Fussy and fancy - Finally

Big, big apologizes to my teamies over at Winter Wonderland. Nothing has gone as planed this week. I have been writing an exam that I should have done next week and all illnesses before that. I ended up behind with some stuff, but before with my exam. :)

Well, to get my card done and not more late than I had to, I have used a precoloured image from Lili of the Valley and it's from one of their artsy pads. I have used designer papers from Pion design and has once again manage to use up some scraps with makes me happy. A little more space in the shelfs, just a little but still... Our theme over at the Winter Wonderland is Fussy and Fancy and for a while now you dont even have to make Christmas cards to join us.

I have made a flower cluster as I love my flowers but the cards gets bulky. However this is a part of an order I got a while back and for once there was something good with higher cost of sending mail. they increased the weight for the same stamp as well. 50 grams and now most of my cards can be sent with one stamp again. WooHoo! The flowers are from different manufactures like Magnolia, I am Roses and WOC. Some dies are used as well: spellbinders, joy and Joanna Sheen. A MS punch and tons of glitter too.

This sponsor part is from our challenge blog:

"This is the start of the few months of the year where you don't have to make a Christmas project to enter our challenge although you can make it a Christmas project if you want to.

As this is our last challenge for 2014 it will last for 2 weeks and we have four great prizes on offer!  These are our great sponsors:

£10 Voucher from the The Hobby House

£10 Voucher from Wild Orchid

£10 Voucher for Crafter's Companion

3 Digi's from Crafty Sentiments Designs"

Well, sweet and short. Soccer practise soon and then off to IKEA to buy a few things. Then we're going iceskating as the kids did a brilliant job cleaning up their play room. Rewards is a good thing sometimes, then we have cookie baking on the agenda. We'll see how this goes. Luckly there is still a few days before Christmas Eve is here. Just need to get started on things and then we're on.

Take care everyone,

Love n hugs

Anything goes

Good morning and welcome to the last challenge of the year from the TPS team. We have a nice and easy challenge going for you this Holiday break of ours. The challenge starting today will last all way into January next year. The A-team will start the team off at January 7th. But until then you have about three weeks or so to join our "Anything goes" challenge. You can enter up to three times and one of your creations need to have a TPS product on them. Either image or designer papers.

http://www.thepapershelter.com/

As always we have a gift voucher worth $30 up for grabs if you play with any TPS product. Playing with another brand gives you the chance of winning three (3) digis of your choice. Come on now crafters we know that you love these images and we would really like to see a few more of the Paper Shelter images.

Before I go on with this post I want to tell you who has won my "commenting" image. The lucky winner is Lucy Patric for her really sweet and personal comment. Thank you! Hope to see you play with us during the coming year as well. For more info, check out the TPS blog on how to claim your image.

Do pop on over to the Paper Shelter blog and have a look at what my teamies has been up to. All designers is joining in for this challenge as well. Just to give you plenty of inspiration for the long break!

Many of my kids friends has their birthdays in the fall, so this is a card I made a while ago. Knowing that time is really limited during this time of the year, I made sure to make cards that I could pop into my dt-assignments. This is an image I really love and it's called My racing car. I have coloured with my Letraset Markers once again. They are so easy and fun to use but something has happend to the quality of them. Don't last as long as they used to, and sometimes way to much ink in them. Really dripping from the nib... What's going on?

Ok, back to the card...I wanted to use some warmer colours this time and went pretty much with the same colours as Veronica did when she coloured the image on her computer. Well, at least I took inspiration from there and from the cool designer papers I have used for the card. The checker dp is from Magnolia and I have bought tons of it. Always good on boys cards, then there is a paper pad called Hop Scotch from K and Company that I used for the more colourful parts of the card. I got some funky shadowing on the image as well as I have used 3-D foam dots to raise the image up a bit.

The card was made for a friend of Philip from the soccer team. They are in the same school now as well but not the same class. I normally make soccer cards for the soccer players but this time I was in no mood for it. Can it have something to do with the fact that it was pooring down rain when I made the card? As always when it comes to cards for little boys I don't use much decorations. This time I settle for some stars and card candy. Also a sentiment is used for the card. I do love how all the colours came together in this card. Really lovely!

I hope that you will join us and I look forward to seeing you all in the New Year again!

Merry Christmas everyone!

Love n hugs

Just a little more of that Christmas thing

Hello and good evening! I am normally writing my post in the morning but I do it back wards this time. I have a sugar nellie card to show today and since I will be sending it away really soon I thought I blog it before it find a new owner.

It's a DT call over at the sugar bowl, may be I should add my card there as it's one of my favorite stamp companies. I started off with their images when I began to blog my cards 5 years ago. Well, maybe I will, may be I won't take part. Have not decided yet...

But I can at least talk about my card, right? I have had this image coloured for a while now and it's done with distress inks and markers for a change. I normally go with my Letraset gang. And even if I have tons of Christmas papers to use for my cards I was in the mood for something else. So a big jump right into my box of left over cardstock. You know the bits and bobs that get left behind but now thrown away. That's what my card is made of this time. I used a few embossing plates to make the whole thing a bit more interesting.

Sorry about the photo, it's really dark and I don't have those fancy cameras or light to take a good picture. This had to do. :)

I have used a Marianne die for the "design circle" and the other stitched one is from MFT dies I think. Love that one too. The flowers is made with the die that came with the fancy circle and another Marianne design die. I have only added a few pearls in the middle of the flowers and ribbon for decoration. I a have also used a die from ROX stamps that says Merry Christmas in Swedish and that finish my card off.

Ok, better get to bed now as it's quite late and I have school tomorrow as well. Slowly getting closer to the end. WooHoo! Just a month and a half left now. Got expanded with one month but I can live with that.

Anyway, love n hugs
Marie

Cards with gifts or gifts

Good morning to you all! It's time for a new challenge over at the Winter Wonderland and today we have the theme of gifts/presents. It can be something you made or a card with gifts on it. Nice and fun this close to the BIG day.

I took the chance to make a gift as I knew I had to make these little wellies when I saw the pattern and since I got a new little niece in October... I am sorry, but at the moment I can't remember from where I bought the pattern. As soon as I find it on my computer, I'll tell you where you can get yours. Don't you feel the urge to get a crochet needle and yarn out? LoL

I spent the weekend making these, got an inflammation in my shoulder, again. But it's so worth it. They are cute and I hope that she can use them. I made the size 3 - 6 months. Well, otherwise I have to make her another pair don't?

For once I even managed to get a fairly good photo of my project. I was planing to make a gift box for the shoes and add here as well, but I think I leave it like this.

This week we are sponsored by Whiff of Joy and the prize is a Stamp of the Winner's choice. That's one great prize isn't it?

I leave you all with this and hope you come and play with us over at the Winter Wonderland. I am sure you have some fabby looking presents waiting for your special family and friends.

Love n hugs

Christmas bingo

Hi there! It's time again for a new Christmas challenge and guess what? The theme is the same as over at Passion for Promarkers this time. We're playing BINGO!

This is the bingo board that we are using over at AUD sentiments. Remember that you have to use a sentiment on your creation as well. Otherwise, no prize to be won, ok?

I have made yet another card with Rudolph, or at least a rain deer on it. It's many of those this year! This version comes from our sponsor of the week and it's A DAY FOR DAISIES and my image is called Christmas bulbs. You find it here. It's kind of funky and Scandinavian at the same time. I like this one. It's a bit classy and fun at the same time. LoL

The image is coloured with my letraset markers, a gele pen and glitter glue. Nuts to go on the small bulbs with stickles but I couldn't help myself. You see, I have picked the right column with ribbon, bling and charms/trinkets. And to me glitter is bling as well, not only gemstones. But I have gemstones as well on my creation just to be safe with the bling part. LoL

I have used the paper pad Krafty Christmas once again. There is some lovely colours in this one. Never get bored of them. I have used plenty of layers on this card as you see. I like how they bring life to eachother. You hardly see my ribbon, but it's under the charms. The card looked unbalanced with only one charm, so two there is. I have also used a MFT die (I think) for the border and have layered that one as well. In the corners gem stones in red and well, on the nose as well. It's funny, I didn't use any flash taking this photo and even being out in the shadows taking the picture, the nose was shining. I took it as a sign... LoL As said I was nutsy enough to colour the bulbs with stickles in red and picked fence by T.H. They look a bit messy but kind of cool. I like how they turned out.

My sentiment is from Bildmålarna, Sweden, Sadly they have decided to close their doors. I will be missing them alot. I love the images and I love how fast and good their services has been. You will be grately missed and I hope you'll come back one day. In the mean time I have to play with the stamps I've got and I have added a few more to my collection the last week. There was some that I really wanted to have, needed to have...

Well, this is all from me for today. I need to rest my shoulder, a "lovely" inflammation is on there once again. So tired of that shoulder. Maybe they have them on sale after Christmas? LoL Tomorrow however I will be back again with a new project for Winter Wonderland. Stay tuned for that one. It's a bit different for me...

Mega Christmas Bingo Challenge

Morning and welcome to my final post for the Passion for Promarkers, well for this year that is! We have a MEGA challenge up for you and it lasts for a month and the theme? Well, it's time to play BINGO! How fun is that? Really this is one of the best ways to make cards. You actually have to think a bit of what you're adding to your creation.

I can't even think about how many Christmas stamps I've got both in rubber and digital ones. It's embarrassing. I always buy them with the great feeling of "WoW, you are going to make a great christmas card". But when it I feel lost and lack inspiration there is two or three I go back to and this is my favourite one. It's from the Paper Shelter and it's called "Are U ready my friend?" Isn't it a darling and fun one? It's the perfect image and I will keep using it until I stop making cards that's for sure.

Of course it's coloured with my Letraset Markers and this time some white gelly pen as well. Rudolph needs his spots you know. I have used the paper pad "tis the season" from Trimcraft/Dove craft once again and yet again went from the Papertake Weekly Sketch library. The buttons are also from Dove Craft by the way, all for of them is the matching pieces to the paper pad.

Hmm, maybe I should tell you that I have used the left column of the bingo board with the ribbon, die cut and buttons. And as always when I started this card, this is not what I have planed from the beginning. I have been in heavy pain the last week and is on really heavy meds at the moment so I had to make it more simple than I had planned to. However, I like my clean looking cards and this didn't turn out too bad. LoL The ribbon is by the way the sentiment running along the card. Swedish for "Merry Christmas"... The dies are made with a snow flake die from Magnolia Sweden, the winter kit, and the border die I can't remember who has made it. Sorry!

Well, anyway, this is a part of what Denise has to say on our challenge blog. I thought you might be interested in seeing what prizes we have up for you this really long on going challenge. The bingo board can be good to have as well. It's a nice and easy one.

"Our theme for the Mega Christmas challenge is “bingo”.  You are welcome to make Christmas cards but as the challenge will still be running after the ‘BIG’ day you can of course make any type of creation as long as you use the bingo board.  As time is precious for our DT at this time of year we are limiting the number of entries you can make to just 3 for this month long challenge.  Please remember to be eligible for our prizes you must use your promarkers, flex markers, tria markers, metallic or aqua markers.
Here is the bingo board you must use for your creations (you can use any line horizontal, vertical or diagonal).  Please tell us which line you have used in your post:

Bloghop time!

Banner for the Blog Hop

We are celebrating our 4th birthday the coming two weeks over at the Paper Shelter. So please come and join us for some great prizes and some smashing inspiration on how to work with these wonderful images! It has been four years of joy being on this team. I've been here since the start with Shirley and we're still here both of us.

So if you are arriving from Vannessas blog you're right on track. This is the final stop until you swing back to the challenge blog. Well done! I know we're many on the team, but I hope you have enjoyed your time with each and every one of us.

This time you have the pleasure of seeing creations from both our parts of the team. As you will see both parts of the team for our following challenge as well. Please to leave a comment on my creation as it's your ticket to win a digi from the TPS store. The comment I like best will be the winner of this prize.

This is the order of the blog hop and your final destination is back on TPS blog where we have our normal challenge as well as a winner of a digi stamp for one winner. The theme of the challenge is "Celebrations!"

Marie
The Paper Shelter

I have a card to show as well. I have used one of the new cute images called cosy winter Wishes. I couldn't decide what kind of card I was going to make, how typical is that when you can do pretty much what ever you want to? So I used an image that you can use both for Christmas and for any reason you like to. I made this into a winter birthday card.

I have coloured with my normal Letraset markers and paired the image up with a Maja design pad called Vintage Frost Basics. Nice lovely colours that I used in my image as well. I have used tons of dies on this card; from Magnolia and from Joy! I used a heart stamped from Magnolia as well, I saw it used that way somewhere and thought it looked nice. And I needed something pink there to balance the card. The sign on the fence idea I got from the Christmas card I got from Lena here on the TPS team, Got an amazing Christmas card from her last year with this fabby idea. However my fence look a bit crocked, but it's bent a bit and then it's a bit down to the base layer. It's all in the camera lins it happens. LOL

I have used a charm, some bells, a few pink pearl swirls from Prima and tons of stickles in the colour of picked fence. Flowers are from WOC and from I am Roses. A piece of  corrugated cardboard is also used on the card.

Well, both me and Philip is unwell again so I finsh this post here. I hope that you will join us over at the Paper Shelter this time for our celebrations and you will find all the info you need about the blog hop over there as well.

Punches and dies

Morning and welcome to my Friday post. It's time for a new challenge over at Winter Wonderland and this time our theme is "Punches and dies". We want you to use both punches and dies, at least one of each.

Marianne Design

Kenny K (with a prize of 3 digis)

Sponsoring this challenge is Marianne Design with a mystery prize and Kenny K sponsor with a prize of 3 digis and just like a few of my teamies we have use this sweet image. It's called City Star. It's coloured with my Letraset Markers and the designer papers are a mix from my scrapbox. I think there is a DCWV and a then maybe Dovecraft or something like that.

I have used the old but ever so classy border punch from Fiskars and a Woodware punch that makes mini snow flakes. The stars are cut with a die from Memory Box. You know the one which you can find in other sweet designs like the hearts for example. To finish the card off have I also used a few pearls and some gemstones as well. I didn't want the card to become to heavy, I neee a few cards that doesn't cost me a fortune to send. LoL

Well, the weather is really grey this week so my photos is a bit dark, I am sorry about that but at least I don't think that they are blurry this week. LoL Well, I for one can't wait for the weekend to come. It's time to put all the Christmas decorations up and get some nice lights around the house again. The bad part of all this is that we need to clean our totally messy house and it will take a lot of time. In the middle of that we need to get a pressie for my SIL and find time for some soccer practise.

Well, then first of all last day of school this week and the weekend is here. And I start this day off by finish my sesions with my psychologist. He has really been great, and now I already start to wonder how I will manage my strange phobias and problems without him. Well, I think I need to get my brother to help out as they are pretty much the same kind of person with the same interest. Kind of surreal experience the first times. Now I kind of have a forth brother. LoL However I will feel a bit sad that this comes to an end, maybe I can find something more that I need to deal with? ;)

Sentiment for any December Holyday

Morning everyone! I am back with a few new christmas cards. How great isn't that? Well, I start to think that I actually have the ones I need now, but there can never be too many can it. You always forgot someone, even if you don't think so. LoL

We are in our second week of the last challenge in November over at AUD sentiments. Our theme is "Sentiment for any December holiday". Shouldn't be any problem, right?

Well, I go straight to my card, well cards. I have done two of them with the same image from Stamp Art Design by Kathryne and it's called Frosty Friends. Just click the name and you'll find it there. As I do most of my colouring infront of the TV this was a perfect image. Not to advanced and still it looks stunning. I just felt that I needed to try out a few colour combos and after I did that. I decided to go with two cards instead of one. I have used the same design for my cards. It's a sketch from Sugar pie designs. I love their brilliant sketches as they with their clean and simple looks challenge me each time and the dt does a fantastic job each time. The only thing I regret is that I didn't layer up more on card stock with all the layers. It would have been the great finishing touch, but it can be perfect always, can it? LoL

As always I have coloured with Letraset Markers and then fussy cut both images. I went classic with one image and pink and petrol with the other. Love them both. On my modern Snowy I didn't use any decorations at all. I only embossed by sentiment in black and left it like that. It will be a good card to sent to one of my pen friends over seas this year.

On my other card I used a few pearls and a lable to decorate my card. Nothing much but still the card became totally different. Both sentiments on the cards says "God Jul" which is Merry Christmas in English.

Well then, sponsors then... This week we have two of them and it's of course Stamp Art Design by Kathryne and Delicious Doodles. To find out what the exact prizes are, please pop on over to our challenge blog. You find it here

Well, my friends. This is all for today. I see you back here tomorrow when it's time for my last post of the week.

Metal somewhere

Good morning and hello! I am back and still coughing. But I am here and at it again. In my family, November is a busy birthday month with lots of parties to attend. And then it all goes on until December is over. It's nice with a social life but also nice with some free time during the weekends from time to time. LoL

Anyway, this weeks theme over at the Paper Shelter is set by me and I have picked "Metal somewhere somehow. In other words we want to see some metal on your creation. Nice and easy, and important is that you tell us what your metal is because sometimes it can be hard to spot it.

This week I needed a whole bunch of soccer cards as there has been a birthday bash for three 8 year old soccer players and add to that a 5 year old soccer player. So here comes the card for the youngerst player, one of my nephews. As we were sick we couldn't go to his birthday party but we sent our gift and card with my parents. Hope he liked it.

I have used the soccer image Soccer star for this card. I love this image and the kids who gets card with it love it too. It's a brilliant image that I have coloured with Letraset Markers and a white sakura pen. The designer papers are from YouDo and I have used a bunch of metal brads on this card. The small soccer ball is a brad and so are the stars in the right hand corner. I have made the big back ground soccer ball with a patchwork die from Joanna Sheen. Took me a while to make three balls like that, and the others was even bigger so lots of time spent with my Big Shot. A foam sticker with the birthday number 5 and the red and white soccer suit that is use in the team he plays. Well, I had to mix it up a little to give the whole thing a little more life but at least the colours are right.

http://www.thepapershelter.com/

As always we have a gift voucher worth $30 up for grabs if you play with any TPS product. Playing with another brand gives you the chance of winning three (3) digis of your choice. Come on now crafters we know that you love these images and we would love to see you use them on your creations.

And with all this said, why do I always write too much? I will get better at this, promise. LoL Now time to deal with the joy of ironing my Christmas curtains. Tomorrow will the window cleaner be here again.

Blooming Marvellous

Morning everyone! Hope your are all well and enjoying your week so far. I am still recovering from a really heavy cold that struck almost two weeks ago. Maybe I should go to the doctor? Well, I wait a day or two more then we'll see. I think the astma has gotten a bit of a beat and that's why the breathing is still a bit heavy on me. Oh well! I could be worse, I could be like last week. LoL

Well my friends, we have a new challenge up for you over at Passion for Promarkers. This weeks theme is "Blooming Marvellous". Just add som flowers to your creation and you are good to go. I think we'll have a busy week this one...

However, even if the theme is flowers I was in the mood for some Christmas card and winter theme, so I ended up with this creation. I have once again use the limited edition markers from Letraset, the new set for winter and fall. That's why my reds are a bit lighter than I usually colour my red stuff with, as I like it to be darker. But I need to step out of my comfort zone and try some new stuff as well.

I used an old image from Magnolia, Sweden and I really love the collection of snow men that came out a few years ago. I don't think I ever have coloured it in red so this is the first for that. I combinded it all with some wonderful designer papers from Bildmålarna Sweden. I don't remember the name of it, sorry. But it is this years edition from them. Love the rich colours they use.

I also bought the wonderful die Slender firs from my teamies shop Moa Pyssel and used that for the first time. I have wanted to buy this die for some time now and finally when I saw that Lotta had it in her store, I went for it. I will use it a lot as I love my trees. :) I also fond a little fence in my decoration box that keeps growing... How does that happen? I put some picket fence glitter on it and a few miniroses from WOC and then added a snowflake charm to go with it all.

The flower cluster is mostly made of flowers from WOC but the red and white flowers are from I am Roses as they have some wonderful prizes on big packs of flowers. They will probably last me a life time. LoL I fond some pearly thing in silver and used it to match up the silver charm. Made a doily with a die, that I now don't have the name in my head for. Well, that sums it all up I think... Well, glitter is everywhere; on the image, on the flowers, on the fence etc.

Sponsoring this weeks challenge is Polka Doodles and that is one lucky winner who will receive a digi to play with. Isn't that a great prize?

Anyway, sorry for the really long post today. I try to keep it down, but today was not such day. :) I hope you come and join us for our adventure over at Passion for Promarkers this week. I can't wait to see what you will inspire us all with!

Love n hugs

Kind of CAS

Hello! Hope you're having a great weekend so far and are getting some crafting done. I have a few hours to myself at the moment and it feels really good. I have been home from school for one and a half week with first a sick kid, then I got sick, then the next kid and the first one got sick again. And to finish it all off my partner and I got sick again too. I am still feeling sick and my head is hurting and I cough like the rest of the gang... Hopefully this was the big one for this winter.

I feel I needed to be alone for a while even if it wasn't that popular by my boys. Willy is celebrating his birthday with friends in the bowling alley. We got together a few of the parents and let the boys have their party together. A win win situation as it gets cheeper for all and we save a few days where we don't have to plan for going to parties. And we don't have do prepare anything. Jippi!

I also just realized that Christmas and Advent will be here soon. Next Sunday is first of Advent. I thought there was one more week before that, but no. It's here now. What happend with November? In the coming week I'll have the window cleaner here. Yes, I know doesn't it sound flashy? We have this luxury a few times each year and it's because I have a friend who owns a company that clean windows and do house cleanings and stuff like that. It's wonderful not having to think about the windows at least. Mats, my partner does so much here anyway. I can't do those heavy stuff, I can't even "drive" the vaccum cleaner without ending up in pain.

BUT this isn't why you are here, listening to my ramblings, is it? Well, thought so. LoL Well, over at the Paper Shelter the other week we had the theme of Snowflakes and I had a card made. Then Vero came up with the cutest little snow men image I've seen and I wanted to make a card with that image. So the card I am showing now got replaced by that one. You can see the snowmen card here. The photo is scary as it turned out very bright. The one shown here isn't that much better. LoL

I love this wonderful image from last year and I made a simular card with the same image then. But I like how it turns out. The image is perfect for this kind of simpler designed cards. I have matted it on a glittery cardstock but it doesn't show and I have used a whole bunch of punched snow flakes and added a gemstone to the center of each one of them. A red ribbon with the text "God Jul" (merry Christmas) on it, finish this little creation off. Even if there is one or too many snowflakes here and the photo is bad I love this card, and I will probably make a new one almost like this one the coming year. LoL

Thanks for looking and enjoy the rest of your weekend. If we don'e see eachother sooner than later, at least I will be back on Tuesday with a new post for Passion for Promarkers. Until then...

Love n hugs
Marie

Hello and welcome back to my crafting corner again. The Christmas spirit is high and I have bought my first Chrismas decorations for this year. Three very cute little Christmas figures with led lamps in them. I would never have bought them if I had seen that they change colour all the time, but my boys love them and I find a nice place to put them, where I don't see them that often. LoL

And why am I talking about Christmas decorations then? Well, that is our theme this week over at Winter Wonderland. Christmas decorations... well, to be honest I was not sure if I should make a card with Christmas decorations or to make a decoration to use. I went for the last one as I always make something for my boys teachers for Christmas I thought this was a great start.

To decorate the matchbox I have used some designer papers that I had left over from a card project earlier this fall. They are from the latest collection from Maja Design. I kept it simple and left the short sides undecorated as you ligth your matches there. I used a few spellbinder dies to make a back drop for my "God Jul" sentiment (merry Christmas) and put a few matching roses on there as well. The red card stock looks really bright but that has to be me who has done something, the light maybe as it isn't this bright IRL. I also have used some red stickles around the edges and on the letters. And on the roses of course...

Then comes the even simpler candlelight decorations. I just formed a ring with some flowerwire and then twisted the roses around the ring. And yes I know paper and candles doesn't match that well. That's why I have ordered some electrical onces that hasn't arrived jet but are the same size. If not, I just untwist the ends and make them a little bigger. Nice and easy. And it looks quite pretty too. :) Looks way harder than it is.

Well then what will you come up with for this challenge? What ever it is make sure to share it with us and we come and visit you. I would love to get a few more extra ideas to make for Christmas.

Ok, that would be all for this week. Now it's time to relax and maybe take a look at my purchase books. I have been home sick a few days this week. A really swollen throat and I sound like a crow that has sung too long. Do these birds sing? Hmm, don't know if you can call it that but that's how I sound at the moment. LoL

Have a great weekend and see you soon again.

Tagged sentiment

Hello and good morning! What great day it is! If plans hasn't change I will doggy sit my favourit doggy from tonight until Sunday. I can't wait! I love that Staffordshire bullterrier to death. He is the first dog ever who "liked" me before anyone else in my little family. My partner Mats has some kind of magic touch with these creatures and connects with them right away. I never do, except with this sweet heart. I am not sure that I will return him on Sunday...hehehe

The motive I have used for this card comes from Lili of the Valley and is called Festive Lantern. A nice classy looking image that I adore. Unfortunatly I don't have that many young men in my life who I can send cards like this too. "Sad eye" here... Oh well, I am happy to have those I have aint I? Ok, I feel my sleeping pills kicking in now, I don't take responsibility for what I write after this. LoL

I have used my favourite skech for this card. I comes from Papertake weekly and has number 85 on it I think. I love it, but when I first saw it I thought it was hard to use but at the moment am I using it for two or three cards per month I think. But you can always give it a little make over to suit you better. But I like it this way. Looks stable. Once again I have been lurking around in my favourit pad of the year Back to basics Christmas with Dove Craft. Those pads really keeps me going. As almost all the time have I been using my Letraset Markers for this colouring as. well. I have kept it simple as I don't want to spend a fortune on stamps when I can use them for craft material instead. LoL

Anyway the theme over at AUD sentiment that this card is made for has the theme of: "place your sentiment on a tag", I have used two as I am not tag person, but this worked out fine I think. It says Merry Christmas in Swedish. I used a Tim Holtz die do make the tags and then some letter stickers to "print out" the words. Couldn't help myself, so I added a little snowflake to the mix as well. :) Some brown and white bakers twine, a few cream pearls that I have gotten from Annelie is also used, and of course some stickles. You don't have a Christmas card if you don't have some sparkel on it, do you?

Sponsor for this challenge is Rick St Dennis Playing along with us you have a chance of  getting a great prize from Mr Rick St Dennis. So now you really need to come and play with us. And don't forget to set your sentiment on a tag or two.

Ok my friends, I see you back tomorrow again. Then it's time for my card for the Winter Wonderland. How fun that one will be to show. :) I wonder how on earth I am going to get good photos of that...hmm Well that will be tomorrows problem won't it?

Snowflakes

Morning and hello to you all. How is your week so far? Hope you're enjoying life and make sure you have some crafting time as we have a new fun challenge up for you over at the Paper Shelter. This weeks theme is snow flakes. Nice and easy I hope? You can use any snow flakes your creation. It can be brads, embossed ones, coloured ones, stitched ones, on your dp's, in your image etc. If they are hard to spot tell us where to look for them ok?

Well, I had actually another card made for this challenge but when Veronica introduced this sweethear of an image, I just had to use this one in stead. It's called "the most adorable snowmen". Isn't it just the cutest?

The image is coloured with my Letraset markers as always and for the most part I have used the new set of limited edition markers that I got the other day. That's kind of why I have such bright red colour combo. Wanted to see if they was as nice as I was hoping. A little to bright for my taste, Last year's winter edition was better. Well, it's always fun to add something new to the stash and they will be used so that won't be any problem. LoL

I have used Dovecraft paperpack Modern this time. I believe that one is from last year... As the theme is snow flakes I added a few of those as well as a snowy border. I also used tons of snow on my image in the form of Flower Soft. I love that fluffy stuff. To match it up and balance the card a tiny bit I have also used a die cut from Magnolia that got really well covered up by my big bow and smashing looking snowmen charm. Isn't adorable? Some pearls and a few letter stickers to add a sentiment and I am done for today. Please be sure to pop back tomorrow for my new inspiration card for the AUD sentiment challenges.
