Blooming days

Morning and hello, even if it is a bit late to call it morning. Have another sick kid at home today and then my day planing goes totally up the walls. With W being sick, and myself having great trouble with my sleep, I am totally lost in space at the moment. I got half way done with my card yesterday, but have now managed to finish it which feels great. Still waiting for the glitter glue to dry...

I have used the image called Heavenly Christmas Carol. For some reason I always colour her in blue each time I use her. It something about that image that screams blue, colour me blue! :) I dugg out some dp's from Maja design again. I think I have mixed one with winter papers in it with one summer or spring dp's. But I don't know from which pad I got them. They are in a total mess in my shelfs...

I have used an old Marianne Die for the scrolls that I have cut down a bit and I found a bunch of flat flowers in my stash as well. They came in good use today as I was not in the mood for roses today. Some pearls and a few pearl brads is also used for the card.

As always we have a gift voucher up that is worth $30 if you play with our TPS images and there is as well 3 digis up for grabs if you play along with another brand.

I hope to see you play around with us this week, and I am sure you will have plenty of ideas of how to get some blooming flowers in to your creation. It's a nice a lovely theme. Shouldn't caus you any trouble to play along with our challenge.

Take care and enjoy some crafting time!

Another teachers greeting

Morning and hello! I have yet another thank you card / happy summer card to show you from when the school ended in June. Yes I know but it was many teachers. Some that we don't have around our kids anymore and some that is still around.

As I was in pretty bad shape when I made them I have done none colouring and used toppers from Maja design instead. I love the looks of these toppers and I love the lovely colour tones to their dp's. Nice and rich at the same time as they are soft. Just lovely!

As I was really short on time when taking photos of the cards, the glitter glue hadn't dried so it looks a lot more yellow that it really was. Lots of flowers and some lace is also used to decorate the card. Inside did we write a personal greeting to each and everyone of the teachers.

Well thanks for looking!

I see you around soon again.

Take care and enjoy some crafting time!

Love n hugs

Sketch or tic-tac-toe

Morning and hello! Welcome back to my little corner of the blogging world. Today is the new challenge over at Winter Wonderland and this time we have two fun themes that you can follow; either one or both like I have.

Here comes the tic tac toe and the sketch

Sponsoring our challenge this week is

Crafty Ribbons - £10 Voucher

Beccy's Place

Beccy's Place -  3 Digi's for the winner

My card then. I bought a set with cute little lawn fawn penguins and matching dies to that. Such smashing fun to use all together. I am not used to create scenery but I am hoping to learn making more of them. And they are perfect for me when my hands gives me trouble. Large enough to give me a chance to colour them in.

I took some old dp's with lots of glitter and sparkle on them and used as both back ground and as dp's in my design. I don't know who have made them, they are really old and no fun to take pictures of. It's supposed to be snowflakes on the dark blue one...

I have used the fabby tic-tac-toe grind follow the diagonal from upper left: snowflakes, sparkle/shine and die cuts /punches. And I followed the sketch as well, just tilted it a bit. The die cuts are from Spellbinders (squares), Gummiapan (stitched circles and stiched wavy borders) and lawn fawn the rest of them. The lace is from Prima I think, and the gem stones are from my stash.

I hope you take some time to take part in our challenge and you actually have two weeks to make your creation as we are changing to two weeks challenges. All to make it easier to get a card done in time and may be even special for this challenge. Really good when you have a lovely sketch like this to follow and on top of that a great grind that matches christmas perfectly! I hope to see you around the winter Wonderland this period.

Take care and enjoy some crafting time!

CAS

Morning and hello! Hope you're doing well? Here I have one sick kid again, but at least I feel ok. LoL Just really tired.

It is time for a new fun challenge over at Passion for Promarkers today. And today are we going for the theme of CAS, that is clean and simple. It should be easy, but... for me a real challenge.

I have used a poppy image that I love but never remember where it is from. Coloured with a mix of letraset markers. The text sentiment is from Inkido I think and says Thanks in Swedish. I have used some dark red card stock and some white as well to give a little details. Some twine and a few enamel dots as well. I couldn't help myself. Something was missing and I don't know what so this is how it ended up this time.

Sponsoring our challenge this week is Bugaboo with a gift voucher worth $21. How nice isn't that?
Remember to use Letraset markers of any kind when you enter our challenges.

Ok, sweet and short once again. I am householding my energy this week as I am pretty much alone with the kids again as it tons of work for my partner at this time.

Take care and enjoy some crafting time!

Add a number

Morning and hello! Hope you're having a good week so far. Here it's busy days with lots of soccer practise and homework. Can't wait until the days gets a bit darker and things calm down a bit. I look forward to that.

Today is the start of a new challenge over at the Paper Shelter and our theme is "Add a number". It could be Dec'25, Oct 31st, or a birthday number. It's up to you, as long as you add a number somewhere on your creation.

I have for my round card used pizza chef and fussy cut him and his pizza. Some round die cuts from Gummiapan and Sizzix is the base for my card. Kind of like a pizza plate... A foam number from unknown brand in white with glitter is used and a congrats die from Moa Pyssel as well. A few enamel dots is also giving some interest to the creation. I have coloured with my letraset markers. Dp's are by the way from Magnolia.

As always when you play with a TPS image you have the chance of winning a gift voucher worth $30. Playing with another brand gives you the chance of winning 3 digis from the TPS store of your choice.

Short and sweet today. I will spend some time cross stitching today as I am getting stiff in my hands and that usually helps a bit, and then I think I switch to crocheting again as that is a bit more fun, but also more painful.

Take care and enjoy some crafting time!

Love n hugs

Beautiful Butterflies

Morning and hello! Hope you have had a good time since last time. Here has the colds started after the kids have gone back to school again. But the wonderful fall weather is also here with clear cold air and lots of sun. Just love it.

Today is the beginning of a new challenge over at Passion for Promarkers. The theme is set to "Beautiful Butterflie". That means that we want to see some of those lovely creatures on your creation, either as a image or as details on your card.

Sponsoring us this week is... will be added later on....

For my card this week have I used a TPS image once again. Of course coloured with my letraset markers, mainly in warm grey. Totally adore colouring in grey, my fave at the moment. If I had a choice and only colour pick on colour group of my markers, it would be the grey ones. :)

The dps are from Authentique wedding collection once again. I have used only one little piece this time as the design of this paper is just smashing. A bunch of flowers and butterflies are added, both punched but mainly a big silver charm is there in the design. I have also used tiny little pearls as decorations for the dress and earings. Love how that came out.

Well this is it for today. I hope you have a smashing week with lots of sunshine!

Love n hugs

Marie
