Christmas Cheers 2-24

 Morning and hello!

Here comes a new Christmas card from me and this is my second Christmas card for 2024. I have had this image coloured for quite some time by now and it was time for the image to get to be the focal point on a card. The image is from Magnolia, Sweden.

I have use a blue paper pad from Crafters Companion. I don't remember what it's called. It's filled with blue, grey and silver coloured designer papers. It's really lovely but a bit hard to match with each other as it is quite strong colours

Anyway, I have also used a part of the corrugated cardboard as a back drop to the image. It is a great match for Christmas images in my mind. Pearls and chrystal clear snowflakes and a silver corner is also added to the mix. A sheer ribbon with white dots is also used to finish off my Christmas card. Hope you find some inspiration from it.

Just for Fun 2-24

 Morning and hello!

Hi! Here am I again. This time to show one of my Just 4 Fun cards. I wish I had energy to make a card specially for a challenge but I just don't have the focus for it at this point. Maybe later, hopefully! 

Anyway, I have used the fabby image called Virk-Lisa from hÄnglar and Wings. Isn't the image charming? I love my hÄnglar and I love to crochet. So much fun and even better to combine two favourite things in one card. 

I made this card as a birthday card, and the sentiment is also from hÄnglar and Wings but I don't remember what stamp set it is from. I have used quite muted colours for this card. It was a good mix with the yellowish pink colours I have coloured the images with. 

The flowers is from my stash and they are made of some kind of fabric and plastic of which I have cut away most of it. Some pearls have also been added for a final touch.

Flower Friday 1-24

 Morning and hello!

I am back for the second time this week with a new card. I have chosen to call my new mini series Flower Friday. Can that be something to keep going? 

I have used a favourite stamp from Magnolia, Sweden. I have had this stamp for ages and never get bored of it. It's fun to colour and it makes great cards, especially for spring.

I have coloured with my Promarkers and matched the image with some designer paper from Maja Design. I believe that the designer papers are from Basic Spring collection. A die cut border made with dies from Lawn Fawn have been used and together with a ribbon and some pearls is the card finished. It was a fun make and I look forward to make a few new cards pretty soon.

Birthdays over at Passion for Markers

Morning and hello!

Hi! Time just flies by doesn't it? It's already time for a new challenge over at PFM and this week's theme is set to "Birthdays" which should be an easy and fun theme to play along with. 

This week are we sponsored by the lovely Colour of Love which offers one lucky winner 3 digis of winners choice. Thank you for that!

For my card have I used the image called Evony City Girl from our sponsor. I have coloured with a mix of markers from Promarkers, Spectrum Noir and Copic. I had for once in a long time fun colouring again which made me happy, so happy that I got a small bunch of images coloured so now am I ready to make some new cards again. I have used designer papers from a polish brand, the paper pad is called Moon something and the papers are wonderful dark ones with light one to compliment the darker once. Really lovely!

I have used a few decorations on this project. Glittery Nuvo drops in black with gold, flowers, a charm, some lace and some corrugated cardboard that I reused. I have also used a sparkling marker from Spectrum Noir, it get very bright at some points but I managed to take a photo that wasn't covered in sparkle and shine this time. 

I had fun making this card and I hope that you will come and play with us over at Passion for Markers. All you have to do is to follow the theme and colour with markers. I look forward to come and visit you at your blog spot!

Christmas Cheers 1-24

 Morning and hello!

Here comes 2024's first Christmas card from me. I have made a few more of my mini cards. I should probably have showed this one on my Mini Monday series but for now is it nice with a Christmas Cheers card. 

It's Lawn Fawn images coloured with my promarkers. I have had so much fun creating these cards for my pen pals. And now am I ready for this years Christmas as well. At least it is a beginning for the coming celebrations. And I am happy to have a good start of my Christmas cards.

First team 1 challenge over at Passion for Markers 2024

Morning and hello!

Happy New year to all of you! Hope you have had a good start of the new year and that you will have a lovely year of 2024.

Today is it time for our first challenge over at PFM, that is for team 1. Our theme of this challenge is "Use a stencil". So an image coloured with markers and then a stencil somewhere on your creation and you are ready for our challenge.

Our sponsor this week is Di's Digi Stamps and one lucky winner will get a £6 voucher to spend in the store. 

For my card this week have I used some flowers that I have had coloured for a long time but never used. At that time was it more fun to colour than create. The stamps are from Altenew. I adore poppies and have a big collection of poppy stamps from different brands. These flowers are coloured in a deep orange colours just for the fun of it. 

I dug out a stencil with old writing on it and some coffee spots to that so that I could have some fun playing with stencils in layers but with the same colour, vintage photo of distress inks. I have even gotten back to distress the edges of my card. I have also used a sentiment stamp from hÄnglar and Wings.
