A tiny bit lost in the days...

Ok, they say it's Wendsday again and I was about to forgot to post. My gosh! What shall I do about myself. Confused is just my first name! The theme over at For Fun this week is

End of the school year
As I don't have any kids going to school nor any graduations around me this year I kind of went for a summer look. We are at least having some vacation from daycare in the beginning of July. A "a few" weeks left, but it will probably pass by fairly quick. We have a long weekend this one with national day on Monday and there is a few extra red days as well in the end of this week. Will be nice to have everyone at home for a little longer, especially since Mats has been working way too much lately.

So this week we are sponsored by the lovely people over at Di's digi downloads. I have colored with my copics this time, in the darkness in the TV sofa, hope it doesn't show too much, or it might be a good thing. :) My youngest doesn't sleep too well, and sometimes the TV sofa is the only place that he can sleeps. Much due to the brace he has to wear when he sleeps.

Anyway, back to the card, colored with copics...some string to represent some boating life, and a few "exotic" flowers, some pearls and leafs and to top it all of a charm from BunnyZoe. The net thingie is also from her lovely store. The dp are from Dovecraft "Back to basic 1" if I'm not totally lost here.

So with this rumblings I end this post here and wish you all the best. The link to the challenge is up in my sidebar, just click it and join the fun!

Sunday and the sky is pink and blue

It has been a lovely warm and nice day here in Kalmar today. Now the sun is setting and it's getting late. Have spent most of the day outside and are now both tired and a tiny bit sunburned. Maybe summer is on it's way? We had snow earlier this week so I'm not convinced yet. :) Since the weather has be great to day, just cold winds, did we take the kids to a farming school not too far from here and watched together with about 3000 other people when they let their cows out for the first time this season. Lots of fun! Oh boy! Cows are really big, especially when they come jumping and running towards you. Can't believe I wanted to have at least one before. To my defence, I just wanted a little red mountain cow, not a beast! LoL

Ok, I do actually have a card to show you as well. It shows a Lili of the Valley image that is coloured with my promarkers and some copics I believe. DP are from Bearly Mine. Took them out of the scrap box, so I can't really remember from which set they are. Sorry Donna, you have created so many now, it takes forever to find out. :) Roses and hearts are from Wild Orchid Crafts and the pearl string from Stämpelgården when it was still around. I miss them always the best of service. Please come back!

Love n hugs
Marie

I would like to enter this card to a few challenges:

Wendsday's challenge no 2, now we're going to The PaperShelter

Hi and hello! I'm back again for the second time today. Wendsdays are a bit nuts here at my blog as I have to challenges going up the same day. Oh well, you are clever people and can scroll up and down in all this mess. :)

For this challenge we ask you to create something that has to do with this theme
Spring fling!
Not so hard is it? Over at the Papershelter there is a whole bunch of lovely images you can get you hands on for a great price. Using the PaperShelter images gives you the chance to win a great price!

If I have a card? - Of corse I do! I have been a little bit naugthy and used both a digi image from the PaperShelter and a Magnolia back ground stamp. I thought the little bee needed something to look at, and those flowers is just what he needs for his honey isn't it? I put the back ground in a little frame made in gingham papers from Pink Pretticoat, the others are from Bearly Mine Designs. You find the link in my side bar. I cut the little guy out and then gave him some new antennas made with pearl string and some beads. I have also bended his wings a little bit for some more dimension. My little winged friend is coloured with copic markers this time. I have used a few pearls from BunnyZoes and a butterfly from Altheas Mix for decorations. Less is more this time.

Now it's time for me to sit down and try to create something for coming challenges and maybe something just for the fun of it. I wish you all a wonderful afternoon and a big thank you for visiting me today. I'm looking forward to see you at the challenge blog.

With love and hugs

Marie

And a few challenges to go with the card
Papertake Weekly - Three of something (I've got three designer papers here. Green one in the back, hearts and flowers and gingham + groups with three pearls in them)
Karen's Doodles - Spring (Don't need to explain do I?)
Scrap, stamp and Doodle Saturdays - Spring has sprung

Another Paper Shelter Card

In the middle of all colds and flues have I now finally managed to get a card together. So much easier when the oldest is home being sick. Then we cuddle down in the sofa with lots of pillows and blanchets watching cartoons and I can do my cards at the same time. At least the colouring part. :)

For this card I have used the fun image "Crocodile Love" from the Paper Shelter. They are coloured with a mix of promarkers and copics. Have also used a white gel pen on the thooth to make them sparkling white. The designer papers are from DCWV digi download, "madly in love". Flowers are from Prima, brads from Joanna Sheen, half pearls BunnyZoe as well as the webb ribbon. Cardwork Card Candy in the corners and leafs punshed with a couple of woodware punches. The pearl hearts are from Wild Orchid Craft. Card stock is from Bazzil.
Now time to dive in to bed again. Being around two sick boys has made me sick, again as well. My back is still killing me as well. Not a very good week this I would say, but it can only get better!

I enter my card to the following challenges:
Papertake Weekly Challenges - Anything goes + flowers
The sisterhood of Crafters - Anything goes
Do it with digis - Valentines
Simon Says Stamp - Love is in the air
Bunny Zoe - Love is in the air
Love n hugs

New week, new challenge over at For Fun

So a week goes by so quickly and it's already time for a new challenge over at For Fun Challenges. And this week we really have a challenge for you.

Make a box or something that holds card to give as a gift.

OK! What do you think? Is that a challenge or what? It can not be easy all the time. This one only gets as hard as you want it to. I decided to go with a simple box made with a little help from my Scoring pal. Others in the team has done other little boxes and bags to keep cards in. Be sure to check them all out. You find my lovely mates in the sidebar.

For this project I used cardstock from Bazzil in some kind of pink and the lovely digi download from Pink Pretticoat "wildrose". Really lovely papers and they went so well with my shabby look. I used a free download for the rose. I am very sad to say that I can't for the world remember where I found it. If someone knew, please let me know so I can give credit to this wonderful piece of art. I made three cards to be put in my box and they all look the same. The lid of the box is decorated with a big bunch of flowers from Wild Orchid Craft, some lace, pearl string, pearls, cardcandy and some other bits and bobs from my stash. Lots of fun building up that as I don't use that much flowers on my cards. They get so bulky and by that expensive to send out. But every now and then, like today.

So don't get put of by this challenge, give it a try and show us what you have done. We would love to see what you can come up with!

Love n hugs
Marie
