A late girly girl...

Hi and happy to see you here. Having huge trouble with my hands not wanting to work with me, I am a bit late with my new card. My fingers are looking a bit like little sausages this week, and they hurt, badly. Can only get better, can't it?

Better try to keep this short. Takes forever writing with one hand. The new theme over at the Paper Shelter is Girly Girl card. That means we want to see a card that is what you woud think of thinking girly. Like pink, pearls, ribbons, lace. An image with a gal or something that you "connect" with girls like make up, clothes, etc.

Well then, I have taken a half finished card that I started weeks ago and used it to make my girly card. It was really not this that was planned from the beginning. It was good that I had something that was pre cut. Help me finishing this card. The DP's are from Maja Design, vintage spring.

The image is called Just me. She is so sweet and I really enjoyed colouring her even if it took me forever this time. She's a real doll. She is coloured with my Letraset markers.

I gave up on the photo. I am really having a hard time getting a good photo of this card. This have to do... grr

I have used a few dies from Magnolia and Joy crafts. A MS punch that I finally bought after thinking long and hard about it. I don't regret it. It's very useful and looks lovely. Flowers from WOC as well as the chees cloth. Pearl string, lace,  ribbon and the zip handle from ROX stamps. Pearls from Bunny Zoe and the doily from Panduro. The rose lace is from WOC or The Ribbon girls, can't really remember. Walnut stain used for distressing the edges.

Challenge prize badge

As always we have a gift voucher worth $30 up for grabs if you play with any TPS product. Playing with another brand gives you the chance of winning three (3) digis of your choice. Isn't that just great?

Ok this is it from me for today. I hope you'll come and join us over at the Shelter this week. It's always so great to see what you come up with for our challenges.

Love n hugs
Marie

This card is fabulous. I love all the little details you have put into it...look at that zipper with the torn paper above it...OMGosh it looks like it really does go up and down! And the butterfly off the zipper is a wonderful idea! The shape of this card is so pretty and sweet and that MS punch was worth it! Your image is the sweetest image ever...and I adore her. Your coloring is fabulous!!!!! Wonderful die cuts, great papers, fabulous bow and magnificent flowers. This card shows how much you love cardmaking, that's for sure. And to do it with sore hands...wow. This is a beautiful work of art! Hugs, Gail

This card is filled with girly-goodness! I love all of the texture and dimension you added with those flowers. I also think you did a great job of combining all of those dies and other feminine elements. And I was stunned that you did this all with only one hand! I don't know the details of your situation, but I surely do hope that your fingers will be on the mend soon. In the meantime, just know that I thought your one-handed card was amazing for someone with ten hands!! Thank you so much for inspiring us here at the Simon Says Stamp Monday Challenge Blog!
