Make it digital - up dated

Morning and hello! Due to illness will my card be late. The worst cold ever has got stuck on my joints and makes things really slow and painful.

Almost a week late but it have been really hard days now. Myself being sick, one of the cat isn't feeling good and I am up feeding him a few times per night and during the weekend even worse news when I found out that a dear blogging friend of mine has passed away.

RIP Eileen Taylor. You will be missed by many. We have been teamies in many teams Eileen and I. She was a part of the TPS family for many years and I remember that she had 56 follower then. A few more now.  Then have we been teamies over at Passion for Promarkers and she has the last year been the boss lady over the Winter Wonderland Challenges where I also have been working with this fun lady. It was a joy to have you on the TPS team and having you as a blogging friend and teamie over the years. It feels empty with out you around in blogland. Sending hugs to your friends and family. Sleep tight!

Well, I did have my card ready for the Make it digital challenge over at the Paper Shelter. As I have a hard time coloring at the moment did I use the pre coloured fisherman. He is adorable and the image is fun. I really love it.

I have used an old Dovecraft paper pad for this card. Male something I don't have the packing left but tons of dp's. I have used some glossy accent and a wink of stella brush pen for a bit of sparkling on the big and small fishes. I did also manage to make a fishing rod of some bambu stick and silver string. Kind of like how that little detail ended up. Oh well, I have been up since 04:00 this morning not to missing out calling the vet when she opens her clinc. Bullen is there for treatment now. Big trouble with a tooth and his kidneys. It's the worst combo as he can't be sedated without a risk of him going to sleep forever. We'll see how it goes. He was going to get some warm fluids now and hopefully they could get him to eat a little more.

Take care and remember to do something that you enjoy.

New Dt-creation - Feminine Fancy

Morning and hello! Hope life is treating you well, I feel a bit run over myself with tons of pain and headache that won't ease. I am try to remove one of my meds and it might be that which gives me headache from h.... All my muscles in the neck and shoulder area is also totally a mess and that gives pain as well. I really don't want to get up from bed as it is now. Just want to stay in the darkness. Well, can only get better can't it?

Can I brag a little? Well I will anyway. I've been looking after my brother's dog for almost a week now while my brother and his family have spent a few days in Lissabon. The reason? The open European Championship of Brasilian Ju-jitsu with around 3 500 taking part in the games took place during the weekend. Martin my oldest brother is the former coach of the national team of ju-jitsu and coached one of the most successful teams Sweden have had in that game. Now is he and my youngest brother and the club they represent mainly focusing on the Brasilian version of it. And this weekend was Martins as he ended up in third place in his age group is big. So yet another medal to Team Ingholt! My youngest have a few both European championship and World championship medals. So happy for Martin after all those years with training and testing new stuff and beliving in what he does. It's huge and now is his kids starting to compete as well...

Ok, done bragging because that is nothing I can do when it comes to this lollipop card of mine. Colouring, gluing and cutting can really be painful and so it is this week. But this is what I ended up with. I used one of the Tildas from the adventcalender. It's tiny and it suited me fine today. I used an bunch of die cuts from spellbinders and built up tons of layers for the lollipop. The dp's are from Echo Park but I don't remember what they are called.

Sponsoring our challenge today is dies to die for with a voucher worth £15 if I remember right. And the theme of the challenge is Feminine Fancy.

Thanks for looking and do what makes you happy!

Ribbon and / or lace

Morning and hello! I am back again, second time this week. Now I am here representing the Paper Shelter and our new challenge with the easy peasy theme of "Ribbon and/or lace". It shouldn't be a problem to make a fun creation with that theme, right?

It has been really great getting back to card making again the last couple of days. I just wish that I was a bit faster in my creative process. So fast that I don't get the pains in my back, but hopefully my new traing programme will help sort that, but I guess it will take a few months with good work outs to make a difference.

Anyway, my card for today is made with some old dp's from Pion Design and the new image from the Paper Shelter that is called Bella Vanity Set. It's a bit trick to colour mirrow/glas but this time it turned out ok. I have used my promarkers, a white gel pen, a black outlining pen and some glossy accent to colour it all in. For the nobs on the drawers have I used enamel accent from Rangers.

I wasn't really sure where I was going with this card design and it kind of shows. I added some bits and pieces and then some more, and more and more... Not totally happy about that part but hey I am a bit rusty since it's only the second card in a month or so.

I knew where I wanted my lace to go and managed to fit in a bow tied with a ribbon as well. The lace is really tiny but it's there. I also got a charm on to the card. I need to lower that part of my stash. Metal corners from PY Hobby as well. I love the colour of them, the antique gold. Love it! Ok then, time for me to sign off for today.

Take some time and do something you enjoy!

Add some bling

Morning and hello! Welcome to another year here with me. I hope all the celebrating has been good and that you have had some time to relax as well. Our celebrations became a bit strange and kind of spontaneous as many in the family became sick in tummy flu and colds. I said to the kids all family has at least one Christmas when you are sick and this time it's our turn. I still remember the time when we (as in me and my brothers) was sick during Christmas. I think I was 8 years old then. It has been a lot of colds going around as well, or we have never gotten rid of them. Today starts the school after the Christmas break and hopefully we will all be well again.

Well then, today is a new challenge over at Passion for Promarkers and hosting is well me! This time have I gone for the theme of "add some bling". That would be glitter, gemstones, pearls, enamel dots etc.

I've gone "classic" with a buch of flowers both die cut and paper flowers. They are all coated in some glitter glue + some extra dry glitter. All for the sparkle. I have also used two kinds of pearls and some gemstones. A pink ribbon bow and a rose lace to top it all off. The image is from Magnolia and I think it's called Lovely rose Tilda or something like that. I am back again colouring with my Letraset Markers and you have to do that as well to have a chance of this weeks prize which is sponsored by Bugaboo. My designer papers are from Maja Design. I think it's from the collection Vintage Autumn.

Time for me to sign off for today. It's good to be back and it has good to have a break as well. I only wish that the break had been because I choose to not because we have been sick, but it can only get better, can't it?

Love n hugs
Marie
