for you over at Passion for Promarkers. You know that it means that you can of course use the Winsor and Newton markers as well as they have taken over Letraset! It's my turn to host the challenge or at least set the theme. And I have chosen a nice and easy theme: Make it digital. That means that we want to see a digital image on your creation. Nice and easy as many of us crafters are using digital images now. You still have to colour with the Promarkers or if you like me have a few of the Trias left as well or the aquamarkers are ok as well.

TO BE Continued

And now to my card. It was quite some time since I did some colouring but for this card did I find the cutest image in a long time. It's called I'm a little star and comes from Sassy Cheryl's. I totally adore this image and it was so fun to colour this image. I think I have to make a few more cards with this image as well. I have used my mixed collection of markers from Letraset and Winsor & Newton. I have also added a few pencils as I tend to be to heavy on hand. It covers some of the mess up. :)

I have also bought one, well ok then, two of the Lawn Fawn paper pads. And once again I am totally in love with this fabby pad called Perfectly Plaid Winter. The colour combo is just smashing with it's grey and blue colour combo. I just love it and it makes my totally yellow/golden star to pop out really well from my card.

I used quite a few die cuts on this card. Both the circles from Spellbinders and then the fabby sentiment dies from Lawn Fawn as well. I cut those three times. Two in blue and once in black. That adds a nice shadow to the sentiment saying "Be Merry". The snow fakes are a mix of die cuts and punched out snow flakes. From Martha Stewart and Lawn Fawn I think. Some pearls are finishing the centers of those off, and that is all. :)

Well crafters out there, I hope you come and play with us as and don't forget to colour with the right markers to have a chance on the prize.

Wishing you all the best and do something that makes you happy!

Love n hugs
Marie

Pearls, gems and or enamel dots

Morning and hello! Running a tiny bit late once again as I have the really bad pain going again. But finally here and done with this weeks project. Not the best I've done but it's something. Our theme over at the Paper Shelter this week is "Pearls, gems and or enamel dots". Nice and easy it should be I think...

Well since I am in terrible pain at the moment I have gone the really really easy way this time and used a few of the soccer themed images for a project life page for my youngest. I have left the photo a bit blurry on purpose as I don't like to have them posted with clear head shots. You can still see but not perfect.

I have used both enamel dots and shapes on this padge as I think it's an good embellishment for the pocket pages. There is also some wood weeners and some die cut stars as decorations. Plenty of stickers is also used both as letters and as sentiments on some of the photos. The padge is all about my youngest playing a huge soccer tournament together with the boys in our club that is a year older than him. It was his second time playing this tournament and he still hasn't been playing the tournament with his own team. Last year he was two years younger than the rest of the players. Next year it's time to play with his own team, but I wonder if that will top this tournament as they did really well and didn't loose a single game.

Well that's all for now. Take care and do something that makes you happy!

Embossing - wet or dry

Good afternoon and hello! A bit late am I finally posting my dt-project for the Winter Wonderland challenge: Embossing - wet or dry. I had to dig deep into my stash to find my embossing folders but that is not why I am running late today. I have been back to work this week and no one have explained that we had tons of work to do to prepare for a Formex show next week. Wasn't prepared for that. But now I am back on track. LoL

I have used the sweetest snowman from Stamping studio and it's called You have my heart. A very sweet image and a great image to use many times. I will for sure make a few more Christmas cards with this cutie.

The card is very simple with a snow flake embossed back ground. To that did I die cut the image and then one more layer, all in white. A turquoise ribbon, a snowflake charm with some white twine. A few pearls to add a little more dimension.

Stamping Studio is proud to sponsor for you! The prize is one image from each artist. Join us at our Facebook group Stamping Studio for freebies and specials. Please also share your card with us at our Facebook group Stamping Studio."

Well this is all for me for today. Take care and do something that you enjoy!

Pretty Pastels

Morning and hello! It's time again for a new challenge over at Passion for Promarkers. This time do we have the theme of "Pretty Pastels" and as long as you use your Letraset/Promarkers/Winsor&Newton markers you are good to go.

Otherwise no chance on the lovely prize from Little Miss Muffet stamps who offers the winner a $6 voucher to spend in their store.

And now to my card for the week. For quite some time now have I had this stamp and dieset from Lawn Fawn thinking that I will used them to make a bunch if easy going cards. But the time is never there to play around just for fun, so today did I decide to use them for Lisa's Pretty Pastels' challenge. Crayons comes in all coloures so it made it a good choice to play around with the stamp/die set.

Some colouring with my markers and some pencils to highlight the shadows a tiny bit. Then I got my die cut mashine to work using mainly dies from Lawn Fawn to create my little scenery. I went a bit heavy on the pearl acrylic paint but now I learned to next time. Stop in time and don't over do it. That paint has been stored for quite some time as well. Hmmm... buy less, use more? Maybe next year... LoL

The designer papers are from the pad Up, up and away by Nitwit and LOTV. It's not as much left on that now. All the favourites are gone but I am working my way down to the rest of them as well. I covered the mid section of the card with some vellum to give the crayons a bit of a rest in some softer coloured back ground. Kind of happy with the design, but next time COLOR will be in different colours... You always learn something don't you?

Take care and do something that makes you happy!

Blooming days

Morning and hello, well a bit late but still... We have a new challenge up for you all over at the Paper Shelter today and the theme is nice and easy as we have set it to Blooming days. So add a few flowers to your creation and you are good to go. You can enter our challenges up to three times and one of those creations needs to have a TPS image on them. So even if you are without any of theses fabby images you can enter our challenge here.

For my card today have I used the fun image Enjoy the summer and you find it here. It's coloured with a mix of promarkers and copics. I am quite annoyed as my pens keeps bleeding and I am tired of it. It was close to the bin again. I decided to look the other way. I have use an First edition paper pad, First leaf or something like that. I hardly every use those papers as I think they have too much structure on some of them. Don't like that. But I like the colours in this pad at least.

I have used some hemp string, dew drops in brown and of course some flowers as the theme is about flowers this time around. That is what I have used for decorations this time.

As always we have a gift voucher up worth $30 when you play with the Paper Shelter brand. Playing with another brand gives you the chance of winning 3 digis of your choice.

Well, now is it time for me to lay down and relax a bit and then maybe even drag myself to the gym and do some cardio. But that is just a big maybe.

Take care and do something that makes you happy!

Fun in the Sun!

Morning and hello! I am back again after a very long weekend with tons of soccer in the village of Vimmerby. My youngest have been playing with a team of older boys and has done a great job. We will be back again next year. Third time in a row!

But today it's all about card making again. We have a new challenge over at Passion For Promarkers and the theme is "Fun in the Sun". I went with a soccer card as it is way more fun to play and watch when it's a bit of sunshine.

I have used the Soccer trio from Lili of the Valley and coloured with my Letraset/Winsor & Newton markers. I dugg around my digital papers and found my mini theme from Echo park and used that. Some wooden stars and a few card candies are the decorations for the card together with some letter stickers from Panduro.

Sponsoring this challenge is Sasayaki Glitter. And the prize is one digi of winners choice.

Well, sweet and short today as I feel a bit off since the weekend. A ton of energy is used even if it's not me who plays. LoL

Take care and do something that makes you happy!
