Flower Friday

 Morning and hello!
Sitting in my bed watching the rail fall down outside my window. Have Riuben, the cat next to me. He is slowly purring next to me. It's cozy to have him so close even if it gets really warm.

I have played around with an old image from a brand that I can't remember on top of my head. But I have used it a lot during the years. It's a go to image for me. It helps me getting back to colouring and creating as it is a great one to warm up with when it comes to my markers.

I have paired the image with an old paper pad that I can't remember the name of either. Hmm, I have not used much of it but I get happy every time I manage to do some stash busting. The thing is that it take longer time for me to find what I want to use compared to how long time it takes to prep the image and decide what I want to do. I really should contact all crafting stores and forbid them to sell anything at all to me. Well, maybe glue and double sided tape.  and card stock  but that is all. My craft room and letter writing space is over loaded with stuff. It's so much that it would almost feel better starting over without all the stash that I have around.

Have a good weekend and take some time to do what makes you happy.

Hand colored image over at Passion for markers

Morning and hello!
Long time no seen. Have had some lack of inspiration for paper craft and spent most of my time with a crochet hook and yarn. No thinking, just doing. I am still doing my tiny toys for kids ending up at hospital for some reason. But here comes a card from me as we have a new challenge up over at Passion for Markers. This week's theme is set to

HAND COlORED IMAGE
(Markers only)

We do as always, have a lovely sponsor that offer one lucky winner 4 digis of winners pick- This week do we say thank you to the lovely people over at Lili of the Valley.

At my card do you see the sweet image called Toy Rabbit and you find it here. I had such good time colouring this one and it's done with copic markers. Some of my dear old promarkers had escaped from me thanks to my youngest kitty that loves to carry things around and make them swim in their water bowls. I am trying to teach him to use old nerf arrows/bullets instead. They are less expensive. However, it looks totally crazy when he plays with both markers and bullets.

Back to my card.... There will soon be a new baby in the family. One of my nieces is expecting a baby boy in September and I will become the less flattering old auntie to this little bundle of joy. Thought it was perfect to get a card made for the them when I was inspired to do it. :) I have used and old paper pack from Maja Design called Vintage baby. Finally got to use these lovely designer papers. I have even been decorated the inside of the card. Was a while since I did that.

And do you know what? It was great to do a bit of stash busting. Wasn't sure what to use to decorate the card but ended up with a ribbon and bow, some nail art hearts and a few pearls to that. Inside the card will I have the name and the birth day on the left side and a greeting on the right one. I have even dugg out my distress ink and gave all the edges a dash of vintage photo treatment.

It was great fun to create this card and I am actually inspired to start with another one. I believe that it would be a good idea to make a christmas card or two. I am so behind with them. How about you?

Have a good week and dont forget to do something that makes you happy!
