A card because it's fun to colour

Morning and hello!

I am back and surprise! It's not a Christmas card! :) I have been making many of them lately and I have fun making them, I have always loved making Christmas cards, best time of the year and having it all year around, can't be any better than that. :)

I have been playing with a really old stamp from my stash. It is a Sugar Nellie stamp that I have had for probably 10 years or so. I used to play with their stamps all the time and when I found them in my stash again, it was great fun to find the stamps again. I know that I played with some of their Christmas stamps last year. 

I don't remember what this one is called but I had fun playing with little Miss Sunflower. I have been in my leftover bag once again and managed to get this card made. It's a bit busy but every now and then can I stand that feeling! The thick lines in the image cools all the patterned down a bit.

Now is it up to you, get busy creating!

Christmas Cheers for the first time in March

Morning!
 I know that spring is almost here again and I am making christmas cards and I love it! I have dug out an old stamp from Sugarnellie and I love this sweet santa with an old feeling to him. It's really sweet don't you think?

I have dug out some of my Maja design papers to give him a great company of lovely designer papers. I have also used some of my old magnolia dies like the trees that I have added snow and glitter too. Some paper roses and some stars of different kind goes as a snow feeling to the card. The sentiment is from Nellie Snellen I think. Now is it time to see if spring is here soon.

Christmas Cheers 9-24

Morning and hello!

The end of May is here and I am back with a new Christmas creation. Need to build my stash with more than just mini cards for Christmas. Today have I also gotten back in my digital stamp stash and found this shining star in my collection. I think I have bought it from Sugar Nellie but are not totally sure. It was a while since I coloured and printed this image. 

The designer papers are from Simple Stories and I think I have mixed two different paper pads for this one. They are fair busy, but so are Christmas. I have used lots of bling like gemstones, glitter paper for my snowflakes, a charn in the shape of a snowflake and to that a sheer ribbon with silver snowflakes on it. 

Hope you have found some inspiration to make a Christmas card or two! You know you will thank yourself when December arrives! ;)

Just for fun 6-24

Morning and hello!

Hi! It's me again and I have been having fun playing with my papers, digi stamps and rubber stamps again. I have had a few hours of colouring a while back and a few weeks ago did I start to make cards with all my coloured stuff. Now do I have to start to colour again as I only have a few left to make into cards.

 

This image is a real blast from the past, do you remember Sugar Nellie stamps? This is one of a few of these lovely girl faces that they had in their store. I loved them then and I love them now. They are such sweet images that stands out from the rest around during these days. 

I have paired this lovely sunflower girl up with some matching designer papers from Maja Design. Such great match! I love it when my papers can pick up on something from my images. Turned out well this time!

Christmas Cheers 11-23

Morning and hello!

It's time for another Christmas card from me. I have used another oldie but goodie from Sugar Nellie. This is a favorite image of mine., it makes me smile every time. Wonder how many cards I can make with this stamp without getting bored?

I have had fun with my Maja Design papers for this card. I don't know from which paper pad these are but one of the newer ones. I have used a snowflake die to make some snowflakes with and fence die from Magnolia. And that is all I have used for this card together with many layers of card stock.

Christmas Cheer 20-21

Happy Christmas to you all!

Another day another Christmas card for you all to take inspiration from. I know we are in the middle of Christmas right now but there is more Christmases coming our way. At least I hope so. 

I have been playing with some old stamps from Sugar Nellie. I think they are from around 2012 or something like that. Oldie but a goodie right? I love the style of this Santa and I have paired him up with some designer papers from Maja Design, Happy Christmas paper pad. 

Some dies from Magnolia (trees and the fence), from Gummiapan: the sentiment saying Merry Christmas in Swedish. Snowflake die from unknown brand. Some little balls of cotton or something simular to that makes my little snowball light. I have also used some dark red ribbon and some Nuvo Drops in green to finish the whole thing up. My trees are decorated with some glitter snow from Aileens.
