Things with wings + sentiment

Morning and hello! Had a late night last night watching Sweden play handball against Slovenia in Växjö, 130 kms from where I live. It was a blast but there was no time to write this post. We have some inspiration from the B-team and the theme is Things with wings + sentiment.

Our sponsor is The Paper Shelter. I am guessing it's a voucher as it normaly is...

I have used the image Make a wish and coloured with my Letraset Markers. I have also used a Prima pad for this card. Lots of lilacs in this pad which I don't remember the name of. :) I have used the new sketch from Papertake weekly for the lay out.

The flowers are a mix from Magnolia, I am Roses and WOC as usual. I have added some grey thin pearl string from my stash and added a butterfly charm to add a little more wings to my creation. Actually the dp's also have wings on them in the form of birds. Managed to cover them all up. :) A few pearls and a sentiment from stash finish the whole thing up.

Love n hugs for now

Easel does it!

Morning and hello! It's busy week here at my little blog corner. Hope you're all doing fine. Myself have a bit of an earache and a sore throat. I hope that is the cold which is playing games with me, otherwise it's the doctor's office and an allergy test that is up. I am pretty sure it's the last but if I pretend that it's the cold I don't have to go there. I don't want more meds but I am getting grumpy of this and squint all day because the eyes feels tired even when I have just been asleep. Ok, that's it. No more complaining this week, or at least today. :)

We have a new fun challenge up for you all over at Passion for Promarkers. This theme is a classic! We're asking you to share your new wonderful Easel cards. Of course you have coloured with Letraset products. Letraset is also sponsoring this weeks challenge and up for grabs is a set of Promarkers collectors set neutrals. Also sponsoring this week is Michele R design and there we have a gift voucher worth £10 up for grabs. Thanks to our sponsors this week.

Ok then! I have a card made even if it was in nick of time. I have used one of the new Tildas from Magnolia and I have no clue of the name. It was in the new club kit. Have it become smaller? It feels like it... Anyway, this one is sweet and was fun to colour. I have used letraset markers and some prisma pens for adding highlights in the hair. Unlucky for you all I am still in the LOTV paper pad mood and have used the Pastel dream again. I am sorry, kind of. But now I am starting to run low on these. LoL

The papers matches the colour choices I make at the moment. Kind of bright pastels and that's one of the reason to why I keep coming back to them all the time. And they are easy to reach. Still have not finished my office/craft room. Hope to get closer to it during the weekend. We might be as lucky as we only have one soccer practise and no game but who knows? Guess we find out tomorrow. Oh boy, side tracked again. Sorry!

I had no clue on how to decorate this card and to find what I wanted to use so I pretty much looked at my desk and found a bunch of stuff and "just" put them down on the card. The blingy things is from Joanna Sheen. Flowers are a mix from WOC and I am Roses. The charm is from Bildmålarna I think. The pretty circle die is bought from Moa Pyssel and the wooden heards in the flowers around Tilda is from my blogging friend Annelie.

Well this is all from me for today. See you in a few days again when I will be back with a new card for the AUD sentiment challenges.

It's a celebration!

Hi and good morning! Just want to let you know that it's time for a new challenge over at The Paper Shelter today. Our theme is set to "It's a celebration". We have our 200 challenge up, not counting our special bloghops and other special challenges. So cards that celebrates something is all good for this week: wedding, birthdays, retirement etc.

For my card this week I returned to an old favourite of mine, My racing Car. This little chap always make me smile and feel better. And even if my craftroom is well not ready so at least a little bit useful have I still used the NitWit/LOTV dps up and way pad. It's lovely "bright" pastels which went great with the colours of my card this time. Everything looks a bit yellow in this picture but it's bright turquise IRL. I have followed the sketch from Everbody Art Challenge with is really lovely and a very useful. I for sure will use it again.

I have used a net and some paper string to decorate the card and be one of the layers in the sketch. I have used a car charm to pick up the theme and a wooden arrow to point out the direction of the car's way. A few bright buttons finish off the whole thing. The sentiment just says "Happy Birthday" in Swedish.

My teamies has done a brilliant job with this challenge to celebrate our 200 challenge. You are in for a treat visiting the The Paper Shelter blog. I hope you will all come and join us for our celebration this week!

It's a stitch up!

Morning and hello! A tiny bit late today, but finally here. The cold is still taking my energy out of me, but now I am here. We have a new challenge for you over at Winter Wonderland today. This weeks theme is all about stitching, real or faux that's totally up to you. I had planned for some real stitching this time but run out of time, again. So faux it's once again.

Our sponsor this week is The Paper Shelter who's offering a gift voucher worth $15 to one lucky winner.  Thank you for the prize!

For my card I have used a fun, cute image called Santa Selfie. It's totally adorable in my mind and I don't think I had the time to use it before Christmas but now, finally! I have used some left over designer papers but I have no clue from where they are. I have also used up some of all the glitter card that is laying around from Panduro. That's the down part of buying cardstock in pads. Lots of card stock you're not to fond of but to cheep to throw away. LoL

For decoration I did some faux stitching and used a ribbon from TGR. If I had not covered it up you would see that it says Merry Christmas in Swedish. A few pearls are there two. On Rudolph's nose have I used some glossy accent and the fluffy stuff on Santas clothes is Flower Soft Winter version. The image is coloured with my Letraset Markers.

Well then, all left is for you to drop by the Winter Wonderland and add your fabby stitching  Christmas card and we drop by to give you some love. :)

Birthday sentiment with or without nr 5

Hello to you all. It's the B-teams turn to inspire you over at AUD sentiments birthday challenge. We're celebrating our 5th birthday this challenge. Hope you want to come and play with us. Use a birthdays sentiment and the number "5", or just a birthday sentiment. Nice and easy for us all.

We're having two sponsors this week. So two prizes up for grabs! WooHoo!

These two  great companies are pairing up with us to sponsor this challenge.  They are also each generously offering a prize for the winners of this challenge!!  If you see an image you like or if you want to shop around in their catalog of images, you can click on their name to go directly to their shop.  Thank you to you both!

For my card have I used one of the images from Doodle Pantry.com It's called Classic bug gascan set. I only used the bug for my card this time as I love the soft design to this car. It looks soft and cosy to me and if I would ever decide to get a driving license and buy myself a car, it would be one like this.

I used the paper pad swager from where I don't remember and to be honest I don't have the energy to go downstairs and look it up either. Too little energy, the cold I'm having is bugging me. Anyway, the colours in this pad is really nice and that's what drew me to it from the start. I kind of love coloring the carimages I use in these rusty tones. Or maybe dark golden if that sounds better? :) Anyway, the shades goes perfectly with my designer papers. I have kept the decorations simple by only using some paper cord and some light blue pearls. The cord from Rox stamps and the pearls from Bunny Zoes.

I hope you come and play with us over at AUD sentiments this week to help us celebrate or 5 year birthday and have a chance of winning one of the fabby prizes up for grabs.

Tag! You're it!

Good morning and hello to you all! Sitting here with a cold and tons of pain today. Oh well, have been waiting for it for quite a while now since the rest of the family has been down more or less too. Anyway, we have a new challenge up for you today over at Passion For Promarkers and this time we have the theme of

Tag! You're it!

That means that we want you to make a tag or use a tag on your creation. Nice and easy isn't it?

This weeks sponsor while I'm at it. Polkadoodles is giving away two on their images to one lucky winner.

And then we have my card. (So glad that the internet isn't messing with me today when I am so dizzy). The only one to blame for the messy card is me. Bad light and tired Marie. Anyway back to the card. The image is from Lili of the Valley and I coloured it with lots of different Leteraset Markers. The DP is from an old pad of Tatty Teddy papers. The mission to used up old stuff still stands. :) Flowers are from WOC and IAR. Ribbon is from Rox stamps. It's stunning with it's pretty edges. A charm from somewhere. Well it might seem strange to add a racket charm to this cake card, but it's not that strange when you know the story. The rest of the decorations are gemstones from TGR and pearls from Bunny Zoes. Die cut butterflies and some string with wire from Prima.

My mum asked me months ago for a card with two female badminton players on it as mum and her friend used to play every Monday in some kind of division for amateurs. So that what she wanted to have on the card, but I couldn't find any solution to that. Now when they are a tiny bit older they meet for coffee and cake instead and that was so much easier. Still I could not let go of the racket, needed to be there as a reminder for them.

Above is the tag with a little text on it. Just saying Irene 65 years. Nice and simple.

Well that would be all from me for today! I wish you all the best and hope that you will come and play with us over at PFP this week. We always look forward to see your wonderful creations.

Love n hugs

Birthdays with sentiment

Morning and hello! It's TPS week here on my blog. That means at least one posting and it's for the new challenge over at the Paper Shelter. Our theme of the week: Birthday cards with sentiments. Any birthday card will do, but it needs to be a fitting sentiment for a birthday. Nice and easy!

For my card have I used the lovely image called Vintage Car. It's great fun to colour it and I happen to adore images from that era even if this is a mix of fantasty and old times. I went for a grey combo once again together with some pink and green for the flowers. The flowers reminded me of rosehips roses that was every where when I lived on the tiny island called Rörö when I was a kid. When I moved into my first own house, what do I find in the back yard? Yepp! Rosehips roses. We only have one plant of them left now as we have dug them up, but one refuses to give in and comes back every time. So we let that one stand. I think it should be there to remind me of Rörö, at least that how it feels.

Well this started out as a male birthday card. Now I am not so sure as I have plenty of pink on it, but isn't that the new blue? LoL Anyway, I dug out some new left overs from my wedding kit from Authentic and a Prima pad with only numbers and letters on then in earth tone. Love are you both. Anyway as the flowers are pink and yellow I decided to go pink with my card stock. I matched it all up with some bright happy pearls to that and then well, in come more and more pink. LoL Some of the flowers are pink as well. I think I need to buy a spray bottle with black paint in it for my flowers and chases like this. LoL

For decoration have I also used a piece of a chain for a neckless and a clock charm. Well, I know that attached to this image is a speedometer, but I only had a clock and that has to work for my on this card. I have only glued the ends of the chains so the rest is free to move. Kind of cool at least. I have also raised the upper and lower panel so that they are low outwards from the card. The piece facing the card is raised up on foarmpads. I would probably have looked better if I have made my image a tiny bit smaller but this is what I got to day and I have to be happy about that. :) Two flower clusters in the same design and some letter stickers spelling the word "Gratulationer", kind of like congratulations in English. I am really proud of myself getting this together and up with the post. Never thought I would manage this today as my joints are really painful. And I had a dead line on another card I had finish today. Wonder what I do wrong as I never seems to be ahead anymore. Too many teams? Too little time? I go for the last one. Oh well, life is like this from time to time.

Well my friends, I hope that I will be able to get my photo up and running later on today. After work and before my work out. It's time to try starting it up again. And the worst part is that I fell absolutly nothing in the terms of joy for this project. This will be my medicine does the doctor say but it didn't work so good last time. I worked out way to much and got it wrong because of that. Since I have been saying to my self that work outs are boring. I should never do them again. Yet, here I am giving it another shot. I hope that my new instructor have some fun plans for me as I am in no mood for the same old boring stuff. Well, just have to wait and see won't I? Four o'clock I will be at the gym, getting tortured. That's how it should be for a couple of months. WooHoo???!???

Party Time Tuesday - Anything goes

Morning and hello! Welcome back to my little hide away. Can you belive that we already have April here? Totally nuts how fast this year is passing. And a new month means a new challenge over at Party Time Tuesday. As always we are going with the theme of Anything goes. Nice and easy, I know. But always fun to make whatever you want or some unusual stuff and have a challenge to add it to, right?

This month my card features an image from a LOTV art pad with flowers. As you didn't see that. LoL I have matched this image with some fabby Maja Design papers. I think it's from the Vintage Spring pad. It was a while since I made the card. I have used a spellbinder die for the curved border. Isn't it lovely? A Magnolia fence die and a swirl from some place I can't remember. I can't see enough off it to put a name on it. ;) I think I have gotten the yellow cherry blossoms from Annelie fairly long ago, then there is some tall flowers from Magnolia and the rest from WOC. I have also added some sparkle in the form off glitter glue to the flowers and the vase.

Sponsoring our Party this month is

So why don't you come and play with us and over at Party Time Tuesday this month. Don't forget to check our rules when entering our challenge.

Let it snow

Happy Easter to you all! After some, yet again stuggle with the internet I have finally manage to get it to work, at least for a little while with hubbys mobile internet connection from work. Not fast, but faster than the mail line we have. How strange! Let me just say that internet is not my friend at the moment.

Over at Winter Wonderland this week we have a new theme up for you all. This week our theme is "Let it Snow" and I kind of feel that you should be careful with what you wish for as the weather forecast predicts rain and snow tonight. How fun in April! I guess it's called April weather for a reason. ;)

For my card have I used a Lili of the Valley image with a cute little snowman. I adore snowmen, even in April. Such sweet looking creatures. For a change have I coloured with my distress markers. I have paired the image up with a Dove craft paper pad that I love the colours in. I have also used some glitter cardstock from Panduro in gold and white to make it (snow)sparkle a bit. And my only decorations are some golden pearls.

Our sponsor this week is the Hobby House. Who is kindly giving away a prize worth £10. It's selected by the Hobby House.

I hope you'll come and join us in our fun and easy challenge this week. I look forward to see what you all come up with for this challenge. And I look forward to get the internet working like it should again. I can't wait until the fibre connection is up and running in well seven months or so. Just a little patience needed.

Love n hugs

Anything goes + sentiment

Morning and hello to you all. Still struggling with my internet and photos. At least I can prepare the text for the post even if I can't get  the photo loading to work anywhere. Grr! Don't know what's wrong with this crap at the moment.... Edited! Woohoo! Got the images to load and the post ready. Finally!

Anyway, for starters we have a new theme up over at AUD sentiments and the theme is Anything goes + sentiment. Don't forget the sentiment. Always when you play with us put a sentiment on, otherwise no chance of winning the lovely prizes. This time we're sponsored by Lacy Sunshine. The prize is three digis of winners choice.

For my card have I used the image called Rory's what a great life. A really cute image, don't you think? You're probably bored of me using the paper pads from Lili of the Valley / NitWit collections by now, but here they are again. Up, up and away and Pastel dreams. How sad am I? Using the same over and over again. The truth is that these are right at hand and not tucked away as we're still working on my craft room/office. I think that's why I'm having such slow access to the internet as well. Wrong connection in wall, I read that somewhere.

A while back did Lacy Sunshine stamps sponsor our challenge as well over at AUD sentiments and I have used the same layout for my card except that I have used an oval die instead of a square for this card. My nieces birthday coming up and I always try to make something simular to them as they are twins. I want to ride that wave a bit longer even if you can see that they are different persons now at age 11, or soon to be.

I have used some flowers from my mixed box, some pearls from Bunny Zoe, letter stickers from Panduro. Coloured with Letraset Markers and prisma pencils. A little bug from a store that sadly isn't around any more and I think that the charm is from Bildmålarna which is not around anymore either.

Anyway, I hope to get yet another card up tomorrow. Wish me luck with that and I wish I had loaded the cards and taken the photos when I had finished them. I never learn, do I? :)

Love n hugs
Marie
