Bow die or bow and die or...

Hi everyone! Hope you're having a good week so far. Spending the day at the hospital today, working out my new, well first hearing aid. Will be an intresting experience that I have no clue what that will lead to. Well, better hearing I hope. LoL Actually really nervous about this and how it will work out. Willl be a bit interesting to hear what people has to say as well. That's the good thing about blogging world, you don't need your ears. ;)

This is my second last week as a guest designer ower at Papertake Weekly. These three months has really passed by quickly. I still have one more to go then it's time for someone else to join this brillant team. But first my two last cards.

Well then, here it comes! For this week the theme of bow and dies are set. And if you are lucky enough you can always use a bow die, two in one how to speak, but I am not one of those lucky persons. So both a ribbon bow and a bunch of die cuts is what I have used for this card.

I have used one of the stunning images from Sugar Nellie and coloured her with my Letraset Markers and some prisma pencils for a little softer look. Then she is mounted on three different die cut circles made with spellbinder dies. The two top layers are mounted with form pads 1 mm. The second layer has a row of pearl string on it as I love the look of it. The designer paper is from Maja Design from about two years back. Love the summer feeling to this paper. Poppies happens to be my favourite flowers next to tulips and Gerbera flowers.

Tons of flowers, glitter glue and more pearls is used to decorate the card. The butterflies is made with a Doo hickey die from Magnolia. A hear and a butterfly charm is also used from my never ending stash of charms. The ribbon bow I placed on top for once with a few rose buds.

Hope you like it and come and play with us over at the Papertake Weekly challenges as well this week. There was some smashing entries last week and I can't wait to see what more you will come up with this week.

Love n hugs
Marie

Sketch time!

Hi and welcome back to my little corner. Colds going around in the house again so everything is very slow here. This time it's me and Philip, the youngest. I'm also starting to wonder if my crafting cat has got it as well. He is both coughing and sneezing. LoL Just kidding, well he is doing all that but he has spend a few hours chasing a poor youngster cat that came for a visit yesterday, and they was tumbling around under our porch. And my crafting cat Tage is actually allergic to dust and some plants even if they are almost frozen by now. But it looks really funny when both me, Philip and Tage is sneezing at the same time.

It's time for a new challenge over at Papertake weekly again. And we have now come to the end of November and that means it's time for a new sketch. So much fun! I love a good sketch and I kind of go to the little library of sketches over at Papertake Weekly when I don't have any inspiration or clue of what to do. I take a look there and always find something I can use to get my creativity going. So take a look at the new fabby sketch and put it to use, or do like I, use the sketch library found on the extra sketch page. For my card I have used the new sketch with number #85 I think. Love it!

Ok, when everybody is busy making Christmas cards I have to make plenty of boy's birthday cards. This week is no exception. One of my nephews had his birthday the other day and his passion is sports, dogs and being outside. However, they can't have any dog in their house as he is terrible allergic to them. They had to give up their rottweiler Jetz, but he is living the good days over at my parents place now. My nephew can at least see him during the summer when they can spend more time outside together. So this card is especially made for him and I even got the perfect image for it from the PaperShelter. It's called My cute Rottweiler and that is probably not what you would call a rottweiler in the first sight, but they are an amazing breed when taken care of the right way. Friendly, big teddy bears that loves their family.

My image is coloured up using my Letraset family markers and it matches, well at least some of the dp's from My Minds Eye that I used. They are from the pad called Fine and Dandy, True blue. Love all of those pads and almost always ending up using them for my boy's cards. I used some alpha stickers to spell out the name of my nephew and put a big "4" in the star as it is how old he is now. And I couldn't make a doggy card with out using one of my fabby bone charms. Some orange twine is also used together with some card candy to give some extra little details to my creation. The colours look a bit bright on the card but IRL if wasn't as bad. LoL

So come on and play with us over at Papertake Weekly this week and show what you can do. Plenty of great inspiration from the team is to be seen there.

Love n hugs

A little card

Hi there! Here comes another little creation from me. Hope you had a wonderful day with tons of sunshine and warm winds. It has been the most wonderful day here in Kalmar. Have enjoyed every minute of it. Now it's time to get the kids to bed and then enjoy the rest of the day. I have slowly been working on this card the whole week, last week it is. I love the wonderful sketch over at PFP that I wanted to do a card by. Change a tiny bit as I didn't want the circle around my image. But I put the element there anyway with a doily.

The image is from the Paper Shelter and it's called Bath time. Isn't it the cutest? I love it, so adorable and such joy to colour. But I always find the easy and fun to colour in. If you don't have the time you can always use the pre coloured version. Anyway, this time the lovely Letraset family has been put to work again. The designer papers are from Dove Craft. Sentiment from Card Craft or something like that. Then a few buttons and some green twine and I was done. But in the end I added a few flowers as well and a little piece of left over lace that is the perfect thing to finish off with.  Hope you like.

Now time to spend some time out again before the sun sets and I get way to tired to do anything. Tomorrow time to work out again. Gosh! I have missed that but I have a bad cold that won't give in. If I am careful I hope it works anyway. No jumping or running and I should be fine, like I could run anyway with my excellent knee. LoL

OK, talk to you soon. Relax time and then maybe some good stuff on the TV who knows. I might even write another letter today which would be wonderful.

Love n hugs
Marie
