3 or more designer papers

Good afternoon lovely crafters! Sorry being late with my TPS post today. I'm in terrible pain at the moment and have to write one handed. Not that simple I must say. My neck and left shoulder is killing me today well and has for the whole week, just not as badly as it is now.

So better make this one short. We have a new challenge up for you over at the Paper Shelter. This week we want you to use three or more designer papers. A really good reason to use up all of those scraps that we all have laying around. I managed to use up a few of my od pieces of designer papers together with some new sheets, but no left overs this time. Yippie!

My image is called Victoria and just click her name and you come to the TPS store. I love the look of this sweet gal. I love the old fashion looking type of image she is mixed with some kind of modern twist. She is paired up with some lovely looking dp's from Maja Design, Vintage spring. Just love this pad, well and the rest of the Vintage collection. LoL

I coloured little Miss with my Letraset Marker family in pink and grey shades. I do love my grey markers, especially the warm greys but this time I went with some of the others. A whole flower gardern from WOC and I am Roses is also used. A joy butterfly border and a Magnolia Doo Hickey border is also used for some fancy cutting. To back the image I used an old piece of corrugated paper and covered it a little here and there with some paint. Also used that on the flowers for a shabby chic look. The butterfly border is also covered with a thin coat of glitter spread all over when the paint was still wet. A row of pink gem stones from Bo Bunny anchor it all. Also did some faux stitching around the panels with a white pen.

Challenge prize badge

As always we have our great gift voucher up for grabs if you play with a TPS product. Either image, paper or some of the other products you can find at the shop. Playing with another brand gives you the chance of winning three digis of your pick.

Ok, finished for today. I think I will take a really hot bath now and see if my pain can ease a bit. I knew it was bad to remove the painkillers but I got like flu symptoms like my youngest had last week, and I had to find out if it's the meds or the flu I got. Well, both is really bad I will tell you, but at least if it had been the flu it would have been gone faster. Now I need to find something that helps a bit and doesn't make me feel sick. I really need to get back to school but with this pain I can't.

Love n hugs
Marie

Marie, I am so sorry you are hurting! I hope some heat and painkillers help. It is miserable to ache and hurt and so hard to concentrate when feeling like that! So, among feeling so awful, you create this fantastic card. I cannot create so beautifully when I feel well! This image is beautiful..and pink and warm grays are fabulous. I love your idea of corrugated cardboard with a dash of paint..it is perfect for this card. Putting the white paint gives this card such a soft and romantic feel. And with butterflies and an edge die like that, well, you added just more sugar to a sweet sweet card! This is gorgeous and I love the idea of putting the glitter on the butterflies. Please feel better soon. Hugs, Gail
