A little while ago my neighbour asked me to make them a card for wedding they would attened. I got it done and photographed but it's still unpublished here. Thought I do it now, what a bright gal I am! :)
I have used an image from Whiff of Joy and used it together with papers from Magnolia's wedding collection. Flowers are from Wild Orchid Crafts and some are punched with an Eksuccess Punch. The image is coloured with Aquamarkers from Letraset.
Love n hugs

So for my card this week then. I have used chef Burly Becky. Thought he could cook up some Valentines dinner. The designer paper is from PinkPetticoat from Liz's great gingham set. The hearboarder is made with a die from Whiff of Joy. Gemstones from stash.
With this I leave you for today. I do hope you come and join our fun challenge this week. Remember, hearts it is!
Love n hugs for you all!

Another little creation
Oh yes! I did make a bunch of these little boxes for the cat shelter the other week. I have shown two of them so far I think. Here comes no. 3. This is also made with DP from Donnas Bearly Mine Design. I am so in love with these DP. And I love to get them in to the right size already in the computer. Can't be any better!
For this I have also used a Hänglar image coloured with my promarkers. Some flowers made with a Marianne createable die and flowers and leafs from Wild Orchid Craft. Swirly stamps from Whiff of Joy. God Jul sentiment from Stämpelgården.
Have a wonderful Monday!
Hugs,
Marie

Winterwonder land challenge - A one layer card!
Oh dear! I thought when I read this. The Winter wonderland challange is one layer card. How do I do that? Then I watched my son soon to be four years old playing and painting with my distress inks. If he can, I can and this is what I ended up with. Willy uses brushes as he loves to paint with them. (He costs me a fortune in distresser). I need quality he says, and refuses to paint with watercolours and other fun stuff they have at daycare. Maybe I shouldn't have allowed him to try these, but it's so great to sit next to him and feel his joy when it comes to this. That he is the only one besides me that are allowed to use my stuff. He grews iches every time we sit here. It's absolutly worth it.
So I used some blue distress inks, faded jeans mostly. A few swirly stamps from Whiff of joy, a santa's head from Panduro. And off I went with the gold and clear embossing powders. I kind of like it and it's fun to try stuff you have not done before. It's good with variations in the crafting day/week/month... :)
So take care and have fun!
Hugs,
Marie

The long going challenge at Altheas Mix
I guess I've been in this Altheas Mix Christmas Challenge for about four weeks now or so. And all cards made are very unusal styles for me. But after giving it a bit of a chance how to speak I really enjoy making this kind of cards as well with out any colouring. This weeks challenge is brown and white by the way.
The card for today is made with a Christmas tree from Marianne Design (a die cutting stencil) some (fake) craft card from pinkpretticoat, swirly christmas stamps from Whiff of Joy, some snow flowersoft and some half pearls. Some white Basil cardstock and a white gel pen to finish eveything of and I'm done. And in good time this week. Not last minute as the other weeks. My mojo seems to be coming back and it's wonderful!
Take care and enjoy your day!
Hugs,
Marie

Two cards for you today
I got lucky and won at Susie and Vikki's Christmas Club last week and got a chanse to guest design for them, and here is the two cards I made for this purpose. The challenge has by the way change name since Vikki has left it to spend more time with her family and have also gotten a new job. Congrats to that! The challenge is now called Die Cut Dreams Christmas Club. Pop over and join the challenge. It's nice to get a head start with all those X-mas cards, even if it's a bit strange feeling making the cards in the middle of the summer. :)
The lovely sketch is made by Vikki, thanks for that. It was such a joy to work with and suited more than one style of card. That is always good.
The red one is made for my youngerst nephew Felix. He will be about one year old when it's X-mas again. Nice and clean for kids that age. The image used is also from my prize last week, a digi stamp called "Roocat in Stocking". It's really cute and of some reason it reminds me of Felix's dog Rocky a huge rottweiler. But he behaves like a big kitten, he and one of my own cats are the best of friends. DP are all from PinkPrettycoat. The image is coloured with promarkers. The image is by the way from Prairie Fairy Designs which you can find here.
My second card is made with an image from Whiff of joy from last year. DP are all Magnolias. Flowers are prima and wild Orchid crafts. Half pearls from Stämpelgården. This one is coloured with distress inks.
Time for some rest and maybe a little card making as well. The weather here reminds me of fall with lots of stong winds and rain every now and then, so what better do than go and make a card and rest for a little while?
Have a good day everyone!
Hugs,
Marie

A card made for "Kort i Fokus"
This card I show you today I start to take part in a Swedish challenge called "Kort i Fokus" but I never finished it in time. It is like that every now and then you know. I couldn't decide if it was ready or not. In the end I didn't put anything more on it. Maybe a little sentiment would have been nice. Not too late before I send it away is it?
Anyway, I've used an image from Whiff of Joy, coloured her with inkadinks brights. Flowers are from Wild Orchid crafts, spellbinders scalloped and ordinary circles are used, ribbon from Panduro, DP bought from Skaparlusten, Punsh from MS. A pink pearlmaker has also been out to decorate the card.
Hope you'll have a wonderful day!
Hugs,
Marie

Whiff of joy GDT call
Totally unlike me, I give this with a guest designer call a try. It's a challenge in a big way. But fun at least. Used one of the wonderful stamps from last years autumn kit. I love the grapes in her hair. :) The image is coloured with distress ink refills. DP are from K & Co if I remember right. I've used so roses from Wild Orchid crafts, the celebration stamps from an extra "bits and bob's kit". Lace from my grandmothers, some white half pearls and some rose leafs as well. Stickles (frosted lace) on the flowers.
Read this info and you'll find more of it at the blog Stamping with Whiff of Joy

And so, here comes the card finally. It has not even dried yet. I don't have the time to wait till morning so it has to be like this for now. Thanks for looking! (Sorry for the really bad photo, taken in the laundry room, best light in the house, ehh?)
Have a good evening and hugs,
Marie

Thank you challenge at Just Magnolia this week
Hi there! Have managed to make a second card this week and it's for the Just Magnolia challenge. The theme is "Thank you". Follow the link and you'll find out more about this challenge. I don't know how many times I coloured this Tilda in with the distress inks before I gave up and took the promaker pens instead. Twice Tage made sure that I had foot print on the image. A very helpful cat. Another two times W help out and gave it all a very mystic feel with tons of distress inks all over. I'm glad that it as just the image. They sure did have fun. I am really sure that Tage did it on purpose. A joking cat, is there a "thing" like that?
My card goes all in a shabby chick theme this time. Lots of pink, blue and green. Not as bad as it sounds, that what I'm hoping for at least. I really don't remember from which collection this Tilda came from, last summer I guess. The sentiment stamp is from Whiff of Joy. My DP for this week is a down load from "Pickelberry pop" called "Rosy cheeks". Really lovely papers! :) I've also used some Prima flower, roses from WOC, a heart from a local store, half pearls, a boss cut swirly corner and a piece of ribbon.

I'm sorry about the crappy photo. It's raining and is very dull and grey here today. Not a good photo weather for cards today. I hope you all have a good day. It's time for me to pick up the kids at kindergarten. Time do fly by! LoL
Take care and hugs,
Marie
