Morning and hello! Hope you're doing fine and are having a great week. Here in Sweden is it steaking hot and here I am publishing a Christmas card with a snowman theme! Some things are just off. LoL

With that said we have a snowman theme over at the winter wonderland this time around and we are sponsored by Kinda cute who is offering XXXXX for one lucky winner.

I started drawing when I was a little kid and I developed a very realistic style. I usually painted animals and plants from photos, thinking that I would never had enough imagination to draw something without looking at it first. I am so glad I was wrong!!! When I had my kids a few years ago I started telling stories, making toys, and drawing for them. It opened a new world for me. I love making illustrations and I would love if you could sense that there could be a little story behind them. I surely have a story for many of them.

I am using the sweet and sketchy image called Snowman Snowy. He is coloured with a mix of promarkers and copic markers of different kind. It was good to get an image that didn't need that much of a colouring today as I am totally drowning in work and have no idea how I will be able to finish everything before I go on vacation.

Anyway, I have used and old Panduro paper pad in turquoise and lilac for this card. I am desperatly trying to finish this pad off and have so far made about 8 card bases and 2 finished cards with the left overs and then add this to the pack. I have not shown any of them yet except for this one. The others will follow. They are a bit simpler as I do them by night when I can't sleep and my brain is over worked. I use a left over piece of black and white paper from Simple Stories to add some details, a few sequines, some pearls and a die from Lawn Fawn. The little hearts used around the image is also from different sets from Lawn Fawn. Just a bit of extra detail to the card. The snow flakes are also made with w Lawn Fawn die.

I hope you like my winter creation and do take some time and come and play with us over at the Winter Wonderland. You have to weeks to finish you project and it's always great fun to do a winter or Christmas card, even when the temperature says almost 30 degrees celcius outside and the cats don't want to come in during the night.

Love n hugs
Marie
