Christmas cheer 2-22

Morning and hello!
Time for February's Christmas Cheer. This image I believe is from Bugaboo but I am not sure. I have had it printed for a while now, and coloured too. It's a sweet image that is nice to colour as well.

I have paired my image with a few die cuts from Crealies (the rectangle) and the hearts are probably from Gummiapan. The designer papers are from Lawn Fawn. It's a really simple card but a nice to create. The sentiment is by the way from hÄnglar and Wings. I have used Altenew ink for that one.

Take good care and do something that makes you happy!

Just 4 Fun 11-22

Morning and hello!
I am back again with yet another post here in February. I try to keep an even schedule in my posts but it has been a struggle lately. I have spent so much time with yarn and crochet needle. About a year or so ago did I found a charity project where people crochet little toys that are sent to ambassadors for washing and packaging. Then they are given to children wards at hospitals. I think I have told about this before...

I have made around 300 of these little toys during this year but I have yet to send them to an ambassador. I think the time has come to do that now and start to create a little more cards again, and write a letter or two more each week. Still I have fun crocheting so why stop? I hope I find some energy to photograph the collection before I send it off.

Back to the card here on my blog today. I think that the image is from Tiddly Ink. I have had it both coloured and printed for a year or two without doing anything with it. Now have it finally found a place on a collection of Basic Grey papers from the paper pad called Piccadilly I believe. I am sure that it is Basic Grey at least. Always something.

I have a huge collection of these papers as well as Prima papers even if I am not too fond of the slightly distressed look and cream instead of white. Wonder why I bought so many paper pads? Oh well, time to get them used some way or another. Otherwise I will give them away to a school or something so they can enjoy them, I need the space!

Anyway, I finish off here for today. I see you back on my little blog next in two days!

Things with wings over at Passion for Markers

 Morning and hello!
It's time for a new challenge over at Passion for Markers and this week's theme is set to "Things with wings"!

Our sponsor this week is Uniko Stamps who offer one lucky winner a stamp set from their store. Stamp set needs to be in stock.

For my card have I used another lovely image from hÄnglar and Wings. It's one of two super cute angels from the set called Konstflyg. It's a totally adorable set with fantastic sentiment "We are all winging it. That's what angels do!" Isn't that totally charming?

I have coloured with copics and promarkers as I normally do now days. I have paired my angel with some designer papers from Echo Park Welcome spring and Welcome Easter.

I have kept my card fairly simple as I wanted the sentiment and image to take focus on this card. I have used a few enamel shapes and some Nuvo drops to that. A few layers of designer papers and cardstock finish the card off. I hope you like it!

Do take some time to and play along with this weeks challenge. We are open to all alcoholic markers!

Take care and do something that makes you happy!

Just 4 Fun 10-22

Morning and hello!
I am back again with a little creation I have made just because it's such joy to colour with markers. This image did I see on FB a while ago and I realized that I probably had it on my computer. And I did so here is my first version of a card with this image. I have another version ready to colours and we'll see when I have that ready to make into a card.

Anyway, the paper pad used for this card is a Carta Bella paper pack called Farmhouse Market. Filled with lovely colours that makes me happy. Used up another bunch of flowers from my stash in a wild mix of colours and shapes. Butterflies made with a Marianne or Joy die. Probably from Marianne... The centers of the butterflies are made with Nuvo Drops and in the corners have I used up yet another batch of enamel dots that I have tried to use up the last weeks.

Ok then, I guess this is all from me for today. I plan to spend the weekend in front of the TV watching the final days of the Olympic games. I am sure there is something that can entertain me when it comes to the sports world.

Just 4 Fun 9-22

Morning and hello!
Hi there and welcome back to my little corner of the blogging world. It's time for a new card that I have created just for the fun of it. To enjoy some time with paper and glue and markers are so relaxing, don't you think?

For this card have I used a Bugaboo image that I have had in my stash for quite some time now. I have paired my image up with an even older paper pack from My Minds Eye. I got the paper pack free from a magazine.

I have used a bunch of things from my stash that I've had cut or stashed in different places and packed it all up in the shape of this card. Some left over leaf, some flowers, some enamel stars, an off cut of a pink ribbon. And to finish it all off have I used some Nuvo Chrystal drops.

Well, I hope I have inspired you to play with your craft stash just because it's lots of fun!

Take care and have a lovely week!

Just 4 Fun 8-22, Happy Valentines day

 Morning and hello!
Time for a new little creation from me. I thought I would wish you all a happy Valentine's day! And for that have I used the lovely image from hÄnglar and Wings.  I have coloured my image with a mix of Promarkers and Copics.

( sorry for my photo, it's a bit blurry, I will try to fix it later on today)

I have used some left over papers from an old Glitz paper pad called Black and White. It's a great pad for all those images that I colour my images with mainly grey scale colours. I love that but don't make them into cards that often.

I have used a border punch to decorate the horizontal layer. The heart to the left is made with a die from Gummiapan. They have a really lovely set with different heart shapes. I have used a Spectrum Noir glitter pen on the heart for sparkle and shine. I  have also used some glossy accent on the image, like the hearts and the bow.

This is all from me for today. I wish you a great day and see you soon again!

Just 4 Fun 7-22

Morning and hello!
Surprise! Back again this week. I thought that I would take the chance to do another post this week as I had a little energy left over for writing on the computer. I don't do that as much as I used to as it gives me more pain in my hands and fingers.

I have used the lady snowman from hÄnglar and Wings from the set called Snögubbar. She is so cute! I totally adore this set of stamps. I also have the mini version and hope to use them soon. This time have I paired my image with papers from the paper pad called Oh What fun! from Pink Fresh Studio. A lovely set with super high quality of the paper. Almost too good. They are really thick!

I have used a bunch of left over die cuts and enamel dots with sparkle and shine. The die cuts are from Lawn Fawn and Magnolia. My border is made with a punch from Martha Stewart. I also had access to a string with pearls that I used to give some dimension on the card. A ribbon finish this card off.

I hope you like what you see and that I inspire you to play along with your stash and have some fun!

Take good care!

Just 4 Fun 6-22

Morning and hello!
Time for a little card just for the fun of it. I have been a bit behind with my posts for this project as I have not been feeling too well again. Medicines are both a good and a bad thing. The side effects can be terrible! A dizzy head is not my favourite state of mind.

Anyway, I'm in the end of the day and have not taken the second doze of the meds yet. I will take the next batch just before bed to be sure that I won't fall down at least. ;) So now is it time for me to try to finish this post at least.

I have used the male Snowman from the set from hÄnglar and Wings called Snögubbar. Isn't he totally adorable? There is a set with mini snowmen as well and I hope that I have some energy to use that set soon as well. So very cute!

I have coloured with Copics and Spectrum Noir. I have used designer papers from the paper pad called Winter Feelings from Studio Light. It's a nice and lovely winter paper pack with a lovely colour combo in greenish blue and kind of peachy colours. It's great for winter cards that isn't Christmas cards. I think I will stay in winter mood for a little longer so a few more winter cards will probably show up here before I come to spring mood.

Oh well! Time to watch some TV, the winter Olympic games are on and I have found a strange love for Curling. How did that happen?

Take care and do something for yourself!

With a sentiment over at Passion for Markers

Morning and hello!
Time for a new challenge over at PFM and it's my time to host. I have chosen the simple theme of "Add a sentiment". It should be nice and easy to play along with us this week, right?

We are sponsored by Crafty Sentiments Design which is offering 3 digis for one lucky winner! Thank you so much for that CSD!

For my card have I used Harriet with Ragga and coloured her with Copics and Promarkers. I have changed my colouring paper and it makes my colouring look kind of sloppy when I photograph it, it is not as bad IRL, I promise. But it is a bit frustrating as it is a great paper to colour on. I totally love it, but not the way it photograph. Have to make a decision about how I will continue with this. Or learn how to photograph for real...

I have mixed a couple of Spring / Easter paper pads from Echo Park to make the colours match my colouring. I have been digging in my old stash and found some old butterfly gems and some roses to decorate the card. A light blue ribbon finish my card off together with a bunch of different colours of Nuvo Drops.

Ok then, hope you will come and play with us. We are open to all alcohol markers now, not only Promarkers.

Take care and do something that makes you happy!

Love n hugs
Marie
