A new For Fun Challenge

We have a new Wendsday and a new challenge over at For Fun. This week we are doing pumpkins, but no Jack - O- Lanterns. Just plain pumpkins. We are sponsored by the lovely MelJen, be sure to pop on over to her store and find you some goodies.

My image is coloured with promarkers, cut out with a spellbinder die and placed over two dotty ribbons from Joanna Sheen. She has a lovely selection of them to smashing prices and no postage to be paid. I have also used a doily from Panduro, metal corners from Wild Orchid and designer papers from Bearly Mine Designs. You find the link to the right. This is from the Grunge Day digi set. I love that brown colour and it goes so well with the colours of fall. I do hope you join us over at For Fun this week. We had some problems with Blogger acting up but we are working on it.

There is also a new challenge up for the Paper Shelter. This time the theme is "We love animals", how fun is that? Just a clean simple wonderful challenge for you all.

And at last, I have been so lucky the last few weeks with many top three/five placements on different challenges. I am so grateful for it. I having a hard time believing that I have been top-5 on the Passion for Promarkers challenge blog three weeks in a row. I'm very humble and very happy about it, not to forget proud. The PFP challenges was the reason to why I started my blog about two years ago. Thank you to all of you.

It's time for a new BMC challenge

Hello folks! I bet you have been waiting for this, a brand new challenge for each and everyone of you. This time we are doing Easel cards. So much fun! It's always good to have one of those laying around for a special birthday, or maybe Christmas, or halloween, or .... You get it don't you? Now when we have a lovely challenge like this we like to give away some goodies as well. This time five (!) of you have the chance of winning some yummy crafting goodies.
So my inspirational card then. I have used two digis from Kenny K and coloured them with my Letraset darlings.  Did alot of cutting, felt like forever when I was doing it. :) I used Bearly Mine Design Shabby Vintage designer papers.  Used some lace, lots of flowers and a few metal corners to bring on some bling. I used dimond dust Gold for the Devilish Donnas's wings to add even more sparkle. The flowers (which is also from Joanna Sheen) are more or less drowned in glimmer mist (Old lace). Some golden pearls from the lovely Nikki from Bunny Zoe and my card was done.

Last minute again

Hi and hello! Just got back from my MIR and a little trip to a store that makes and sell ceramics. Tons of lovely stuff there. Good to go there and look without the kids. Relaxing, and I am so happy these exams are over with now. Hate going into that X-ray mashine. Now I just have to find out what is wrong with this back of mine. :)

So over at Passion for Promarkers the theme is to alter something, and it should not be square. I took an old lamp shade for a tea light and fixed it up for the coming season. As I want to take part in the LOTV challenge this week as well, with the theme Let it snow, I used one of the cute teddies out in the snow and some snow flake designer paper from the supermarket. Yepp!  I know, super market of all places, the paper is single sided and I really wanted that and it's not to thick either. Some wooden snowflakes from BunnyZoe and roses from WOC is my decorations together with a piece of lace. I've got to teddy bears on the lamp shade and to "fields" with snow flakes on them.

Wedding card

A little while ago my neighbour asked me to make them a card for wedding they would attened. I got it done and photographed but it's still unpublished here. Thought I do it now, what a bright gal I am! :)

I have used an image from Whiff of Joy and used it together with papers from Magnolia's wedding collection. Flowers are from Wild Orchid Crafts and some are punched with an Eksuccess Punch. The image is coloured with Aquamarkers from Letraset.

More Christmas

Happy Friday! Have another little Christmas card to show. This one is made after the lovely sketch from the Sugarbowl using one of the new sweet christmas stamps. Love it, how can I not? Being a cat person. LoL It's coloured with my letraset gang, a total mix of promarkers, tria markers and flexmarkers.

Flowers are from Wild orchid Crafts, the little heart from my stash. The Snowflake hiding in the flowers is from BunnyZoe's and so is the pearls. Over at I heart Promarkers the theme is distressing and since I most of the time use so ink to reinforce (distress) the edges for more dept I enter my card to that challenge too. The DP this time is from Cosmo Cricket.

Good morning BMC fans!

Another day, another challenge and I am so tired. Feels like I have spent the whole night snezzing, well maybe be cause I have. :) I'm not sure I have a cold on the way or if it's cat fur. The wounded little guy drops his fur like it's snowing and he prefer to do it on me, beside me, over me...

It's time for a new challenge over at Bearly Mine Challenges today. Wow! How quick didn't these two last weeks pass? This week we are having the lovely theme of  "Use three different designer papers". You can handle that can't you? Judging by the stunning creations you have made over the last couple of weeks. ot will be no problems at all for you talented people.

My card is made with one of the fabby PaperShelter images called Cute dressmaker. Adorable isn't she? She's coloured with my normal promarkers and paired up with papers from Spring blossoms and Spring Mist digi kits from Bearly Mine Designs.

Another one for the PFP

Hi and hello! Made another card this night. Yes, had one of those again. So tired of the pain at this moment, but it's good that I get my X-mas cards done. Nothing bad that hasn't got any good with it...

This card was headed for the bin late last night since I got a little help from a four leged friend of mine. He is feeling very sorry for himself at the moment as he has to have a collar on since he had surgery a few days back. He has some strange allergy and get cortisone injections which makes his skin very thin. So it doesn't need much for him to "break" and that happed a few days ago. Now we have to take him back to the wet as we found another wound just not as big. So he wanted attension last night and when he didn't get it fast enough he placed himself on the card which was not dry. There fore I have gone wild with my flowers, to cover up some of the mess. :) Oh well!

The image is from Sugarnellie, flowers from WOC, the little angel from Altheas Mix, golden heart from Pagoni and he, the lovely St. Nick is coloured with my normal promarkers. Of course this card goes into the challenge of PFP as I have used Micheles lovely sketch for the card.

The second one...

Here comes part two of the double Wendsday and now it's time for the Paper Shelter. This week is one of those when you all keep us very busy as our theme is Anything goes. Yepp! You heard right, you can't go wrong this week.

As always you have a chance of a super duper prize if you enter using a TPS image; a voucher worth $20 can be yours to spend in the shop with tons of goodies. If you enter with out the cutest images around (that being the TPS images) you can still win a digi of your choice if picked by Mr Random.

As always when it's time for Anything goes, I try to make something with the pre coloured images, and now when Veronica and Pedro has extended their products to also have mini kits, boxes, scrap pages etc there is a lot to chose from. This week I have done some kind of decopage stuff with a mini kit using all my square spellbinders to add some dimension to the card and put some flowers around the corners. The image is called Let's go to sleep. A real cutie, isn't she?

So come on and join us over at the Shelter this week. We can't wait to see what you all come up with.

Love n hugs
Marie

Good evening!

Oh well! Couldn't help myself so I'm posting another card here today. I have a tendensy to forget to post cards that I have done if I don't do it right away. And now I try to figure out how to get my photos to look non blurry in the blog, cause they look just fine here. Strange! Wonder if Mr Blogger sits around and take a bite every now and then on pictures that goes up?

My card is made with one of the lovely digi images from the Paper Shelter. A wonderfully sweet kitten colored with my poly chromes. I use them way to seldom. So little time, so many fun things to play with. :) I know that the flowers and lace are from Wild Orchid Craft. I don't remember from where I got the paper pad, but the pearls are from Bunny Zoe. At least something to inform you about. :) I enter this card to the challenge over at Crafting when we can  with the theme of Anything goes.

Have a wonderful afternoon!

Here comes a new Christmas card from me. I have used one of the wonderful new images from LOTV and that's good because I followed the sketch that is this weeks challenge over at their challenge blog. :)

The little darlings are coloured with promarkers and has got a touch of a stamp from Stempelglade as well. Love this stamp with the stains. My "God Jul" stamp is a no name stamp with distress ink. My designer papers are from Bearly Mine and is called Christmas Glee and Christmas Swirls. Two lovely new christmas sets from Bearly Mine. Flowers, metal and pins are as usual from Wild Orchid Crafts.

Now time for a really hot bath and then another soccer game that hopefully goes better than the last one that we lost. :(

Here comes Bearly Mine Challenge; Flowers, Flowers, Flowers

We have a wonderfully easy challenge for you this time just as my title tells you; We had a  Flowers, Flowers, Flowers!

By the way, Donna has a whole bunch of new sets launching during this week and on top of it all she has a sale going on. You really should pop on over and take a look.

My flowers are from Prima and Wild Orchid Crafts, ribbon as well. The brad was a white one but coloured it in with a promarker. Some card Craft candy in the corner finish it up after a touch of glitter glue on top of them.

No patterned papers over at Passion for Promarkers this week.

Happy Friday everyone! Sitting here waiting for "wood man". He was suppose to show up sometime during the afternoon. Hate not getting a specified time. So here we are me and my boys, waiting and waiting. Thought I pop this very simple card into the challenge over at Passion For Promarkers where the theme is no patterned papers.

For my little card I have used one of the new LOTV stamps. So adorable! Just did some dry embossing at the lower part of the cs, a white ribbon and some wonderful blue flowers and I was done. And kind of backed the image with silver mirri board as well.

And now time for the Paper Shelter

Here we go again! Now it's time for the Paper Shelter to stand in the spot light. This week we really have an easy challenge for you all. We want you to use your die cuts and punches. Something that we use one very single card more or less I guess?

For this card I have use the wonderfully cute image "Lets make a pic-nic", she totally cute and kind of reminds me of the Sarah Kay images. Love those too, but for some reason I hate to colour them. This is way much more fun to colour. My little doll is paired up with a DoveCraft paper pad again, Sugar n Spice I believe it's called. My flowers are a mix from WOC and I am roses. The butterfly is from Altheas Mix. Die cuts used here is the lace from MFT, the large rectangle and scalloped one from Spellbinders. In the flower mix I have some leaves that is punched with woodware punches.

As always you can win $15 voucher to spend in the Paper Shelter store if you are using a TPS image on your project. If you don't, you can still win one digi of your own choise. Great isn't it?

So with all this said I welcome you over to the PaperShelter blog. Me and my team can't wait to see what you all come up with for this easy challege! So what are you waiting for?

Papertake Weekly - Dies to die for

Monday, 22 August 2011

Good afternoon!

Monday again and I have the kids home sick again. Second time in two weeks, may it not be like this the whole term. One at home is OK, but not both especially not when I don't feel too well either. Spend the whole day sleeping yesterday because of a nasty cold, was up quite late and finished this card for the neighbour who has a 20 year's party to attened later in the week. This "kid" loves cards and bikes so I went with my all time favourite male image from the Paper Shelter. He is so cool! :)

This is how it turned out this time, and I thought I enter it to the challenge over at Cards for Men were the theme is Anything goes.

My bike birdy is coloured with promarkers and teamed up with dp from Tim Holtz and some die cuts as well. The black corners are from Wild Orchid Craft. They started their lifes as silver corners...

Have to leave, have to make some dinner now. Take care!

Bling it on at Bearly Mine's

Another two weeks has passed and it's time for a new challenge for you all over at Bearly Mine Challenges. This time it's really nice and easy as the theme is Bling it on!

For my card this time I made it really easy for me as my hands is on vacation. Well that how it feels anyway. Having trouble to get in touch with my left arm and hand but it's there, I can see it! LoL I used one of the lovely papers from the Christmas Frolics digi sets and I just needed this one as it looks as it has many different designs on it. Perfect! I combinded it with some red ribbon and a few die cuts to get the card a little lighter. I back the sweet Lenny on gold card and added some gemstones in his tree to really let it bling! A few flowers from Prima, Wild Orchid, Kort och gotd and I am roses. Some pearls from Bunny Zoe and I was done. Lenny also got a tiny bit of flower soft on his clothers. Nice and fluffy.

So very easy this week, but I still hope you can get some inspiration from it. Until next time, I look forward to see what you come up with over at the BMC challenges. Oh, by the way my lovely friend Lenny here is from the Stamp Fairy and he has a whole bunch of lovely friends as well. Check them all out over at the Stamp Fairy. This week as well we have lots of lovely prizes up for grabs. How about all of this?

Christmas time

I thought I better get started on all those Christmas cards that needs to be done. So I took some time Saturday and checked for some nice sketches to get me started. Hurried slowly and finished a card today. Not a master piece but at least I got it done. I'm happy that I made it so far as my vrists continue to play games with me. A new doctor's appointment tomorrow and hopefully I will get into the three week of rehab period. Would be great to get some new energy and input. Feel that I need that.

Oh well, Christmas it was...

A Lili of the Valley image from last year and a paper pack from Dovecraft matched up with some flowers from WOC and lace of corse. Some dark red pearls from BunnyZoe and I was done. Nice and simple! I have followed the wonderful sketch from Two Sisters Challenge.

A card made a little while back

Good afternoon! Sitting here feeling crappy again. Well, I have a little time on my own now as the rest of the family is on a party. Not the best place to be with headace. Time to post a card again as it has not been lots of it lately. Have keept a little too busy I think by making a few cards that was needed to day and then some party decorations as well. A tiny bit too much, have to start to plan better I guess. :) So can anyone tell me how to fit in about 80 X-mas cards to the first of December without having to stress about them? Oh well, it's just August and I have started to colour...

Ok, then back to my card. A friend of my mum, and auntie turned 70 the other week and they wanted me to make a card in blue and white. It didn't quite end up like that but almost. LoL I used one of the wonderful Sarah Kay images coloured with distress ink. Matched it all up with flowers, ribbon, metal corners, pearls, a swirl...The DP is Maja Design, "Lantliv". Wonderful papers! I also believe I snuck in a piece from the "Skärgårdsliv" as well.

And now off to the lovely Feline Playful blog to see if I can fit the card into some challenges as well. Hope you're having a great weekend!

Love n hugs

Veronica and Pedro keeps busy designing all those lovely papers and digis. As the theme is stitching I have added some faux stitching around the image and the outline of the DP.

My flowers are from wild orchid, Kortd og godt and I am roses. Big mix here. :) Some dew drops made with pearl maker pen and then some pearls from Bunny Zoe as well. Topped of with some glitter on the flowers.

Now be sure to pop on over to the Paper Shelter and join the fun. As always we have a $15 voucher as a prize if you use a TPS image, and one digi of your choise if you use another brand's stamp/digi.

A few challenges for this card

Monday, 25 July 2011

Morning to you all!

A very long night has finally come to an end. Someone that what wants to buy a fighting knee joint? I'm so tired of it! So much for an op, changing from one kind of pain to another. How fun! NOT! OK, I'm done complaining. On the bright side, I made a card during the night. It would have been a big waste of time just laying around doing nothing. So I used the PFP sketch again and came up with this.

The papers are from Papermania and the image is a Mo Maning one, I just adore it. Well I adore all images with cats on it, that's just who I am. Flowers are from Prima and Wild Orchid Crafts. The lace is also from WOC. Coloured with promarkers of corse.

Love n hugs
Marie
