Anything goes over att Passion for Markers, we are celebrating!

Morning and hello!
We have a new challenge up for you all today. And this week are we celebrating! Here comes a little bit of info from our challenge blog.

Onto this week's challenge and we have a very special one for you this week as it's our 16th Anniversary. Can you believe it's been 16 years since Gina and myself started our little blog?  It only seems like yesterday when we nervously made our first post!  Time flies when you’re having fun.  As it's a special challenge we have a really easy theme for you of "anything goes".  As the title suggests you can make anything you like this week as long you colour with markers.  We are hoping to see lots of entries but please note that as we have extra prizes up for grabs this week we are only accepting a maximum of 3 entries per person for this one challenge only.  Remember the only rule is colour your image with your markers and have fun!

And as we are celebrating, we need gifts! Not for us, but for all of you. A few of you that plays along with us will be given little gifts from our sponsors. Here you go!

Wow we told you there were amazing prizes didn’t we? Definitely lots of reasons to join in the fun this wee!!

For my card then... I have used an image from what I believe is from Power Poppy with spring flowers. Let me just say, the other day when I made the card was it raining like it was autumn already.

I have coloured with my promarkers and used designer papers from Echo Park. It's some kind  of spring paper pad. Anyway, it was a good match to my image. I have also used some lace ribbon, paper flowers from my stash, one that I made myself and some pearls and a charm to that and my spring creation was ready. Now will I find someone that I can send my card to.

All the best and enjoy your week!

Morning and hello!
Hi! I am back again with a card made just for the pure joy of creating. I have had fun colouring this charming image from, yes you guest it, hÄnglar and Wings. Isn't it cute?

The image is called Nya Busfrön and you find it in the hÄnglar and wings store. I truly enjoyed colouring this image with my promarkers. I have paired it up with some designer papers from Carta Bella (maybe Echo Park).

I have also used some corrugated cardstock as a detail in the card and it add some dimension to the card as well. Tons of paper flowers is also used on the card together with some white Nuvo drops.  Hope you find some inspiration from my card and take some time to create something today.

Monochrome over at PFM

 Morning and hello!
Time again for a new challenge over at Passion for Markers. This week do we have a real challenge for you. Our theme is set "Monochrome". That is one colour + white and black in small dozes if the black isn't the main colour of course. We have a great prize up for grabs this week, so it is well worth giving the theme a try!

Our sponsor this week is Dies to Die for and they offer one lucky winner a gift voucher worth £15! It's an amazing prize for one lucky winner!
Thank you!

As I, once again have some trouble with my hands and fingers which gives me trouble colouring did I get really happy when I came to thing of my little stash of coloured poppies. I have them in a few different shades but I was in the mood for blue shades this time.

I dug out my flowers from my stash and my die cutting up a whole panel with a nice grid of geometric shapes. I had planned to use it for left over small pieces of papers from other projects so I don't have to waste so much lovely papers. However, this time did I use card stock as a back drop for my flowers. I am pretty pleased with the result and got to use a butterfly that I had coloured as well. The flowers is a little too big for my liking, but it's totally ok. Oh, the flowers are by the way from Alternew.

Anyway, I hope that you have had a good Easter and that you now feel up to playing along with us over at PFM.

Have a good week and do something that makes you happy!

Dies and or punches over at Passion for Markers

Morning and hello!
It's that time again, time for a new challenge over at Passion for Markers. Our theme this week is set by me and I have chosen "Dies and/or Punches". A favourite of mine but for some reason was this one a bit hard to put together.

Our sponsor this week is Dr Digis House of Stamps. They offer one lucky winner two digis from their store, your choice.
Thank you for that!

I have used the image called  Nitty Nora.  Wish I could knit but I do know how to crochet and find more joy in that yarn hobby. Knitting have never appealed to me the same way as my crochet hook. But the image was fun and I really want to learn how to knit warm socks! I had fun colouring but my photo didn't come out well. I couldn't access my accounts to do what I normally do. Took a while to get it fixed, my brother was my savour. Anyway, I have used designer papers from Maja Design, Denim Girl. And I used a die from my stash for the border which got covered a fair bit with another die cut from my stash and I wanted to add some punched details as well and ended up with butterflies from a punch from Martha Stewart. I couldn't find anything that suited better. Flowers and butterflies you know.

I hope that I have managed to inspire you at least a bit. Come and play with us over at Passion for Markers. Just make sure that you use some die cuts or punches on your creation. Nice and easy!

Take care and do something that makes you happy!

Christmas Cheers 15-23

Morning and hello!
Hi! I am back with a new creation. This time is it a Christmas card that will bring you (hopefully) some inspiration to create a card or two of your own. I have once again used a hÄnglar and Wing image from my stash. This image is from the set called Ful jultröja/ ugly Sweater.

I have used some old designer papers from different brands. They are all leftovers and means that I have managed to finish a few paper pads this year. It feels so good to be able to do that. Finish something is just what you need to get some space for new stash. :) I am drowning in paper pads, and I should probably not buy more in a few years or so. Will not happen, but the thought is really good and I should follow my own advice.

I have used a ribbon and some Nuvo drops to decorate my card. It's simple with many layers. I have also used a punch for one of my panels.

Hope I have given you some inspiration. Wish you a wonderful day and take good care!

Love n hugs

Summer in full bloom over at Passion for Markers

Morning and hello!
It's time for a new challenge over at PFM and this week's theme is set to "Summer in full bloom". Nice and fun, isn´t it?

This week are we sponsored by Alex Syberia and they are offering one lucky winner a £10 voucher to spend in their store. We will have one happy winner this week.

I have used the image called hello Summer. It's a fabby image that I will use again and again. A.S. have some fantastic flower images that I really adore. Fabby!

I did manage to do some coloring with my promarkers this time and even if it's little and I didn't have so many details to color in for this image. I have used designer papers that I don't know what brand they are. The pack have no front page at all, and never have had. They are bright and colorful and make me happy!

I have used some gemstone from my stash in two sizes and some flower ribbon from my stash, they were a good match to my image.

I hope that you will be able to play along with us over at Passion for Markers. I and the rest of the team looks forward to visiting your blogs and leave you some love.

Take care and do take some time to do something that you enjoy!

Spots or/and Stripes over at PFM

Moring and hello!
It's Tuesday again and I have a new card for our brand new challenge over at PFM. It's our birthday so both our fabby teams brings you inspiration for this challenge. Our theme is set to "Spots and or stripes". This should be a quite easy theme to follow as both spots and stripes are an easy pattern to use together with other ones. Goes well with flowers, hearts, wavy patterns etc. Nice and easy!

We have a bunch of sponsors for this challenge and you have to head over to our challenge blog to find out all the details. A big thank you to all of our sponsors!

I have once again used a mix of pattern papers. The black and white ones are from Honey Bee Stamps Back to Basic paper pad and the star paper is from Gummiapan. I love to use black and white together with red. It's a great combo in my mind.

My image is from... hÄnglar and Wings, are you surprised? I have such big collection of their stamps by now that I have more images not used compared to the ones I have used. And there is a whole bunch of images that I would love to add to my collection in the future. This guy comes from the stamp set called Pirater. I will show the other part of the stamp set in my next post.

I have used up a bunch of left overs for this card and that kind of made my design. I have coloured my image with Copic markers and some Promarkers as well. Lots of layers is used for this one. Some black and white twine from my stash and some wooden stars is also added to the mix. It was a lot of fun to create this card. Now is it your turn to create and join our fun challenge that has a bunch of prizes up for grabs as it is our Anniversary challenge.

Take some time and join the fun! For more information check out our challenge blog here.

Take care and take some time to have some fun!

Just 4 Fun 7-22

Morning and hello!
Surprise! Back again this week. I thought that I would take the chance to do another post this week as I had a little energy left over for writing on the computer. I don't do that as much as I used to as it gives me more pain in my hands and fingers.

I have used the lady snowman from hÄnglar and Wings from the set called Snögubbar. She is so cute! I totally adore this set of stamps. I also have the mini version and hope to use them soon. This time have I paired my image with papers from the paper pad called Oh What fun! from Pink Fresh Studio. A lovely set with super high quality of the paper. Almost too good. They are really thick!

I have used a bunch of left over die cuts and enamel dots with sparkle and shine. The die cuts are from Lawn Fawn and Magnolia. My border is made with a punch from Martha Stewart. I also had access to a string with pearls that I used to give some dimension on the card. A ribbon finish this card off.

I hope you like what you see and that I inspire you to play along with your stash and have some fun!

Take good care!

Just for fun 42-21

Morning and hello!
I have been playing with some old coloured images that I have saved from times when I have had colouring mania. It happens from time to time. On this image have I played with distress inks. It's fun to dig out some paint brushes from time to time.

The image is a House mouse image that I have bought ages ago, just because I love the flower. The mouse is sweet as well and I have a little collection of the images but for some reason have I trouble using them. But finally I have a card made with one of them!

My designer papers are from a Pebbles and is called Harvest. Lovely autumn colours and a perfect match for this image. The card is simple and decorated with some twine, gemstones from Honey Bee Stamps and some Nuvo Drops as always these days.

Hope you find some inspiration from my creation and do take some time to create just for the fun of it!

Love n hugs

Happy New Year!

Happy New Year to each and everyone!
I hope that this new, fresh year will be way better than the last one. But most of all do I wish that my pain eases and relatives stop their childish fights over things. There is one thing better than "stuff" and it's great and happy memories with near and dears. Ok Leaving that subject here and now. Focus on the good stuff!

Last year did I make about a ton of cards compared to the year before. I think I have about 50 or 60 that isn't shown her yet. I have plenty of time at home and not being able to sleep has given me time to craft even if it would have been better if I slept.

Anyway, I thought that I should start the new year with one of my latest cards and one of my favourite ones as well. You know when all things just work out better than in your mind and it still looks good when you look at it a week or two later, and you still feel proud of your work. This is one of these cards!

It is a hÄnglar and Wings image, yep again. I totally fell in love with their images last year. The are both sweet and charming! This one is called Snöfolk and it comes in a set with a boy and a girl. There is also some sentiment stamps in the set and a snow lantern.

I have paired this fabby image with one of the new paper pads by Maja Design. It's the smaller one called Winter is coming. It's a lovely winter paper pack in purple and pink. Totally fantastic! This one is image is coloured with my Promarkers and I have used plenty of die cut snow flakes of different brands to decorate the card. I have actually decorated the inside of the card as well but have not taken any pictures of it. Don't ask me why, maybe because I hardly ever do that? Well I have promised myself to try doing that more often but the cards get really heavy doing that, and that means more postage! :)

Together with the die cut snow flakes and the wooden ones from my stash is also some gem stone used to add a little extra bling to the card.

Anyway, I wish you the best of years and hope you find time to enjoy the good moments. Don't forget to be "here and now" from time to time. I will try to do that better this year.

Take care and do something that brings you joy!

Love n hugs
Marie

PS: Don't forget to visit Passion for Promarkers as we have some news from today and hope to see you all there! There is even a chance of winning a gift voucher so jump on over to the blog!
