Time for a new challenge over at Passion for Markers. And this time do we have a special theme for you all. The theme is set to

 

Heroes, real or fake

This can be interpreted in more than one way. Please help us out and tell us who and why it's your hero.

My project this week is not a card as it normally is, instead have I created a scrapbook page with details coloured with my promarkers. All the flowers, leaf and the letters on the page is coloured with my markers. The flowers are from two different sets from hÄnglar and Wings and I have paired them up together to add some details to my page.

 

The page shows my grandparents on my mum's side. This photo shows them on a day trip they did way back in the days. Both of them are gone since many years. My grandma was a home makers as many women was back in the days. My granddad worked for the swedish railways and his job is why I called this page secrete heros. During the WWII was Sweden known for its neutrality towards other countries. It might have been true but there was also plenty of people helping both sides of the war.

My granddad was a clever guy who used his work to transport and hide jews that needed help to survive. None knew what he was doing until they found a letter he had written to his family if something would have happened to him during this time. It was found when he passed away. There was many people helping out during these hard years and I am impressed by them all. They were true heroes!

It was fun to make this scrapbooking page and it gave me time to think about them both. I miss them alot, especially my granny that was my best friend.. I hope that I will find more photos of these to me special persons.

Another mini Monday

Morning everyone!

I have a small collection of cards made with my Lawn Fawn mices. My collection with them grows every year and I just love them. This card is one of the ones that I will send to my pen pals around the world. 

These small cards are perfect to use up smaller pieces that are leftovers from other creations. Love to use up as much as I can of my expensive paper pads. A bit cheap even? But they are too expensive not to use up, at least some of the pieces. 

Get some mini stamps and start play with them or print small versions of digital images and you will have some fun moments coming up.

This was fun to create!

Morning and hello!

Here comes a card made for a little baby boy that is the first of a new generation in the family. As it was a while since the Christening took place am I ok with show the card. I have used a stamp set from ? Yep, you guest it! From hÄnglar and Wings. It is really great as you can use it for both boys and girls. Love that!

Inside of the card also made with the stamp set from hÄnglar and Wings. The colours of the clothes is not as bad as it looks here on the photo. Tons of fuzzy cutting, lucky for me that there wasn't that many details on the images. 

Both insides with plenty of space to write what you like to write.

The designer papers are from Maja Design and I think that it's vintage baby or something like that from Maja Design. I have not used much of the paper collection before and have plenty of papers left to play with. I don't do much inside card decorations normally but at special moments do I put a little more details to my creations. 

It was kind of fun to make this creation, a bit special. Orion is the first in a coming generation of extended family that is growing fast.

Mini Monday

Morning and hello my friends!

Yep, time for some more christmas inspiration for me. This time have i used some pieces from Maja Design. Both the image and the designer papers are from  Maja Design. 

All Maja Design paper pads have some cut out pieces that you can use to make cards with or use as decorations. The ones from the 6x6 paper pads are perfect to use for mini cards. Their back sides does often have a neutral colour that is also nice to use. All the designer paper pads have at least 3 pieces of each designer papers in the pads. As it is that many can you use one paper for card toppers and the rest for other creative purposes.

A piece of ribbon and some nuvo drops finish this little card. Hope you like it.

Creativity makes life a little better!

Morning and hello!'

Hi there! I have had a day when I long for the fall of some reason. The first fire of the fall, warmth to relax and feel a bit stress free, 

I have used yet another one of my hÄnglar and Wings images. I have not remembered which set this one is from for. But it's probably one of the fall images. After all, he have both a cap and a scarf on. 

I did even found a paper pad from Echo park that have a fall / autumn theme. I love the rich colours. They make me feel warm and cozy. But before I can enjoy the autumn is there a spring and a summer to enjoy.
