Winter Blossoms

Morning and hello! Sitting here in the sunshine and blogging my Christmas creation for this weeks challenge over at the winter Wonderland, hosted by MI. I have choosen the theme of Winter Blossoms as many of my favourite flowers are around me at that time of the year. Like white tulips, dark red amaryllis and poinsettia. Still it was a bit hard thinking about Christmas the last few days with around 15 degrees Celcius outside. LoL

This time did I decide to do something that I don't do that many times per year and that is altering something. However, late last night did I decide that is what I am going to do this time. I have a little stash with boxes laying around that I have bought when I found them to a good price. This round one is from IKEA. The box is about 10 cms in diameter.

I have used some old stash that have been around for quite some time. Dove craft paper pack, lots of pearl string of different kind, two kinds of lace and the box... Then I put together the poinsetta flower with dies from Spellbinders that I had laying around for ages as well, not having used before. For a first try, the flower got ok. I couldn't find any instructions so it was learning by doing this time. Lots of glitter glue is also added and some cheese cloth as well.

This challenge have two sponsors. Thank you so much for that!

Well this will be all from me for today. I will now spend sometime outside before I start preparing my papers for the soccer meetings on Sunday. Lots of soccer at this point. Hopefully it will soon be a little less stress to it. But for now we eat, sleep and talk soccer all the time.

Love n hugs
