Halloween sentiment

It's time again, I am back with my third card this week. This time I am offering my creation for our latest challenge over at AUD sentiments. The theme is set to "Halloween sentiment". Can't go wroing here can you? You make a halloween card and then add a sentiment that we can see on the card. Well, being a little nagging here as many of you missed out on top spots last time because there was no sentiment. :(

Ok, here we go. I don't celebrate Halloween and I don't let my kids do it either. I hate it when they are only showing horror movies on the tv. This is really not my  time of the year how to speak. I prefere All Saints Day when you can light a candle and remember the friends and families who has passed. That's more my thing. However, this card was fun to make even if I don't know what I shall use it for.

I had fun colouring the image. I love the thick lines! Totally different from my normally and mostly used TPS images. I kind of like the fun dp with the haunted houses on it and I love the bright colours of Halloween. So something good in this as well. :) I used a sketch from SugarPea challenges and I found it nice. I am not sure that the challenge is still "alive" but I like it at least. The dp's by the way is Echo Park and they are digital. The sentiment and gemstones are from my stash. Comes from an old Molly club kit. Tons a dp's and decorations I need to use up. Well, that has to be done somehow. Better get the kids to start scrap and make cards again, don't I?

Sponsoring us this week is Bugaboo and the prize is 7 digis to the winner. Thank you for that Bugaboo!

Love n hugs
Marie

Hi, Marie! I love Halloween projects, despite not really celebrating the festival here. You could always change the sentiment to 'Have a monster Birthday' and use the card for someone who has a birthday around now? Hugs, Lisa x

So many things I like about this design Marie! The papers you chose are perfect together, the image is really funny sweet rather than scary and the sketch is a keeper! If you don't mind I will tape this in my art journal where I tape inspiration or sketch out my ideas. Your placement of the gemstones is creative too. Since you don't celebrate Halloween and have no use for it - you might use the card as a RAK for someone who does.
It's fun having you with us Marie!
