Winter or Anything goes over at Creatalicious Challenges

Morning and hello!
It's almost December and each end of the month we have a new challenge up for you over at Creatalicious challenges as well as the 15th of each month. This time we have the theme set to "Winter or as usual Anything goes".  You can enter our challenges up to three times per challenge.

This time we are sponsored by

Prize  offered is 3 digital images

We are a small creative team writing and illustrating fantasy adventure and children's books. We love to draw fun and amusing characters, and are happy to offer them to you as digital stamps. We hope you like these digital images and they help make your creations bright, interesting and memorable!

For this card have I used the very detailed image called Winter fairy. I really should have coloured with pencils for this one but force of habit got me going with the promarkers. It has bled some even if I use some heavy card for the image. I have printed the image large but the markers are not dealing well with this kind of image. Sorry about that. What however worked out great was my spica glitter marker in silver that added perfect winter details to the image as it is really sparkling nice.

The paper pad is from ScrapBerry's and is called A taste of winter. It has some lovely prints to it, even if some are a bit to detailed for me. But you can always use them as back ground prints or back drops for photos on layouts. As both the image and the papers has many details have I just used a few sequines as decorations for this card.

Anyway, even if this post is a bit low in energy I hope that you take the chance to play along with us and take the chance to win some lovely images from Fabrica Fantasy.

Take good care and do something that makes you happy!

Love n hugs
Marie

Blast from the past over at the Paper Shelter

Morning and hello!
Time for a new challenge over at the Paper Shelter as it is midweek already. This week we have the theme of "Blast from the past". An image that is more than a year old or more is a good choice for this week's theme.

I have used both an old paper pad and an old image from the Paper Shelter called Heavenly Christmas Carol. It's a favorite of mine that I dig out from time to time. It's nice and easy to colour and it always makes a lovely card. The paper pad is from My Mind's Eye and is called The merry days of Christmas. It's from waaay back, 2011 I think I saw somewere on the pad. Way back!

As I do most of the time, have I used my promarkers to colour the image. I have printed it fairly big so it takes up tons of space on my card. It should have been a little smaller but I was in no mood to fight with my printer. And as it is a theme of "A blast from the past" have I dug out a bunch of old dies / die cuts as well. For example the flower die from Magnolia, Sweden and added a rose in the middle as well. Some glimmer dots, some lace and some hemp ribbon, and a whole bunch of dies is used to finish the card off.

I do hope that you take the time to join us this week over at the Paper Shelter. Next week will be the start of our yearly blog hop and for that one I hope that you will take the time to join us. Both with a card and jump along to all of the teamies. You have a chance of winning a digi at each of our blogs as well as the challenge blog. On top of that you have the chance to win our "normal" giftvoucher worth $30 if you play along with our brand. Playing with another one gives you the chance of winning three digis of your choice.

Take care and do something that makes you happy!

Sparkle and Shine over at Passion for Promarkers

Morning and hello!
Time is flying by quickly now and we are getting close to December by now. Wasn't it Easter the other week? It's dark here now during the days and I kind of long for some snow or some sun. I miss my bike and want to get some good crisp air again.

But in the meanwhile I have to settle for crafting and this week is it "Sparkle and Shine" for our theme. We are sponsored by Bugaboo and they offer a gift voucher worth $12 for one lucky winner.

For my card today have I used the cute Snowman couple. Some love is never wrong, not for snowmen either as it looks. I have added a bunch of extra hearts as I thought they looked so happy together. I thinks a mini, ministamp from Lawn Fawn that I used.

I have used a few designer papers from Dovecraft called Krafty Christmas and for some sparkle have I used the smashing green glitter cardstock from Panduro. I also used some golden cord from my stash to add some extra bling. The hearts and the carrot noses are also coloued with some glitter pens in red and orange. So even if it doesn't show that well in the photo is it a very shiny happy card.

Well then, this is it for today. I wish you a great week and I hope that you will come and join our fun, sparkling challenge this week. Take the chance to finish off one or two of those needed Christmas cards or what ever shining project you need to fininsh!

Christmas Spirit! over at the Paper Shelter

Morning and hello!
It's a new week and a new challenge up over at the Paper Shelter. We have a very fitting theme this week; Christmas Spirit! That means we want to see things related to Christmas. It should be nice and easy to play along in this challenge.

I have chosen to use a part of an image called Merry Christmas my dear! I think there is a need for more images of Mrs Christmas so I took her out to make a card with just the Mrs. She is pre coloured by Veronica from the Paper Shelter who always makes smashing colouring for her images. Have you noticed that the Paper Shelter always has matching designer papers to their images as well? Brilliant if you want to make a card quick and easy.

I have used a paper pad from Paper Mania for this card. As I have printed the image fairly large have I kept the design simple. Then I had a smashing time using a bunch of decorations for the card: ribbon, some golden bells, some mushrooms and a bunch of flowers and green stuff. Some golden glitter to add to the Christmas Spirit!

As always, we have a gift voucher up worth $30 when you play with the Paper Shelter brand. Playing with another brand gives you the chance of winning 3 digis of your choice. Nice and easy to play along, right? You can enter our challenges up to three times, but at least one of your creations needs to have a TPS image on it.

Take care and do something that makes you happy!

Christmas is coming over at Passion for Promarkers

Morning and hello!
Sitting here feeling kind of sick. Started off with some lovely headache and then some sickness to my tummy. Oh yes! Great! Just what I needed. Will have to dig out the last of me for this one. Lucky for me I had a bunch of cards that is not show yet even if I made them during summer. Jepp, I know make and show is not my thing at the moment. More of make and make and pile them up and then start to wonder: Have I showed these ones already?

I hope I have not with this one. It's a Tilda from Magolia from a few years back. I totally adore the tildas. They are the cutest but I don't get the wow thing about them when it comes to making them into cards. They are small and often you need to add many details to make the card pop. Not my think at the moment.

But for this card have I actually managed to put one or two extra details to my card. I have some pearl stars, a charm, some floss of some kind and some fabby die cut snow flakes from Lawn Fawn. The card is still looking sweet in my eye even if some time has passed since I made it. ;)

Sponsoring this challenge with the theme "Christmas is coming" is Cowling & Wilcox - 6 pack of PM's (skin tones set 1)

Holly or Ivy over at the Winter wonderland

Morning and hello!
Time for another challenge card from me for this week. It's time for a new challenge over at the Winter Wonderland and the theme is set to "Use holly or/and Ivy" on your creation.

Sponsoring this challenge is Sheepski Designs

Andrea is offering 3 images of choice for the random winner.

Living in Leeds, Yorkshire in the UK, working full time as a Management Accountant, currently working on 2 design teams and an obsessive crafter and creator of cards. I have no actual style as yet but do love the unusual and quirky. I may be known for producing cards in soft pastel colours. I love anything arty. I've always drawn stuff, for as long as I can remember. In my younger days I sold a few watercolour paintings. I recently found mixed media which is a joy and love creating canvases with flowers. I had a battle with digital drawing for about a year and finally found some software I could gel with.

In January 2016 a challenge team I worked on was short of a designer's images to create with so to the crafting world, to the lovely ladies who have supported me on my journey. I've a Facebook group SheepSki Designs where I hold challenges, some for fun to win digis as well as my monthly card challenge. I've a SheepSki Designs challenge blog as well. Things are growing slowly (thankfully) so I still manage to spend at least a little time with my hubby. Welcome to my world Andrea xx

I have used Christmas candle for my card this time and have used a paper pad from Echo Park called Christmas Delivery. It's the same pad as I used for my Creatalicious card the other day. Very useful pad that is almost gone at this point. It has been fantastic. Might have to get it digital as well if I can't find the really stuff.

The card is coloured with my Letraset markers, some glitter pen and glitter glue to all of that. I have also used some white ink on a few parts of my card as I thought it all went to bright. Quite a lot of details on my card this time: pearl swirls, golden pearls, die cuts, ribbons, flowers etc. It was great fun making it and now I hope you will take the time to make a card or two and join our challenge lasting up until December starts.

Take care and do something that makes you happy!

Love n hugs
