Weather over at Passion for Promarkers

Morning and hello! Time for a new fun challenge again over at Passion for Promarker. This week are enjoying the theme of Weather! That means we want to see some weather related creations from you this week. Snow, rain, sun, winds etc. I am sure you can think off something brilliant that we have not thought about.

I have used an old Lili of the Valley James the bear stamp. He is of course coloured with my promarkers from Winsor & Newton / Letraset. I have also used some glossy accent as water so it is also a part of my colouring. I did even managed to get some bubbles on the glossy accent on the umbrella. It looks like the rain is flowing over the umbrella IRL. Nice and fun effect that I should say was on purpose, but wasn't. LoL

I have used an old paper pad once again. It might be My Minds Eye so it's really, really old. It could be yet another brand as well... Me and my pads... I used some twine and an umbrella charm as decoration for this card. I have many layers on the card so I didn't think that I needed very much on the card. I am really happy with how the colours turned out on this one, especially the umbrella, and the shadows in the water puddle.

Sponsoring our challenge is Di's Digi stamps whos is offering a voucher worth £12. How nice isn't that? One lucky entry will win the prize providing that the image is coloured with Promarkers.

This is all from me for today. I really hope that you will come and play with us. It's a nice and fun challlenge that can maybe get you started on your Christmas cards or something else of course!

Take care and do something that makes you happy!

Summer vibes over at The Paper Shelter

Morning and hello! How are you? I am back with a second post for the day and the clock has only passed 10:00 here in Sweden. Oh well busy day! Tonight will we go and see the oldest play soccer again. I has been and is tons of that sport at the moment both live and on the TV. LoL

Today is the start of a new challenge over at the Paper Shelter and our theme is set to "Summer Vibes". That simply means that we want to see a card or lay out or other creation with a summer theme. Nice and easy I hope?

For my card have I used the brand new image called Have fun in the sun. It's a really cute and fun image where you can let all of your fabby summer feeling come live. I didn't have to colour it myself so I used Veronicas smashing work for this card. It has been a few hard weeks again with a new med and amazingly lots of pain. It's still giving me trouble but I am getting there. Doing my best and try to think about breathing and not take everything so serious all the time. Just like the summer should be, one day at the time.

I have used the fabby Echo Park paper pack called Summer fun if I am not misstaken. Tons of fun happy colours that I just want to sit and look at but today I took the brave step to cut into the papers. I also used a few matching enamel shapes (triangles) in different colours. It's from the collection as well. I so badly wanted to use one of the flamingos but it just didn't work. Have to save that one for something else. In the meantime I sit and look at it and smile. I also used a dotted ribbon and a few gem stones in turquoise and lilac to give some texture to the card.

As always if you play with a TPS image you have the chance to win a gift voucher worth $30 and playing with another brand gives you the chance of winning 3 digis of your choise. A great prize either way, don't you think?

Anyway, this is all from me for today. I hope you will come and join us for this challenge even if the weather is nice and warm. You can always craft outside and get into the summer vibe.

Love n hugs

Memories or anything Christmas over at TMCC

Morning and hello! How are you doing? Hope that you are doing fine and that you have a fabby week so far. The summer is here and this week are we here in Sweden celebrating Midsummer Eve. Always a nice project and lots of fun. Looking forward to it as we are going to my cousin and her husband. Almost as always.

So today I have a card to show you for The Merry Christmas Challenge. Our theme this week is set to Memories or Anything goes Christmas. The optional theme of Memories do also have the theme of Christmas of course, after all it is a Christmas challenge.

I have used a Tilda from Magnolia Winter kit from 2016 I think. I have a real passion for snow men and I have a tiny one on this creation. LoL Super cute and it was really about time that I used the image. I probably have 100's of stamps laying around that I never have used. I really need to start to use them, at least once, don't you think?

I have coloured with distress inks as it's a bit easier than colouring with my markers. Besides that it's kind of fun to do the distress colouring from time to time. I should do it more often. The images always get a bit too pink in their faces, but I will work on it. The designer papers I have used are from NitWit collections but I don't remember what it is called as I have it on my other computer.

Anyway, I hope that you will join us for our Christmas challenge this week. We are soon in July and after that is it soon Christmas time again.

Take care and do something that makes you feel good!

Love n hugs

Make it Manly over at PFP

Morning and hello! It's Tuesday again and time for a new fantastic challenge over at Passion for Promarkers. Hazel has set the lovely theme of "Make it Manly". And either we like it or not we have to make those cards for the mans in our lifes from time to time. It might be a tiny bit harder than adding a bunch of flowers to our creations but there is tons of fun stuff you can use. Metal, cogwheels etc and there is tons of fun male images out there.

For my card have I used an image from Make it Crafty that I have had for ages. I am sorry that I can't remember the name of it, but it sure is fun right? I have also used up some of an old paper pad from (probably) Echo Park. I don't have the name of that one either as I don't have the front of the pad left used a bunch of papers.

There is quite many layers in this card, both card stock and papers. For decorations have I used a bunch of die cuts. I think they are all from Lawn Fawn, but I am not 100% sure. The die cuts comes from my die cut box that I keep on my desk that is filled with die cuts. Both left overs and stuff that I make extra while I am at it and what to lower my stash of left over pieces.

Sponsoring this challenge is Lacy Sunshine who is offering one lucky winner 3 digis of our winners choice.

So come on and join our fun. The only thing you have to do is to use your Letraset / Winsor and Newton markers to colour on your creation. There is a nice prize up for grabs and some lovely comments from our fantastic team.

Take good care and do something that makes you happy!

Christmas birds over at Winter Wonderland

Good afternoon! A tiny bit late with my post today as I have trouble getting my body to do what I tell it to. Oh well, it has been worth but hopefull it all will turn for the better really soon. Anyway, we have a new fun challenge up for you over at the Winter Wonderland today. The theme is set to Christmas birds. Which naturally means that we want to see some birdies on your Christmas creation this two week period that our challenge lasts.

I have been a bit lazy and used a topper from Lili of the Valley for my card today. It's very cute and lovely. I paired the topper with some Maja design papers from one of their Christmas pads. As always I have no clue what collection it is from. LoL I better start to study the names of the collections soon.

I used a few metal snowflakes in brownish metal and one charm in silver. I tide that one on the card with some twine in red and natural white. I also found a few heart shaped pearls in a lovely brown colour that matched it all perfectly well. For one of the panels have I used my beloved Fiskars punch once again. It gives it all a bit of extra detail. Love that.

So even if its really warm weather and summer is here I hope that you will take some time and come and play with us. It's realaxing to make these Christmas cards now. Even feels a bit colder in the air! LOL

Take care and do something that makes you happy!

Letters and/or numbers over at TPS

Morning and hello! How are you? Hope you're having a great week so far. I have been quite some pain again. The weather has change and has become colder again after almost a month with summer temps. It has been great but it has been good to be able to breath again today. Well, now I just need my fingers to get a bit better and hopefully the pain will be gone faster this time. Anyway, this is not why you are here this time. I think and hope that you will have a look at my card for the TPS-challenge this week.

We are having the theme set to "Letters and / or numbers" this week. And it simply means that we want you to write something on your creation. A happy birthday, turning 21 or 50th anniversery or what it can be. We want you to write something as easy as that.

For my card have I used a little older image called "Magical Bubble Bath". A really cute image and it's one of my favourite things to do, to take a bath. So totally relaxing, especially if it is really cold out side. And considering the weather we have here, it will be a while before I take a really hot bath. LoL

I have coloured my image with my letraset / Winsor and Newton markers and I have also used plenty of glossy accent to high light the bubbles and the water. Well, all the wet stuff. The bubbles looks a bit grey on my photo but it's the glossy accent together with the markers that has been really reinforced in the picture and I don't know how to get it to tone down. Sorry about that. I wrote out a little celebration sentiment "Relax! It's your day" and there you have my numbers. The rest of the decorations is a piece of lace and the used of and old border punch from Fiskars.

As always when you play with us over at the Paper Shelter you have the chance to win a gift voucher worth $30. Playing with another brand gives you the chance to win 3 digis of your choice. Nice and easy and you can enter up to three time, but one of your creations needs to have a TPS image on it.

Take care and do something that makes you happy!

Polka dots or anything goes Christmas over at TMCC

Morning and hello! How are you? Having a great week so far? I hope that you are doing fine and are ready for a new fun challenge over at TMCC. This week we have our normal Anything goes Christmas or you can go with our optional theme which this week is set to Polka Dots. Nice and easy challenge we hope!

Well friends I have been watching some classes on line with both photo editing and photo learning the last week and I am the first to say that I am not there yet. But I am getting closer to what I am looking for. Got some really nice shots the other week when my youngest was playing soccer. Fun stuff! This picture is a bit yellow and maybe a little too much but you got to try before you get tons better.

I was a bit lazy this week and used a topper from LOTV. It's really sweet but not my colouring, just a topper but for this one it was a perfect way to go. I have used one of Maja Designs paper pads. I think that is A Christmas gift for you. Not 100% sure but pretty. I have match the image up with some red and beige coloured papers from the pad. Then I decided to use some flowers and metal snow flakes. They are almost not showing up, but they are there. I also used some die cut leafs made with some dies from Magnolia, Sweden. The flowers are from my stash and probably are from I am Roses and Wild orchid Craft. Hope you like it!

Well my friends we are in June by now and that means that we only have 6 months left until Christmas is here. I hope you will come and join us for some Christmas fun and maybe you even get a card or two made this week.

Take care and do something that makes you happy!

Love n hugs
Marie
