Blue + one

Morning everyone! Hope you had a good start of your week. Having a fairly dull weather for a change here in Kalmar and has made the most of it by cleaning out our walk-in closet in the basement. So much crap and so good to get rid of it all. Well, the things we don't want at least. Did the "worst" part yesterday and keep working on it today. Have to finish what we started don't we?

Now for todays card, have used a Sarah Kay image and colored her with my Letraset family as I do most of the time. Designer papers used is from Maja Design Vintage Spring I believe. Flowers from WOC, doily made with a die from CL. Fence die from Magnolia, ribbon Joanna Sheen, charm Pagoni, pearls Bunny Zoe.

Sorry bad picture once again, still really strange weather that should be rain but isn't, wish it was so that the air would get better...

Our challenge this week over at Passion for Promarkers are Blue + one (hair and skin allowed). I went for different colours of brown together with my blues.

Whiff of Joy
Sponsoring us this week is Whiff of Joy with one lovely stamp. Please vistit their store to see what a lovely range of products they have.

Back to the reorganization in the basement. I really want to finish this off and think about something else or just read a good book, or even make a new card.

New CCM challenge

Hi and welcome back to my little corner of the world. Hope you're doing fine and feel better than me. Struggling with my thunder fear for days now, but better days will come I hope. :)

Todays challenge over at CCM will last for three weeks to put us back on track again, and that means you have until 18th of August to enter our "1, 2, 3" challenge. That means we want to see 1 image, 2 designer papers and 3 embellishments. (Either three different kinds of them or three of them, I think our team has interpreted it a bit different.) I have three different kinds of embellishments on my card this time. :) Pearls, ribbon and a charm.

Our sponsors this week
with a $20 gift certificate for their fabulous store

with a prize of £12.00 to spend at your favourite Woodware Stockist, either in store or on line.

And here comes my card, sorry about the strange photo. The weather is really strange and make it harder than normal to take a fairly good photo.

The image is from the Paper Shelter and coloured with my Letraset family as usual. The designer papers are from First Edition, sorry don't remember witch pad. Wish you all a good day!

A new challenge

Hi everyone! A really tired Marie here, was out in the fresh hot air yesterday celebrating my MIL 70'th birthday. Had another boat ride in Karlskrona and lots of great food and fun during the day. Today I don't want to move my body one metre more than I need too. Still I have to as we are being dog walkers today. Have both my brother's dog Od here and my mum's Jetz. One big, one small. Hope we'll have fun!

Ok, my card then. As you know I have two boys and they have tons of friends that all are nuts about football / soccer. So here comes another one I have made for one of their friends. I am starting to wonder how many versions I can use this image for. LoL

The card is coloured with my Letraset family and the designer papers are from Magnolia and Landstoken. Some buttons as decorations in the form of footie shoes and stars. Letters are from Panduro.

As always over at the Paper Shelter with the simple challenge of "Anything goes" this time, we have a gift voucher up if you play with our brand. Playing with any other brand gives you a chance of winning three digis of your choice.

Ok, tired and the dogs need walking. See you soon!

Love n hugs

What?

I know, three days in a row. For now that has to be a record. LoL I have cut down a bit on my card crafting. There is so many other things to do as well, but most of all, the time by the computer gives a bit too much pain as it is and so does Unfortunately my card crafting as well. However it is way to much fun to give it up and when I know my limit and stick to it, it all works out ok.

We have a new challenge up for you over at Passion For Promarkers this week (still can't believe I belong to the team). This weeks theme is "Create a scene i.e. cloud background etc". I have made a fairly simple card as my neck was causing me so much trouble this time. Could hardly do my coloring but I got there in the end. Think I have to spend a few days or so when I feel better preparing a few images for upcoming challenges. Might be a good idea.

Once again I have used a Tilda image, and this one is from the new collection Sea Breeze 2013. She "belongs" to the club kit that was sent out a few weeks ago. Even if I hardly ever uses the Magnolia images I make sure to get all the club kits, resulting in a never ending stash of unused images. I try to use at least a few of them now. LoL The new Miss Tilda is used together with an old back ground stamp from another summer kit but I don't recall what it was called. Of course they are both colored with my dear old Letraset family. The designer papers are from the Paradise beach paper pad once again. Love the colours in this pad. The only decorations is some pearls and a die cut border.

Our sponsor this week is the Digi Stamp Boutique and they are offering a prize of 6 digi images for one lucky winner. How great isn't that?

Well lovely people, by the time you read this I am taking a swim in the ocean and hopefully the sun is shining as well. Hubby won't be home tonight so I want the kids really tired so the go to sleep early. Fat chance of that when they know the soccer gals are playing the group final tonight against Italy. Heja Sverige!

Monday...

... and it's so hot outside. Have been a good gal and went to a seminar even if I didn't have to, but it was an interesting subject this time. It was all about backs. And mine is causing so much trouble at the moment so I thought that I better go and learn some about it. However, not much news there. Hope the Friday seminar about the same thing will give more. LoL A little secrete to share, It was good to get out of the house alone for a change. :)

It's Monday and time for a new challenge over at Crafty Card Makers again. This period we are celebrating "birthdays". The crafty card makers blog is celebrating it's four year anniversery and we want to see what you come up with as birthday cards.

For a change I have not colored my image. Instead I have used lots of products from Pion Design. It's paired up with some girly stuff like feathers, pearls, charms, flowers etc. This card is for a lady turning 75 in the end of July and at the moment I try to figure out if I should make a box to it or not. The image is fairly big and the card is bigger than I usually make them. Have no matching envelope this time. :)

Oh well, I need to go and rest my back now, the headache is coming back and I slept really bad last night. So a little nap and I'll be ready for miniature golf later on. That is, if the kids behave like they should. :)

Sunday and feeling crappy

Good afternoon everyone. Hope you are feeling better than I am today. My neck is killing me and I hardly feel my fingers. Luckly I know that when the neck pain eases I will feel my fingers and again. It's just that it takes a lot longer than it normally does for some reason. Guessing it spells inflammation in the neck... Enough, talking about it doesn't make me feel better either, so we try to forget about it. :)

Have a little Magnolia card to show today. It was made for my cousins youngest son when he finished school about a month ago. Now he is plumber, another handy man in the family. Now we only need a painter and a bricklayer and we cover the most areas when it comes to stuff like that. LoL

Mr Edwin here is colored with my normal Letraset family and I am using designer papers from Landstoken here. Flowers are from Wild Orchid Crafts and I am Roses. The card goes in blue and yellow, the colours of the Swedish flags. When you finish school everything goes in those colors as hardly any school in Sweden uses uniforms.

Now time to finish of another card for a upcoming challenge and then maybe some soccer after that. No one has missed the fact that UEFA has a Euro Championships going for the ladies here in Sweden, and we even have a few of the games here in Sweden. Tonight for example Norway - Netherlands.

Challenge time

Hello and summer greetings to you all! Hope you are having a good day so far. We here in Kalmar are having a rainy day, well they say it will be later today and that is totally ok after a whole week filled with sunshine. I'm happy for the less warm temperatures and bit of ironing today. I'm not kidding, I look forward to it. Love to seen when the piles of laundry gets lower and lower. It feels so good to see something get done. :) And it's relaxing to spend some time alone as non of the boys loves the laundry room, well exept Willy then who loves to get the mashines going. :)

Had a blast of a (birth)day yesterday. Went to one of my favourite towns, Karlskrona with my little family. Had a nice day on some boat rides and a very relaxing day with some fabby food to finish it all off. :) It feels like the day after today and it was so worth it, pain and everything. :)

And here is why you might visit today. My card for this weeks challenge over at the Paper Shelter. This week we are doing the theme of "Swirly Girly". That means I/we want to see at least one swirl on a card made for a girl/female of any age. Nice and easy as last weeks challenge was pretty hard I think with an inspirational photo. But it is good to be challenge from time to time, don't you agree?

For this card have I used the lovely Faery Emma. She is coloured with my usual Letraset family in green, gray and pink. The designer papers are from Bildmålarna. I love those papers more and more and wonderful soft colours. Can't wait to see what they have coming during the fall. The fence die is cut in a dp from Maja Design and was a left over from another card. My swirls are from Prima, say it in pearls collection. Flowers are made with Magnolia die and so is the leaf. The swirls are beige but looks green here, sorry my photographic skills stinks. LoL

The gift voucher

I can't wait to see what you all come up with for this challenge. I am so looking forward to see your inspiration for us using this challenge. And as usual we have the normal $30 gift voucher up if you play with our brand of products. Play with another brand gives you the chance of winning three digis of your choice.

For the first time

Morning everyone! Hope you're having a great week. I feel ok, but still tired. I am not used to having my kids at home all day long and having to take care of them all by myself. LoL Normally there is daycare and school but now it's time for a 7 week long vacation for them both. That means a lot of kids around all day but I will see if they can't spend a night at granny and grandd ads later on. Would be good for them all, quality time you know?

Today is my first time as a dt member of the wonderful crew of my favourite challenge Passion for Promarkers. Starting off today and I am still thinking it's a dream. As always when I start something new and this is no exception I kind of lost track of what I know and how to do it, so please bear with me. I actually had to start two cards at once to get this together. LoL The challenge theme for this challenge is "Time - us a clock/watch image and or a sentiment with "time" in it". It was there the trouble started, I found the challenge really hard. LoL And there was no watch or clock in sight on my stamps so off to google sayings and wise words with the word time in it. Took a while to match it all up with an image as well but I got there in the end.

I use a Tilda image for my card, it's probably two or three years old. I think it looks like she is rushing so my sentiment "Time waits for no one" is suitable for the card. I have also used a paper pad called Timepiece Collection from Bo Bunny. I love the colours in this pad even if it's not my normal cheerful colors. Should use them more often. I used the latest sketch from Papertake Weekly even if I know I wont be able to enter their sketch challenge with it, I just needed to get over the block. Flowers from WOC and some liquid pearls is used to decorate. Have also used some "real" pearls and a net ribbon to finish it all off. The sentiment is computer made.

Sponsoring this challenge is Letraset with a fabby prize of  6 flexmarkers. How wonderful to get the those as a winning! So even if I found this challenge really challenging I hope you won't. I really look forward to come and visit you and see what you can do with this theme of ours. Come on and play with us!

Monday again

Good afternoon everyone, Marie here. Really tired and in pain. The weather is really wet and moist. Doesn't help at all. Better days will come I hope.

Today is the day when a new challenge goes up over at the Crafty Card Makers blog and the theme for this period is "Holiday". We want to see how you feel about it and what is holiday for you.

For me holiday is relaxation, bright colors, the beach and reading a whole bunch of good books. Maybe even sitt out on the terrass doing some cross stitching. A time without no "musts".

For my card I have used a Bildmålarna image from 2011 and colored it with distress inks for a change. The designer papers are from Echo Park and the pad is called Parardise Beach. Such perfect match! For decoration I have used a couple of my big buch of charms, some flowers from my really old stash together with some brads. Pearls and ribbons is also used to pop things up a bit.

Sponsoring this challenge is Sir Stampalot. Please do drop by and see what fabby crafting goods they have to offer you all.

With wishes for a bit warmer summer time
Love n hugs
Marie
