Hi my dear friends. I am back again with a little card to show you. As I am off on vacation this week and half of the next one, I have only taken with me a limited amonth of scrap material. That was a real challenge to make the card with just this little but I got there in the end. I don't have any software to edit my card or nothing. So back to basic. LoL
I have made a Christmas card with one of the wonderful images from the Sugar Nellie. Love it to bits and she is coloured with my Letraset family. Added some glitter glue for sparkel on her wings and on the snowflakes. On the big snow flake I fixed a snow flake charm. The designer papers are from Bearly Mines' Christmas Sparkle. Love the rich wonderful colours in that set.
A white snow flake charm from YouDo and flowers from Wild Orchid crafts. Some lace from Molly's scrapbooking and some flattened "pearl hoods" in the corners and I felt ready.
The card is made for our new challenge over at Bearly Mine Challenges where we have the challenge theme of Anything goes, so why don't you join us in our adventures over there?
Love n hugs
Marie

Challenge time over at TPS
Hello there dear friends! I am back and I am typing fast as I have had such problems with the internet access and blogger the last week. Felt totally lost and had tons to do needing the computer and the net. How typical isn't that?
Had a blast of a day yesterday or not. First the cat to the vet for some surgery, then one of the kids throw up in the car, then the internet again and to finish of a lovely day the washing mashine broke. Isn't life just wonderful? My brother would have told me to be grateful. It couldn't be much worse. LoL At least I am feeling good even if I am so stressed, but it will pass.
Now to my card. This image has been laying on my desk just waiting to be used just like the others I have been using the last couple of posts. I am not friends with my printer either as it keeps smearing the ink colouring with my dear promarkers. It's fine using the copics but with my crappy hands it's easier to hold on to and colour with as they are bigger.
Ok then back to the card, coloured with my letraset family and some metallic markers from the same gang. Papers are from Maja Design Vintage Summer. Love those so much that I don't want to use them. LoL Some gesso on a metallic star die made with spellbinders. Flowers from WOC, and so is the metal corner and lace. Charms from Bildmålarna, the rose ribbon from the Ribbon girls or WOC. I don't remember. Some distress ink is used to distress all the edges. Pearls from BunnyZoe and metall spirals from Magnolia, Sweden.
As always we have a $20 gift voucher up for grabs if you play in our challenge over at the TPS challenges with a TPS image. (Gosh what a strange sentense that became). If you play with another brand you can win three digis of your own choise. Nice too right?
With this said, I hope that you come and join us for our Metal embellishment challenge over at the Paper Shelter this week.
Love n hugs
Marie

"Guesting" in the A team
Hello! My internet access is behaving a bit strange here so I hope this will be written before it goes down again...
I am back with my vintage card style. Second in a row. It's also the first time I make a shaped card. Don't have any dies for big stuff but got these ovals a while back. Needed a card for MIL, so I took it all to one piece. I am guesting the Bearly Mine Challenges' A team this week as Donna is feeling poorly and there is alread one team member short as one is leaving us. Hope to see you around Laine!
I made the card with another image laying around the desk, printed ages ago to be used on a card. Of couse never got around to it, but now when both printer and the net is acting up, it got used. LoL Bad things is not always bad are they?
So oval dies from Spellbinders. Image. Ahh, flowers from Wild Orchid Craft and a few from I am Roses, so golden glitter stickles. A butterfly from Altheas and I was done. Fairly simple actually. Saves me tons of time that's for sure as I am probably the slowest colourista out there. Oh and some pins as well, pearly stuff is never wrong when it comes to vintage is it?
Sponsoring is our own Donna. Mr Randoms chosen can pick to sets of your choice. Enjoy! Lots of great stuff to pick from.
I am making this short and sweet as the internet is wobbly and I need to take the cat to the vet as well. Cat fight in it's real meaning. LoL He looks terrible.
Love n hugs

Time do flies by
Hello there near and dear! Hope you are doing fine. I'm feeling a bit low and feel that I have a new era going in my head. Been without the antidepressives for a month now and it still hasn't stabilised the way I want it to. It's a roler coaster at the moment. Smiling and laughing one second, crying the next, agry after that. Feel a bit strange. Hope this will settle soon as it's very time consuming and drains my energy. Even if it's really hard now, I am very glad to be off the pills. I just wish it wouldn't take so much energy and time to get "normal" again, whatever that is. LoL
Back to why I am here...It's mid week again and I have a new card for the Paper Shelter Challenges with the lovely theme of Anything goes. I am stepping in to the A team this week as we are running a little short of card here this week. You have not missed that we are having a DT call, have you? If you know that your colouring skills are excellent, please do try out to our big warm team. You only have to make a card every second week. And only comment during that week. You also get tons of lovely images to work with and even matching designer papers if you want to use them as well. Only great and fun stuff!
Oki, I got lost again. I know, I am a hopeless case when it comes to this. Can't stop writing when I finally start doing it. I have used the beach kid from the Happy Time collection and I love him. He is almost as cute as my favourite birdy. I have used designer papers from Echo park. I totally love them and had to buy them twice and in full size as well. I know. Don't know when I ever is going to use up all the papers I have laying around. It's a lot! I kind of sorted them the other day. They will last a lifetime, anyone know what I am talking about? They look so pretty, I really must have them. Promise to use them up right away etc. I should give myself buyer's stop at this point. But soon all the lovely X-mas stuff will be here...
The card... it's decorated with some die cuts using a die from All that Scraps. Love them! So many fun shapes and fast service too. Too bad that I have not realized that before. They are also having a DT call by the way. Some charms from Bildmålarna. A net kidnapped from some garlic and I was finished, well after I had added some dewdrops to remind me of the water and the sea surrounding the beach boy. LoL
As always there is the three digis up for prize if you play with another brand than the Paper Shelter. A gift certificate worth $20 if you play with a TPS image. Great isn't it?

It's time again
Sitting here writing this post to be scheduled for tomorrow. It's cold today, not more than 18 degrees Celcius and I am freezing. Who stole the summer? I promise when the kids goes back to school and everyone starts to work again, then will the heat be back. LoL
This weeks challenge over at Bearly Mine Challenges is "Girly Birthday card". With that we mean tons of glitter, pink, purple, flowers, lace, pearls etc. As my hands has been a bit off this last week or so, I used a Vintage picture that I had stacked away. I am not sure where I got it from or anything, but it suited this purpose. So no colouring this time, how strange. It doesn't happen very often when I make cards. I kind of took inspiration from a blogging buddy of mine; Annelie who always makes the most stunning vintage cards and creations.
Back to my creation my papers are from the digi set Roses dream lovely papers in that set. I bet you all will love them if you try them out. They are paired up with some lace in two different makes, one very broad that started out as white but when me and my distress tool was done it has a light version of vintage photo. Flowers from Wild Orchid Crafts in vintage colours together with some pearl pins of two kinds. I have also stuch a piece of T.H filmstrip under the largest flower arrangement. Some pearls from Rox stamps and BunnyZoes. Tones of glitter stickles in golden rod and diamond. Have also used a doily made with a cherryl Lynn die for the inside of the card, and some jolly old ovals from Spellbinders where there is space to write a little greeting.
We are sponsored by The Ribbon Reel. Be sure to check them out. Up for grabs are a gift voucher worth £10. So this will be it for today. I do hope you come and join us in our challenge and that you enjoy playing with us.

Another thank you card
Hello! Good to see you all again. Here comes another one of my thank you cards for the kids teachers. Only a few to go now. LoL
As most of the others I got the distress inks out for this and used a Faye Witthaker image. Love them all to bits. The designer papers are as the others from Maja design and the paper pad Skärgårdsliv. I am so in love with them. LoL
And like the other cards a fairly simple design with very few decorations. A few flowers and pearls from WOC and that was it. :) Sorry about the crappy photo. Had to take it before I gave it away and photo time only showed up early in the morning so the light got kind of strange. It was fairly soft IRL.
I enter this card to the following challenges:
Deep ocean Challenges - Sea of love (sea related DP's and the kids are by the beach maybe sending a letter of love)
Everybody art challenges - Summer
Loves Rubberstamps Challenges - Sweet summer days
Love n hugs

A little card
Hi there! Here comes another little creation from me. Hope you had a wonderful day with tons of sunshine and warm winds. It has been the most wonderful day here in Kalmar. Have enjoyed every minute of it. Now it's time to get the kids to bed and then enjoy the rest of the day. I have slowly been working on this card the whole week, last week it is. I love the wonderful sketch over at PFP that I wanted to do a card by. Change a tiny bit as I didn't want the circle around my image. But I put the element there anyway with a doily.
The image is from the Paper Shelter and it's called Bath time. Isn't it the cutest? I love it, so adorable and such joy to colour. But I always find the easy and fun to colour in. If you don't have the time you can always use the pre coloured version. Anyway, this time the lovely Letraset family has been put to work again. The designer papers are from Dove Craft. Sentiment from Card Craft or something like that. Then a few buttons and some green twine and I was done. But in the end I added a few flowers as well and a little piece of left over lace that is the perfect thing to finish off with. Hope you like.
Now time to spend some time out again before the sun sets and I get way to tired to do anything. Tomorrow time to work out again. Gosh! I have missed that but I have a bad cold that won't give in. If I am careful I hope it works anyway. No jumping or running and I should be fine, like I could run anyway with my excellent knee. LoL
OK, talk to you soon. Relax time and then maybe some good stuff on the TV who knows. I might even write another letter today which would be wonderful.
Love n hugs
Marie

DT call over at the Paper Shelter
Hello! It's that time of the year again, we are doing our second DT call for this year.
Our DT call runs from today; 7th of July to 20th of July, that's two weeks. One entry per crafter only. We do check your blog and see what you are up to, so no need to apply more than once.
During this time we will not be commenting on our challenges, as we have given our teams some time of when it comes to this, they have been working hard since the beginning of the term. Our challenges will run as normal during the DT call, but without the commenting.
Our new design team term will start 1st of August and last to 31st of January.
What you need to do to apply to the team
- As we work with digital images we like you need to use a digi for your application card. It doesn't have to be new and it doesn't have to be a TPS image even if we would love to see you use them.
- Your colouring skills needs to be excellent and that is one of the main things we are looking at for our new design team members.
- Please don't cover up your creation in too much decorations for this application, we really love to see your colouring! Even if we don't want you to cover up your creation (being a card, a LO, or altered project), we do want your project showing your style of creating.
This is what you need to be able to to regulary for the challenge blog
- We feel that everyone deserves at least two comments each from the DT, so every second week you have to do your commenting in time. We have a comment rota, two numbers for each team member.
- You need to be able to post your card in time both on the DT blog and on you own. (Yes, you do need to have your own blog and post on it regulary, at least once per week).
- You need to be able to work with digital images as well as digital designer papers as the Paper Shelter produces both of these products. They Shelter does also provide pre coloured images and once in a while it's good if you use them as well.
Hope to see many of you entering this DT call, no DT experience needed. Don't be shy and don't think you won't make it. Maybe you will, maybe you won't; but you don't know, if you don't try. So a big welcome to our DT call here at the Shelter.
You find the full post over at the Paper Shelter. Hope to see a few of you entering our DT call.
Love n hugs

Another thank you card from the kiddie bunch
Good evening! Back again and really tired. Spent the whole day at the zoo with the kids, Mats and a friend of mine. I write this in a big blur as I am so tired that I can hardly see. Still I want to get this card posted as I have a whole bunch of them I would like it if I get them posted before the summer comes to an end. LoL
So once again a Faye Wittaker image from Joanna Sheen paired up with some lovely papers from Maja Design's Skärgårdsliv. Coloured with distress inks and one or two cat paws. It never fails, one of my cats always walk in the wet paint. Either on the pallette or directly on the coloured image that is not dry. Not much of decorations, just enough to make them a little more than just flat. LoL
I'll enter the card to the following challenges
Little Red Wagon - Inspired by the beach
Divas by Design - Red Blue and White
Crafty Sentiments Design Challenges - Summer time
Deep Ocean Challenges - Sea of love
Paper Take Weekly - Anything goes
And with this I say good night. It's a day tomorrow as well and I really need to get my sleep.
Love n hugs
Marie, really tired and really happy with this wonderful day!

Time again
Hello there dear crafters, and other people that ended up here of some reason. It's time for some sharing again and since it's Tuesday and time for a new challenge over at the Bearly Mine challenges it's best I tell you about it. Our theme this week is Ribbons and bows. One ribbon, one bow you need to have them both, one or two that's fine, but it can't just be a ribbon, or just a bow. Both has to be there. And one other thing, lace does not do it this time.
I have made a card with a Magnolia stamp that I haven't used before so I guess it was about time to do that. I have actually made to simular cards with it as W. had a double birthday party to go to. Two of his friends at day care have their birthdays in the middle of the summer and not many are home so they put the party a bit early and in a school gym. They had tons of fun playing around there.
Back to the card. The sweet little Tilda is coloured with my Letraset family and the designer papers are from Bearly Mine's Petunia Parade. Such lovely papers to work with and the are brigth and lovely too. Some die cut flowers made with Magnolia dies and the lace to the right is also a Magnolia die. A little paint in the corners and a big brad with a pearl in the middle of the bow sets it all of. Inside the card I made a pocket for a gift certificate. This time we sent the kids to the movies. A flower to the left and an oval to write your greeting to the birthday girl.
Our sponsor for this challenge is the Paper Shelter were I have my other DT boss Veronica and Pedro. IWe have a wonderful gift voucher up for grabs this week. Worth $ 20 and all to be spent in the TPS store that has some fabby looking images and paper packs that has come out on the market the last couple of weeks.
Sorry guys that I didn't use your images this time. My kid chose this one for his friend and I had a bit of lack of time so. Here I am with a Magnolia image instead. There will however hopefully be another Paper Shelter card coming up here soon.
So it's time for you to jump over to the Bearly Mine Challenge blog and take part in this fun challenge. I am expecting to see many of your cards there.
Love n hugs
Marie

Love n hugs
Marie
