Christmas Cheer 6-22

Morning and hello!

It's already the end of June and half of 2022 has already passed by. It feels like yesterday we celebrated New Year's Eve. I have been making my Christmas cards all year around just like always. However I have a huge lack of energy and does for some reason have hard to get my photograph taken of my projects.

At this point am I having a little break from my crocheting and thought I could take the chance to get this post blogged at least.

My image is from hÄnglar and wings and this little sweet heart comes from the set called Kramtomtar (=Hugging Santas). It's a wonderful set of stamps to work with. I totally adore this set and I have a whole bunch of them stamped that I will colour when I find some energy for it.

My designer papers comes from the set called Merry Magic from Dove Craft. The paper pack is mega old but I have plenty left of this pack. I think I have had two of them and they are huge (72) papers in one pack. Take some time to finish! LoL

Anyway, even if we are in the middle of summer I hope that I can inspire you to start working on your Christmas creations. December is here before you know it!

Celebrations over at Passion for Markers

 Morning and hello!

Time for a new fun challenge over at Passion for Markers. This week's theme is set to "Celebrations" and we are sponsored by the Paper Shelter.

For my card have I used an older image called Spring Soul. A lovely and sweet image that is fun to colour. I have coloured this one about a year back I think as I still struggle with my fingers and hands. One day are the perfectly fine to use, the next one are they not working at all. I am grateful for all images that I have coloured when I was able too.

I have used my favourite paper pad from Honey Bee Stamps called Summer Stems. It's a fantastic paper pad with lovely patterns and colours. Wish I had a bunch of these papers. I have also made some rolled roses and paired them with leafs and other flowers from my stash. I had fun making this card and I have actually decorated the inside as well. But I could not photograph that because of the wet Nuvo drops that will take some time to dry totally. Oh! My sentiment stamps are from hÄnglar and Wings. I just love them! Great to work with and lovely images as well.

Birthdays! over at Passion for Markers

 Morning and hello!

It's Tuesday again and time for a new fun challenge over at Passion for markers. This week's theme is "Birthdays". A nice and easy theme from us, right? Don't forget to make sure that it is a birthday card.

For my card today have I used a Bugaboo stamp that I had in my stash of coloured images. Still fighting a battle with my hands/fingers when it comes to colouring. Anyway, my youngest nephew had his first birthday some days ago and this is what I sent to him.

It's many layers on this cards, like most of the time when I create my cards. I have used an Echo Park paper pad called Welcome spring which is perfect for my bee image. The lady bug and on his antennas have I used glossy accent with makes it look a bit off here on the photo but it looks nice IRL. I have used a die cut cirkel to make space for my number 1. And it pops as I have used a black frame around it as well. Many layers of die cut number to get some texture on the card. In the corners have I used Nuvo Drops in a transparent colour.
