DT-Call over at the Paper Shelter

 

Morning and hello!

It’s finally time for our DT-call. It was many years since we had one, so we thought it would be a good time to let a few more designers join us.

This is what we ask from our designers:

· Be able to stay on the team for at least 6 months.

· Be able to comment on your numbers during the week your team host the challenge. (This is important to us).

· Take good pictures of your work.

· Good colouring skills (We wish that you as a designer colour your images and not only use the pre coloured ones).

· Be on time with your creations (Monday at the latest before the challenge goes live. We are always way ahead with our themes).

· Promote our challenges on your blog. (We are old fashion and are still using our DT-blog for uploading and promoting our cards/projects, but you are more than welcome to promote the challenges on other social media as well).

· We never demand you to use a certain image, but your project has to follow our theme.

This is what you get from us:

· All the images that are added to the Paper Shelter store during the time you are on the team.

· Promotion of your blog at our challenge blog.

· Be on the same team as a happy bunch of crafty ladies. We are not the chattiest team around, but we are nice and friendly.

· A gift voucher worth $30 to start your collection of our wonderful digi stamps.

To enter our DT-call, just add a link to your blog below. Make sure to link to a post that represent your style. We will be looking around on every blog that want to join us, to see what you can offer us. If we don’t find as many designers as we are looking for (five at the moment), we will leave the dt-spot open for the future. You don’t have to have DT-experience before.

DT-call!

Good night everyone! Well, it's around Midnight when I write this post and it will probably be filled with spelling misstakes and other strange typing errors. Well, so that's no difference from my normal posts. LoL

Today am I bringing you some good news if you're looking to join the best design team out there. ;) Over at the Paper Shelter am I running a design team call. We are looking for a few new designers to join our happy and easy going team. We have two parts; the A and the B-team. Clever, right? But we funktion as one and help eachother when needed. So if you feel up to it, take a look over at the Paper Shelter Challenge blog and read the longest DT-call text out there. Maybe you feel that it's YOU we're looking for. Take the chance and apply to our lovely team.

Design Team Call

As seen on this qute flyer, we are having a DT call over at the Paper Shelter, starting today 1st of September, closing 11th of September. You find all the information you need on the Paper Shelter challenge blog. Just take a jump on over and do make sure to take part in it, and then don't forget to tell your friends about it. We can't wait to see what you will come up with and I can't wait to see who is going to join me and Shirley in our new teams.

DT call over at the Paper Shelter

Hello! It's that time of the year again, we are doing our second DT call for this year.
Our DT call runs from today; 7th of July to 20th of July, that's two weeks. One entry per crafter only. We do check your blog and see what you are up to, so no need to apply more than once.

During this time we will not be commenting on our challenges, as we have given our teams some time of when it comes to this, they have been working hard since the beginning of the term. Our challenges will run as normal during the DT call, but without the commenting. 

Our new design team term will start 1st of August and last to 31st of January.
What you need to do to apply to the team

• As we work with digital images we like you need to use a digi for your application card. It doesn't have to be new and it doesn't have to be a TPS image even if we would love to see you use them.

• Your colouring skills needs to be excellent and that is one of the main things we are looking at for our new design team members.

• Please don't cover up your creation in too much decorations for this application, we really love to see your colouring! Even if we don't want you to cover up your creation (being a card, a LO, or altered project), we do want your project showing your style of creating.

This is what you need to be able to to regulary for the challenge blog

• We feel that everyone deserves at least two comments each from the DT, so every second week you have to do your commenting in time. We have a comment rota, two numbers for each team member.

• You need to be able to post your card in time both on the DT blog and on you own. (Yes, you do need to have your own blog and post on it regulary, at least once per week). 

• You need to be able to work with digital images as well as digital designer papers as the Paper Shelter produces both of these products. They Shelter does also provide pre coloured images and once in a while it's good if you use them as well.

Hope to see many of you entering this DT call, no DT  experience needed. Don't be shy and don't think you won't make it. Maybe you will, maybe you won't; but you don't know, if you don't try. So a big welcome to our DT call here at the Shelter.

It's that time again...

...or maybe not! This week is a bit special you see. Normally during this time I would encourage you all to "run" over to the Paper Shelter blog to take part in our challenge there. I am still encourage you to run over there but from now on and for two weeks I am hosting a design team call there. So no challenges for the next coming weeks, "just" a design team call.

I know that there is many of you saying: Oh, I can't do that, I'm not good enought. And I say, if you don't try you don't even have the chance to be on any team. One day it will be your turn and it might be here and now, who knows?!

We are looking for 7 new crafter to add to our two teams. We are sadly loosing three design team members and have to replace them. Then we need to add four new ones as we feel that all crafters deserves at least two comments each when entering our challenges. I will not be telling you all details here, you have to jump on over to The Paper Shelter to find out the full details. Gosh! I hope I won't forget anything as I can't correct it. I'm at the hospital recovering from a knee surgery.

A few things I do tell you here:
Your colouring skills are important. It has to be excellent. We are promoting some wonderful digi stamps and paper packs as well. You need to be able to use them both.

We will only look at crafter who's creation is made with a digi. We want to see how you handle them. We would be happy if you don't cover up your whole card with decorations and flowers as the image is the focus in this DT call. But of corse you can decorate it, but don't drown it. LoL

If you are into other crafts like "real" scrapbooking, LO etc you are more than welcome to apply. It's wonderful if we can get some scrappers in the team as well. But you still have to use a digital image to be in the DT call.
