Make it feminine

Morning to you! Hope you enjoy the lovely time of fall or spring where ever you are. Here it has been a few days with lots of winds but nice anyway. I love this time of the year. Nice and cosy. :)

So it's posting week here on my blog again. Time goes by so quickly don't you think? We start off with the first card of the week, being made for the fun challenge over at Passion for Promarkers. The theme is set to "make it feminine". That means that we want to see all things girly, not that hard right?

I almost always making cute cards. This time I went the other way, well not a nasty look but a more adult style. I have used a stamp from Stempel Glede and the set "Vintage garden". I have coloured it with aqua markers from Letraset this time as I was going for a softer style. Overdozed on the colours anyway, but it was worth a try. LoL

Then there is tons of flowers because I think that belongs on a feminine card together with lace, pearls, ribbons, swirls and the lovely wooden birds that I found hiding in my stash. I have also been at it with one of the swirly stamps from the same stamp set as the main image is from. A little extra detail how to speak. And even if it's hardly not visible, I have also used a piece of washi tape. Didn't want the designer papers from Maja design to be compleatly plain.

Sponsoring us this week is Bugaboo who's offering 7 digis to our winner. Thank you for that!

Thanks for looking!

Two Ribbons

Good morning! Fourth day in a row! Shocking I know, and do you know what? This is how it will be in the future. I have joined the lovely people over at Winter Wonderland Challenges from today and this is my first challenge in this lovel group. I so need some motivation to get all my Christmas cards done and now there is no escape from that. Feels good and I am so glad that they wanted to have me on their fabby team. Isn't it strange? I am on four different teams now, all are bi weekly and I manage to have all my postings in the same week. Wonder who's messing with me? LoL

The challenge of the week is to use two ribbons and luckly for me I had two images coloured as well. I coloured this image with my Letraset markers and Prisma/Spectrum noir pens. One of my lovely cats has been at it again. Made me really late with my card, but I got there in time, just. LoL A big muddy paw print right on top of my almost finished card. Thank you Tage!

So my card then. I have used a Tiddly Ink image that I bought a while back but I never managed to make a card from it. I couldn't decide which dp's to use. Today I manage and used a few different paper packs from Dove Craft. Those close to me know that for my winter creations I just love to use my snow men and that's why I bought that pad. I love the snow man paper! Then matching them up with a few snow flakes and some season greetings. Just perfect!

Except the ribbons that I have used. The white one with some woven dots on it reminded me of snowballs and the natural colored ribbon is from Pysseltagen in flax and it says Merry Christmas in Swedish. I have also used a few snowflake punches and a few new dies. First up is my new Joy! die in the shape of a half snowflake. I just love it! It's so pretty and I have covered most of it up. LoL The tree is from the new Magnolia DooHickey die club. It's a nice looking tree but I think I like the older ones better. Well, I might get used to the big holes in it and it starts to look better. Who knows. There is a whole bunch of other dies that needs to be tried out as well. Hope I get a little time for that in the coming days. But first I need to make two more birthday cards for 8 year old boys. Plenty of time, needs only to finish by tomorrow around 1700. So much fun to work under preasure! Well, not at all. At the moment I don't like it at all.

For the men in our life

Hi and good morning! Hope that you are still doing fine this lovely week of fall. We're have a nice and lovely weather here in the South East of Sweden. Cold nights and sunny days. I love the air during this time of the year. It's crisp and lovely. But the other night I was freezing cold. I think I need to stop using my sandals during the evenings now. I still have not stopped freezing. LoL

Ok, today is Aud Sentiment day and that means a card made with a sponsor image and the theme is set to "For The Men In Our Life  (make a masculine card using a  suitable sentiment)". Sponsoring is Doodle Pantry. For my card have I used an image called "Hotrod". It's a lovely image and I loved to colour it. Always nice to do something different from the ordinary people and flowers I mainly spend my time colour.

I have paired the image up with some great designer papers from Fancy Pants called Swagger. I love the colours in this pad and I was lucky (read bright) enough to colour the image to fit the image well. The metal stars are brads from YouDo, ribbon is from the Ribbon girls and the twine is from Pysseltagen and the brand is Prima. The stitched circle is a die from MFT. I wrote my sentiment in Swedish and it says "On Father's day". We have that coming up during the fall here in Sweden so I thought I would be prepared for once.

I cut the car out and I just missed the angle a tiny bit and it's so irritating but no way I was going to start all over again with this. This is the third time I have coloured the image up and then messed it up by cutting too much again, so this have to do. Enough is enough how to speak.

Well my friends. I will actually be back with another post this week, and that is tomorrow. Stay tuned for that. And we'll meet again.

Love n hugs

Marie

Ribbon, twine or floss

Morning and hello people of the world! How are you this wonderful morning? Hope everything is fine and you have a long lovely day ahead of you. Myself will spend the day in school trying to finish off another part of my logistic class, by kids have a day off from school, they call it a Study Day, but my boys has to be on their "recreational care" the whole day instead half day. Spent last night in a parenting meeting with the parents from Philips class. Felt that everything they said was to me as I have been quiet hard on them. I get that way when some one is mean to my kid.

Oh well, this is my second posting this week. Are you getting bored of me yet? Have to warn you, I still have two postings left this week. :)

My card then, well lets start with our theme first and that is Ribbon, twine or/and floss for this week. I have had this little cutie coloured up for quite some time now, well actually since it first came to the store. I wanted to use it for another challenge at first but decided this was the one. Mr Happy knight here was just what I need for a this card. I have to make two more as it is a trippel party for Willy on Friday. I manage even if it will be tight! Anyway back to the card. The image is coloured wiht my Letraset markers and paired up with some dps from First Edition. Kind of spring feeling to them, but I happen to like blue, brown and green togehter so here we go.

As the card is for a guy, it doesn't have many details to it. At least not in first sight. But there is a net ribbon, a normal satain ribbon coloured with my distress markers and there is some twine as well. Also added is a few buttons, some card candy, a carm and a little plack with a sentiment will also be added there.

As always when we're having a challenge over at the Paper Shelter we have a gift voucher up for a lucky winner using a TPS image. It's worth $30. Playing with another brand gives you the chance of winning three digis of your choise. Nice prizes right?!

Anyway, this will be all from today, well I will get my photo in there as well but it got to dark to take a good photo last night, so I have to do it in the morning and I am not sure I have the time for it. We'll see.

Also take a look over at the Paper Shelter blog, we are currently holding a DT-call and there is still a few more spots that we need to fill. Maybe you are the crafter we are looking for. You need to be able to colour amazingly and your photos should be kind of perfect, if you are that person. Hurry up and apply! We are a great team to be on.

Make it digital

Morning to you all! I am finally back with a new creation. And a busy week it is! :) Todays challenge over at Passion for Promarkers is hosted by me and the theme set is "Make it Digital". So we want to see anything digital. That is image and or designer papers. You still have to colour on your own using any kind of markers from Letraset. Hope this is nice and easy.

For my simple yet cheerful card have I used the same digi set called Snow Fun from the Digi Stamp Boutique as I did last time "my" team had a challenge up over at PFP. There was so many images that I thought I use them again, even if I had used this snow man before. This time I flipped him around as well so he and his twin brother could dance around the sentiment together. A really joy to colour up and for the first time in ages have I not made a square card. It was really nice to do this size for a change.

It's very simple and that means it will be cheep on postage as well. I think I need to make a few more of these. And on top of that I used only scrap pieces of both card stock and designer papers. How great isn't that? A few corners made with a Whimsy stamp die and a few white pearls from Bunny Zoe's is the only decorations I used for this card. Told you it was simple! LoL The dp's are from last years collection from Dove craft if I remember right.

I have such a mess around me at the moment that it's strange that I get anything done. But the face is that I have many cards on the go at the moment and to make things even "worse" my olderst decided that it was time to make a few pages for his scrapbooking album. Let's say that the room ain't big enough for both of us. And my stash ain't built for him to rumble around on his own. But it's fun that he wants to do it and to be fair, he uses quite a lot of stuff that I wouldn't use myself. I should be grateful shouldn't I?

Sponsoring this challenge of ours is Digi Stamp Boutique. The winner have a voucher worth £10 waiting for you in the end of the challenge. That's a really treat!

Ok, I try to keep it short as I have two more cards to finish for this week and I am running late with one of them. Bad me! It was such lovely weather yesterday so I decided to spend an hour and a half outside watching my little scrapbooker play football/soccer. :)

Take care everyone and I see you tomorrow again!

Love n hugs

DT-call!

Good night everyone! Well, it's around Midnight when I write this post and it will probably be filled with spelling misstakes and other strange typing errors. Well, so that's no difference from my normal posts. LoL

Today am I bringing you some good news if you're looking to join the best design team out there. ;) Over at the Paper Shelter am I running a design team call. We are looking for a few new designers to join our happy and easy going team. We have two parts; the A and the B-team. Clever, right? But we funktion as one and help eachother when needed. So if you feel up to it, take a look over at the Paper Shelter Challenge blog and read the longest DT-call text out there. Maybe you feel that it's YOU we're looking for. Take the chance and apply to our lovely team.

Any sentiment except birthday

Morning everyone! Time for a new Aud Sentiment posting for me. Can't believe that two weeks already has passed me by. It's the turn of the B-team of the Aud sentiment challenges to give you some new fresh inspiration. On you creation we would love to see a sentiment that isn't birthday related.

This time we're sponsored by Stamp Art Design. The winner have a chance of winning five of these sweet images.  Nice right? Great! Then take some time and make a card for our challenge and you are half way there!

For my card I have used the super cute image called Snow Mail. I just love my snow men and for this one I had the perfect sentiment made by our own MC. Sending snowy hugs could come from no one other than a sweet looking snow man.

I have coloured my snowy friend with my Letraset Markers. Also a tiny touch of Prisma Pens is used for a little more shadowing.Thank godness that I picked an image with little to colour as my hands are so unstable at the moment. But everything works out, just takes a bit of extra time. I have used designer papers from NitWit collections. I think that they are from two different sets. Sorry I am a bit blur in my mind because of my meds, don't saying that I wouldn't be if I wasn't taking them. LoL

To ad details to my card I used a whole bunch of bits and pieces that I have been keeping since last winter season. So my snowy trees, wing covered with glitter and embossing powder, and snow flake has been ready to find their card a long time. But better late than never right? The snow flake border with gem stones is new for this "winter". Doily and ribbon is also from my stash.

Ok my friends. This was all from me for today. It was good seeing you all again. Please come back soon and I try to have something ready for you to see. I'm entering my final stadge of studies at the moment so I am fairly busy with that, but you never know. Take care!

Stars or hearts

Morning everyone! A new card for you today. Today is TPS-day here on my blog and for this new challenge over at the Paper Shelter, which by the way has the theme of Stars and/or hearts, have I made a card using both.

We are quite a few who has used the same image for this challenge so there is plenty of different inspiration going on for the challenge and the image "Reach for the stars". I however couldn't help myself and used DP's with hearts on to pair up with the image. They come from an old collection from BildmÃ¥larna that I really love.

I have coloured my image on some craft card with prisma pens this time. I had a period of doing that and this is a left over from that period. I have only used a few die cuts to decorate the card with. The star border is from Magnolia and the stars in the corners are made with a Joanna Sheen confetti die.

http://www.thepapershelter.com/

As always we have a gift voucher worth $30 up for grabs if you play with any TPS product. Playing with another brand gives you the chance of winning three (3) digis of your choice

Sweet and short today as Philip my youngest is home from school having fever for the third day in a row. Wonder when it will break? And will Willy stay of the cold? The story continues. And I who just started a new class. It will be late work tonight I think. Sorry about by photo by the way, a very bright sun of fall is shining today. I need to learnn how to handle this. I am still working with my messy craft room to give it some more space hopefully and to that I hope it will come a place to take better photos. :)

Enjoy your day!

Back to school

It's that posting week again. You know the weeks when I have all my cards up and then it gets empty for a week and then I am back again. And as you read this it's I'm back week again. LoL And our theme for the week over at PFP is also about being back, "Back in School" that is. So if you use Letraset Markers to colour your images you are more than welcome to join us. Here in Sweden we're already in our third week back in school and with that comes the colds. So this week has started with a sick kid and a tired mum. Oh, I am just hoping that I will stay off the cold. I don't have the time to be sick now. In a month or so yes, but not now. LoL

So my card then. Well, it's not that nice. You really should go and check out what my teamies has done for this challenge. They totally rocked it. Myself well, it's a card at least. I have used a lovely image from the Paper Shelter for this creation and it's called Vintage Teacher. I kind of had trouble colour this one in with my strange behaving hands and since I didn't want to start over a third time, I gave the vintage teacher a smart board instead of a slate. A modern vintage lady. I also ended up in the almost monochrome feeling going white, red and black. Just a dash of blue is added.

I was also clever enough to use up some Authentique designer papers that I have bought for wedding and engagement cards. So good to use up parts of the old stash. I also looked around in my big box of ribbons and found some old felt ribbon that I could use. A few pearls and some letters and numbers and I finally managed to finish this card off in the nick of time.

Sponsoring this challenge is Whiff of Joy stamps. I think the prize is one stamp that is in stock. Have to confirm this later on.

Anyway, I hope that you will come and join me and the rest of the PFP crew for this weeks challenge. Can't wait to see you around!

Love n hugs
Marie
