Anyway, have to keep it sweet and short today. We have a second week left of our sketch challenge over at AUD sentiments. Do pop over an have a look what the fabby team have been up to. You can flip the sketch if you want to, just make sure that we can see the original sketch in your design.
Sponsoring the challenge is Lacy Sunshine Stamps & Stitchy Bear Digital Stamps for sponsoring this challenge! They have provided images for our DT to showcase for your inspiration and they are providing the prizes for the challenge winners.
And then my card where I have used a Lacy Sunshine stamp called Rory - Maybe my prince. For those who know me this must be a very strange image image I am using. There isn't many things I dislike more than frogs, and I picked an image with that animal. Really strange. LoL Challenge myself, well, actually I it was the colouring challenge I as going for and there it happend to be a frog so two challenges in one. LoL
It's coloured with my Letraset Markers and some prisma pencils as I was in a different kind of pink scale this time. A bit harder as I am not used to it, still it went well with the dps from LOTV. This pad is called Always and Forever. Really lovely pad that will fit well for many card designs. I have also used the Magnolia doo hicky dies from the last club kit. I love the wheat die cut. You don't see as much of it here as I have cut it in black and covered most, but its wonderful as well as the little leafs. Theres is also a pumpkin swirl that is quite lovely but really covered up. Just poping throw here and there.
As decorations as you see, I have used tons of flowers, the circle element is represented by doily that got a bit covered up. Some blingstones and those popular dots is also used. Had a few of those dots left over from another project. Got those from Annelie by the way. The sentiment says "Congrats" in Swedish.
Love n hugs

this is a beautiful card love the colour combo and your take on the sketch Ginny x
Marie - a lovely card indeed!! I love how you use pencils to enhance your markers... I have got to try that as you have achieved really nice blending! Your use of black really gives your piece depth & definition! The black die cut mat with the Lace[?] at the bottom and the stems and leaves you added are great details. "Gattis" to you Marie!
