Anything goes or under the sea or fairytales over at CC-challenges

Morning and hello! Time for a new creation from me for a for me new design-team. I have now joined the Creatalicious Challenge team. I am joining the team as from today and hope to be a good teamie and hopefully inspire some of my readers as well. I will be posting for the Creatalicious Challenges the last day of each month. It will be a fun journey and I hope you will join me.

This time our challenge theme is "Under the Sea or fairytales". So something that lives in the sea or is related to fariytales.

We are sponsored by the lovely Polkadoodles and my image is called Octavia Moonfly unicorn. Just click the link and you will find it.

They are offering a prize  of   £6.75 / US $10 digi voucher for one lucky winner to enjoy.

I have coloured with copic markers for this challenge and it's way different from my beloved promarkers but I will get there. I am still enjoying the promarkers hard nib on the markes more than the brush nibs on my copics. I printed the detailed image fairly bit which didn't leave me much room for any special design details.

However, I managed to get a ribbon added and to tie a bow to the card. I have also used a few star shaped glitter details to the card. The designer papers are from Nitwit Collections / LOTV. I have also used a glitter pen on the wings and the unicorn.

Ok then, I am a bit tired at the moment as we just got back home from a soccer tournament and it has been really hot. I do hope that you will come and join us for our fun challenge this two week period. I see you over at the Creatalicious challenges!

Take care and do something that fills your day with joy!

Anything goes over at the Paper Shelter.

Morning and hello! It's time for a new challenge over at The Paper Shelter. Today is the start of our new summer challenge which will continue over two weeks time. And this time is the team off from the commenting if you wonder if it's silence from our lovely team.

We have as always when we have our "break for the team" challenges an "anything goes" challenge. That means you can do what ever you want to for the challenge but you can still only enter 3 times and at least one of your creations has to have a TPS image on them. Nice and easy.

For this card have I once again used a pre couloured image and this time is it called Lovely Umbrella. It has some stunning colours that takes me back to spring but where Veronica is who makes all the fabby TPS images is, is it spring. LoL

As I didn't colour my image this time either it went a bit faster to make the card and it felt good to finish the card as I have so much other stuff to deal with at the moment. But now it's slowing down a tiny bit. Three more weeks of vaction for me and I really need it. Anyway back to my card. I have used a paper pad called Folksong from Simply Create.

The card is decorated with some lace, pearls and sequins that is transparent and sparkle when lights hits them. I have also used a heart that is shaped with tiny pearls and a doily cut with a die from Magnolia. At one of the papers have I also used some shimmer spray in silver and white but it's showing very little here. A detail to find when you look at the card IRL.

As always when we have our challenges we have a gift voucher worth $30 to give away to a winner who has used a TPS image on their creation. Playing with another brand gives you the chance to win 3 digis of you choice.

Do come and join our fun challenge and then have some relaxing time for yourself. You deserve it!

Take care and do something that makes you happy!

Punches or dies over at PFP

Morning and hello! Hope you are doing fine and are having a nice week so far. We are in the middle of the summer and the days are filled with sun, sea and soccer in my case. This week is the most important in my kids' life for this summer. At least if you ask the youngest one. It's his third time playing the soccer game called Bullerby Cup in Vimmerby. My olderst will also be playing but for him it's not as important. He doesn't have that attitude. Likes winning but life goes on if they don't.

Anyway, I am hosting this week's challeng over at Passion for Promarkers and I have set the theme to Punches and/or dies. You need to use at least one of them for your creation. You don't have to use both. Should be nice and easy for you all.

I have used a flower punch, leaf punch and a border punch. I have also used a frame die from Lawn Fawn. There is also some pearls, lace and letter stickers for decorations on this card. I did also use the image I got from DSB and made the image into a designer paper and coloured it all in. I used the same colour for the image as I used for my home made designer paper. It was kind of fun to do this.

I have also used some designer papers from First Edition but my pads from them has all gotten mixed up as the they split as soon as they are used once. So I have no clue of from which pads the papers are from. I think this is all about this card. The letter stickers are from Panduro from my ever lasting stash. LoL

You have a chance to win this lovely prize if you use your Letraset / Winsor & Newton markers for your creation. So do come on and join us over at PFP this week. It's a nice and simple challenge for you all.

Take care and do something that makes you happy!

Ribbon, lace and/or twine over at the Paper Shelter

Morning and hello! A tiny bit late with this post as I got a bit side tracked last night. I kind of enjoyed sitting outside in the very warm night until it was really too late to finish all of this off. I did even managed to sit outside to create my card which was really lovely. Today is it way too hot to be outside again so I think I will spend the day in the basement again, not to be cooked by the sun. ;)

Anyway, today is the day of a new challenge for the Paper Shelter and this time I thought that we should use up some of our ribbon, lace or and twine as I know I have plenty of it laying around and for me they look a lot better on a card or on a layout and in the boxes.

I have used one of our newer images from the Shelter and it's called Spirit of the woods. A lovely image in fall colours. I have paired it up with some designer papers from Primas Fairy Flora paper pad that I really love because of the stunning colours but it's kind of hard to use for some reason. Here it work out great with the darker colours on the dp's. I have used the pre coloured image from Veronica once again as I at the moment having a bit hard finding the joy in colouring like I used to but I am sure that it will come back to me soon again. I just have to miss it a bit first I think. :)

The card has many layers and are a bit popped up as well as the hemp twine I have used is a bit thicker than "normal" twine. I have also added a piece of paper ribbon to be used on gifts under it. Tide a bow with it as well and added one of my many hundreds of charms as well. And then some Card Craft Candy or what they are called for a bit of interest. I then finished the whole thing off with some gold splaters with Heidi Swapp Colour Shine. So a very settle detail with gold is found on the card as well.

As always when you play with us and use a TPS image you have the chance of winning a gift voucher worth $30. Playing with another brand gives you the chance of winning three digis of your choice from the store. Pretty nice as well.

Ok, this is it from me for today. I see you back here next week when I have a card for the PFP challenge and for our summer challenge here at the Paper Shelter up as well.

Take care and do something that makes you smile!

Love n hugs

Hip to be square over at Passion for Promarkers

Morning and hello! Hope you're doing fine and having a great summer so far? I have one more week of work and then will I have a vacation for a few weeks. It will be good to have some rest. I has been plenty of work to do the last period of time.

Today is the start of a new challenge over at Passion for Promarker and Lisa has set the theme to "Hip to be square". As easy as we want to see square cards for your creations this week.

I have been up to something different this week as I wanted to play a bit with some Alternew dies and stamps. I think they are called geometric shapes, triangles or something like that. I have die cut all the triangles and coloured them with a bunch of promarkers with three different shades of each colour on each triangle. I have been quite heavy with the colours so it's a very soft shading on the back ground.

As a sentiment have I used a die saying Congratulations in Swedish. It's made by Lotta over at Moa Pyssel, also a former teamie here at the PFP. The die has the perfect size for this kind of cards. It was plenty of fun to do a different card for once, however it took me forever to do all of the die cutting. I also used some vellum to create a layer between the die cuts. I have added so square brads as an embellishment as well. You know, hip to be square... LoL

Denise Morgans foto.

Sponsoring us this week iUniko Stamps. They are offering one lucky winner 1 stamp set which must be in stock. How great isn't that? Prize is for one crafter using the fabby promarkers from Letraset / Winsor & Newton.

Anyway folks, take care and do play along with us. This is a really simple challenge and you probably make a square card most of the time so come on...

Take care and do something that makes you happy!

I started drawing when I was a little kid and I developed a very realistic style. I usually painted animals and plants from photos, thinking that I would never had enough imagination to draw something without looking at it first. I am so glad I was wrong!!! When I had my kids a few years ago I started telling stories, making toys, and drawing for them. It opened a new world for me. I love making illustrations and I would love if you could sense that there could be a little story behind them. I surely have a story for many of them.

I am using the sweet and sketchy image called Snowman Snowy. He is coloured with a mix of promarkers and copic markers of different kind. It was good to get an image that didn't need that much of a colouring today as I am totally drowning in work and have no idea how I will be able to finish everything before I go on vacation.

Anyway, I have used and old Panduro paper pad in turquoise and lilac for this card. I am desperatly trying to finish this pad off and have so far made about 8 card bases and 2 finished cards with the left overs and then add this to the pack. I have not shown any of them yet except for this one. The others will follow. They are a bit simpler as I do them by night when I can't sleep and my brain is over worked. I use a left over piece of black and white paper from Simple Stories to add some details, a few sequines, some pearls and a die from Lawn Fawn. The little hearts used around the image is also from different sets from Lawn Fawn. Just a bit of extra detail to the card. The snow flakes are also made with w Lawn Fawn die.

I hope you like my winter creation and do take some time and come and play with us over at the Winter Wonderland. You have to weeks to finish you project and it's always great fun to do a winter or Christmas card, even when the temperature says almost 30 degrees celcius outside and the cats don't want to come in during the night.

Celebrations! over at the Paper Shelter

Morning and hello! A fabby morning it is! Sweden won their soccer game yesterday and will play quater finals on Saturday. England or Colombia here we are! It will be fun and way more than expected from this team of ours. So this week's theme over at the Paper Shelter sounds very fitting this week. We´re going for the theme of "Celebrations!".

That means we want to see a card or creation that has something to do with celebrations. It could be a wedding, a birthday, a new job etc. Just as long as something or someone is celebrated!

I have once again used the fabby looking image called Little mermaid on vacation. I normally don't do cards with mermaids or unicorns and stuff like that. It's hard to use but this one was really cute with it's curly hair and the fabby looking coconut drink. Too cute not to use. I have once again used Veronicas pre coloured image. Both because I have tons to do at work as there will be a show where we take part a week after I am back at work after vacation and I have tons to prep before that and I am not in that good shape that I can do a lot of colouring at the moment. Started with a new med again and it's knocking me out totally but it's getting better. Maybe something that I should celebrate?

I have used a really, really old paper pack from oh God! It's gone, again Imag... something I think that it's a brand that no longer is around. I bought it when the kids was young and played in the pool quite a lot but never got around to use them. Both the papers and the photos is unscrapped. :) I used a ton of die cuts, from Magnolia Sweden and some glossy accent to decorate the card. Maybe a little too much but it was really relaxing and I had a nice time. There is also a few sequins to mimic some water bubbles. Tons of glitter is there also in the glossy accent and then there is the clear glitter pen used on the mermaid's tail.

As always playing along with us at the Paper Shelter gives you a chance of winning a gift voucher worth $30, but then you have to play with a Paper Shelter image. Playing with another brand gives you the chance of winning 3 digis of your choice.

Well, I better end here. I do hope that you will come and join us over at the paper shelter challenges this week even if the summer is here. Just a little tag or card, you know you want to... :)

Take care and do something that makes you happy!

Love n hugs
