Weather

Morning and hello! A little late posting today. Splitting headache and really tired. The rest of the family have had colds, maybe mine is coming now? Or it's still the new meds playing games with me. Trying to get the best out of them, and most of all, the best sleep as I am sleeping really bad. Soon I will be a human again and not like a cat sleeping 20 hours per day in very short periods. LoL

My card is for our Passion for Promarker challenge this week and the theme is set to weather. So something weather related would be nice to see. And as usually it is Letraset markers that is going to be used for the colouring.

Then we have my card to look at. I have used an older Tilda from Magnolia. Had a period when I collected stamps with umbrellas and wellies on them. And well this is one of them. Don't think that I have used it before. Better late than never, right? She's coloured with my Triamarkers mostly.

The designer paper is from Authentic, some wedding collection all in black and white. The flowers and leafs on this one did I colour in the same red colours as I coloured Tilda. The foliage above Tilda is made with three different Magnolia dies. The green parts from the die club from last fall and the red flowers are from the new Vintage Circus kit. I love that flower. It looks smashing and matched the dp really well.

Our generous sponsor this week is LC Designs who are offering one lucky winner a prize of 4 digis of their choice.  There are so many gorgeous digis in their store you will be spoilt for choice.

Well, my friends this is all from me for today. I will go and rest my head for a while and then back to the craft room as we have a new challenge coming up tomorrow over at the Paper Shelter as well, and I am running behind there as well.

For A child

Morning and hello! Today is the birthday of my youngest, he is turning 8 today and that's why I am late writing this post. At least I had the card ready and done in time. :) The theme over at the Winter Wonderland this week is "for a child". So a Christmas card for a child is what we make this week. Here in Sweden all kids from when they are very you walk in Lucia processions in schools, day care and some visit the elders in their home. The girl who lead the procession is the one showing here in the Magnolia Tildan.

I have used a lot of dies for this card. I got the vintage box edition 2 the other day and the it was kind of a circus theme. So for example is the card frame made with a die from that kit, as well as the tickets and the little note papers and the flowers. The swirly thing is from Magnolias Christmas die kit and the snow flake is from Whimsy stamps, an old favourite. I have use quite a lot of old Magnolia dp's on this card as well. Some day it might even show in the paper stacks that I use some of it. The border die is also from the vintage kit by the way. There is also quite alot of glitter glue around the frame in different versions, and a little dash of red pearls as well. This week have I coloured with distress ink markers by the way.

Birthday boy

Morning and hello! A brand new day and even some sunshine around, at least when I write this. Hope you're all doing fine and have a good week so far. Today is the start of a brand new challenge over at the Paper Shelter and this week are we celebrating our "birthday boys".

For this theme have I used one of my old favourites called Happy times and it's actually three images in this set. Three fun and sweet boys having some summer fun. This is my favourite one, with the ice cream cone. Love the fun charming look of these images.

Coloring is done with my Letraset Markers and designer papers use are from SNAP collection brights. Lovely happy colours that make me smile. A border die is used and some pearls for decoration. "Congrats" in swedish with letter stickers from Panduro. There is also some space below the image where I can put the name of the birthday boy, when I know who it is. :)

As always we have a gift voucher up worth $30 when you play with the Paper Shelter brand. Playing with another brand gives you the chance of winning 3 digis of your choice.

I am sure you have some boys around you that need a birthday card so do take the chance and come and play with us. Remember that you can play with us up to three times if one of your creations have a TPS image on it. Otherwise, two times.

A child's birthday

Morning and hello! For once in time, this time blogging my dt-card for Passion for Promarkers. This weeks theme is set by Eileen and we want to see cards for a child. It should be nice and easy for everyone. Here the kid's cousins have started to get their own families and there is pleny of cousins in the close family as well so this will come in handy.

I have used a quite old Magnolia stamp that I don't have the name of anymore. Coloured of course with my Letraset Markers which you have to use if you want to play with us over at PFP. Of course you can use the Aqua markers as well.

This time I decided to make a gate fold card, it might be the first time actually after all those years of card making. Well, there is a first for everything. This is for a girl soon turning one, a kid of the boys' cousins. The designer paper is from Maja design. Flowers from my stash, mostly WOC I would say. A butterfly made with a joy die, some gemstones that I got for Christmas. Silver corners that I have covered in white gesso to make them look a little softer. The sentiment banner is from the bottom of the dp, and are used to open the card as well.

Sponsoring our challenge this week is Aurora Wings. The prize is a gift voucher worth $15. How nice isn't that for all you out there? Don't forget, you have to be in it to win it! :)

Well then, I try to keep it short and sweet for yet some time even if I feel a little better at the moment. Still bad shakes from time to time when I use my arms, but for the first time in a very long time it feels like there is some hope left.

Must use a charm

Good afternoon! Late again, really sorry about that Winter Wonderland! Tummy flu struck earlier in the week and the whole family went down. Glad that part is over and done with by now. Yesterday it was the internet access that went down when I was working on some other stuff. Just one of those weeks.

So to something more fun. The challenge over at the Winter Wonderland is "Must use a charm" and that's a nice and easy theme isn't it? At this point you need to make a Christmas card to be able to play along with us.

For my card have I used Michele R Design called A traditional Christmas. I have used the paper pack and one of the elements. I just cut the image out with a spellbinder die to leave the original frame as it didn't go with the design. I have changed the colour of the charm by using some inka gold on it to match up with the golden web ribbon and the golden elements in the paper pack. A cluster of gold pearls, a bow and a sentiment added with some letter stickers from Panduro and that's it. The sketch used is from Sugar Pea Design.

Sponsoring us this week is following companies

Michele Roos Designs are giving a €10.00 (euros) voucher to the lucky winner

and Live and Love Crafts have a £10 voucher to spend in their fabulous store.

On top of it all we have a DT-call going on over at the Winter Wonderland. There is still a few days to apply to this nice and lovely team. Wouldn't it be great to be done with all of your Christmas creations before Christmas this year? Do have a look on the post here.

Ok, some rest now before I try to get to grip with the rest of the laundry. It has kind of piled up during all the sick time we have had here for quite a bit now. Have also started to use my new meds and it still makes me feel quite sick, but happier. :)

Bingo

Good afternoon! Running a bit late with my post today. Feeling a bit sick today again as I have increased the amount of pills I take. I am soon where I should be when it comes to that, and then it should settle in a month or so.

Our theme over at the Paper Shelter this week is a bingo board looking like this

Well, I had made a card yesterday with a partial image from TPS and here comes yet another one. I manage to colour those with out shaking and it feels great. This one is also a partial image from TPS called Just roll with it. The cards are simular in design and I have a good reason for that. My twin nieces birthdays is coming up.

I have used pink and white flowers, a heart charm, white ribbon, pink and cream lace. Some pearl string and a few gemstones. I have left some place above the image to place a sentiment when ready. I have not decided which twin will get which card. Some glossy accent on the glasses. It shines a bit strange on the photo.

As always we have a gift voucher up worth $30 when you play with the Paper Shelter brand. Playing with another brand gives you the chance of winning 3 digis of your choice.

Ok then, now off to school hopefully without fainting to have the "term planning talk" for the youngest.

Girls only

Morning and hello! I have done it again! I managed to make a card for my design team Passion for Promarkers. So happy about that. Still don't feel very well but have managed to keep the shakes away by plenty of rest and even more breaks. LoL

The theme is "Girls only", so girly stuff with girly theme. I have used an TPS image, well part of it. It is called Charmingly Hippie. As I cut her in half she looks more like a rocker to me. I have used papers called enternaly or something like that by Authentiqe. A bunch of spellbinder dies, some black lace and flowers from mixed suppliers. The lady bugs are  ROX stamps and I gave them and the glasses a tiny dip in glossy accent. A pearl string from ROX stamps in cream/white around the base and I feel pretty happy to have gotten everything in place. :)

Our generous sponsor this week is Sassy Studio Designs who are offering one lucky winner a $20.00 voucher to spend in their online store.  There are so many gorgeous digis in their store you will be spoilt for choice.
Sassy Studio Designs

Ok, I keep holding it sweet and short as the pain is still lurking around and this is not the best I can do for them. If you only knew how many letters I have laying around waiting for replies, and yes, real deal snail mail. LoL I love to write my letters but now are they more like note cards. :( So one day at the time and I will be on the go again.

Love n hugs
Marie
