Another one

Back after my training at the gym and I thought that I should do another card blogging as I have one laying around just waiting to be published. :)

This one is for the Friday Sketchers. Hope me slightly changing the LO is OK. I needed the ribbon to go all the way down on the card as my image is so big.

The image is also this from Prairie Fairy called "Barrel". This one is also coloured with my promarkers and it was such a joy to colour in. Flowers are from Wild Orchid Craft and the little heart from Scraplagret and pearl string from stämpelgården. DP are Basic Grey "Going green" or something like that. There is also a few prima flowers under the cherry blossoms.

Time to hit the shower and relax for a bit before it's time to pick up the boys.

Have the most wonderful day!

Hugs,
Marie

Another one for passion for Promarkers and Papertake weekly

Hi there!
Tomorrow is my last day out of three weeks working out and learning good stuff about my body and illness. In this totally busy period I've managed to create something for PFP and PTW. Not my usually card, but a little spring basket. It was so much fun to make and the result is way over my own expectation so I think I have to try this one again.

I've used the sketch provided by PTW and the theme from PFP. The sketch is  this lovely one, and the theme is Springtheme with animal. Any colours do. I do hope that my little Tilda bunny counts as an animal. :)

My images are from Magnolia. Lots of tulips that are cut out and raised from the panel to give some dept. The text is rubb ons from Letraset. Cherry blossoms from Wild Orchid craft and so is the ribbon. DP are once again from my supermarket pack, the spring part of it. Really wonderful colours but my photo is pretty bad and it doesn't show the colours properly. A little heart charm from Pagoni.se is added to the little card.

The little gift card/tag.

One side of the basked filled with easter eggs, almond and chocolate, mmmm

The other side of the basked, with the same candy. :)

And one "small" side, the other one looks the same. :)

I found the model for the basket in the magazine "scrapbooks etc". Loved to stitch it all together. Totally fun the whole project. I'm so glad that I managed to use Dawny's sketch in it as well. Well off for some crimestories. Have been up since really early this morning. My youngerst turned two, and was up way too early for me. But he has had a really great day!

A good evening to you all.

Hugs,
Marie

Friday sketchers week 94

Hi and hello! A grey and dull day but all the snow is finally melting away. Slowly, slowly. Wonderful! Have been waiting a long time for that now. I missed last weeks challenge at Friday Sketchers so I thought that I start this weekend with FS. Well, I actually made a card for last weeks challenge but blogger wouldn't put my stuff out there in the blogging world, so I save that to another day. :)

This week however I hope my card will be able to show. Hey! I am able to write so the picture shouldn't be any problem right? This is way more than I manage to write last week. -lol-

The sketch looks like this and is made by Claudia.

Here comes my card

For this card I've used Magnolia's Tingla as the card is for a Christening. Flowers from Prima, Wild Orchid craf and Stämpelgården. The little hearts are from Pagoni.se. DP are Pink Parafit from Forever Friends range. Pearls from Bunny Zoe.

Now we're going out the whole family to get some air and get away from home for a little while. Wish you all a very good day!

Hugs,
Marie

Friday Sketchers week 92

Hi out there in the blog world!
I hope that you're having a way much better day than I am, and it's only 09,30. It's totally crazy and the olders son has tummy flue for the third  day. And of cours Mats is working the weekend as well. I'm so tired! Were only sleeping three hours last night and my mood and temper today is horrable! Thought I would blog this card and see if I can calm down a little. I feel like I'm drowning at the moment, not a very good feeling.

Well then, card time! In the middle of all this mess that is over here at the moment I managed to make a card last night for the Friday Sketch challenge. Never think I've been this early. :) I have three busy weeks coming up with lots of different kind of work outs all day long at the hospital, so I guess I won't be making many cards the coming weeks.

The sketch made by Claudia...

For the card I've used Mimosa from Bildmålarna.se, tons of pearls from both Bunny Zoe and Skaparlusten. Flowers are from Prima and Stämpelgården, and so are the rose buds. Paper string from Prickiform, the MS heart is from Tracy at dies to die for, just coloured it in with a pink promarker pen. Leafs are from Wild Orchid Crafts. Mimosa is coloured with distress inks. DP is from Panduro and the brown "wellie paper" came with a gift to one of my sons. Reusing today. Loved the effect with that harsh and kind of rough look with the more girly pink. The sentiment is die cutted with a tiny alpha from Sizzix, Neon Mini I think it's called. It says "happy birthday" in Swedish. A good amount of glitter is also used on the card. It was snowing a lot last night and I kind of got hit the X-mas spirit again. Crazy I know but it's over now. :) Gold glitter is from Panduro and cotton candy from Rangers.

The card made by MI...

Well, guess I have to go and take care of the kids even if I feel like running away from home at the moment.
Take care every one and have a good day!

Hugs,
Marie

Paper take weekly challenge Sketch 35 and Passion for Promarkers colour combo + theme

Good evening! Finally managed to get a coulpe of cards done and here is the first one. A combo of two challenges PTW and PfP. Good to be able to combine every now and then. :) Then after this I'm of to watch the 50 km of cross country Skiing in the olympic games. Have been fun but now I kind of glad that it's over. Two weeks are enough for me at least. :)

The card is based on the sketch from PTW and it looks like this. The colours of PfP this week is tulip yellow and baby pink and the theme is stitching real of fake.

My card comes here

For this week's card I've used little Mimosa from Bildmalarna.se. A real cutie! Papers are from MME and came free with a card making magazine earlier this week. Flowers are from Panduro and Wild Orchid craft. Leaf are made with a die from Mariannes that I bought from The craft barn. A MS punsh is also used, together with some half pearls from Joanna Sheen.

OK, I'm off to the TV in a short while. Take good care and have a nice evening.

Hugs,
Marie

Friday sketchers week 90

At Friday Sketchers this week we have a lovely sketch to follow from Beatrix. The DT has done great job with it. Check them out on the FS blog to see for yourself! Great inspiration!

The skech looks like this

For my card I've used one of the new images from Bildmalarna.se. Mimosa is coloured with distress inks. DP are from Panduro once again. Flowers from Wild Orchid Craft and Prima. Stickle added to the flowers are Cotton candy and chrystal from Rangers, halft pearls from Bunny Zoe. Sentiment computer written on Letraset safmat. (It's not that visable in real life like on the picture).

Now time for me to do some cross stítching. A little work out for my hands and fingers. They are not having a great day how to speak. I'm tired of all pain everywhere in my body. Would love for it to take a break for a few weeks.

Well, hope you have a better day than me.
Take care and hugs,
Marie

Just Magnolia sketch week 43

Good afternoon to you all!
A quickie post from me today as one of the kids are home from kindergarten sounding like a broken car or something simular. The card is made for the Just Magnolia Challenge.

This week I've used to Magnolia images Tilda with strawberries and a doggie. I use the masking technic way too seldom so I thought it was time again. They are coloured with distress inks. Have used some dark red half pearls from Bunny Zoe, roses from Wild orchid crafts and the white ribbon is from there as well. A couple of pearl pins, retro flower punches and grass punch is also used together with a MS boarder punch. All DP are from Magnolia Ink. Also used a little piece of left over lace.

Time to take care of W again. We're watching every movie the kids have I think. At the moment we're on the second movie about "Tintin".

Take care and hugs,
Marie

Papertake weekly Check this out!

At Papertake weekly this week the Challenge is "Check this out!" Which means tons of different kind of squares I guess.

I manage to make my card with DP from Papermanias Blue Berry hill and a Tilda pad from Panduro that actually matched up in the colours. I'm still amazed by that. :) I've also used some stickles, flowers from Prima and Wild orchid craft, some pins from Whiff of Joy, card candy and some heart gems from stash. Image used is "Tilda with cat" (from Magnolia) once again. Kind of my fave at the moment. Ribbon is also from Panduro's Tilda range.

Time for some rest and relaxing downstairs, may be even a little fire.

Take care and hugs,
Marie

Friday Sketchers week 89

Hi again! Sundays seems to be my blogging day when I get all my postings done. Third time today, and my last for this week. Thank God you probably think! :)

I end my blogging with a card made for the Friday Sketchers challenge blog. A nice and simple sketch from Aud. Very useful one. I've once again used my DP from Panduro, flowers from Wild Orchid crafts, cat charm from Landstoken.se, Tilda with cat from Magnolia and half pearls from Bunny Zoe. The flowers are really covered in stickles from Rangers Waterfall and frosted lace. Tilda are coloured with distress inks.

Aud's sketch

My card

The Olympic games are on and I'm going to get down to the fire and watch some of it, and cross stitch for a while since I've got tones of pain in my hands and knees today. Well, cross stitching won't help my knees but my hands will feel better after some stitching. Very strange but true!

Oh, by the way. I support a cat shelter called "Katthemmet Kompis". It burned down on New Year's day. They are still looking for ten cats that has not been found yet, but the other day one of those cats got caught after one and a half month out in this cold and snowy weather. Now it's "only" nine to go. It's kind of a miracle that Memphis came home again. That's the name of the sweet little lady that is back in the warmth again. Welcome home sweetie! :)

Have a good evening!
Hugs for each and every one,
Marie

Friday Sketchers week 88

At Friday Sketchers there is once again a great sketch to work with and since I like great sketches and are not very good at it myself, this is the perfect challenge for me. I hope to learn something, I always hope for that. This week it's the lovely Tanja that provides the sketch for us, how nice of you! :) It's a really great one! Again! -smile-

My image is from this winter's club kit from Magnolia as you probably see. I've added som cherry blossoms from Wild Orchid crafts, DP from Panduro once again, as the charm and ribbon, half pearls from Joanna Sheen. Tilda is coloured with distress inks in "brownish" colours. And do you know what? I actually like the finished look of this card. It's not often I do that because I think I have so much to learn, but this one turned out just fine. Hurray!

It's (more) than the middle of the night now and I really have to go to bed and sleep a little. It's totally wired to be up at this point of the (day) night. No one else is awake just me and the cat, Hasse who is happily playing with one of his toy rats. I'll leave you with this!

Have a good night everyone!

Hugs,
Marie

A spoon full of sugar goes sketchy

A spoon full of sugar has a lovely sketch for us all to follow this week.It looks like this and it's made by Sonia. Thanks for this great sketch! Great fun to work with. I will be using it again, so thanks a lot!

For my card I've used a Tilda from Magnolia, DP from Panduro. A cookie napkin from House of inspiration.  Half pearls from Bunny Zoe's. Tilda is coloured with distress inks in "happy" colours.

This is finally all from me for today! Three times during the same evening. I have been working on all cards at the same time, so they kind of got finished at the same time as well. Time for some TV-time, finally!

Have a good evening everyone!

Hugs,
Marie

Friday Sketchers week 87

At Friday Sketchers this week there is a lovely sketch made by Jeanette. Clean and simple, and a treat to work with. Thanks a bunch for that one.

My card is made with a little help for a Sugarnellie image from last year, coloured with distress inks. Half pearls from Bunny Zoe's. Flowers from stash, McGill fernpunch for leafs. Can't remember from were this bright DP is but I do love the colours. ;) Sentiment is cut from a dovecraft stamp. Ribbon from Wild Orchid Crafts and I think that's cover it all. It was a nice sketch to work with and I think I'll be using this one again. Good when you need to finish a card fairly quick.

It's snowing again and the boys love it. But wonder why it is so much of it? To be honest so do I! Guess I have to go out and clean up in front of the mail box. Don't want a mad postman, then I would not get my supplies in one piece! :)

Have a good day!
Hugs,
Marie

Just Magnolia Challenge Flowers and hearts

Over at Just Magnolia this week the challenge is "Hearts and Flowers" as the sponsor is Wild Orchid Crafts. The best and cheepest roses around. :) For my card this week I borrowed a sketch from Cupcake Craft Challenge. It's about two weeks old. I never got the chance to play in that challenge as time ran out but I loved the sketch and now I got a good reason to use it. It's wonderful and I'm sure I'll use it again. :) Thanks to CCC for the sketch. :)

So my card then. Today it goes in blue, white, black and lilac. My DP are from Panduro, flowers from WOC, some retro punched flowers, rose leafs, black and white half pearls (from BunnyZoe), ribbon (from Panduro). My pearl rings are from "TiiMari" as well as the little lilac "sticks" and hearts. Tilda is coloured with promarkers this time.

OK, I'm off to take care of the boys again. M has gotten sick just like the rest of us has been earlier this week. How fun is that?

Have a good day!
Hugs,
Marie

Papertake weekly challenge week 33

Hi you all!
This card is made for the Papertake weekly Challenge where the theme is a sketch for us all to follow.

The sketch

My card is made with a down load called "pocket full of posies" another DCWV down load found at 300 dpi. The pink rectangle is from another down load called "Rosy Checks" from Pickleberrypop. The colour of the paper reminded me of blueberries with milk like my grandma used to give me when I was a little kid. :) And that just had to be there as well with all those lovely berries in Tildas basket.

I've used some card candy from Cardcrafts, roses and leafs from Wildorchid crafts. My stamps are both from Magnolia, and blueberry Tilda is coloured with distress inks. Some half pearls are also added to the flower bunches. :) The sentiment says a simple "Happy birthday" in Swedish.

Have lovely evening everyone!

Hugs,

Marie

Sketch challenge at Just Magnolia

Over at Just Magnolia this week the theme is a sketch made by Jay Jay. It looks like this and it's great fun to work with it. Thank you for that Jay Jay!

Here is my card! DP from the "Blue Berry hill collection", flowers from WildOrchid Craft and Prima. Cotton candy and frosted lace stickles added to the flowers, a couple of ribbons. Tilda from Yummy for your tummy collection and I'm done! Tilda is coloured with distress inks from TH.

A worldrecord for me, 5 cards and challenges the same week! I am amazed. :) At the cat shelter which burned down some weeks ago, they have manage to catch another surviver the last couple of days. She eats like crazy now. Guess I would too if I hadn't got a proper meal in three weeks. :)

Take care everyone and hugs,
Marie

Whiff of joy GDT call

Totally unlike me, I give this with a guest designer call a try. It's a challenge in a big way. But fun at least. Used one of the wonderful stamps from last years autumn kit. I love the grapes in her hair. :) The image is coloured with distress ink refills. DP are from K & Co if I remember right. I've used so roses from Wild Orchid crafts, the celebration stamps from an extra "bits and bob's kit". Lace from my grandmothers, some white half pearls and some rose leafs as well. Stickles (frosted lace) on the flowers.

Read this info and you'll  find more of it at the blog Stamping with Whiff of Joy

And so, here comes the card finally. It has not even dried yet. I don't have the time to wait till morning so it has to be like this for now. Thanks for looking! (Sorry for the really bad photo, taken in the laundry room, best light in the house, ehh?)

Have a good evening and hugs,
Marie

Passion for promarkers challenge 33 sketch and a theme

Hello everyone in the winterworld!
Finally some time for a little blogging and a challenge. I've been totally off the last week as the cat shelter I support burnt down completly. It's so hard to believe that everything is gone. Most of the cats have made it as it seems. Hurray! 14 out of 50 are still missing and no one know if they are alive or dead. The shelter is found in the contry and are surrounded by a forrest so hopefully a few more of the cats have survived there. Many ran out there when the fire started. Keep your fingers crossed for the brave and strong people who are still out there looking for the lost cats. I am happy that so many cats made it and that it will all be rebuilt again. This time a little smaller than before. Think that is a good decition as it is really hard work. So now we're going to be a support home for the cat shelter. A little earlier than we had planed for but some things you don't decide on your own. I kind of thought my boys where too young for that, but it was OK with the cat shelter. They said that it gave them cats that can go anywere if they have already been around young kids.

The challenge this week at Passion for Promarkers are a sketch and a theme, "with love". Follow the link to learn more about it. The sketch looks like this.

Well my card then. A Magnolia stamp "Tilda with cat" (of course what else at this moment?) A heart attatched with a brad, some flowers from Prima and the roses from Wild Orchid Crafts, card candy from craftwork cards, downloaded papers from Pinkpretticoat and the dotty one from another download, can just don't remember were at the moment. I do know that I slightly changed the colour on that one. :) And of course the picture is coloured with the promarkers. Some pearl strings as well are added. I love this sketch. Have already used it three times, and I'll probably use it again. Thanks so much for it! :)

This would be it for today. I'm going down to my basement to do some cross stitching and relax infront of the fire again. It's cold here as well. :)

Take care and hugs for you all,
Marie
