Bells or anything Christmas over at TMCC

Morning and hello! Time for a new challenge over at the Merry Christmas Challenge blog. As always we have the theme of Anything Christmas and this weeks optional theme is Bells.

I have for my card used the same image I used about a month ago, but this time it's embossed in white instead of black. The cards are simular as I did use the same basic look for them and then altered the decorations to fit our themes. So this time have I decorated with some bells and some really thick twine.

I did also use a few golden card candy as an extra bling of gold. There is also some golden mist sprayed all over the card for adding a tiny bit of sparkle.

I am sorry that I am really short here today as I have pain like crazy in the left side of my back and shoulder. Glad I had this card done over a month ago.

Anyway, I hope that you will come and join us over at the TMCC and start getting your Christmas cards done in plenty of time.

Take care and do stuff that makes you happy.

Love n hugs

Gorgeous gingham over at Passion for Promarkers

Morning and hello! Welcome back to my blogging corner. It's a tiny bit empty today, but at least I am here to tell you about it but I have no card for this weeks challenge as my fingers doesn't want to colour at the moment. I have spent hours trying to get them to work with me, but it's a total no no at the moment.

Anyway our theme for this week  is Gorgeous gingham which is a nice and easy theme. It shouldn't be any trouble for you to get a card ready for this challenge. If I am lucky I might get somehting done during the week or maybe earier than that. Who knows, I just need my fingers to start work with me again. It has been tons of trouble with them the last week, mostly because I have been writing tons of things on the computer the last three weeks. Not enough rest from the computer causes this. But this week will hopefully be a better one as Easter is here and that will be a better time with rest. Looking forward to that.

I can't wait to see what you all come up with for this fabby theme. And I am sorry that I don't have anything to show for this challenge, I hope it get better soon,

So until then, take care and do something that makes you happy!

Outdoor fun over at the Winter Wonderland

Morning and hello! I am back with my fourth post here this week. And this time I am presenting a card for the Winter Wonderland challenge. We have the fabby theme of "Outdoor fun". So this time we want to see a creation when your Christmas card or projec have an outdoor activity showing.

Welcome to the brilliantly bizarre brain of Dr. Digi's House of Stamps. You also find Dr Digi's over at Facebook

Here you will find monsters, aliens, odd balls and Dundertons as well as many more ....

We are sponsored by the lovely people over at Dr Digis house of stamps. Offering one lucky winner will get two digis of their choice.

And now for my card. Maybe not the best one I ever made but for this time I will have to do. It has been a nutsy week and I have been drowning in work stuff and posting here on my blog. The thought is always to work a bit a head but there is never enough time for it.

Anyway, I coloured away with a bit of nuts Christmas colours for the parachute, but isn't those in crazy colours most of the time. Anyway, the image is called Skydiv Santa. And I paired him up with some digital dp's from Echo Park called winter time. I used a few die cuts to decorate the card and a piece of mesh cloth with some stars and dots on it. I also used a die cut from Lawn Fawn saing FAlalala. And that is about it.

I hope you come and join us over at the Winter Wonderland as you know you will be needing these cards sooner than later. Only follow our theme and enter your creation to our challenge. Nice and easy.

Take care and do something that makes you happy.

Hot or cold colours over at the Paper Shelter

Morning and hello! Time for another post here in my little world. This time it's time for a new challenge over at The Paper Shelter. We have the theme of Hot or Cold colours this week. That means we want to see a creation either in warm colours like red, yellow, orange or brown. Or in cold colours which means blue, silver, white etc.

I decided to go with cold colours and have coloured The Great Baker with a mix of copis and Promakers. I did use my 6 x 6 paper pad from Maja Design called Denim & Friends. I did keep the design simple and kind of clean.

I did use a piece of my normal lace in dubble layers and some pearls. On the sides did I use some lovely pearl stars, that I most often forget to use.

As always, we have a gift voucher up worth $30 when you play with the Paper Shelter brand. Playing with another brand gives you the chance of winning 3 digis of your choice. Nice and easy to play along, right? You can enter our challenges up to three times, but at least one of your creations needs to have a TPS image on it.

I am a bit tired so sweet and short for this post. Take care and do something that makes you happy.

Grinch Movie or anything goes X-mas over at TMCC

Morning and hello! How are you doing? Hope you're having a good week so far. At the moment I am recovering, yes again from yet another cold. I really wonder how many colds you have get in a row in a really short time? The answer is MANY! I bet it has to change sooner or later, right?

We have a new challenge up over at the Merry Christmas Challenge. Our theme is set to the Grinch Movie, but as I have not seen it. Not a fan at all of Jim Carrey so nothing for me. So I went with our second theme; Anything goes for Christmas.

I have been busy the last months doing some small stitch projects and the finished one here is two small pieces that is made into a snow globe. I have had the globe since my youngest was born and that was 2008. Let just say life has been busy since then. LoL But now it's finally done and I have my first Christmas gift for the year ready.

The first side shows a little branch with some bridies on it. My grand dad used to love these bullfinches. He always feed the little birds in his garden. Never letting his cats out on their own. He took them out on walks in leash instead, so that he could had the best of both birds and cats. The birds was so used to him and granny that some learned to knock on the kitchen window when the food was out at that spot. Pretty amazing that a wild "animal" can learn something like that. So this piece is for my grand parents.

And this is the other side of the snow globe. A classic Santa with his round, friendly face and a little birdie here as well. It ties it all together. It was lovely to finally finish this decoration and start off the collection of Christmas gifts.

I do hope that you will come and join us over at the Merry Christmas Challenges, and get your cards done in plenty of time for the Christmas Holiday. Or maybe you have another project that you want to finish for Christmas. It could be anything related to Christmas like LO's, presents, cards, tags etc.

Take care and do something that makes you happy.

Spring over at Passion for Promarkers

Morning and hello! How are you doing? Hope you're having a good start of your week. Fairly good over here. Next cold is healing, just some cough left and a horrible tiredness. Only way is forward...

I did manage to make a card for this lovely challenge with the theme of "Spring" that we have over at PFP this week. So anything that has to do with spring on your creations would be nice to see. Tulips, spring flowers, Easter maybe etc. You probably have more ideas than I do.

I decided to go with spring colours and a tiny hit of Easter to that. I have used two old Bildmålarna images that I bought from them when they went out of business. I have a few more of them that I have not used yet. Mostly because I don't use my stamps that often anymore. It's fairly hard when you have trouble with your hands and back. But the new stamping tools where you can stamp at the same place again really, really helps. A lot! It was fun to do it again and I think I will drag out a few more of my stamps in the near future.

Do you know what is the best part of this creation? I have used some of my original paper paps from Letraset with the heavy card stock. And I don't know why the stopped making it. It's sooo much better than all the rest. I have a few sheets from one pad and one full one left then it will be over. I will miss them. But when I feel bad I bring them on and it makes feel like I am a great colourista. :)

Anyway, the images is called Rooster and Stone Wall. I did even do some masking for this card. I coloured with my Letraset markers / Winsor and Newton markers. Lots of love for colouring on the lovely paper and the sweet images. I went with pastel colours and it became kind of pretty.

I have been digging deep in my stash as well and found some lovely papers that has a kind of spring colours. It's called Pink Parafait and is from Forever Friends collection. It's a really sweet pad and I kind of have one and half pad left from that as well. LoL

Of couse did this card also need some decorations. This time did I digg out my butterfly punch from Martha Stewart. Punched a few in purle, a few pinks and a few yello ones. Became a nice edition to the lovely mini flowers from Crafts U love Mini flowers, pastel collection. I decorated them with some pearls in white and yellow. The final touch is my lace that I have used on most of my cards lately.

So with this I hope that I have given you some kind of inspiration for a spring creation. The only thing that you have to do is to colour with any kind of Letraset / Winsor & Newton markers and then you will have a chance to win our lovely prize.

Our sponsor this week is the Digi Stamp Boutique. Up for grabs is a gift voucher worth £10. That is nice, isn't it? Hope you will come and join us over at Passion for Promarkers and our spring theme.
